Hey Guys !
I'm looking for help with my weird problem (I can't find any answer anywhere, please help !)
One of my cards is not working when mining ultracoin, it's either "sick" or "dead" or just mining at 0hs/sec.
When I relaunch the miner, another card from the rig is out, always one random card is out of four cards is out.
The best part : mining any other scrypt (not jane) coin : everything works perfectly.
Is there any technical aspect that I'm missing here ?

Try to lower the intensity? I did try it, tried to lower mem and core too. thank you for trying to help you are probably drawing too much power.. what are: Your cards your mem speed (and stock?) your core speed, (and stock?) your powersuply I don't think it will be power if everything works okay using normal cgminer. My cards are using about 40w less per card mining scrypt-jane Well thank you all for trying to help. To answer : -My cards are on stock voltage. 4 sapphire 7950 dualx 3gb with boost - psu : 2 corsair tx850m connected via add2psu. powered risers. - Engine clock : 1082. Mem : 1250. ===> I tried to reduce those values a little first, then stock, then under stock, no effect - Ram : 4gb. (that's the only thing I can't change now that could maybe be an issue) reminder : Every time I launch the miner it's a different card that is "off" or "dead" or "sick". And the whole miner works totally normally with any other scrypt coin. Looking forward to have a solution that works, bounty is still on ! - Yes I would say definitely your RAM I am using 2 R9-290 and they are taking up 4GB of RAM on there own |

At launch:
- client link was not posted in OP but somewhere at page 55 so people pressing F5 for the launch lost time finding out where the client was
- pool didn't work for hours
- no addnodes posted so only lucky ones (and OP and friends) could mine
- 2 million premined
- diff adjust very quick and responsive, so new coin generation is very slow compared to premine, only "stakeholders / premine holders" will get a huge chunk of the pie at the exchange
They had 3 weeks to prepare this launch but somehow it "failed" to launch smooth.
That's how scams work...
-link was posten on thred, on main thread, on irc and on twitter -pools did not work but many people worked together to make it happoen (6 different pool operators), this is JAne, its more difficult -EVERYBODY could solo mine,the devs and i did not mine, we didnt even have time to mine, and i stepped back so people can mine the foirst blocks,we were way to buisy to make thiungs happen. -premine is FULLY explained on the initial post the 13th. On the first post there is still a link saying client will be posted here, which it isn't. Pools were supposed to be ready Thurs, if you were having problems you should have delayed the launch until everything was ready. Not everyone could solo mine, some people couldn't even open the wallet, but instead of helping them you were to busy deleting posts that you didn't like |

Do you get your payouts from ypool? I see a payout in my account that was almost 1 hour ago and it still did not make it to my wallet.
I think payouts are set to once an hour it does take a while sometimes, you will get them though. |

New Pool up at http://pool.code4.us/utc/ . I will say that sure the pools had a time getting going but the devs have been really helpful to everyone throughout the whole process. Your joking right? Bumface spent the first hour deleting posts he didn't like instead of helping people out |

Check your transactions if its a '?' then it means it's orphaned if it getting confirmed then you have found a block |

I had a hard time getting going too and a pool would have been nice. I'm theoretically mining with cpu and finally got cgminer with jane patch running.
I had to google wallet cgminer solo mining or something to put all the pieces together.
I thought I had mined scrypt jane with my normal cgminer before so had to run and download new crap. Finally got running at the tale end of diff 3 so I missed the good mining time.
Not knowing how to wallet mine with a gpu or make a conf file is not the fault of coin devs so while it was frustrating I can't blame them.
The fact that they chose to hold the pool kind of smells like they wanted to grab the low diff blocks before the hoards got in. To avoid this kind of accusations dev's should have a pool and test the thing before launch or there will be loads of people trashing the coin because they cant mine.
so far 30 min at 550kh and no coins after 2 hours of getting set up and a day or two of watching for and preparing for launch so at this point not really worth the frustration.
Be thankful that you only wasted 30 mins of electricity I was mining from the start and got nothing either |

So I think I finally got the solo miner running.
R9 280X only getting 475 kh's but no Accepted or Rejects.
Says New block detected on network.
Does this mean I am actually solo mining and are those blocks I am finding?
This is a huge accomplishment for me if I am actually solo mining. Been trying for a month now. Well with out solo mining from the wallet.
That is all I've been getting for over an hour. Basically unless you have 5 M/hash+ you don't have a chance of finding anything. Unless a pool opens very soon this coin will die as even the people with big rigs won't be finding anything. At this point I don't care about the coin. Just happy if I am solo mining. Please tell me I am doing it right Been trying to do it for over a month. If I am solo mining then maybe I will be ready when MaxCoin comes out and be ready at the start instead of hours later. Yes it sounds like your doing it right. MAXcoin is cpu only so you will mine direct from the wallet unless someone brings out a cpu standalone miner |

Time of release is 8pm GMT as far as I'm aware, just before I head out for a few beers  That's 8pm UK time it may be GMT or GMT+1 I lose track |
