241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Just a thought about bounties and bounty managers on: December 02, 2019, 11:27:36 PM
It actually depends on the arrangement between the bounty manager and the team. Some projects bounty are distributed by the manager and sometimes managers are only responsible on keeping track and submitting the spread sheet to the team for distribution.

I still think its wrong. Whatever the arrangement is with the Project team. It only shows that the bounty manager is incapable and lacks eptitutde. Bounty0x has exhibited such ugly attitudes in the past and hunters hate them for it. Actually, they suffer distrust and credibility issues at the moment because hunters have lost confidence in them
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games on: December 02, 2019, 11:15:11 PM
Thinking yet? Let me help you.

You should start playing blockchain games, because:

1. In contrast to usual video games you owe products you bought for your game. And blockchain controls all the operations;
2. You don’t need to invest money to start earning;
3. You earn crypto;
4. It’s only in your hands. Nobody can influences your chances to win. It’s just you and your gaming skills: the better you play the more you earn (up to $3k);
5. There is trading too;
6. You have more possibilities to earn;
7. Competition is low. You can make a good profit just being professional;
8. DApps users number will be growing comparing to traders.

UPD

I've noticed a lot of people here want to know how to find blockchain games. That is why I've created product hunt collection with new blockchain games. Hope it will be useful for you  Cheesy

https://www.producthunt.com/@house_lama/collections/blockchain-games

UPD #2 there is a good blockchain shooter War Field. it’s 100% not scam so I can send it here. you can read details about this game here (I don’t send direct link to their website not to make them advertisement) https://gameunculus.io/blog/96

It might be really a good decision to check out blockchain games. I will do so after finishing my other tasks. It seems promising and to earn money while I am enjoying playing around? It might be too good to be true so, I expect that the possible amount of the profit is not that quite high. But, it will surely be interesting and entertaining.

Blockchain gaming is still at its infant stage but I feel not much is done towards its publicity. I am a gamer too but I hardly play blockchain games because I don't really fancy any or seen one to catch my interest. Maybe perhaps having one blockchain gaming company on top ten on coinmarketcap would speak more volume and publicity
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a question on: December 02, 2019, 11:08:09 PM
Can someone pls answer this question? presently the problem of decentralized exchange is liquidity and enough volume, if people start leaving cex for dex will the volume increase ? if Yes then what is stopping people? because dex exchanges is the perfect answer to stolen fund on exchanges and exchange scam exits

Brilliant question! I think the modalities or working principles of dexs are the usual turn off as well as the user interface. If this can be fuild to make it more attractive, users will frequent Dec's more assuming all your variables are constant
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Vitalik Buterin is killing Ethereum on: December 02, 2019, 09:15:54 PM
Comparing ETH with other pump and dump coin is just a mjob to me, cause I can see ETH with its slow and steady move winning the race compare to those that are just shilling and pumping their coin with a manipulating mind .

I dont see why a founder will want his project go down the rail or may be if you build yrs that is all you will be aiming to do as ETH has always be the best among alts and will always be in smart contract chain, just that first to come will always have some laps which those coming will look in to to beat the older and ETH has been trying it best too to remain the top and am sure its slow and stead will always win.

Well I wouldn't say he is purposely killing the project. But maybe he is making some wrong choices...

The perspective we see these things will definitely suggest vitalik is killing eth blockchain because of its slow pace towards development. But generally, I don't see his opponents or competitors doing much either. From Stellar to icon, eos and neo. As a matter of fact, ethereum remains the most bankable of these lots and I think we should give the project time as they work hard to deliver more blockchain promises
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: December 01, 2019, 07:15:45 PM
Bounty hunters are smarter, pay close attention to scam projects where there are very few hunters involved because they know they will not be rewarded. Hunters were smarter in selecting the project they would be involved in. Hunters now have better vision than hunters in previous years.

I have a friend that hardly does a scam project campaigns because of his meticulous research methodology. Most times I employ his methods and it has not failed me. 60 percent of the time I spend on cryptocurrency now is on blog sites reading and improving my knowledge of cryptocurrency. Currently, my materials on trading is ready and I will start it by early 2020
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The only one way to always get your tokens after bounty ends on: December 01, 2019, 06:35:07 PM
Everybody is complaining about bounty projects that failed to pay bounty hunters after bounty ends, these projects are not fake and they are trading with good volume on exchanges, they intentionally ignore hunters, there are few others that pays half of the bounty hunters and forget the rest, i feel your pain and anger but i think you should consider my thought, follow good bounty managers on this forum and you will always get paid, among good bounty managers i 100% trust arteezy and bubbalex, i don't know how they always do it but hunters always get paid, seem they take their job very serious, most projects that don't pay hunters are from new bounty managers or self managed by the project teams.

Do make sure you do your research though, sometimes not all projects from good bounty managers are legit.

The market is not regulated. So obviously you are on your own when shit hits the fan. It is your sole responsibility to search the authenticity of every project you choose to indulge with as well as the team reputation. That is why I consider the crypto term DYOR as equally important and popular as HODL.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is going to be slower ? on: December 01, 2019, 05:57:15 PM
Yes, IEO will definitely be slower because of the scams and low reward investors do get after investing with huge funds and they end up getting a dumped coins from project owners and Exchanges. So IEO is going down as it is. Fake platforms are bigger than good platforms and it's beyond repair unless regation comes in.
In my opinion, you misled the ICO with IEO. The scam attempts in the IEOs are the lowest level and the big exchanges never accept the token sales deals from the suspicious projects. The slowing down process is actually due to the low participation rate by the project investors and the long bear market.

You are more correct. IEOs are more safer and investors don't really have to worry anymore in processes of project funding and collection due to the involvement of these reputable exchanges. The worry Ia truly the prolonged bear market which its effects catches up on our asset prices and cause damaging dip. This I think is tiring from my practical perspective
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IDAX Crypto Exchange Confirms CEO Dissappearance with Cold Wallet Keys on: December 01, 2019, 04:35:49 PM
This is exactly why I think this cryptocurrency space should be regulated as soon as possible. Startup developers, exchange owners and investors as well should be made more responsible. I am so sure that if there were to be serious Jail consequences for such actions played by the IDAX CEO, this ugly incident would never have happened
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $16M in Stolen Ethereum from Upbit Were Just Transferred on: December 01, 2019, 04:30:10 PM
Maybe this is one of the reasons why Ethereum prices have decreased very significantly. the question is, how could Ethereum be stolen so much in the amount of money?

Like always, inside job. They took the coins they can spend on anything, free from tax, and they will accuse some anonymous hackers, end of story. I think its similar with all previous exchange hacks, how can someone crack cold wallet? Someone from the team was involved, if not majority of the team.
I doubt we will hear more from this, except rumors and fud, facts and truth always stay buried. Cause this is not the first time that exchange gets hacked, and be sure this isn't the last time we hear about it. This could just be one of those situation where people can learn from, don't hold your money on exchange.

I have heard such theory before that these exchanges purposely hack themselves to evade tax just like Coinbene did. But I doubt its possibly true concerning the situation around it. But I have certainly started have a second thoughts regarding these exchange hacks because if these exchanges can be dubious with dealings within their exchange, they can as well organise fake hacks
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: November 25, 2019, 08:04:54 PM
Few of my colleagues told me they quit bounty because many new projects are finding it very difficult to reach soft cap and those who manages to reach softcap ends up listing on ridiculous exchanges because of listing fee, a part of me feels like they are right because if a new project fails to aim for top exchange its game over,  the question now is why promoting new projects then?

The fact that cryptocurrency boom is way beyond its best moments as witnessed in 2017 or that cryptocurrency projects don't pay much anymore for airdrop and bounty hunters is not a requisite to stop promoting legit and profitable projects that may arise. Your friends should spend more time on research and on how to identify good projects because I still see some of them launch monthly. One of such good project is Alchemy which is a hybrid point of sales payment platform whose services are duly employed by stores such as Pricerite in Hongkong

251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking answers can help on: November 25, 2019, 07:38:33 PM
The problem with most of these newbies is that they want to have their $1 turns $1000 in a week and this don't end well, we have all heard about a story of people investing so and so amount of money in a project and make 100X, but the issue with most of them is that they don't know that there is no free meal anywhere
The biggest problem is that they are given incomplete information, it is true that those that invested in bitcoin when it was really cheap have gotten profits like that, but what they are not told are all the very special circumstances in which this happened, bitcoin is the best coin in this market so very few coins can give profits like that, also the time it will take for a coin to give those kind of profits cannot be measured in weeks but in years or even decades.

Finally all of those that want to obtain those kind of results do not have any knowledge about how to invest in any market and yet they want to become rich very quickly and we know the chances of that are very low.

Apart from the Incomplete information doled out. Newbies are largely affected by impatience and inability to seek knowledge. They see cryptocurrency as a get rich quick scheme because of juicy stories their friends passed to them. And these uninformed cryptocurrency enthusiast make up the majority of the numbers.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: November 25, 2019, 01:34:02 AM
I just find out that some coins might start with very low volume and marketcap and end up growing big? true or false? i tracked back some old coins that start with trading volume around 6k and end up in millions, is this still possible today?
Anything can still happen in the cryptocurrency world and it is true that some coins start with small trading volumes and continue to grow into large ones. But I think it should also be noted how the coin can survive in cryptocurrency and continue to develop what it brings so that it can increase over time.

With view to today's market, It's still very much possible but with lower probability because of the saturation of the market with numerous projects who now make it more difficult to sift through the market for quality stuffs. I think Egretia, Sero, Vsys and some projects on ZB exchange did incrediblly well this year but as usual, it doesn't last
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Liquidity rating makes lotta sense on: November 25, 2019, 12:43:09 AM
Thanks to coinmarketcap for taking the huge step of rating crypto exchanges based on liquidity, now atleast i will some developers will start picking exchanges to list their token based on liquidity ratings, if you check the link down below

https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/liquidity/?utm_source=coinmarketcap&utm_content=alert

You will see that exchanges like idax, p2pb2b and bitforex are way down on the ranking list compare to when exchanges are been rated with volumes, well exchanges with fake volumes can't have liquidity because they aren't real, now its left for developers, project teams to be smart

Just the very way cryptocurrency enthusiasts want it. Its time to separate the seeds from the chaffs and thankfully coinmarketcap.com has helped us in this regards. Many times exchanges like Latoken, Hotbit and P2Pb2b exchanges has ranked top based on adjusted volume manipulated by wash trading but now we can look through the liquidity table and get a clearer decision
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current news in China is just a fud or something more? on: November 24, 2019, 11:05:32 PM
I saw many posts regarding the recent China news or police raid fact. Nothing is real in that case? What's the thing Chinese Gov is going to do in next? Sometime, it seems to me that the Gov is with blockchain, sometimes, they aren't. Feeling confused.

Since China ventured into cryptocurrency officially they have been doing ton of work to crack down on illicit cryptocurrency centers. Its a good thing they are doing but it looks like they are intentionally carrying out the job to cause more fud which is quite relatable since they don't even rate bitcoin above Neo.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: don't rely on gift tokens, balance your time with other things. on: November 24, 2019, 10:59:57 PM
don't rely on gift tokens because that will only bore you and not to mention you have to wait for them to be listed on the exchange or at least until they have a sale price to make up for your hard work.
I suggest balancing your time with other things you can do in this market and I think there are many ways to make a profit besides a prize campaign. I say this because I also feel bored with them and what I produce from gift tokens does not produce sweet fruit.
at this time I balance with trading, how about you?
You are simply referring to bounty projects right? well its pretty hard to make good money out of bounties this year and only very few projects bring profits for bounty hunters, but still i don't see any safer way to make money in crypto now, trading is about gain and lose if you are not ready for that you should stay away

This year seems less good for bounty hunters because of the unfavorable market conditions besides the number of scam projects. Many tokens whose prices fall quite deep after the initial listing and the value of tokens obtained by hunters becomes small. Trading can be an alternative if you want to make a profit but you must have knowledge of technical analysis so as not to lose money

I think the bad market condition is generally felt by all and sundry not just the bounty hunters. Traders and IEO investors felt the brush. Airdrop and Bounty hunters just have to manage their expectations and expect less. If they want more more money, they can focus on content creation paid in stable coin
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best investment in crypto since 2018 on: November 21, 2019, 10:14:01 PM
Hello Bitcointalkers,
What is your best investment in the crypto space since 2018? As the 2019 year is ending, so, we can have a discussion about it. For me, my best investment was the Counting House ICO in 2018. The sale price was 1100 CHT token for 1 Ethereum and later it's price hit more than 3 USD per coin. I am still finding a project like Counting House, but haven't seen yet.

I remember Counting House. I didn't invest but had the opportunity to write content for it under Amazix campaign. It was an indeed a wonderful project. However, my best 2018 project was nothing. It was my worst year in cryptocurrency actually. It almost made me loose hope in cryptocurrency until I invested in Harmony and reaped x5 interest on my capital.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Releasing an ‘Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself’ Token on: November 21, 2019, 09:58:40 PM
Any guesses to what these might be worth?

The last time I checked, you cant buy a decent pizza with 100000 whacked token and the reasons are not far fetched for me because people don't take Mcfee seriously anymore and furthermore, deflationary tokens have lost their hype
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a Developer To Take Over a Dead Project on: November 21, 2019, 09:33:40 PM
Wow thanks to everyone and their replies, I didn't know it was going to be such a good turn out. Anyways i thought about starting a new project but none the less i will probably opt out of it at this point in time so i may gain some more experience. None the less there are lots of projects that need attention with good active communities and some already on viable exchanges i think it would be easier actually to revive an old project than to start a new one. Just to throw a name out there I don't know if anyone remembers Drip Coin endorsed by musicians etc etc that coin had lots of hype with credible technology and now its seemingly dead. These are the type of projects that i think would still have a fighting chance if the community or a dedicated team works on them.

I like your modesty and approach and I wished I could help but sadly there's hardly no or little market for dead proje ts because firstly, creating smart contracts is now cheap and basically the needed tech too. Secondly, you will put in almost same effort in marketing and branding so why not expend that effort entirely on a new project (the dev would think)

This is one of the best advice you can give to full time airdrop and bounty hunters. Crypto bounty hunting is best regarded as a side gig including trading as well because frankly, you can't really plan a livelihood on it. The crypto fortune has a sinusoidal wave so it's best to back it up offline or online with some other steady jobs with more guarantee. I learned this after the 2017 bull crash and I have been living fine since then
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs Worldwide Hit New Milestone, Surpassing 6,000 on: November 18, 2019, 10:21:49 PM
I think its only but a matter of time before cryptocurrency becomes adopted across the world. Its evident that governments, institutions, educational bodies, health sector, banking and so on are adjusting positively to align with crypto and blockchain. One day, it might just be 600,000 bitcoin ATMs installed worldwide.
