I like the overall style of the website, but I have 2 main issues with current state: 1) It is so much heavyweight it constantly takes >15 % of my processor and I'm not even interacting with the page. Animations looks nice, but it should be somehow simple and fast. 2) The "main menu" (I mean the top right icon and the overlay info that is shown after clicking on it) is confusing and doesn't make sense for me. 1) Either this page is simple scrollable all-on-single-page style -> then the menu is useless and just duplicates the info that is already on the page and confuses user. Or 2) the website will have more complex structure so some main menu is needed, but in that case it shouldn't be just hamburger icon, but rather make the categories/subsections links directly visible somewhere, not hidden this way. Thanks for feedback. Your suggestions are noted.

I try to give honest feedback to everyone, good or bad. I genuinely think overall that this is a nice site. The English version could use a little bit of polish but it is concise and to the point. The submenu off the main menu could use some font size adjustments in my opinion and it also feels a bit plain (the submenu). I love the animated header, the layout is nice, all of the links work properly. I enjoy what I've seen so far and I feel that other people I know personally will like it as well. Same here. I really really love the shinny and humble Dero logo. If this were an ICO, it would worth dozens of million USD, but I believe it will go far more than that in 2018 and upcoming years. My only regret is that all other coins/tokens of mine still being dumped while Dero's holding its price so well, so that I can't sell yet to accumulate this gem more. Great to have those words. Its very encouraging and different feeling when peoples approach you and say that they see no shortcuts but only hardwork in the DERO project. Whenever you hear that you get rejuvenated for more hardwork

Can anyone inform me why there's so much attention around this coin? I checked out their website and it looks like it was written by a middle schooler...
captain dero delivers before talks. checkout their github with stars https://github.com/deroprojectcaptain has delivered in two months more than several projects and icos combined together cannot deliver in year. after long time crypto scene is witnessing something new and remarkable rather than just forks, code rebase, gui wallets. its not ico and does not need flashy website. Developers from the community will soon volunteer to upgrade the website if DERO keeps getting so much attention. First suggestion for an update sent =P Thanks Serena and others for suggestions and volunteer. New website is already under process and may be in week time it will be updated. Slack members are already reviewing and contributing on website in beta stage.

+1 for Capt. DERO.
So true. Here we are just over 2 months into the project, and already we have a test release of a daemon, wallet, and explorer completely rewritten in Go. There are projects with far more developers that have achieved a lot less in way more time *cough* Intense *cough*.
5 years in crypto and this is the first project that truly excites me as something more than a short term money maker. We're lucky and privileged to be part of it IMHO.
Hah, I was just going to post that I have been shifting hashpower over to DERO the last couple of days and taking it away from Intensecoin, specifically, and for similar reasons: DERO is making excellent progress while ITNS seems to be stuck in the mud. This a very impressive project and it runs at lightspeed!
Congratulation! The most hardworking dev I've ever seen in crypto world. This is why Dero is far more the leader of Crypto Night family. Hold Dero for years and you guys will see great rewards.
Thanks guys for your support. Lets work and hope for the best.

OK, I see the point about completing the technical roadmap before a more general widespread promotion/listing of the coin.
Is this proceeding smoothly/to plan, do you think?
Better than I expected, can't speak for others though. The project is barely 2 months old, and the devs have already showcased / beta tested a fully functional daemon in Golang. That's more than some other projects I'm involved with have accomplished in 6 months. Yep, I agree. The steady progress and calm demeanor of our fearless CaptDero is why I switched some GPU hashpower back over to this coin even though the difficulty is horrendous and the present-day income/day is terrible. Great to have you guys.

Yes , Everything proceeding smoothly and as per plan. Next Status Update Release 2 will be uploaded to github before 20th Feb. 32 bit releases are updated to run in less than 100MB of Ram. Check previous Status Update Release 1 here : https://github.com/deroproject/derosuite

Welcome and thanks for the suggestions. Will go through the Algorand whitepaper.
Edit: thanks @b9ron, Algorand whitepaper looks really interesting.

I think we should be told of the devs plans. Is there a plan to add this to more exchanges, or not? If not, we should know, because then the likelihood of this coin getting more exposure, and more volume, is much less The roadmap is quite clear. Speaking for myself, I'd rather the devs were concentrating on rewriting the core code and implementing private Smart Contracts than adding the coin to more exchanges. Product first. If they succeed in accomplishing what they have planned, the exchanges will be beating down the door to list DERO. Agree with @Speedie. Lets work on the roadmap first and focus on delivering unique and start of art technology. Meanwhile we will keep exploring the exchanges which come in way. Exchange listings are not big deal comparable to technology. In addition everyone is invited to go through whitepaper and add your suggestions or features you would like to see on blockchain. https://github.com/deroproject/documentation/blob/master/WhitePaper.mdRd.

Can we please get pplns on the official pool...?
Ive got 4 rigs on the official pool running 13 second share times to try to get some shares in on fast blocks and i missed all 3 of the last 1% blocks. I even got a several Dero payout myself for a quick block yesterday that I clearly didnt split with many people.
Will evaluate pplns after coming release.
