What means by "shitposters"?... Huh
Go and see your face from mirror and then you will find out how "shitposter" looks like.  Grin

You have plagiarised one of your post and most probably you get banned. Because plagiarism is considered as serious offence in bitcointalk forum.

If there are new posts, then the Autobanned and Nuked flags should disappear.
Actually it isn't. Because I have already posted few posts, but your system doesn't recognized those. Posts, genaral information and security/moderator logs are still not updated.

Yes it does. The update button allows you to click to update your profile.
Oh yeah now it's updated  Smiley(btw I didn't press the update button)

244  Other / Meta / Re: Is Selling Bitcoin forum account even acceptable ? on: August 03, 2018, 12:34:50 PM
I dont see anything wrong in this.
You don't see anything wrong, because you're blind (or completely ignorant) to how scammers and shitposters use an account that's been ranked up.  Steamtyme has basically summarized why account sales are frowned upon here.  Using someone else's reputation and rank is deceiving, and in the past scammers have been known to leverage trust ratings to scam people out of money.  Imagine if a top-seller account on eBay had just been purchased.  The buyer of that account could easily leverage the account's reputation in order to get people to pay for items that don't exist.  That's exactly what happens in the case of bct accounts.

In addition, people buy accounts just for their rank, so that they can enter them into sig campaigns and start earning more money.  It's sickening.  A lot of DT members don't tag account sellers.  I happen to tag every one that comes to my attention, because I've seen to what end those sales can be put to.  I wish more DT members would tag account buyers & sellers, but everyone has to pick their battles.
Totally agreed and I would suggest that tagging is not enough since trust only shown in some boards(even it didn't show in Meta). So how about DT members add short description or badge(like copper member) under their usernames along with the tag, would be easy to recognize their posting behaviours and the exact reason for buying a BCT account.

Another great work by VOD and how do you find time to do this kind of things. I have banned(due to some misunderstanding) yesterday and unbanned today by "theymos", but still your data not updated and still shows that I'm auto-banned. My activity also not updating in your site. So is there any timeframe to update those details or those details are updating in real time? or if a person got banned, does the system got stopped for that user? VOD unban me from your webpage Wink
246  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Appeal from a Member [vphasitha01] on: August 03, 2018, 02:07:46 AM
Thanks for sharing. Yes, in fact, it seems like he plagiarize some parts from the medium article:
No I didn't but he, the author of the medium article exerpted the whole content of that video without mentioning the original source.

Quote
Anyway, that`s for the admins to determinate, but, yes, it seems like plagiarizing to me too, for he didn`t include the Medium article in his sources and actually the paragraph is identical.
Admin determined that I'm not the devil here and Theymos unbanned me. That means admins and staff still cares about good members. Because most of the  friends of mine told that you're not going to unban again wether you did or not what they claimed. But actually they all are wrong.

Again it is clearly not needed to cite a plagiarized article as a source where the Original source has been already cited!
247  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SMART CONTRACTS, simply explained... on: August 02, 2018, 06:57:00 AM
That's how it doesn't work actually, imo.

Are you an Admin to interpret why actually "bumps" introduced and how it's working in the forum Grin

New member who want to learn, will definitely find out what he/she needs. I found your thread on 2nd page, as far as I can remember.
Yeah for that part I totally agree with you. New member who want to learn, will definitely find out what he/she needs without making redundant posts with his/her delusional beliefs Cheesy

248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SMART CONTRACTS, simply explained... on: August 02, 2018, 02:28:13 AM
Bumps are allowed, in case. You can bump your post once every 24 hours. But that should be logical. For example, I have offered a service and didn't interact for 2 days. Of course, it will not be on the first page. I can bump my post for bringing it up.
I know how bumps should be done and what time interval. Where have you been mate all these days? Bumps are not only for servise threads. Even welsh(staff member) also used bumps for his "report effectively" thread. Oh no.. Welsh or other members don't know about how to be logical, LOL. You're giving false interpretation about the bumps for other members. Actually try to be post with facts, rather being just beat around the bush. Do you have some kind of urgency for getting merits? Because I'm not.

Quote
Bump= Bring up my post = Get attention   Grin
Get attention = New member can learn something that he missed

P.S.- you're the person here making redundend posts with your false interpretations and false assumptions. Do you have anything to add this thread about Smart Contracts? Because I'm more than happy to discuss and learn.
249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SMART CONTRACTS, simply explained... on: August 01, 2018, 06:30:21 PM
Friendly bump
Bump for someone get learning
Or,
Bump for earning merit
Merits are something that can't be earned by making bumps, bumps are not allowed, do I created a thread which already discussed or am I missing something?

Quote
I really appreciated your post because I learned something but didn't expect that you did it for having merits. Sorry, but yeah, it's the reality of your bump.
I'm more than satisfied even one member learn a something from my thread and you can't demotivate me or my works by just making some false accusations. Actually have you checked my posting history? I'm just a member( not a bump bot) who believes sharing of knowledge is the best way to learn. I just want to be interactive with other members, I think that's what you misunderstood with my bump which is nothing to with merits. I think you have no idea about how the merit system works. Members didn't give any merits for just making a bump.

Just for knowing, do you have any psychic powers? Cheesy

P.S.- I don't expect any merits for a  educational guide either, I do my part for making a spam free( less spam is actually good when considering to the current situation) forum. Do you?

250  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hardest to explain about crypto and bitcoin? on: August 01, 2018, 04:35:22 PM
Bitcoin primary value comes from due to it's censorship resistance or as a fact that peer- to- peer electronic cash system?

This is the question that I think hardest to give exact answer? (As far as my knowledge and it's just my thought only Wink)
251  Other / Meta / Re: Fake conversations - same users - on different ICOs on: August 01, 2018, 01:15:56 PM
I also think ColorlessK is the co-founder of bountyhive.io and no surprise, look at his Merit stats. That tells the story Cheesy. He got all the Merits from last 120 days only for the ANN threads. I called this is another way of Merit abuse.

BTW who is the other one?
Actually it's not really a Merit abuse. There are some people that instead of giving out their Merit to constructive and quality posts, they give it at nonsense ANN threads. But who knows?
So you mean there is no such a thing called Merit abuse, enlighten me? Because I always believed those "some people" that you mentioned are the major contributors to spammers/shitposters/underworld bounty freaks to rank up and do what they actually do with greater effect, clogging the threads with their bounty reports and bumping threads.

They can do whatever with their Merits. But if they couldn't find any constructive and quality post, so be it without giving oxygen to those shills.
252  Other / Meta / Re: Fake conversations - same users - on different ICOs on: August 01, 2018, 04:47:11 AM
who owns bountyhive?

253  Other / Meta / Re: Why this marked as "unhadled"? on: August 01, 2018, 02:50:14 AM
@OP try to edit the post and correct the word "unhadled" to unhandled, I had to read this post because I was trying to decipher the meaning of the word "unhadled".
Thanks for pointing out my mistake(we all are humans) and I corrected the word. I will lock the thread since I got my answers Smiley
254  Other / Meta / Re: Why this marked as "unhadled"? on: July 31, 2018, 07:17:36 PM
Thank you for bringing this very urgent matter to our attention. Ref links are truly one of the greatest evils on the forum and should be removed immediately without fail.
You really don't need to create a thread after your report hasn't been handled after five minutes.
I got your massage and I won't do it again. BTW I couldn't knowing about the CTRL -F feature in mod log( thanks to LoyceV) if I didn't create this thread. Let's see the Bright side Wink
255  Other / Meta / Re: Why this marked as "unhadled"? on: July 31, 2018, 07:01:31 PM
I think "unhandled" can also mean the post was deleted already before seeing your report.
Yeah now it's gone. But at the end of the day Mods didn't give the benefit of the doubt to the user who reported, but will be marked as bad Wink.
Can we add another word like "dab"(deleted already before you report) instead of "bad" for this kind of scenarios Cheesy
256  Other / Meta / Re: Why this marked as "unhadled"? on: July 31, 2018, 06:36:44 PM
well, because mods are busy and haven`t take a look already to the report. The "unhandled" number will decrease as soon as they take some action.
That's exactly what I'm highlighting. If refferel link involved in a report, mods are not looking at those reports and save it for another time. But other low value/spam posts like "Good project", "great project" are marked good within few minutes. What I'm thinking is those two scenarios to be considered as similer situations since both violate the forum rules. We can say it by just looking at ref link only. No rocket science for further study.

Sometimes those unhadled can be marked as bad as well. I have experience, that one of my report has been marked as bad.(actually it isn't bad)
257  Other / Meta / Why this marked as "unhandled"? on: July 31, 2018, 06:14:31 PM
I have found this j.member(junk member) spreading his/ her refferel link all over the boards and even bumping threads within the same day. I have reported  a post from this user. One of my report also still marked as unhadled which i believed the one of this user that I reported. This is the second time(one is already marked as bad by mistake of mods). When I'm reporting low value/ spam posts are marked as good within few minutes. Why the Mods are some kind of inactive mode when someone is reporting the posts which include refferel links. My believe is, it's clear cut case according to the forum moderation policy. So why unhandled Huh

Note : I always likes to see reports to be marked as good Wink since I got 99% accuracy.
258  Other / Meta / Re: [Security tips]Someone Just tried to reset my password on: July 30, 2018, 02:21:55 PM
So what would happened if someone wants to change their password by clicking the reset button with the separate IP location where IP was banned by bitcointalk forum. But the initial account registration has been done in a country where IP addresses were not banned by the forum. Do we need to reset the password within the IP addresses where that member got registered at the first place?

Because sometimes I heard some people are saying that reset thing ultimately endup being locked their profiles.
259  Other / Meta / Re: Difference between activity and posts? on: July 30, 2018, 02:02:58 PM
Hoping this will cleard your clouds regarding "activity" and "post" (if there is anything left after "boyptc" explanation) Smiley

Regarding the Activity points system >
Explanation:
  • After your registration you have 14 days cycles in which you can gain up to 14 Activity points.
  • Every post generates you 1 Activity point but in 14 days time span you can gain up to 14 Activity points even if you have more than 14 posts.
  • On the day 15 the cycle restarts and you can again collect your 14 points.
Interesting thing is if you have posts over the limit from the previous cycle, with the first comment in the new cycle you get the Activity points from the old posts you had in the previous cycle.
Example:  I had 28 Activity points and 33 comments before the end of the cycle, with my first post in the new cycle my Activity points went up to 34, the same amount as my posts.

Edit - Posts that you're posting on Ivory tower or serious discussion boards are didn't count as activity
260  Other / Meta / Re: Curious boy who want to know about merits on: July 30, 2018, 01:46:02 PM
before i get to this site bitcointalk.org i am an online job seeker that looks for a job and get paid easily, i am into a job called facebook commenteers that comments in a facebook post and get paid, 25 comments for 5 usd and i am happy about it,

And by this he teach me on how to enable posting and teach me also the basic thoughts and important rules but not all, and he also said to me about the ranking system and about merits, he is a jr.member same as me
Can you just tell me about your friend, j.member(junk member). So then I can put both of you to my ignore list.

Watch out the door when you're leaving. Cheesy
