Don't think they are coming back, they move from their location to a new place.  to a HOTEL, yes hotel.

Famous guy over here..

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Pirateat40

I'm not sure how many BTC Mt. Gox has in place, but in Face value at this time, This will be Biggest one.
243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: any advice -- I have 50% coins and 50% USD in MTGOX now ???? on: February 20, 2014, 07:34:16 PM
Sell to somebody at a deep discount or hold as fiat not btc

My understanding is that in event of bankruptcy a fiat claim is better

Yes, that's correct, also works for a lawsuit, But because his amount I doubt he'll want to sue Gox, but never the less having FIAT will make it easier for a Jury or Judge or even Government to better understand.

But this is looking like a Ponzi Scheme, they just move from their HQ to a new place, a HOTEL.  A company worth Millions running it from a Hotel, ummm... LoL.

Anyways, Ill you paid you its current value of $100, per BTC. I could buy afew, I don't want to take a big risk, this is looking bad. Ill paid you via PayPal.

Gox Wallet:  1A7pQb3U9aMunKs5Wrwf8Qwqu1Lbh2MeBn

You could send small amounts if you want to try it out.

But its rate, BTC at Gox will be $50 by this weekend, usually a major crash happens in weekends when Normal users see whats going on.

Afew PayPal related transaction as reference:

246  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: POLL: Is Mt. Gox Solvent? on: February 20, 2014, 09:01:27 AM
Mt.Gox is Dead.  Doesn't matter what it does or doesn't.  The ONLY question, is will BITCOIN survive?

Scenario #1

MT. Gox fixes the problem, EVERY user will withdraw BTC and FIAT at the same time, which will cause the market to crash even more.

Scenario #2

Gox knows that Scenario #1 could happened so they limit on how much BTC each user could withdraw, which will create a Panic Sale and try to withdraw FIAT.

Scenario #3

Gox knows that Scenario #2 could happened so they limit on how much BTC and FIAT each user could withdraw, which will killed the market..

Scenario #4

Gox goes into Bankruptcy, taking Crypto to hell and under, which will take a very very long time to recover, if ever.

AND THIS OPTION APPLY, to any scenario and its applying already.

In the Public View, Bitcoin and Crypto Currency is and always been a Ponzi Scheme. <-- They have been calling Bitcoin, that for the longest time.

what makes scenario 4 even a factor why with coinbase coinex bitstamp kraken coinmkt and btc-e?  :/  I'm jsut saying that seems really a bit over the top imho.

Scenario #4, I was talking about Bitcoin and Crypto currency, it will drop like it was a virus.

At this moment Mt. Gox is at $134.xx , ever other market is falling it.

Even thought in a Normal point of view, this should be good for Bitcoin as a large volume of BTC might be remove or lost from a major exchange. Which means less BTC's in the market.

But and a BIG BUT, is that its rise in price was giving to popularity on the Media.

Remember Remember the 18th of November,

Thanks "V", had to use your quote.  Grin
247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange?! on: February 20, 2014, 08:47:57 AM
I've heard that bitcoin exchange platforms are with very high fees. Is that true?

BTC-e charges 0.02% per transaction, which is very low.
248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Okpay to MTGOX deposit time on: February 20, 2014, 08:45:21 AM
how do you initiate a Okpay deposit to MTGOX, there is no such option on the mtgox funding interface.

Just spoken with Paypal and manage to get back 1/2 of my money! The other half will have to waiting for another 5 days later to file a claim. And this time,Paypal will file automaticatly for me as they (usflne.com) were very rude towards Paypal. And Paypal will not let them get off so easily!! Bitcoin are collectable items, isn't it!!! Place it in you home and show off somethings you really have!!

Don't tell them it was Digital  Wink  You'll be protected from him. Also you should file a charge back, if you aren't able to get your funds out.

http://www.usflne.com/ -> http://www.trustlink.org:443/Reviews/USFINE-205695447

The trustlink URL was located at the bottom, and it uses an 'I' rather than an 'L'. When I saw this, I did not use the site.
Have fun trying to get money back and whatnot though!

Yeah, they are also using USLINE.com VeriSign.

It was pretty clear it was a scam just by looking at the posts and usernames.

eventually you guys are going to get your PayPal accounts frozen if you keep sending funds to scammers and then chargeback. After all, PayPal is the one losing money because it's already gone from the sellers account.

Even that they should of have cancel their account, they haven't, which seems to be off.  PayPal will usually cancel any account without a question.  It seems they want Bitcoin Users to get burn.  Being that Bitcoin its a threat to their business.

Not Sure.
252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Mt. GOX - Change Location from its old HQ. to a HOTEL! on: February 20, 2014, 08:30:14 AM
I don't have BTC or FIAT on MT. Gox, but amid of its problem, they decided to move into a HOTEL.

As for the pool, figure I'll make it more fun.

253  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: The Bitcoin Shop ! WE SELL BITCOIN WITH PAYPAL ! JUST AMAZING ! on: February 20, 2014, 06:47:16 AM
This is for those saying PayPal is bad.

Its pretty easy to scam people with PayPal, as PayPal will ONLY cover the BUYER if the item is Physical. Not Digital.

Of course to be able to comply with their Digital Good Policy you need to send a waiver notarized and everything.

I found the crappy way about this scam, 2 weeks ago, in a single week got scam twice.   Cry

SO TO SCAMMER THINKING ON FILLING CHARGEBACKS, YOU ARE NOT PROTECT WITH PAYPAL.

Wish you, the best of Luck.  If you legit, pretty biz good module, make sure you comply with ebay regarding digital and currency trading.

It might be a scam, I do like the site, very professional, much betters than other scammers.

257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange?! on: February 18, 2014, 09:27:05 PM
Hey guys, i am pretty new to this whole bitcoin thing, after being scammed out of some money buy the site minershare.net, i have decided not to be discouraged and leave the bitcoin world, but instead abandon my dreams of mining and move on to buy and sell. I have been following the price of btc on coinbase, bitstamp, btc-e, and of course gox, for a while now but i want your guys opinion on which exchange i should put my money in. My thoughts have been leaning towards btc-e, but thats mostly because of that recent price drop to $102.  Grin
So let me know where you guys have been trading, and let me know where a rookie like myself should start.

Welcome,

The drop in price on BTC-e, was most likely an error from a whale, was their when it happen, its was fun.

I personally use BTC-e, never had a problem depositing or withdrawing. Look me at the trollbox.

I also use Coinbase to withdraw FIAT, that's the only reason I use them.

260  Economy / Economics / Re: Makes any sense to buy now? on: February 18, 2014, 09:02:14 AM
I think we are in a bubble. I think there is going to be a huge crash soon (1-2months), with 1BTC = $100

So right now, I'm HODLING, and I'm poised waiting for the Bitcoin Black Monday
So why you don't shotr now and buy back in 2 months?

If you could afford it, invest a little, don't go crazy.

For those who are PM how im spread .   I like cover every possible angel, to prevent major losses. (I sold 90% of my BTC back on early December, and keeper the FIAT)

What I have:

I have  10 BTC in Holding value at current rate around $6.5k USD.   This is Plan B, this is to protect me just in case it Goes UP. (if it goes down, I would loose on Plan B)

Then I have,

5 BTC and $6950 USD in FIAT inside my Favorite market BTC-e.

And Finally,

I have  25 BTC inside Coinbase, just in case if I need to Dump because its High or Low.
