I'm getting insecure connection now when trying to connect to btc-e.com

Look, not trying to rub anyone,BUT......you NEVER keep more than you can lose on ANY exchange, online wallet or anywhere besides YOUR personal wallet on your PC  Roll Eyes

This has been common knowledge for YEARS.........sorry some folks lost sizeable amounts but the warnings have been mentioned many times.

I used BTC-E myself for the last 6 months, they allowed ANY amount of eth to be deposited where Polo would only allow a full eth coin deposit....no fractions at all.

But I traded my eth for btc & got out ASAP  Wink

I hope BTC-E comes back, cause frankly Polo is the only exchange left that trades eth for btc easily........& I like choices  Wink

I keep seeing this very basic idea, while it makes sense as far as keeping your coins safe, if everyone followed it there would be no trading what so ever on exchanges.

Is it just me still getting the Cloudfare Error 522?

Go to the BTC/MTL market on Bittrex

https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-MTL

Then either sell your MTL into an ASK order or Place a SELL order and wait for someone to buy it.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin | Mandatory Wallet Update on: August 25, 2014, 04:08:30 PM
Why?

This coin is running fine, with dedicated seednodes, a small but dedicated community, why would they "swap" their GPU coins there have spend days, maybe weeks mining for some random coin, that cannot even have it own unique release and instead sucks like a bat from other coins.

I like GPUcoin and you are having none of mine.

Thanks.

I hold a fair amount of GPUC myself. I thought that it may give people who were interested, a way to make some of the money back that they lost on this or to trade some of the coins they have mined.

I'm not sure how you think this coin is still alive?

No Dev, No exchange and last trade price of 1 satoshi, seems pretty dead to me.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin | Mandatory Wallet Update on: August 25, 2014, 06:28:20 AM
Just thought I would put this out there.

New coin being launched with a chance to swap your GPUC for the new coin if it gets enough votes.

Is the multipool still mining Voot? I can't seem to find it on the Coinking site.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN]First P2p Decentralized Trustless Anonymous Wallet New Thread on: August 18, 2014, 04:40:23 PM
Is there anyway to contact the owner of the multipool?

Apparently a payment was made yesterday but I didn't receive anything. I've been mining from the 14/8 I'm not sure when this payment covers from and to.

If I input my wallet address it shows my miner details hashrate etc, but if I search on X11 miners from the home page my wallet address doesn't show up.

Any help much appreciated thanks.

There is email address on the pool

-"but if I search on X11 miners from the home page my wallet address doesn't show up."
@scroll down (there is no pagination)

Thanks that doesn't appear when I roll over it it just says bit message.

Can anyone help with when the next multipool payout is?

It says daily in the help section but from the stats the last one was on the 13/8
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SYNC]X11|1,000 Coins| NiteSend| Sync Foundation | Manadatory Update on: August 01, 2014, 09:27:21 PM
regardless what the outcome will be on this
it was a joint venture and should be credited as such
and I have been here from day one and it was a joint venture.

To have articles going around stating that sync has zero innovation is
like saying don't bother coming over here because theres nothing to see
and thats my point

I agree the innovations were added to both coins at the same time which is why the coins are linked. I was just pointing out it was thanks to the Voot premine that this was possible.

I hold both Sync and Voot for the record so have an interest in them both.

For those who have missed this article.

http://www.coinssource.com/crypto-coins/sync/

yeah i'm not happy at all that it says we are using voots nitesend technology
and stating the coin has zero innovation when voot is using Syncs nitesend
techology, after all voot was not even around when nite69 started nitesend

This has left a bad taste in my mouth and is not correct.

The foundation must correct this statement immediatley

Voot was taken over by mscollec and was gifted all our innovations

and yet I'll guarentee that coin will not survive sadly due to its fractus community.

I'm not sure that this is correct.

Wasn't the premine from voot that was returned to MSCollec when he took over Voot used to fund nitesend 10 BTC I believe or part of that 10 BTC.

If I remember correctly it was bounty from both communities. And they used voot as the test grounds to make sure it worked before they implemented it here.

Posted by MSCollec on June 5th in the original Voot thread.

"Probably multi-pool dumping their loads. 5 Btc bounty for the anon/mixer will be paid out tomorrow and full time development will commence immediately"

How do I make my staked coins spendable?

Nearly all my coins are staked but don't know which way this works. Anyone know?

Lock your wallet so it is no longer staking. You will then have to wait until the coins have a certain amount of confirmations before they are returned to spendable.

I'm not sure on the number of confirmations it shouldn't take long though.

Seems to me this is a good coin.
But, why is there just one pool?

It's a multipool you can't mine Voot directly anymore

I see. So basically, I cant mine only VOOT?
I hate multi pools I must say Embarrassed

I find it better to mine something else and then sell it for BTC and then buy Voot.

Seems to me this is a good coin. Edit: Just saw the 2% Premined. That cant be good Sad
But, why is there just one pool?

The 2% premine was returned to MsCollec when he/she took over the coin and was used partly to fund nitesend and other developments as far as I understand it.
