341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: February 12, 2021, 04:41:17 PM
Escrow projects can turn to scam, the project team can decide to change smart contract after paying all bounty hunters the tokens, escrow doesn't guarantee anything, also most new projects don't have their tokens alive when bounties is ongoing, they tend to create token smart contract later so tell me how will escrow be done in such way?
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: February 12, 2021, 04:36:03 PM
Many good campaign manager before have retired from their job because they found many bounty campaign scam, delay payment and not have escrow for ICO and bounty campaign manager, so they try keep out reputation without manage with scam bounty campaign project, look now how many bounties campaign manager not trusted and we have not choose without joining with their rule exactly payment distribution, they try how to delay distribution and never give chance for us sell all coin and now sent payment few phase.

If that's true, then you haven't done their job right. A bounty manager should ensure that there is an escrow for the bounties. And if the tokens to spread have not yet been generated at the time of the campaign, other coins such as BTC and ETH must be made available as collateral.
Escrow discussion again, I would like to ask you about how many escrow bounties have you joined around 2020 till now? Because 98% of all bounty projects don't care about escrow and it doesn't stop them from paying bounty hunters either, the only bounty manager that takes escrow serious is bounty detective, others simply don't care
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: T-Rex miner rocks on: February 12, 2021, 04:33:05 PM
Not much difference from phoenix miner on my PC, though it may have something to do with windows OS versions and also Nvidia drivers too but I don't see any better miner than phoenix miner right now, it's just that T-Rex feels more stable than phoenix but difference isn't much
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Problem with nicehash and pools on: February 12, 2021, 04:29:54 PM
Nicehash pool is smooth right now  Cool way better than what it's been for months, guess what? I have been mining on the pool for 8 hours now and no single shares rejected, infact I get more accepted shares than before, the team have finally fixed the issue
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Ethereum official pool question on: February 11, 2021, 04:36:01 PM
Guys i know that every POW coins always have their very own official mining pool so the question is what is the official mining pool for ETHEREUM? Whenever I use calculators like Minerstat and whattomine I always see some like what's in the pic and I don't know what pool is that

346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 4x 1660 super or RTX3090 on: February 11, 2021, 04:25:19 PM
Hi peeps, I want to ask if this idea is good enough, I believe that a single RTX3090 can do what 4 pieces of gtx1660 super can do in hashrate power, the 4 gtx1660 super can give 120MH and a single RTX3090 can do 121MH per second so is it ok to go for the single card or the 4 pieces? Which one will you prefer and why?
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth it to mine doge? on: February 11, 2021, 04:08:52 PM
You can't use CPU or GPU to mine Doge coin this days, back in the days it was easier to mine these coins with a single pentium 4 CPU but now things have changed alot, mining difficulty have rise too so you will need a asic miner to get some DOGE
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some DEX which may bring Airdrop like Uniswap and 1inch in future! on: February 11, 2021, 03:57:37 PM
Metamask swap makes more sense out of the rest, if metamask brings their token to the table it will surely be well adopted, this is what I'm targeting right now, I will surely sacrifice my eth mining per day to pay for gas fee, I have a good feeling about this one
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Constant struggle with Radeon VII on: February 10, 2021, 06:35:42 AM
If you have a radeon VII gpu you need to be worry about the temp of that card because they are always hot, the best solution is to go liquid cooling, there are sets of liquid cooling that you can buy online and fix on your Radeon VII, this will keep the card alive longer
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How much time will a laptop last? RTX 3060 on: February 10, 2021, 06:33:05 AM
Downclock the gpu and always watch your temp, the laptop might last longer than expected, remember that when gaming on laptops the temp always go higher too, I don't see much difference in the stress of mining and the stress of gaming
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Asrock H100 Pro BTC+ no display on: February 10, 2021, 06:28:32 AM
You should return the motherboard if this isn't your first time to put motherboard together and start running, I've once bought a bad motherboard with all parts and after testing with extra parts form another pc I find out the motherboard is bad
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: February 06, 2021, 09:46:22 PM
The major problem is 99% of Ethereum Projects are tokens and now that eth gas fee is very high it won't make sense to get paid in tokens because there will be many who won't be able to sell due to their tokens to high gas, Ethereum network fee need to be fix or update
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin do you trust the most? on: February 06, 2021, 09:36:48 PM
I trust USDT and USDC because I can clearly see and read about the projects online, been centralized makes them more transparent to me, it's normal to doubt ,that that's what makes everything looks good, SEC was once on USDT but that don't works out in the end, Binance and other top Exchanges
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: February 06, 2021, 09:31:57 PM
Today is Feb 6th and we already have so many bounty projects in bounty section some are good and some are not, the truth is everyone is on their own, you need to make decisions yourself and if things don't work out the way you intended you have to keep trying, many scam projects are out there, make sure you don't get used and also visits scam accusation section often, some know their ways of bursting a scam project
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non successful projects find it hard to pay on: February 05, 2021, 02:59:48 PM
Non successful projects will definitely find it hard to pay and thats not their fault, not raising enough money to develop a project means game over, if you promote a project and it failed to achieve softcap it's better to forget such project cos everything will come to an halt, even if you get paid the tokens or coins will be worthless
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: minerstat: mining OS + ASIC monitoring + Windows mining on: February 05, 2021, 02:56:24 PM
Guys you really need to work on allowing two types of graphic cards to work on a single motherboard, I mean I can't use AMD and Nvidia cards in the same rig with Minerstat OS, that's pretty bad, why isn't this supported yet when other mining OS got the supported ?
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Single PSU 1600w for six 3070? on: February 05, 2021, 02:53:53 PM
Such power supplies have a margin of power output.
If your farm's consumption exceeds the rated power by 50 watts for a few minutes, then nothing will happen.
But this is a very expensive power supply, it was better to take 2 power supplies of 750-850 watts or a server power supply, because it is cheaper.

I use 2 mobos and 850 psu's

I build 3 or 4 card rigs.

Hi mining master, isn't two mobo equals more power draw? I think electricity is very very cheap in your country, is that UK or US? I mine with battery backup and I have to safe much energy as possible, I bet another extra mobo will even draw more energy, maybe another 60 watts for the mobo only?
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to run windows OS through USB for mining on: February 05, 2021, 02:18:11 PM
Are there anyone on here that have changed too my usb drives while running windows on them? May be I'm the only one? Or I just happen to buy so many cheap fake usb drive? If I have to drop an advice on this it's better to go for ssd storage
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: server motherboards for mining rigs on: February 04, 2021, 04:44:05 PM
It's second gen Xeon motherboard, it's good for mining, any motherboard that has pcie slots can be used for mining and the major reason why some people prefer old motherboard is to cut down the cost of investment, go for it and buy some risers too, you will need big power supply like 1200 watts and also 6x gpus should work on the motherboard
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I have $6000 to start mining, what should I buy? on: February 04, 2021, 04:24:14 PM
Is the money yours or your friends? Pls don't contribute money to buy miners and split money among yourselves, it's a stupid and unsafe idea, friends get greedy overtime and moreover it's lot safer if you mine coins in your garage without outsiders knowing what going on inside
