Question whats the CPU usage with these drivers without the dummy plugs attached?
|
|
|
He doesn't know how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop.
its take 3 Mhash/s ... everyone knows that
|
|
|
you do not need dummy plugs or CF bridges.
this is great news if it works well

The bigger the pool, the less time a block is found so ppl see a steadier rate of income (less variance)
It's weird, some days ago polls were balanced...
I think you need to take into account the recent DDoS attacks - BTCGuild is still done for example and I know that is a popular pool

Is this true? Is there anywhere we can view the current statistics? I thought DeepBit has had over 50% once before.

I agree with the post above it looks like a 650 watt power supply which probably isn't enough
And fans, you needs them

I don't know how much PCIe bandwith a miner takes up
the slot doesn't make any difference, you'll get the same hash rate on an x1 slot so its not that I agree you should remove the crossfire cable (you'll need a dummy plug though) ... but even with it on those speeds are off - you should be ~350+ with that card pretty easily You sure the first miner is set to [0-0] Cayman and the second is [0-1] Cayman in the drop-down? What power supply do you have?

bb,
You could just run more than one miner simultaneously, each with its own pool. Second miner will take over all your CPU/GPU resources while the first one will be waiting for a dead pool.
^ this... just open another miner with the same graphics card and set the -f flag higher than the first instance If your using GUIMiner this is pretty simple, the default is -f30 (unless you changed it) so just start your fallback miner with -f60

It's a none 69XX card OpenCL issue, hopefully it will get fixed sooner or later
There really is no way around it but if you open gpu-z first then start your miner it won't crash...
Although hitting any flash site whilst browsing will still lock it up

Would be interesting to hear some more experienced peoples responses.
I have the exact same card XFX 6950 (unlocked shaders mod only not full bios flash) and currently just using the Catalyst Control Center with 840/1250 and +5% on the power control setting gives me ~369 MHash/s consistently (well for the last 3 weeks its been that way)
Also I think that the video is a flash type thing as it does the exact same thing to me. If I don't check the link and it send me to youtube etc... it just freezes. Although it seems that I am still mining my computer is locked and requires a hard reboot.

All I can say (again) is that Bitcoin is a marathon not a sprint.

Just chiming in confirming Reikoku is a stand up guy
Placed a bet with him yesterday, good odds, great communication and quick payout after I won the bet

Assumed so just wanted to clarify

Welcome to the Bitcoin Lottery!
... the last character of the last transaction hash.
So how is it the people with 10-16 would win? Am I missing something because those are 2 characters...
