Some people have balls selling at these prices wish I had balls to risky for me . I sold my 1500 ltc last year when it kept falling to under a dollar then BANG up to $48 missed out on roughly £65000 not doing that again I'm holding even if it goes under a $ this time and still selling even tho master nodes payment system suzzed on testnet. I'm coming bk in a month can't watch lol

That's what I am thinking.  I am not expecting a rise or spike of any kind but with Evan's masternode payment announcement last night, I am surprised people are willing to let go of their coins at these prices.  If anything I would expect us to be going sideways waiting for RC3.

I have also thought about shorting but I always sell in the trough then buy on the peak haha.  Now I'm hanging on for the ride.

Just hold bro. Ride it out. It's hard when it's just a click on the phone tho. Sit tight

Hi all

Could someone please put my mind to rest. I downloaded darkcoin balance on my android phone and typed my wallet address in and its showing 247 coins out of over 1000 coins . All coins showing in my waalet ok . I know the darkcoin explorer not working at the moment just a bit concerned I have lost them with all the forks that's happened. Is there any way I can double check to see if they are there.

Thanks all great work loving this coin

Your wallet is actually made up of many addresses.¨

Read this thread for an explanation:

Thank you. Was starting to get a bit worried for a minute. Can't believe those fuders. No one getting my coins they are not going no where lol. Thanks all for setting my mind to rest.  Hope all goes well

Thanks all. For those who are intrested in the darkcoin balance app for android and are having the same trouble I found Why does my balance in Darkcoin Balance look lower than the balance shown in my wallet?

Darkcoin Balance examines the literal addresses you enter and reports the balances from theblockchain explorer. However, I have found that if I send coins from my QT wallet to an external address, the wallet can also shuffle some number of coins into an internal address. I've read that there are about 100 such addresses generated by the wallet for storing spare change.

Basically this means that if your balance in Darkcoin Balancelooks off, it is probably because some of your balance has been moved to a hidden address in your wallet - in my experience, as a result of an attempted send transaction. However, none of your coins have been lost.

You can find the hidden address(es) by following these instructions for the QT wallet:

Go to Help -> Debug Wallet in the Wallet menuClick on the Console tabThere should be a command prompt at the bottom of the window. Enter:listaddressgroupings and press RETURNIt should give you a list of addresses and balances - for example: [    [       ["XrXLBfbmGSLoU1biw7nnqbdyziJ9GSxV5A", 10.91900000],       ["Xxxas33JP8ri2G1TeAGNymqWvfYr1eY7aY", 1.79535900, "Purchases"]    ],    [       ["XfXsE4mmjFCfZ1gAcP8vLsjdYDucNTEAnE", 0.92520266, "Mining"]    ] ]                Notice that there is an address,XrXLBfbmGSLoU1biw7nnqbdyziJ9GSxV5Ain this case (yours will be different), that was created by the wallet without a label.Add that address into theDarkcoin Balance app. The balance shown should now match that shown in your Darkcoin QT wallet.

Because of this wallet behavior, I've found it more practical to useDarkcoin Balance with addresses from a wallet from which I don't do a lot of sending - e.g. the wallet that holds my mining address from a mining pool, or a buy-and-hold address that I use to withdraw from a currency exchange - as opposed to a wallet from which I'm doing active sending of funds.

Alternately, you could add all the hidden addresses to Darkcoin Balance as you discover them using the above techniqueWhy does my balance in Darkcoin Balance look lower than the balance shown in my wallet?

Wallet open fork DRK will never solve the problem

Huh? Sorry don't understand

Ignore that guy. Dont have a wallet to check it out will get one installed in a while. You sure the wallet has synced fully?

Any one else that used android wallet that can help this guy?

Hi thanks for your help. The wallet on my pc is all synced and I have kept up to date with all updates that have come out.  The app is to show balance of coins and value which it gets from my wallet address but only shows 247 coins . I have not used darksand yet so I think it should be only one address if I'm correct

I'm thinking the app is on the wrong block chain Huh

Based on your TA, what is your buy back in price? I have a few BTC loaded and ready to pick up some (hopefully) <0.02 DRKs.

LoL !  If only I knew.

It might not go down much at all from here - I might not get a chance to buy back in and I'm prepared to loose out considerably on the next rise.

On the other hand, if it does, it looks to me like the resistance is at 19, 15 and 10. I really don't see it going below 15 at an absolute minimum and it may just hover around 19 while a bit of profit taking goes on.

As I say, I left quite a bit in there because I'd like to be able to sleep at night either way and eat dinner with my family without crashing out to check the DRK price every 10 minutes and them thinking I need 'treatment'  Wink

you dont have to crash out to check:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/coin-ticker-bitcoin-litecoin/id636476147?mt=8

best ios app, supporting all major exchanges, tons of coins, your portfolio. I use it every 5 min when i m on the road

is there android version?

I m sure there are similar apps out there, just search "coin ticker", "altcoin ticker", "bitcoin ticker" on play store and it will show many results. Be cautious and read reviews, maybe you ll encounter malware hidden in the apps that could use your phone/tablet as a miner.

I use darkcoin widget just type darkcoin in the app store.

I use Bitcoin Checker.  You can choose your market (Mintpal, Cryptsy, Bitstamp, etc.) and choose the currency (DRK, other, other, etc.)

Is there any other site besides moolah that allows buying DRK?
It says registrations are currently disabled.

Or should I buy one BTC (can I buy 0.5 BTC instead?) and then exchange it for DRK?

Disclaimer: noob located in Europe with 0 coins of any cryptocurrency.
(missed the BTC boat, kind of late for the DRK boat)

Unless I missed something exchange sites only allow exchanges between cryptocurrencies.
I registered at mintpal but don't see any way to add/use my credit card to buy coins.

Thanks

You can buy fractions of BTC all the way out to 0.00000001 if you wanted.

EDIT: Mintpal doesn't allow fiat to crypto purchases.

Try bittylicious.com. I'm in the UK. Might work in Europe

Hi all
I have been in the background since pages 235 ish and have been a huge fan of dark coin . I have even convinced other people to invest in darkcoin to help and support . I do hope Evan is going  strong and well as we have not heard much from him. It would be great if we could get a UPDATE on how/what is going on . I have put so Much faith and hope in darkcoin and now I'm fealing a bit upset with what's Been going on. I am a holder but money is not everything would be nice to get everything going again and the support darkcoin deserves .

Thanks all

any help, my wallet is stuck at "blocks" : 74603,
tried with the new wallets no change, cant get past that block.

Same issue here... Anyone knows the solution?

crap... me too!

I'm stuck there too...

download the latest wallet
start it with -reindex, or delete everything EXCEPT your wallet.dat (hope you have a backup somewhere too, just in case), and have the new wallet sync.

9.4.8 or 10.8.8 version are the latest one.

Hi where can i download 10.8.8 from. The version from darkcoin.io is v0.10.7.3-unk-beta thanks Smiley

I think Evan and the team deserve all the money they get even if they are still holding the instamine which I'm sure there not but if so they deserve it great team loving the coin . They should be minted as they are very clever devs.  Just my thoughts Smiley
