The value is pegged to the dollar, so no matter how much is bought, it should in theory always have that same amount of dollars in a bank account somewhere. ^smile^ 1 USDT is always = 1USD

I don't really understand, but it makes that currency become centralized While the fiat on reserve/deposit is 'centralized' - don't worry about that as it will never be used or liquidated. It is just there. Now there are 6 million USDT in circulation and those are traded on the blockchain all day long (about $500,000 / day). Somedays they are going here, somedays they are going there. All on the blockchain. Fiat In and Fiat Out of the system happens rarely. Only when the system needs more or less units to operate. For now, the volume is quite good. There are enough units in circulation. You can make shitloads of trades between BTC and USDT and never trigger a need to adjust the reserve. So, it is exactly as if USD were on that blockchain!!! You can now send $10,000 anywhere in the world! It will always be $10,000. No matter the price of bitcoin, the USDT says 1:1 with the real dollar. Cool eh? Send money, don't lose on exchange rate. Watch out, EURT and JPYT coming soon. Hedging BTC with USDT would be a good option. What security risks are involved? Are there regular audits of the USD funds?
Audits by independent parties done all the time. AND you can see the real time value on deposit from their 'transparency' page. You can compare that with the blockchain. It is very secure. It is secured by the Bitcoin blockchain. There isn't any other blockchain on this system. The people behind it are some of the most invested in bitcoin success ever. It is all done on the Omni protocol layer. So you can see clearly every transaction detail. A very cool trick.

When you fear the price is going down, you've got to sit in USD so USDT is a good option. But why did Tether USD just issue $3,000,000 more units? http://coinmarketcap.com/assets/tether/Market cap went from $.5 M to $6.0M pretty fast. This USD crypto is getting that popular? What other uses besides a bitcoin hedge are being done with this system?

is there any transcript of it? the audio is really bad and and i just cannot understand most of it (i'm not from english country)
Don't worry, even if you were from an English country and spoke perfect Queen's English, there is nothing in there to understand. Put a bunch of rocks in a large tin can and shake it up vigorously. You'll get about the same meaning out of that.

FUCK! UK is dead again. This time for sure.
Wow! That was a surprise. UK is fucked. But they will recover. Europe is totally fucked and they will NOT recover. Parasite EU nations lose big time. UK now gets to stop paying for all those immigrants Merkle decided to adopt. Germany on the other hand now has to pay for those families for the next 40 years. 10 years from now, UK will be singing like a lark because they got their system reorganized. Germany will be drowning in welfare and terrorism murders.
I can't say I am surprised that UK has told EU bureaucracy to go fuck right off. Germany, the only other healthy economy is left holding the bag of shit.

Bitcoin is rapidly making up for lost in the last three days of the position after the majority of the inhabitants of the United Kingdom voted for the country's exit from the European Union. We are waiting for further growth.

I understand that when experienced, confident and assertive men speak general inconvenient truths about women, other "men" who can get none (or are terrified of losing one that are barely holding onto) start white knighting, playing Captain Save-a-Ho.
Or they're just trying to help you stop being such an embarrassing douche. A possibility we shouldn't overlook Yep. As dumb as Perianne is, I'd rather have her on my team than that douchebag of shit.

My god she's hard to listen to.. So many words, so little content.
yeah seems to be a recurring theme of QUANTITY vs QUALITY Yeah, at least her sequined decorated tits are both QUANTITY and QUALITY. You'd have to admit she has that going for her.

those enemies of Bitcoin are majority MEN. I though we weren't supposed to address gender. Then you go and do it. WTF? Just wanted to point out the absurdity of linking her womanhood to her participation in the private blockchain movement: there doesn't appear to be any correlation between the two. Maybe I should have just said that. Yeah, I think the interviewer was laughing more at her stupidity than her womanhood. Indeed, she was the sexist one by first bringing up sex/gender in her nasty tweet (first one). Turns out she is the sexist one. This tweet is pure sexist bullshit: This became a man / woman thing because of her comments. Those guys never had any beef with her being female - they only disagreed with her being dumb. Then she goes and declares that all this is because they are 'men'. I gotta say, that is bullshit. I'd like her to apologize for this. This sexism behavior of hers is damaging to the community. She should withdraw those comments and apologize to the community for having done that. It was unfair and unwarranted and it draws further divide between all members of the bitcoin community. We can call her on all of that without posting pictures of her body on the Internet. Doing so leaves a bad impression impression of the Bitcoin community on women who visit this forum. Now people are gonna point and say we're objectifying her, which makes it harder for us to spread Bitcoin love. When you decorate your tits with sparkly sequins and push them up high for all to see, and when you strut around on a runway in a bikini competition you pretty much give up your right to claim others are objectifying women. She posted those pictures on the Internet. She wore that bikini in a beauty competition. I am not sure you can dump that on the bad behavior of guys. But, whatever you say is good by me.

Talk... talk... talk but with no real relevance or actual content, she gets paid to do this? Looks great but doesn't know shit. Well, then stop listening to her and look at her. Precisely. Generally, when certain women talk, this is all I hear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HFiMXZiLAsLet's not be a bunch of misogynist assholes.

be patient, maybe it was just a mistake and the system may be immediately processed, if not, maybe you can send an email to the person concerned or admin
Yes, be patient. And more each day be patient. The blocks are totally full now. Knowing whether or not a transaction is processed is not possible any longer unless you wait of 5 or 6 days. You must just hope that it finally gets into a block. hope and pray and wait. That is the system. Don't worry, nearly everyone else is doing the same thing. Lots, and lots of transactions are sitting in never, never mempool. This is how Blockstream wants it. So they can sell you a solution later. You see, the system is intentionally set up like this by G.Maxwellian. Nearly everyone else wants to fix it by adjusting one line of code. But that would spoil Blockstream's grand plans for their little private solution and a toll booth to use it.

Are Bitcoin Debit Cards a good thing to buy?
How having a bitcoin debit card is good for anonymity ? I don't get it . those cards defeat the whole purpose of using bitcoin in the first place . You won't be able to get those cards unless you provide real information's like ID and residence etc , It's not recommended to use them if you care about your privacy otherwise just go head and use them. Just stop doing shit that requires anonymity. Quit taking drugs and learn how to code. Holy fuck - would you give up on the anonymity bullshit already? Nobody needs that if they are doing legal worthwhile things. Anonymity has given Bitcoin a bad name. No more anonymity. Fucking stoners.

How long is it going to remain cool - that when talking to the press one says: "we think blockchain is great, we don't like bitcoin"? It seems like every interview involves someone saying how remarkable blockchain is but that they aren't at all interested in bitcoin. "If you look at our view regarding the blockchain, we want to clearly separate bitcoin from the blockchain. There’s bitcoin as a method of payment, and blockchain as the technology behind it. The latter we find interesting to explore," she said. OK - for the last 18 months this was the cool thing to say. But for how much longer will people try to impress others by denouncing bitcoin while telling of their excitement for 'the blockchain'.? WTF?
