241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is a good time on: March 28, 2020, 09:48:15 PM
Well the increase in people on the internet is immense, the way of searching for work on the net will also increase, and obviously Bitcoin searches have also increased, it is logical, people search and investigate, it is a good time for investment, It is known that under any fundamental, there are good opportunities to buy cheap. In these times of increase in services, especially the internet, its traffic is profitable for the market and bitcoin, the market may be recovering due to a small percentage of it.

This is exactly what I'm talking about! People will spend more time on the internet and they will look for jobs which they can do to earn money from their various houses. Considering this, I really believe that this is a really good time to let people know. Once they see how they can earn (bounty or investment) they'll want to try it since they have more time now at home. I don't know who's getting my point clearly.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Now is a good time on: March 28, 2020, 06:34:24 PM
Let's be honest here, Covid-19 has brought about a lot of changes which includes quarantine. And there's one thing I'm sure of; one of the people to make gain in this season are our service providers. I mean, everyone stays at home and there's probably an 80% probability that they would spend more time on the internet. Now, let's also think of this; don't you think that this is a good time to promote btc (online)? Imagine, most people presently are off their work desk and are surfing the net. I really think that this is a good time to promote btc online. If people hear more about it, it'll keep brightening the future of btc.
I have two questions for you. What have always hindered you from reaching out to people (online) and 2, would you agree with me and support the promotion of bitcoin in this season??

I wouldn't expect any member in the forum to fall for such. Though not so direct, the red warning on top of the message should be somehow enough to make any member aware of the possibility of getting scammed.

But what about those people that really are just learning about bitcoin? What about those that are venturing out of their confort zones and are looking for a place where knowledgeable community members discuss so they can see what bitcoin is all about? I wouldn't condemn a user just for being new, but the attitude and the content of what they're sharing, that's what's important to keep in mind. This guy you describe, absolutely, we don't need people like that. But come on we have to be welcoming of new blood, otherwise how are we supposed to reach bitcoin's true potential if we're turning people away just out of being new.

Sure! We need new members but.... Not such. I hold seminars, and help people who are zealous sign up here. But for such member.... No way.
245  Economy / Reputation / Don't fall for it! on: March 27, 2020, 09:50:44 PM
Some scams are just so obvious that I wonder how people still fall for it. The last time, it was a Chinese man, now this. It was 3 days ago when I was notified that I relieved a personal message from someone. Opening it, I saw what you see below. Even tho I knew it was scam, I went ahead to look up his profile (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2785208) and surprisingly, I noticed that he messaged me 35 minutes after singing up on this platform. Firstly, we don't need such people on here. Tho I know we can really control that, I wish there was a way. Secondly, it'll be stupid for someone to fall for something like this. Sorry for using that word but.... Must people just fall for it unnecessarily. Please and please, be careful with the people you meet online. Most of them aim at build your trust for them and then they hit and run. Don't trust anyone. This person may not be a scammed because of the amount of bitcoin he mentioned (quite small) but the point here is that we all should be careful with out bitcoins. Don't get too attached with people on here.

Wonderful! You art work is just lit! It looks like the bitcoin is coming out from the paper but I'm sure it's a flat paper.
I really enjoyed the poem. It tells a lot in it.
Let me drop some lines.

The world economy is crumbling
Some btc holders are grumbling
"Its a good time to buy" says a bitcoin analyst
As he shrugs and puts it first on his list!

Beautiful lines😍
Try to make something more out of it. You're obviously good at it. Don't forget to promote bitcoin and stay safe. Thanks for your contribution!
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It has been 365 days for me!! on: March 26, 2020, 12:09:16 PM
You look too late with knowing bitcointalk forum after many ICO failed and less bounty campaign worth with higher payment, I know with this forum at least 2016 before merit system and I got chance with many project from signature campaign until social media campaign, I remember with power ladger campaign give us more than 1 btc.

In the year 2016, I'm not even sure that I ever heard of the word bitcoin. I was actually in school trying to cram Boyle's Law 😅😅
So yes, I'm kind of late but I don't think I'm late cause when bitcoin hits 50k, how would you define those who join at that point? Irrespective of that, I'm trying to meet up.
Thanks for coming around.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Poetry on: March 25, 2020, 10:20:28 PM
This is cool. I really loved your lines as they compete (or won) mine. Since you said you got more coming, bring the best while coming. Don't rush it, don't force it, just let the creativity flow and they'll be credible. 😎

Edit:But it's quite strange to see that you haven't posted since October last year (except this post). Just saying.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It has been 365 days for me!! on: March 25, 2020, 10:11:51 PM
Keep going Chris, I did a little tour in your post history and I appreciate the exertion you're doing in promoting bitcoin like the simple explanation video you made about ways of promoting, it"s a short and funny one that makes you watch until the end. I would love to see a video briefly explaining what is bitcoin and blockchain technology in a funny way with the same guy playing with his invisible beard lol.

Thanks! You obviously enjoyed watching the video. Remember, the aim is the idea and message in the video.
Regarding making a video that explains bitcoin and blockchain, I'll put that to my to-do list; once I can, I will make it (even tho it takes time).
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It has been 365 days for me!! on: March 25, 2020, 06:03:08 PM
Happy birthday. The poem is really good and catchy, youre a passionate writer and some here couldnt make a very interesting post like what you did. Ive seen some of your post and to tell you, youre doing great, just continue posting and promoting bitcoin as you pleased. No wonder you can be promoted to higher rank soon. I wish we got more member like you. It does show that some knowledge we learned here can put into good unique poem. Also the art is cool. Looking forward for more OP. If this art goes in the art contest before, you can gain a lot of fans and even merits for a nice and catchy design.

Thanks a lot for the exaltation. I am actually a good writer (tho I'm not into poems). I'm pleased to hear that you found this interesting. I'm actually out of lines, I could have made a third prom cause this is literally my second one. PS: the first one wasn't worth it. 😁
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It has been 365 days for me!! on: March 25, 2020, 01:29:31 PM
I can sense a very strong passion in you to spread the good news. You sound so fresh and driven even after so many months of promoting Bitcoin. No amount of energy seems to have been lost in you. You've certainly been a great Bitcoin evangelist not only within this forum but also in your land. I can still remember you gathering ordinary people together in any possible way to try to introduce Bitcoin to them and make them understand it.

I hope you will continue with your incredible job. And stay safe.

Exactly! I don't feel wasted about promoting bitcoin. All I need is energy and time (which I have to sacrifice). Thanks for your encouragement. Please stay safe too.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It has been 365 days for me!! on: March 25, 2020, 11:54:29 AM
I appreciate your poem especially your artwork since I am very fond of creating painting and drawing. I've given you some merit just to show some appreciation. You did a great job.

It is sad that you missed a once in a blue moon Bitcointalk Anniversary that was held last year of November, and I think sharing your bitcoin drawing will be a good idea.

Furthermore, if you are planning to promote bitcoin to a large sum of people. It would be very beneficial to you to read and digest lots of information about bitcoin. Surprisingly, it reminds me of Andreas Autonopolous because of you who became so fond in bitcoin until he masters every bit of information and understand its complex nature and  becoming one of the most reputable bitcoin speaker in crypto space.

If you needed some of his books just ping me.

Thanks a lot for your support. Actually, I didn't miss the Bitcoin anniversary. It's just that I wasn't really inspired like now. I made an art there but it was wacky 😅😅. I wish I could take back the hand of time to create a lot but..... Let's patiently wait for the next time it'll come.

Regarding the book, I'd love to see 'em.
Thanks for your contribution. I'm thankful.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It has been 365 days for me!! on: March 25, 2020, 09:57:16 AM
I give merit too for you. I hope you can get success in the future, and still trying hard from now on to make more and more money Grin

I think the 3D art looks as professional. I think you can create another of BTC. I like the number one of the image Grin

I wish I can make a poem like you because that is hard for me to string the words like what you did.

Thank you.

Did you say professional? Thanks!! I am most grateful to hear that. I'm not an artist tho, it's been more than 2 years I drew 3D. This one took a lot of calculations tho. Thanks! I'm glad you liked it
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It has been 365 days for me!! on: March 25, 2020, 07:33:27 AM

you are one treasure of this forum and deserves to be merited(so i awarded you one) as your contribution in cryptocurrency is really appreciated.

I actually didn't know someone was backstage watching, and I'm honoured to know that you noticed my work. I'll keep doing more of what I do for as much as I can. I wish at least 70% of us here could do same. Thanks.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It has been 365 days for me!! on: March 25, 2020, 07:29:59 AM
The majority of people who are still rejecting btc is as a result of their lack of knowledge about it, maybe if they can allow themselves to get to understand it, they will warn up to the idea.

I concur to this. There's this saying that when we decided to believe what we want to believe, we limit ourselves from other things that could be there.
Most people have chosen to believe something negative and this limits them from knowing that there is a positive side. Most of them are just uninformed and all they need is the right information given in the right way. I hope they get it.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It has been 365 days for me!! on: March 25, 2020, 05:57:31 AM
A poem and 3D art... Nice party you make for this ^_^ Congrats fro that first Year. As you can see this forum has a great community, tons of people who is ready to help others and the best part, it's a great business opportunity for all the users.

So, congrats again for your first year, and keep pushing and someday you will become legendary.

Thanks a lot for the encouragement. I'm grateful. I'll keep contributing and will keep promoting BTCitcoin.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / It has been 365 days for me!! on: March 25, 2020, 01:18:05 AM
𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 happens to make it a complete 365 days (1 year) of me signing up on this forum, knowing about BTCitcoin and more. I remember how uninformed I was about BTCitcoin. I also remember the days I said that I didn't want anything to do with BTCitcoin. Nevertheless, here I am! 1 year of contribution on the platform. I feel glad to remember this very date, that moment I created my account, that evening I had to pay some fraction of BTCitcoins as evil fee (for an evil I didn't commit😅).
You know, paying the evil fee irrespective of the amount required is really worth it. Thank you everyone for having made this place interactive, and special thanks to the creator of BTCitcoin; Satoshi!
At least, I've been able to achieve and accomplish a lot because of BTCitcoin.
I'll keep contributing more and more both to the promotion of BTCitcoin and to this forum! ♥

Bitcoin; Not the average coin.
Coins as I grew up to know tend to rust,
They turn brown and form some dust
Playing with them, we misplaced them severally.
These coins had their value,
they don't worth much, mind you.
Then came someone by the name Satoshi
Tho he lives anonymously,
I guess an Asian.
With his intelligence and PC,
He created some that even the blind can see;
Bitcoin! Not the average coin
These coins were created to be virtual
Didn't worth much, in fact lower than the physical
It was worth 8 cents
And capable of being sent
All you need to receive yours is just a wallet address;
Long alpha-numeric characters which doesn't seem dressed.
As time flew by,
Bitcoin refused to die
With all the critics and scam accusations,
It was made to be on probation.
With time, this virtual coin tend to worth more
Increasing to a dollar, critics couldn't say more
And before they could say Jack-Robinson, it was worth hundreds of dollars and even more.
Remember, this is just a coin;
A virtual coin;
Bitcoin; Not the average coin.

Even tho its price dropped by some percentage,
It presently worths 6,000 dollars and more.
But note that it has attained an all time high of over 19,000 dollars?
Of course it did!; worthing more than it's creator could imagine.

After bitcoin surfaced,
Some other coins like Etheruem were found at the surface.
And from then till date,
Coins and tokens are created with an increasing rate
All of them try to float, survive the cold, and avoid death.
Bitcoin is Not the Average coin, even though it isn't the only coin out there.

258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to improve the usability of bitcoin? on: March 24, 2020, 11:10:03 PM
There is a speculative (investment) presence in the current bitcoin discussion scene. Only known and used by a few people.

If bitcoin really wants to become a universal currency payment system, how can we optimize the design for ease of use and make it easy for most people to get started easily and with low risk?

Hmm... 🤔
The only way in which it can be made for usage with low risk is risking what is small. Your time, your money, etc. Risk what you can. Don't spend the whole day on it. Just give out some hours. However, if it's about making transactions, building that would help bitcoin as some people can find the basic interface as a reason for getting into crypto.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did this guy just find the founder of Bitcoin? on: March 24, 2020, 10:55:11 PM
American??? 😲😲😲 I had always thought Satoshi was an Asian (tho I don't remember hearing it officially), but, is Satoshi actually am American? Or we all just define what we like? 😅
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this the best time to teach about bitcoin? on: March 24, 2020, 01:12:54 PM
Yes and No.

No because when you tell people about it now, they'll be like "Why would I want to listen to something that is crashing?" (even tho you and I know that the price will still come back up). Convincing them at this point can be very risky. They will feel more like it's a scam.

Yes because when you tell people about it, and they refused to listen to you. Somehow, those that listened to you and those that didn't listen to you will all observe the price as it'll go up. Leaving some of them with regret of not having listened. At this point, many people would want to research on such a digital currency that has such volatile nature.

One thing I am sure of is that the outbreak of this Corona virus has made a lot of people know about Bitcoin. Just as its price was slashed, people started hearing about it. Some people believe that it is finally going down (crashing), while some others find it as the best time to invest.

If you go through my last topics, you will notice that I have been holding seminars and promoting Bitcoin in several ways. But right now, I don't think it's a good time to hold seminars or meetups; unless they are held online.

Summarily, the answer to this question depends on the teacher/tutor/instructor who wants to tell people about Bitcoin.
