241  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Trump Be Re-elected? on: August 30, 2018, 03:48:38 PM
OH, gosh I certainly hope not, this something unseen in the history of politics, rich moron is stearing one of the biggest and powerful nations in the world.
I hope that by that time Stock market would have bursted and Trump will be forgotten completely in next election.
242  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia vs the world??? on: August 30, 2018, 02:36:06 PM
Guys, wanted to know your opinion about potencial war incoming.

What do you think, will Russia continue occupying little countries like Georgia and Ukraine resulting in a new war or will it stop using such an aggressive politics?

Will Trump try to stop Russia or he needs Caucasus only for his army bases?

And what do you think, who will be on Russia's side??
I don't understand why russia has to be so aggresive... I'm Pacifist and i hope after years whole world will be against war and any aggresive activity

The reason is very simple, Putin is afraid of losing hes power. If people are not distracted then they star tto think why there is much corruption why they are living in poverty when Putin and his friends have BILLIONS UPON BILLIONS. So he is trying his best to brainwash the society of Russia with misinformation and with fear , fear that there is an enemy real or not and one of the fear and distraction tactics is WAR.

P.S. Russia have a TON of paid trolls in internet , i wont be surprised to see them here as well.

EDIT:
And here seems to be one of those trolls, any intelligent human being knows that Russia is aggressor.

Most people that think of Russia starting the war - are clueless and brainwashed degenerates.
243  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why people don't vote? on: August 30, 2018, 02:22:38 PM
Its funny that most of people think that it is useless to go to vote. And in some cases it is useless, because the election are rigged, for example Russia.
But in most countries they should go vote, in my country this is exactly why we have driven our home town in hands of seriously fucked up people just because most did not go to vote thinking that this is useless, sadly the most non voters are young people who often thin that they are protesting this way. No this kind of protest is shooting yourself in the leg.
244  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: August 30, 2018, 02:18:16 PM
People who denies global warming makes me sick, sad and angry in the same time.
Every one who considers himself as intelligent individual should understand that this is very real , too real to be honest.
 Undecided
Climate is not changing slowly, it has already changed. Also i have no note something that most people do not know, there is a big chance that we all are already doomed, earth has huge amounts of CO2 trapped under ice, located in Siberia and in the same latitude gradient. If this CO2 will brake free the domino effect would make our planet change for thousands of years and humanity will die out. And i am not exaggerating ,this is real and this has already started Siberia is full of new HUGE HOLES hundreds of meters in diameter and tens of meters in depth.
245  Other / Meta / Re: [Guide] Bitcointalk account security on: August 30, 2018, 10:21:52 AM
I just recently came across a possible security problem in this forum which seems not to be mentioned here and i believe should be.

Do not give out your frequently used email address to bounty managers , there are a lot managers who do not protect email addresses which they collect during bounty and they can be easily copied.

Also this applies to bounties who asks for registration to their websites, this could be attempt of stealing your details.
246  Other / Meta / Re: Bounty stats by rank+possible security issue on: August 30, 2018, 09:12:08 AM
In my experience as cheaters hunter I can assume for facebook and twitter on some campaings a percentuage around 80-90% of jr members + newbies, yes most of them are abusers, but noone cares, manager, CEO of ICO, the bigger is the number more the spam it will be and more the manager will earn. (even if multiaccounts)
In the past I've found users with over 100+ accounts so in my opinion this 80% can be a real thing.
You can also ask to someone to Scrap those data it will be a easy thing, but I have no skill to do so.

Vou. This is staggering number that you have came across. 100+ accounts  Huh Huh You have some good points, they actually dont care as long as their marketing strategy pays off. Possibly the only thing that stops campaign of being shady is reputation and or ethics of manager but his is rare.

That is not an alarming things and it is not in the hands of the forum moderations tho, in my opinion. If people does not like those rules, then they are free to leave because the choice is in your hands. What is alarming now is that people are still joining on that kind of bounty campaign, and then doing the spamming, and when their email is compromised, they blame the forum. That is the problem right now.

Hypothetically. If we assume that these hacks happen because of these managers who cant even do their job right.
Moderators have to constantly work on hacked account cases, right? This takes a lot of their time to research every case individually. Then maybe it makes sense to tackle the problem at its roots rather to deal with consequences?
247  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-27] Iran Expected to Lift Cryptocurrency Ban in September on: August 29, 2018, 11:38:34 PM

Even if they want to legalize crypto in Iran in order to issue their own coin, I think legalization is a good thing overall because it is a big step towards merging with Western world. I wouldn't compare Iran with its potential ability of creating nuclear weapons and closeness to Europe to Venezuela with which Western world can be at war without serious consequences. I think it's better to be friends with Iran, especially when Iran shows its willingness to cooperate. As we know, Iran had limited its nuclear activities in return for lifting economic sanctions in 2015, and I think that the intention of the current US administration to reimpose tough sanctions on Iran is a big mistake. (Unless Iran has broken the deal, but as far as I know this not the case.)

The appearance of nuclear programming is only one of the argument. These people can not be trusted.
They are actively engaging in wars across their boarders not of mention that they are extremely religious country which is not a good thing in any way . Extreme religions is blindness.
248  Other / Meta / Re: Merit abuse clusters on: August 29, 2018, 11:01:39 PM
I can see that shining future is not far away, by considering the way Merit system works,
Its the opposite here, even though the system is working fine. I still can't see this "shinning future" as it is still covered with a crowd of shitposters.

I would see shinning future in scenario when Jr.Memebrs are required to have 1 or more merit to wear a signature otherwise I see that the forum will drown in Junior Spam.

This is not the first time that I have seen Merit exchange between users and this is not the last. Merit is not moderated by the forum and if there is clear evidence then both members get red tagged by DT members. shills.

I am also against the Merit abuse scenario and I also created a thread, even several posts regarding this matter. But later I realized since Merit is not moderated by the forum and we have to accept the bitter reality whether we liked or not.

How you missed the bolded parts in my reply Cheesy

I just think that there are cases which are not yet seen by moderators and I try to point that out with these cluster pictures.

249  Other / Meta / Bounty stats by rank+possible security issue on: August 29, 2018, 10:44:53 PM
Hi!
The idea.
Since there is a lot talk about bounty campaigns and who are participating in them but I haven't seen any data collected about this, I decide to research them a bit more, my initial goal was to collect data from bounty campaign sheets and give some quantitative analysis.
What I actually did
I did collect data  from 11 Signature bounty campaigns and about users who participate in them, collected the regular stuff shown in these sheets. I tried to collect data from different managers who accept Jr.Members because it is becoming clear that most Juniors are here only to spam and use this forum for a quick buck. I filtered those users who were accepted in these campaigns and  looked and the rank distribution, you can see this data below.

This shows that there is a lot of Jr.Members participating in these bounties, on average there are 40% Jr.Members in signature campaigns.

Unfortunately Twitter campaigns and Facebook campaigns do not register the rank of the member so i could not research them.

This all was nothing special or surprising, but one thing was alarming.

While i was going trough these campaigns I noticed one alarming thing, some of the managers are doing a poor job of protecting data. With data I mean emails of users, I found that 2 of 11 bounty campaigns did not protect sheets and emails of users can be easily copied.  This is alarming because emails in wrong hands could lead to hacked accounts, could this be the reason why there are so many hacked accounts constantly?

I do think that these managers should be warned and in case they dont listen - marked as untrusted members, i would not want to trust my data with someone who dont lock their spreadsheet.

251  Other / Meta / Re: Merit abuse clusters on: August 24, 2018, 08:10:37 AM
I think you have a point regarding 1st and 3rd clusters but not with the 2nd cluster. 2nd cluster proves nothing (at least for me) and it's not a closed loop either. You can find more of those cases if you scraped Merit data with Reciprocal sMerits tab in Merit dashboard , created by DdmrDdmr
Closed loop is not a clear criteria of merit abuse. The most obvious cases are sending big amount of merit from 1 user to another and back for ordinary post as in these cases that I have shown here.
Additionally in case 2 already ONE of TWO members involved in these transactions LeonBTC: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1035345.
has red trust for merit abuse.

I have a lot more of these cases tagged for myself already using merit database, it takes time to make a post so  i made this post with 3 of the cases.

This is not the first time that I have seen Merit exchange between users and this is not the last. Merit is not moderated by the forum and if there is clear evidence then both members get red tagged by DT members. So we just need to move on and those members will surely run out of their airdropped intial sMerits eventually. That's when forum becomes such a wonderful place to be than today. I can see that shining future is not far away, by considering the way Merit system works, the way Merits ruins shitposters/spammers life. Then we can expect less spammers and less shitposters, because then there are no Merit feeders for those shills.

I dont agree with you. Yes, the chances are the airdropped merit has run out already but some of the users who did abuse the system are here and should be tagged as admins are doing already.

Will do that.
252  Other / Meta / Re: [Request] 1 Merit to become junior member and access to bounties sub on: August 23, 2018, 04:45:33 PM
i like the option of signature but the spam in alt-coin and other sections is just so overwhelming so I do like this idea of 1 merit before having the option to use signature
At the start i just could not understand why there is many shitposts, then i learned about bounties.
253  Other / Meta / Merit abuse clusters on: August 23, 2018, 04:32:19 PM
Hi, i hope that i have chosen the correct section for this topic to be posted.

Ever since i learned about merit system on this forum I was constantly coming across some members with very shady merit transactions and recently the transactions disappeared  from user profiles. For me it was hard to believe that these users will get away with this behavior. Recently I came across this great merit database and started to investigate this data. I managed to get small groups of users who have done large transactions of merit from and to each other for regular posts mostly in local boards. . Some of these users already have red trust ( these users in info graphics have red names) but some connected accounts have slipped past admins. I understand that giving someone red trust has to have solid reason, I hope that this data will help admins to do their job.

I decided to show 3 of my findings, here is the first cluster of very shady exchanges of merit  between  several high ranking users:

rus23kav:    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=850811

254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $43 Billion Wiped Out of Crypto in 5 Days as Bitcoin Price Rebounds on: August 16, 2018, 02:57:19 PM
This is not something very new to me , I was waiting of this to happen.
And the reason is very simple, I did compare dotcom bubble to crypto bubble already some time back and we had to reach lower levels to shake off majority of speculants.
255  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin bull run begins now? on: July 26, 2018, 12:15:24 PM
Very interesting that the thread was started when BTC price and the market cap was very high.

At this point I am not even convinced that this mini bull run is sustainable, I dont see new money ad ETF is not as close as a lot people thinks.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk accept BTC for Tesla! 🔥 on: July 26, 2018, 12:11:24 PM
I think that he has much more on his mind right now to be thinking of accepting BTC .
Company will come around when it time.
257  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin affect world trade? on: July 26, 2018, 12:09:37 PM
I think that the short answer would be - no.
Bitcoin volume and transactions which are not related to exchanges are very small compared to world economy trade and therefore is does not contribute, at least - not yet.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to find tokens which are securities? on: July 26, 2018, 12:05:46 PM
It is quite easy, there are many tokens that are funds but the problem is the listing since most exchanges will not want them. I think that you should look into decentralised exchanges.

I was thinking not only of already existing tokens but also of which  ICOs will be SEC compliant .
259  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-25] India’s Supreme Court Postpones Verdict on Cryptocurrency Ban Again on: July 26, 2018, 12:02:58 PM
@Betwrong, @Harlot. Before replying try to understand what I was trying to say. Bitcoin is really not a currency but software for a message passing system. How can you regulate one as a currency and Whatsapp or Discord as another? If India starts regulating bitcoin as a currency, it might set up a precedent that other message passing systems might be currencies too, which would be bad.

I reckon maybe ICOs cannot be regulated as securites also for the same reason.

That would be ridiculous to define currency in this way .I think at this point they are in dark and they dont know to what road to take and are just watching what will other countries do regarding definitions and regulation.
But in the same time while they wait and think, capital is starting to flow away from India to more crypto friendly countries.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Where to find tokens which are securities? on: July 26, 2018, 11:55:27 AM
As we all know US economy is a big player when it comes to stocks and financial instruments, US is the country which is looked up to when it comes to financial innovations and regulations.

Therefore tokens which are in line with SEC regulations are valuable and are much more safer to invest in. Does anyone has seen any good source where security tokens are gathered?
So far i have found some tokens separately and more platforms which promises to help projects to emit Security tokens otherwise no luck.
