6 sec, lmao, is the blockchain jammed so far?

lol, possibly soon

To be clear the transaction is visible in 6 seconds with the reciever, the transaction is fully confirmed around 40 seconds.

This speed has never been an issue.

Good evening all.

As promised all though late I would like to present to you the new Ultracoin Multipool www.ultraminers.com OPEN BETA. We have worked very hard on the back end over the past 2 weeks. We have gone through everything with a fine tooth comb to bring a stable and reliable multipool, in the hopes to both encourage the price to rise with buying Ultracoin to pay miners and to bring more acceptance to the coin. So anyway down to the pool.

10 coin multicoin pool. This will be increased in stages to 15 coin, 20 coin and so on miners and costs permitting. We have support for 3 algorithms SHA-256 SCRYPT and X11.

The front end is A big work in progress but works and does what it says, the backend is where the magic happens.
The pool is running Nomp rather than mpos. it is more stable more reliable and has alot more scale it terms of multipools applications.
That being said you do not have to register with the pool instead you create a mining key a private and mining key. This in turn makes mining alot more anonymous as you import the private key into your UTC wallet to get paid. No coin is stored onto the server for more than 15 seconds at a time to safeguard security, it truly is a amazing setup.

We would like to encourage as many miners as possible to head on over to the FEE FREE multipool and start earning some UTC and to help encourage more miners to jump on board.

We are open to any suggestions, constructive criticism and general input. We hope you have a trouble free time mining at the multipool.

MANY THANKS Craig.  WWW.ULTRAMINERS.COM

Thank you very much!

The site looks awesome and you built it in a record speed. UTC can really use this right now.

Come on people! have a go at the brand new multipool!

The plot thickens:

I have gotten a second reply from bitpay, and alpha tech is under full investigation.

I still think they can resolve everything and move on into a bright future. But if they continue on this path of unlawfull denial of full refund, they will likely loose paypal, creditcard companys, and also bitpay. Then there will be no batch 2, or batch anything, so it would be wise to stop this self sabotage.

Please alpha, do the right thing, and allow my lawfull full refund of 5450 GPB. I am trying to resolve this matter out of court, please work with me here......

I told them I paid in full more than 10 weeks ago, and they've breached their own T&C by not delivery and that I want a full refund.  I also stated I'm not a business customer, no matter how they try to squeeze it.
Now that I've paid 100%... they are "not unreasonable" and will "give back 30% of my money" cause they are good, ethical, transparent people.  But they get to keep 70% of MY money they did NOTHING to earn. Not gonna happen.

Hello there,

We are very sorry but as per our cancellation policy it has been longer
than 5 months since you placed your order therefore you are no longer
eligible for a refund. Please note we have been very clear and open with
our terms of order, it was released as a news update, it is easily
available on our website and you are urged to view it on the product
page before you order. Such regulations only apply to consumers and you
are a business customer with us. I can assure you that our legal matters
are dealt with by a leading law firm in the UK. Our terms of order are
completely legal in the UK. It was typed up by solicitors who specialize
in this area of law. They have advised us that all our customers will be
legally classed as businesses for many reasons, one being that the
hardware we are selling can only be used for mining cryptocurrencies
which is a business practice according to HMRC. So we assure you we have
done our research on this; we wouldn't be having this discussion if we
were breaking the law.

This is not accurate, our terms specifically state: 'Remainder will need
to be paid 8-10 weeks before shipment' hence we've told you when
shipment will be (September) and you now know when you need to pay.
Having said that as goodwill we are allowing people to wait up until
shipment to pay.

Our terms specifically mention end of Q3 as the latest we hope to ship,
if we announce we will try to ship sooner it is done purely in goodwill
and not something we are contractually obliged to do. The date in our
terms is the only one that is legally binding as that is the agreement
you accepted. Trying to ship sooner and announcing such is a goodwill
gesture on our part and is not legally biding.

Having said all that we are not unreasonable and as a gesture of
goodwill we are willing to refund you your deposit, this will be done
via PayPal, please confirm?

Best Regards,

Alpha Technology Team

that is such bullshit.....

I was asked to pay the remainder of 70% on may 22nd. at that time the september date was absolutely not mentioned. That means the i must have a machine 10 weeks after may 22nd (juli 10th)

why do they insisnt on diggin a deeper and deeper hole for themselves.

pay us our lawfull refund. if they spend 1/100th of the time banning people on researching the UK law, they would know we are right and they are illigally denying a full refund, which i have clearly demonstrated in post 2702

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=314402.2700

I can not fathom the idea why they would want hundreds of cases against them in court, this will cost so much time and resources that it could be the downfall of the company. That is absolutely unnessacairy becasue they can mine with the hardware of fully refunded customers, and then re sell it.This will ensure the future of the company. A reputation is worth twice as much as a good product. and bad news travels twice as fast as good news.

They should not throw all their hard work away for stubbornness, we have the law on our side and justice will happen for us.I just wish i wasnt forced to do it via the legal routes.I wish to do it as gentlemen and simply recieve my 5450 GBP investment as per my right by the distance selling regulations.

and whatever lawyer told them this was legal should be fired at once.I was one of their defenders, its a shame when even the good people are forced to turn around.

i smell alot of fake accounts on the alpha forum. and they all use typical english words and are overly positive about new delevopments.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: August 01, 2014, 09:04:18 PM
just because they dont allow lawfull refunds illigally does not make them terrorists. If you are saying that purely on their name, then thats very rasist.

We still dont know if i will be attending in las vegas but it seems that my estimate of 3000 was high.

the room is $140.00 per night and the plane ticket (today) costs € 642,95 (863,6 U.S. dollars).

so the plane + 2 nights would be 1143,6 dollar. There will probably be some extra expenses like taxis or whatever so lets say 1500 to be be safe.

We need to decide on this and let them know as soon as possible.

I read this link https://forum.alpha-t.net/index.php?topic=903.0

i dont understand how he can think a terms page can go above the law of an entire country (Distance selling Regulations allowd FULL refund).

his "logic" is, you agreed to the terms, that does not make an illigal thing legal!

If i make a terms and you guys agree to it and it says "if you dont pay me back i will steal your car" that does not magically make stealing legal. even if you click i agree in my terms button.

Distance selling Regulations :
http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/distance-selling-regulations

I agree with Fiaz that they have given more hashrate then we had agreed to, and this is most kind, but if the law says i can get a FULL refund, then i can get a FULL refund, that means 5450 GBP.

This company has made me scared,i dont even dare to post on their forum in fear of being deleted.

why would i want to own a part of it? i want out.

nobody is above the law

http://dshub.tradingstandards.gov.uk/dsrexplained

unconditional right

FULL REFUND BY LAW, your terms are not above the law. are you really going to fight every customer, and then fight the law of the kingdom of great brittain itsself? are you kidding me? Where is an attorney who can prove your terms are above UK law?
http://dshub.tradingstandards.gov.uk/dsrexplained

notice the .gov in the url.....this is not some bunch of trolls making stuff up. this is the actual government of the actual United Kingdom , showing the actual law, that actually apllies to us.

5450 gbp refund please
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: August 01, 2014, 03:00:39 PM
i doubt if they realise the seriousness of the situation and howmany people are reporting them to any and every agency they can find....

The fact that a terms page can not superceide the law also seems lost on them.

I say it again, the wise course of action that will ensure survival of the company is refund the people who want a refund in full....mine with their miners until they are resold with a small discount.

The shitstorm that is coming their way is enormous, and why you would want to battle 100s of disgruntled customers in court is beyond me to understand.

The terms i have agreed to state nothing about terms being subject to change, and state nothing about me being viewed as a buisness, which i am not.

i am fully in my lawfull right, and any judge that is not smoking meth will acknowledge this,,especcially now that i am in possetion of the full website from januari.

If they do not respond to my email and grant the full refund, im going the bitpay route, and then gradually higher up in assistance. all the way up to debt collectors.

I hate what they are turning me into.i simply want my lawfull right fulfillend, and i wil bare no grudge and i might even order in the future with them if they handle this well, and have a good product to show that is not pre order.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: August 01, 2014, 12:45:06 PM
i feel like a fool, i paid in full and all with bitcoin. I felt pressured when they asked for the 70% and i feared of loosing the order. That money is every cent i own and i cant afford to loose it. That money was to be an income to facilitate UTC expenses and help the coin grow.

I think alpha tech and customers are to blame. Alpha not disclosing problems as they happened and banning, and customers for yelling scam to quickly.....anyway this thing turned into a giant cluster f#ck and i have asked for a full refund yesterday which is my right by law. i am not a buisness and here in the Netherlands i can earn legally with mining and report the income as "side revenue" as an individual.

I am well within my right to recieve a full refund, i was not greedy when i ordered this, i simply wanted an income.I believe they are real buisnessmen and not scammers and i have asked people to be reasonable for many many times. But they keep making the wrong tactical desicion. I too have banned baseless acusations and trollers on the UTC thread, and i support this.but there is a fine line between trollers and concerned customers. And i can say when the stress of the fudders got to me, i may have banned some good people as well, this is human behavior.

we have gotten into  reversed chicken and egg situation where they want to ship machines, but somany customers want a refund now, including myself. that the outcome of shipping seems grey.

I have tried to look at this from a positive angle for many times, but now i fear i have killed my money. Kevin o`leary would be gravely dissapointed in me.

I have given them 1 week in the mail to refund me in full, so i will wait for the reply. The old your a buisness has been debunked and proven illigal. I am not a troll, i simply wish to exercise my  lawfull right.People need to coordinate actions and not start a 1000 seperate things.

and i do not think this means bancrupcy for alpha tech. they believe in their product and that is how its supposed to be.The wisest course of action now is refund people who want refunds, then AT should turn on the miners of the refunders and mine with it.

Then they should put these miners back for sale with a small discount of 20%. This way they can keep people happy and survive.Because every miner has a profit margin built in, they would even ROI quicker then any of us.

As a side note, the proper course of action was not offering shares in the company, becasue disgruntled customers have no taste  to own which they do not like. The wise thing was to rent hashing power effective imeadiatly and distribute this under customers as a compensation for missing the juli date.......
