Please be aware of the post above me from antonio8

If you look closely at his 64bit link it does not match up (which he keeps swapping to 32bit)
We caught this person on another thread doing the same thing. Posting repackaged clients. They are malicious. Please remain dubious of all reposted links. People like this are everywhere!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=896133.msg12739739#msg12739739 Post probably wont last long but look through their history here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=208688

here is a pic of the link and the link behind it pasted in the notpad

I changed nothing in those post.

Don't even know how.

EDIT: I understand there are a lot of people looking to do dubious things. But thanks for pointing that out because I just went in and changed all my passwords just in case.

This forum is not known to have been hacked in the past or anything.

I have been around no for a while and have no intentions to do anything to ruin it.

Can you please show where this happened in another thread?

244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XTV]Tavos | CPU/GPU | Coin for the Masses | CryptoNote on: October 22, 2015, 03:14:07 AM
Hello everyone,
I am back.

First I would like to apologize for this big problem that happened.
There was a problem with the seed nodes, to the place where we were hosted, and
our provider did not give us the IP we had before back. After which, a new chain
was made while the whole thing was happening and the whole clusterfuck became worse.

We have made a new alternative to the problem.
We have now migrated to NXT Monetary System to use Tavos (Now NXTavos | Ticker: TAVOS)

There is an integrated exchange within NXT to trade Tavos with NXT.

We made a 1% pre-mine from the total supply of 10,230,000 TAVOS.
50% of the pre-mine will be distributed to 100 Tavos Supporters.
50% will be held for marketing and support for TAVOS.

--- Will make a new thread for this

Regards,
JM Erestain

I am sure this will be answered.

What happens to our coins that we have already mined? Are they useless? Being converted or just a new wallet and everything stays the same?

Wallet 0.9.2.16 will not open.

Assertion Failed! error

Windows 7 64bit trying the 64 bit version wallet.

If it's the first time that you run 0.9.2.16 you need to start with the -reindex flag I think.

Thanks for that. Wallet loading now.

Public node:
Bitnodes: https://bitnodes.net/node/194-135-91-150/

also I had to delete the Appdata folder and restart at genesis block ... had the stuck at block 482804 problem too Wink

do not del wallet.dat!
i'm assuming you know such

but just addnode first ... maybe it will sync for you without del and restarting the whole download.

Thanks.

I went ahead and did the deletes also to make sure and it is synced.

Has anyone been able to withdraw from Cryptsy. I have had a pending DGB withdrawall for over 5 hours. It sucks cause I would like to trade on Poloniex and now I'm stuck  Angry

Same here, Created a ticket and still waiting.

Just my bad experience or luck with Cryptsy, just from my side of experience. It seems every time a coin is doing well or a lot of heavy volume it bogs down on Cryptsy.

I personally never use it unless that is the only exchange that has the coin I am trading.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [TGC][ANN] Relaunch Tigercoin - Official thread on: October 16, 2015, 11:26:41 AM
@TigerCoinDev

Can we get a list of known working nodes now?

I am on wallet v1.2.0.2 and stuck at block 482804
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling Faster Ethminer on: October 15, 2015, 11:07:10 AM
Wow. A 75% performance increase. As a fairly experienced ethminer modder, I would be very wary of making this claim. Believe me, I've been there. Have you already let it mine against nanopool and see what it says about your hashrate? It will actually calculate the hashrate from submitted shares, not from counting how many threads you've launched in a second. Then again, I don't know and can't verify your track record, so you might just have done some magic there. If you need money, it seems you have the skills to find a decent job in GPU computing. Pays much better than private kernels  Grin
It's a 50% increase.

No, not against nanopool, but against suprnova.
Hashrate on suprnova is even higher than what ethminer reports.

It's not a mod i've done. Also the reason why i'm on a new account.

Wow again. Either you learn fast or you're reselling somebody else's  private kernel! See, you're selling it on ETH forums, but also asked a fair amount of n00b questions there. Please enlighten us!

https://forum.ethereum.org/profile/discussions/8457/Mcolman

As stated above, indeed reselling someone else his mod.

Interested?  Cool

how much are you selling it for? ...

will the kernel compile for linux? ...

#crysx

i also  want to know the binary for windows or Linux? i thought why are you make new account for this trade? give reason?

If I am correct he already did.

He is not the dev/author of the miner.

He is selling someone else's work.

That is if the miner is legit (virus free).

next step, create a nuclear power plant in antartica to power gpus ? :p iceland has lava and ice ... that helps a lot

that would be good ...

we could have them all made of waterproofing material - and leave them out in the open air and ice to keep kool Wink ...

Oh.

You mean with some of this? http://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/consumer-brands/neverwet/

0.30.17.6 - 64 bit Windows

Download link: https://mega.nz/#!qo0l2ITR!TIye_9oE173e6WGRXihXLwqEk6PqmewWnIqM07NgkqE

All my nodes are updated:

addnode=91.230.123.101:8888
addnode=91.230.123.11:8877
addnode=82.211.1.181:8877
addnode=91.230.123.101:8877

Damn it. Smiley

After weeks of no connection I finally got this one synced: Bitcredit Core version v0.30.17.5-5c2b15d-dirty (64-bit)

Will update again.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BITCREDIT | UPDATE 25/09/15 | BID ON THE CHAIN | VOTE | ESCROW | WORK FOR COINS on: October 08, 2015, 11:27:13 AM
OK, rather than halting the network and having to start back up again, we'll do a live roll-out. I've updated the git and the upgrade is enforced @block 213200. All obsolete versions will be cut out.

That means update, update before you get cut out. Using this method means we don't have to stop the chain and it's a pain getting it to normal rates like this. It also means services won't have to do much to get up to date.

Can the OP at least stay updated to the current wallet?

It is hard to see what the current wallet is trying to scroll from page to page to find a link. The link in the OP does not even work for the wallet now or at least when I click it.

I just finally got my wallet synced (or at least I hope it is).

Correct version of wallet to run? v0.30.17.5-65cdd79-dirty

EDIT: Link in OP does not work
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BITCREDIT | UPDATE 25/09/15 | BID ON THE CHAIN | VOTE | ESCROW | WORK FOR COINS on: October 08, 2015, 12:50:26 AM
What nodes/peer should we have in the config.

I am running the 0.30.17.5 wallet but no connections at all. Stuck on block 206553.

Thanks.
Try:

addnode=91.230.123.101:8888
addnode=91.230.123.11:8877
addnode=82.211.1.181:8877
addnode=91.230.123.101:8877

It's been kinda hard for me to keep up with the wallet versions and things. I tried the addnodes but no connections still. Is the config still suppossed to look like this?

rpcuser=UNIQUE_USER_NAME
rpcpassword=UNIQUE_PASSWORD
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=xxxx
allowip=xxx.xxx.x.xxx
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
genproclimit=0
banknode=1
banknodeprivkey=MY _BANK_NODE_KEY
banknodeaddr=127.0.0.1:xxxx
irc=0
addnode=91.230.123.101:8888
addnode=91.230.123.11:8877
addnode=82.211.1.181:8877
addnode=91.230.123.101:8877

Sorry to bump my post but can someone tell me if my config is correct now.

Going on 2-3 weeks now with no connection.
