241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum price will now go down again after reaching 3k? on: May 03, 2021, 08:19:37 AM
Yes its possible but if that happens it's going to be another dip or correction and that my friend is just another opportunity to buy more, BTC is over 50k and ETH still slugging around 2-3k? That's injustice lol, so undervalued if you ask me, ETH should be worth 5000$
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning to MetaMask users . on: May 03, 2021, 08:15:33 AM
It's plain stupidity, private keys are called Private keys for a reason, I don't know why people refuse to be smart this days, I've never click on any link for something I don't work for or something I'm not expecting, there is nothing that can make me share my private key with anybody....

Even if satoshi nakamoto is a well known person and he contact me through video call and I'm 100% sure it's him and he ask for my private key to my BTC wallet I will block him, it's as simple as that
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MacOS recommendations? on: May 02, 2021, 06:06:04 PM
Minerstat, Nicehash, HiveOS and others are available, just check their websites for macOS version and download but I recommend using a separate OS like HiveOS or simple mining OS, you can run from a USB stick by just plugging in the USB stick
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Virtually 10.000 coins out there. Where to find a mining overview? on: May 02, 2021, 06:01:47 PM
You need few numbers of mining calculator, there is no need trying to fish all available PoW coins out since majority of them aren't profitable, the most profitable to mine will always be the 1st on mining calculators

https://minerstat.com/hardware/nvidia-gtx-1660

https://www.betterhash.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-1660-mining-profitability-417.html

It depends on the GPU you possess, just use these websites for any GPU you have and the most profitable coin to mine will be revealed to you
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to buy litecoin instantly on: May 02, 2021, 05:58:56 PM
The easiest way is send money to someone else account and get LTC in return, how do you go about this? P2P platforms of cos, I recommend using binance exchange, If LTC isn't available get USDT instead and use the USDT to buy LTC, it's easy
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alternative coins to trade now on: May 01, 2021, 05:46:43 PM
Maybe this could help? I've find Neo and BNB to be the best alt for trading every day because they are more stable and less volatility unlike other altcoins, also Vechain is a good alternative too but still you have to know how to read charts
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some questions about the MetaMask wallet. on: May 01, 2021, 05:43:52 PM
Thanks.
Swapping vs Exchange? In the Freewallet, I can see an Exchange option.
If you are still somehow using this so called freewallet pls think twice before it's too late, I've been robbed by then before and I lost all my coins, I used to own many dogecoin until freewallet took them all from me, make sure you stick with crypto wallets that gives you private keys to your funds or recovery seed
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Metamask: What do you know about it? on: May 01, 2021, 05:40:25 PM
I got an information of Metamask crowdfund and launch of Token. How true is that?
Any link to back this up? I heard if metamask is ever  going to release their own token every metamask users might benefits from a airdrop so I've been using the wallet more than ever, I missed uniswap airdrop and others I don't plan on missing this
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My first Helium HNT Hotspot miner! 🎈 on: April 30, 2021, 06:20:22 PM
I don't know how this miner is been set up or configured but the team need to make it available on third-party stores just like how ASIC and GPU can be purchased anywhere else, it doesn't make sense to keep waiting and waiting

As far as I know, these devices are available in third-party stores. At least four different suppliers with links to their online stores can be found on the Helium official website, https://www.helium.com/store.

Everyone keeps pointing to link to buy this miners but the fact they keep excluding is that these miners aren't available in store right now, probably they sold out due to huge demand? Correct me if I'm wrong cos I want to buy three if these but no luck

I haven't checked to see the devices are currently available, but here are some links in case anyone is interested:
https://www.calchipconnect.com/products/rak-hotspot-miner
https://www.nebra.com/products/helium-indoor-hotspot-miner
https://www.nebra.com/products/helium-outdoor-hotspot-miner-gateway
https://www.bobcatminer.com/shopping
https://shop.syncrob.it/collections/all

The links to where to buy these miners aren't the problem, the main issue presently is that the miners aren't available in those store or link, check the picture below

They are always sold out everywhere
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: new asic ETH miners is coming. what should gpu miner do? on: April 30, 2021, 06:13:18 PM
You can either sell your GPUs right now while you still can for good money or be prepared for what's coming, ETH mining is now like gambling game, we don't know how things will workout
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is RTX 3070 amongst the best efficiency GPU to mine ETH? on: April 30, 2021, 06:11:08 PM
If you can get your hands on RTX 3060ti they make sense more than RTX3070 because their performance is the same but 3060ti use less power and more cooler when working, try staying in between most powerful cards and the weak cards if you don't want to deal with heats
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Phenom Mobile Crypto Application on: April 29, 2021, 07:17:51 AM
Mining coins with smartphone processor or GPU? How does this sound right to you? Whenever you come across any project claiming that users can mine their coins using their mobile phones it's a blunt lie, the only thing that's possible on phone is cloud mining or buying hash power to mine on pools
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long can this BULL run last?? on: April 29, 2021, 06:57:59 AM
Believe me this is going to be a wild long ride, bull market isn't going away any time soon and this will be the longest bull market in crypto history, anyways I believe that finally crypto adoption is happening, something we've all been hoping for
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: best usdt-trc20 wallet? on: April 29, 2021, 06:20:27 AM
I use mathwallet for anything Tron trc20 tokens but there are others like trust wallet and atomic wallet which are multi crypto wallet (all in one), it depends on which one you'd like to keep using so the choice is yours to make

1. Trust wallet
2. Mathwallet
3. Atomic wallet
4. Coinomi wallet
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Chia generating K32 plot file on 230-240GB SSD on: April 27, 2021, 03:34:03 PM
I believe that CPU capability and Ram speed plays a major role when mining chia or say plotting, your CPU have to be gen 9 or gen 10 if it's i series, if it's XEON build then even better, though some XEON are old, Ive ordered for a XEON build server since they have more cores and threads, also 128g ddr4 RAM onboard.

To plot it's better to use 1TB NVME SSD, though avoid running your OS on this ssd

If you are buying gear specifically for CHIA, try and buy a 2TB SSD / NVMe, you will squeeze 1 extra plot out (3 plots fit 1TB, but you can get 7 in 2TB)

ALSO, try and buy Enterprise / Datacentre level SSD / NVMe, the writes KILL drives. you use approx 1.6TBW per 100GB written. So to plot say a 10TB drive, you will use 160 TBW. Most consumer SSD don't have much more life than this. (Make sure to look at Mixed USE, not READ optimised)
I have also read that the enterprise drives have different priorities, so they can deliver the sustained read/writes much better, ie at full speed for the 8 hours needed to plot. My consumer drives even with heatsinks have massive peaks and troughs.

For ref with a Ryzen 1800x, 32GB ram, 1TB NVme, and 1TB SSD, (2 x 3 plots - staggered at 5 minute intervals) i can plot 1.2TB a day MAX.
Hope this helps
Hi, thanks for sharing some light on this, I would like to ask you what a enterprise drive is? A friend told me that server HDD are better because they are build to run 24/7 everyday, how true is this? Are you running your farm on server PC?

No worries.
Enterprise / server / Datacentre all similar - its all to do with their high endurance, and the way the handle simultaneous, multiple continuous read / writes, compared to consumer drives, which generally are optimised for highest performance for single user reads and occasional writes... (thing datacentre ssd, 100's of users all reading / writing at same time 24/7 - this is similar to the plotting usage)
Have a look here - https://chiadecentral.com/chia-blockchain-ssd-buying-guide/

This means that server is better for plotting, I'm still planning to build one with some money that I can risk because anything can happen this coin in future, I don't want to shed out thousands of dollars on this and end up with bad news
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which software to use to mining crypto currencies? on: April 27, 2021, 03:25:08 PM
Nicehash or minerstat looks like a good fit for you OP but if you want to maximize your earnings it's better to use miners with no interface like phoenix miner or NBminer and direct your power to a good pool, presently Viabtc pool is the most profitable, you can't change pool on nicehash
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Advice on the set up on: April 27, 2021, 03:21:50 PM
18x RTX2080ti in your living room is a bad idea, try building rig with RTX3080 or 3070, this will leave more room for space and better air flow, also energy efficiency if you paying for electricity bills but I'd warn you this isn't a good time to invest big money on gpus because they are way overpriced
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I’ve been robbed by Binance ! Never again will I use them on: April 26, 2021, 11:06:52 AM
If you lose funds somehow on binance the fault is completely yours mate, I've had past histories with binance even before the first hack happened, not a single person was robbed or cheated, binance exchange is the best I've ever known, anyways there are others that are as strong too

1. Gate.io
2. Kucoin
3. Huobi
4. Bitfinex
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is there any crypto regulatory exist? on: April 26, 2021, 11:04:04 AM
Is there any website or Organization where CryptoCurrenys register itself just to make sure that particular cryptocurrency is trustworthy? If no then I would love to get some tips that help me filter a real cryptocurrency and a fake one?
Few fundraising platforms have strict rules on new projects that plan to use their platform to raise funds, those kind of rules that can't make a project to rugpull or exit scam, do some research on polkadot's polkastarter
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Website to analyze signal channels on: April 26, 2021, 11:01:23 AM
There is none, don't waste your precious time looking for such website and if care isn't taken you will end up getting scammed or deceived, learn trading from scratch you can go on youtube and search for mango research, they are very good at trading and they have courses that are 100% genuine too
