241  Economy / Reputation / Re: Users who spread false/fake/unhelpful information on technical board on: May 02, 2024, 03:22:37 AM
You misunderstood. You're relying on an AI to say my explanation is written with chatgpt. It is not fair to blame anyone depending on AI because AI may not be 100% accurate.

I looked through some of your other posts and it appears you are using some kind of text spinner or other program to write your posts for you, and then manually tweaking them slightly so as to avoid being detected. Furthermore, I strongly believe you created this account for the purpose of cheating contests (as well as getting into some kind of shitty sig or review campaign). Hard to say who your main account is but I'm sure you have more than one and am in the process of narrowing them down.
242  Economy / Reputation / Re: Users who spread false/fake/unhelpful information on technical board on: May 02, 2024, 02:23:01 AM

Wow, you used ChatGPT to counter the failures of using ChatGPT that were just pointed out to you. Simply stunning!

You really shouldn't be here at all -- its obvious you're trying to rank up an account for the purpose of getting in some kind of sig campaign, but you'll never get there if you lack the ability to generate any kind of original thought.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MemoryDealers aka Roger Ver Arrested! on: May 01, 2024, 12:18:47 PM
The US authorities have detained both Samourai developers and Roger Ver within a single week.  Some might see this as mere coincidence, but I believe it sends a clear message.  The state is officially declaring a war on cryptocurrencies.  Expect further arrests in the future.

The DoJ has kicked the hornet's nest, and the swarm is headed towards us.

Nope, his arrest has nothing to do with the state of bitcoin whatsoever. It has to do with him thinking he could avoid corporation tax by obtaining income in denominations of bitcoin.

https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2024/04/30/roger-ver-indicted-for-tax-fraud/
Quote
"Even though Ver was not then a U.S. citizen, he was still legally required to report to the IRS and pay tax on certain distributions such as dividends from MemoryDealers and Agilestar, which were U.S. corporations," said the DOJ."

I'm not a fan of taxes or fuckery like an "exit tax" but please let's stop introducing "us vs. them" paranoia unnecessarily. We've already been dealing with it for over a decade now.

We live in a clown world where you can be a citizen of another country and the US can get you arrested and extradited there. They can also imprison you for alleged crimes committed against its monetary policy which is another joke of a law.

If they have some kind of extradition policy/treaty in place, which means its a 2-way street. America would send a wanted Spaniard back to Spain if they were asked politely.

There clearly is a DoJ-wide mandate to target crypto

Is Ver really an influential/credible figure in the world of crypto anymore, though? I'd argue not.

He's a free-thinker and a freedom-lover, somebody who recognizes that something is terribly wrong with the world, and wants to do something about it.

I personally don't think Bitcoin Cash helped the world in any way, but kudos to you for looking for the positives.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has Satoshi's identity never been revealed ? on: May 01, 2024, 11:34:02 AM
This is exactly why ChatGPT copy/pasters should be banned from the forum:

They were able to develop Bitcoin, a groundbreaking technology, which suggests a deep understanding of anonymity and privacy-enhancing techniques.

Uh, no it does not. The blockchain is a public ledger and doesn't necessarily have anything to do with anonymity.

5. Community Respect for Anonymity: The Bitcoin community has generally respected Satoshi's wish for anonymity. Despite curiosity about their identity, there has been little concerted effort within the community to unveil it.

Hah. Members of this forum have spent a combined hundreds or even thousands of hours investigating who Satoshi is or might be.

It's important to note that while Satoshi's identity remains unknown,

It's also important to note that any post that ends with the phrase "It's important to note" in the last paragraph means that the post was written by ChatGPT.
245  Other / Meta / Re: Top reporters on: May 01, 2024, 11:16:18 AM
People who report bad posts are the unsung heroes of this forum
That's why the idea of reporter badge images is almost 6 years old. How time flies!

I still like the idea, and of the badge being optional. I'm not sure I would even qualify for one, but to wear the badge "with pride" just seems like something that this guy would be doing:

Frankly I don't know why I bother doing the reports, other than it gives me a personal satisfaction to see absolutely shitty posts get deleted. Bonus satisfaction points if they would have counted toward that week's sig campaign payment.
246  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: May 01, 2024, 03:53:12 AM
First time to post here:

...

Hivemoderation 99.9% likely to contain AI Generated Text
Copyleaks AI Content Detected
Sapling.ai Fake: 100%

You're right about this, but next time be sure to quote the original post, so that way we can see if it was deleted or not. And also its better if you post at least 3 examples of AI use per user -- that helps to establish a pattern that this person is habitually using ChatGPT or whatever (I'd venture to guess 99% of users mentioned in this thread are using ChatGPT). Thanks.

For a good example, check out the post immediately above yours by lovesmayfamilis -- all 3 posts they reported have already been deleted.
247  Economy / Reputation / Re: Jollygood is a person who feels great, even though he is just a narcissistic on: May 01, 2024, 03:24:26 AM
Regarding the true story that happened to me, komisariatku has explained many things. Believe it or not, it's your right. Moreover, negative tags don't limit me in discussing, because I like discussing so it is not a serious problem.

He is a controversial figure indeed but at this point in time I feel the positive contributions he added to the forum via his feedbacks outweigh the negatives, so he will remain in my trust list. Yes, you're still free to discuss what you want, nobody is going to argue with you about that.

Why so many colors? Hmm, I remember that many people did not like colored text and attacked me when I used it. So colored text looks very useful to me.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5489235.0

You really think I'm the one that choses "so many colors" for LoyceV's forum tool?

Or you're just complaining about the use of non-black text? You should clone Loyce's site and change the text to black or some shade of gray, surely that would solve this very important problem.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Shitcoin 3.0 - First Parody Token on the First Parody Blockchain! on: May 01, 2024, 03:15:58 AM
A few more amazing SHITCOIN dispenses over the last few days:

Only ~1.77M SHITCOINs remain in our original dispenser.

One dude managed to buy up an entire 1.1% of the supply. Seeing as how about half the supply is out of circulation, its closer to 2.2%.

ShitcoinDAO is coming along. We are now up to 13 verified members. Follow us on Twitter (not X, no one calls it "X") for all the latest shitty news.

249  Economy / Reputation / Re: Jollygood is a person who feels great, even though he is just a narcissistic on: April 30, 2024, 03:10:53 AM
do you think Jolly's actions are correct and should be used as an example by other members?

Not always, no. But he was spot on when it came to his neutral feedback on you, the 1st left by anybody:

JollyGood    2023-07-05    Reference    This "PytagoraZ" account was created less than a month ago but seems to know a lot about the forum and members. I suspect a farm/alt-account trying to increase rank as fast as possible probably for signature campaign enrolment.

This feedback will be edited after his motivations become known.

I don't think there is anything that needs to be explained further because there is already an explanation in your thread about what actually happened between me and komisariatku.

An explanation that nobody believes.

Our relationship has also improved and I have compensated for the losses caused by my mistakes.

Congratulations

I don't hate you and you are still on my trust list even though you don't trust me.

Good. I don't hate you either; I don't hate anyone on this forum - there's nothing here that's worth getting that upset over - but anyone who lands on my distrust list does so for a reason.

251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has Satoshi's identity never been revealed ? on: April 29, 2024, 02:42:22 AM
And I would not say that TOR nodes are easily monitored. Otherwise every illegal Dark Web website would be seized by now. The ones that do get seized are because of bad OPSEC in what feels like 99% of the cases.

Yep, there is usually some slip up - no matter how minute - that brings them down. I remember when AlphaBay came back under DeSnake, who was a co-admin of the first AlphaBay, he said he believed that Alexandre Cazes - the founder of AB - was uncovered as a result of "illegal spying" practices and that the government engaged in "parallel construction" of a case that supported their discoveries as a result of the spying. Like, they said they discovered who he was in one way but actually they had "illegally" mined Google or Hotmail data or whatever to figure out who he was.

I just assume the government knows who I am and what I'm doing all the time, and just try not to do things that they might care so much about. Usually what they do care about involves massive amounts of untaxed money, so I'm pretty safe in that regard.

Ooh... Good job FeeBuddy, thanks for the good news. Fees coming back down to earth already. Perhaps the combined madness of the halvening, Ordinals, BRC-20 and now Runes is now coming to an end... Funny how there was a rush for people to inscribe pointless shit in the halving block... utter rektitude for a degen niche already on the fringe of rektness.

253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has Satoshi's identity never been revealed ? on: April 28, 2024, 10:45:18 AM
Stop spreading this lie. TOR with default settings doesn't protect anyone from anything. TOR nodes can be easily monitored for traffic, thus de-anonymizing anyone who hasn't set up TOR correctly.

We need to move away from .onion routing and use I2P.

You are aware that everyone who uses I2P has their IP address displayed to all users of the network, right? I'm not sure its actually better than TOR in that regard.

The answer seems obvious to me. Bitcoin was created as an experiment, and to exploit the creativity of the creative programmers. It was given to us with various caps and restrictions to prevent it ever becoming the dominant payment service in the world. The creators were the central banks and financial elite, and they kept back a million Bitcoin as a security for future manipulation and control, or maybe it was just an investment. The project has been massively successful, and is now being used by the financial organisations for their own purposes. We are lucky to be riding on the tail of this success, and will be able to reap the benefits as it starts to find  its planned level.

As far as conspiracy theories go, this is probably one of the better ones I ever heard.

Additionally, TOR itself was created by the government, as was SHA-2, so its not entirely a far fetched idea to think that Bitcoin itself is also a product of the government.
254  Other / Meta / Re: LoyceV's Weekly Trust list overview in Human Readable Format on: April 28, 2024, 09:16:37 AM
Sorry for the delay, something failed and it's Kingsday so I couldn't quickly fix it.

You really are an absolute machine when it comes to keeping this list up (along with your other weekly/monthly lists)... After 5.3 years, not one week where you were too sick, too on vacation or on a honeymoon to crank these lists out. Maybe you are some kind of advanced AI after all  Cheesy  or a team of people working at the NSA  Lips sealed

I do enjoy reading them... Its not exactly a "tabloid" section of the forum, but there's often stuff in your lists that makes people think to themselves "oooh, I can't believe so and so did this or that to so and so."

Because you have 60 DT1 trust list inclusions, what is the possibility of you being able to perform a 51% attack on the DT1 network, and what would it consist of?

Anyway, hats off, LoyceV, you deserve kudos, whoever or whatever you are.
255  Economy / Reputation / Re: Jollygood is a person who feels great, even though he is just a narcissistic on: April 28, 2024, 09:08:05 AM
By the way, in your new account, don’t be so noticeable so as not to arouse Jolly’s suspicion, as happened with this account.
Although I'm sorry about what happened to you.

Alt account? Good advice, I don't have any at the moment. but maybe one day I will have it. lol

C'mon man, give it up. Its so completely obvious what happened with your komisariatku account. You (he) posted as komisariatku not just once but twice on accident, and you even told shasan that the accounts didn't know each other. LOL. I do not think you're in any type of position to call anyone a narcissist given how brazen (and annoying) you were as a "newbie," and as you refuse to admit you got caught slippin. That's a classic sign of a narcissist: the inability to admit when one was wrong.

Next time (and I have no doubt you've started a new account already), try to be more humble, and don't interject yourself in reputational matters that don't concern you... That's a dead giveaway that a newbie is an alt... Among other things, which I won't disclose as they are "proprietary trade secrets."
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Important reminders on: April 28, 2024, 08:57:00 AM
PS: staying mad isn't going to change anything.
I agree with you staying mad will not change anything rather it will keep you in the same position so is better to embrace the new evolution in other to benefit from it.
Complaining and arguing about a particular system won't change anything.
A lot of people prefer complaining and arguing about a particular system than trying to make a difference.

What we can do if people want to be proactive about it is go out there into the battlefield on Twitter (where most action on the subject is taking place these days) and remind people just how dumb Runes is, because its already been done for 10 years, yet a lot of it "claim to fame" comes from "introducing the first fungible shittokens on Bitcoin", which actually goes all the way back to 2013 with Mastercoin (Omni).

For example, this was - somewhat surprisingly - the most popular tweet I've had in a while:

The amount of bullshit getting hurled around is just personally insulting to me as I've been making this kind of stuff on Counterparty for nearly 10 years now. Just nobody cared b/c:

1) The time wasn't right, and
2) I don't have a well-oiled marketing machine behind me.

But yeah, just us complaining to each other on Bitcointalk about it affects no one, because Ordinals & Runes people (for the most part) don't really come here.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈 The United Football League (UFL) 2024 Thread 🏈 on: April 28, 2024, 08:45:56 AM
The inaugural UFL season is now halfway over (minus 2 games to be played today):

I watched a good chunk of the Birmingham Stallions (5-0) vs. Houston Roughnecks (1-4) game today, and its clear that the Stallions are a cut above the other 7 teams. If there's action to be taken on any of the sportsbooks for who will win this year's championships game, its them. They are simply far better on both sides of the ball than all the other teams. Their QB, Matt Corral, was drafted 2022 3rd round by the Carolina Panthers, but suffered a leg injury in a preseason game, missed the entire season, and was cut the following year.

Wouldn't be surprised to see this guy return to the NFL next year -- he seems like the most likely contender among players whose returns are unknown.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: April 28, 2024, 08:21:28 AM
I mean, drafting an injury-prone quarterback in the first round after signing Cousins to a $100 mill guaranteed contract is completely insane, beyond the realm of brain dead.

I don't get it either... For the life of him, dude can't win in the playoffs. Two years ago he was a subject in that Netflix documentary, the one that followed Mahomes, Cousins, and Mariota. At the beginning of the documentary, Cousins admitted there was a stigma around the Vikings always crumbling during the playoffs, and that's exactly what happened that season.

There is maaaad money around the NFL right now. It is by far the world's biggest sports league in terms of revenue. I mean its not even close.

I guess that explains part of it... Maybe should I apply to be a waterboy or something, wonder what their starting salary is, probably more than my net worth.

260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Important reminders on: April 26, 2024, 03:42:47 AM
There is now a new form of spamming. When the spammers get tired of Runes, they will invent Corks, Hooks, Queens, or whatever other bullshit they can come up with.

Yeah probably. There's already something else called Cursed Inscriptions which use a different numeration system than the classic Ordinals system. We can only hope they will get bored with doing this stuff on Bitcoin and do it on a different chain. But given that I understand the M.O. of some of the influencers involved with this garbage, they are only here to cash out on the pump & no one will give a shit about any of this stuff - OK lets up it a year - 2 years from now.
