also it need libboost 1.54 instead of 1.55? how can it run on my pc if i have boost 1.55?
what is db version needed?

may need to install 1.54 as linux requires library match; db is 5.1. Which linux version you're using, option is I compile a wallet for the system you're using, that way you won't need to change libraries that may cause dependency issues.

using ubuntu 14 atm

Any promotion plans ? The most talking is miner, and miner, still miner.
I know that's very important, but we need to attract more investors too.

+1

Though I would add that other than "miner, and miner, still miner", we also need more "pools, and pools, still pools"  Wink
As an investor, I would be concerned to see that all the nethash is concentrated on a single pool (1GH).

~ Myagui

seem they dont have any such plan, including pools...
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient Proof of HDD Capacity Mining | No IPO, No Pre on: August 14, 2014, 05:33:55 AM
im new to this coin, just get deamon running, now on on the mining side, what will i need to put on the start_splot end_splot if i have 2x512GB SSD drive?
Thank
1966080 is about 480GB, so you might want to do 0 1966080 for the first, then 2000000 1966080 for the second

so if i want it to run who 2x512 then just 0-1966080 ?

... which means game over for the coin. All the coins of the world worth nothing if noone wants them.

yeah you got a point...

Cool. However, doesn't seem to work on EC2 GPU instance (GRID K520). minerd gives error:

Code:
GPUassert: invalid device ordinal trashminer.cu 370

I guess it should be expected since it is supposed to work with 700 series of cards.

Can you post the build instruction for cuda on linux?
