Google had too much power, now it's much better, but they are still largest and they don't care about privacy much.
244  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Don't Mess with Messiahs on: July 11, 2014, 11:35:00 AM
They never cared, they never will and don't expect nothing to be changed. That is government, too rigid to be efficient.
245  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cant receive Bitcoins on: July 11, 2014, 11:32:59 AM
You will need at least like 0.001 BTC to be able to withdraw, i think that is the minimum. If you will feel better, go for a faucet, you will get 5000 Satoshi in no time.
246  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: USB Miners on: July 11, 2014, 11:30:52 AM
You will need at least 100 miners at 330MHs to get like less than 1$ per day, which is very low. They are not profitable anymore.
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 10, 2014, 09:10:15 PM
I just noticed the 1W MACD, after the last few bubbles, it would finally turn green then went back red for a week or two then once it broke green the second time the next bubble started. We have only gone green the first time since the last bubble. That may be holding back some TA strict whales. That doesn't necessarily mean it has to happen, as now I think the market participation is so big people will try to jump the gun and may keep the MACD from turning back red. All it would take is one whale to dump and make it red, but who would take the risk?

I think you are right with that, and MACD is clear, it should be red now but i guess we will have to wait for one more week for that to happen.
248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips on how to explain Bitcoin to a complete noob? on: July 10, 2014, 08:59:30 PM
I have the same problems when my friends ask me WTF is Bitcoin and i have problems to explain it. There should be easy to read guide to bitcoin out there. Videos are simply not enough in details (3 min video can't explain me much).
249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: USB Miners on: July 10, 2014, 08:57:21 PM
They are very slow, but they can be ok if you get them for fair price, which is really hard. Paying more than 1$ for a USB miner is waste of money. Note that you will need at least 100 of them to get some BTC out of it.

I am not familiar with those. What's the deal with cooling them and where do you plug 100 pieces? Some special device? How much does it cost?

he was a bit sarcastic, ironic, whatever Cheesy

has anyone tought of actually putting your mines in a refrigerator?

would that be harmful?

No that would be ok solution, but your refrigerator will not be able to cooldown that amount of energy. They are simply not efficient enough for that job. Even 3 kw AC has problems with cooling down a decent rig.

You need USB hub, where you can plug like 10 of those in at least and cooling is not big problem, since you can put Aluminum cooler on it, but you have to consider slow speed. On this difficulty you are getting less than 0.01$ per day out of one 330MH USB block erupter. Consider Buying Antminer rather, but be carefull with price. Make calculations first.

"send money to this address"

Paying 0.0000001 would give you the same chance as paying a few btc?

Do scammers even TRY these days?

Yes i guess that is not fair play there. You should have more chances if you pay more, but i guess that's OP to decide.
253  Other / Politics & Society / Re: StorJ undercutting the people and economic progress on: July 10, 2014, 08:45:52 PM
Well i think that is not a significant problem, you will never face serious problems from it. Never mind it will be fine.

256  Other / Off-topic / Re: best browser to use? on: July 10, 2014, 08:35:53 PM
Just keep away from IE and you will be fine. In this moment IE is the worst possible option. Use Firefox or chrome and you will be just fine. I prefer Chrome.

WTF is wrong with that guy, which turtle is aggresive? That guy should get some other job. Imagine him with a agresive guy, that guy would be dead meat for sure.
258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to convert PayPal to Bitcoin on: July 10, 2014, 06:22:57 PM
I don't think many/any sellers on LBC will accept paypal. There are just too many ways to get scammed.

I'm one of those sellers, sorry i don't want to accept payment that can be reversed, it's just stupid risking for nothing. If you have Paypal money, send it to your account and withdraw on ATM and give me the money in hand, simple.
259  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Death Toll Climbs As Israel Bombards Gaza on: July 10, 2014, 06:20:44 PM
I feel bad about every victim of crime, but i hate the most when there are kids included in those stats: "has climbed to at least 84, including a number of children". Thats just sick.
260  Other / Meta / Re: Activity on: July 10, 2014, 06:19:24 PM
Back in 2012 it was possible to get higher LVL with spamming , now you need activity, which is good, since it really shows who is active user for long period of time.
