241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest on: December 15, 2017, 11:06:12 PM
It does not means that the coin is garbage, you need to see that this coin has been on the market for more than three years from now, almost four, and that is a "huge step" for seeing that this coin has been a strong one.

A 75% growth since June, while other coins have down triple digits growth in the same timeframe? Not very encouraging

Sometimes the price is just an iluttion, maybe if a big whale decides to put money in here it could pump the price a little bit.

but are you serious about putting $10,000 on Reddcoin? I dont think that it will give you much profits.

Why dont you try to put that money on other coins? At long term, you will only earn money if you put money on bitcoin.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LOST Bitcoin purchase on: December 15, 2017, 10:55:48 PM
If that was me, i was probably not even going to be on this world anymore.

Just imagine the situation in where you realize that you could have more than 175 million dollars, oh my god,
that is craazy.

I could not live in here anymore.

'I lost my USB with 10,000 bitcoin on that I bought for $10 each a while back' ....

And just imagine if after that he becomes poor, how would he feel? Those feelings could not even been explained.

I had a friend who was holding more than two bitcoins on it's cold storage a few years ago on Coinbase, he bought those bitcoins at $400 both.

Maybe it is not a big amount of money, but now they could be worth more than $35,000...

Only that he forgot the password and the email that he used when he registered in coinbase  Roll Eyes
243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [PLATFORMS] Trading cryptocurrencies on: December 15, 2017, 10:35:21 PM
I dont know what are you looking for, but if you are looking for a platform in where you can do technical analysis while you trade, then the best thing that you can do is just do it on the broker that you are using..

Or just download metatrader and start  doing your analysis in there, it is probably the most complete software to make a track of all your open trades.

But i am not aware if they really have the option to keep the track of al the altcoins who are under the radar (the newbie's ones)

In your opinion, which are the most complete platforms to do technical analysis in cryptocurrencies

If you want to do it on the internet, then just use tradingview.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: coinmarketcap rates on: December 15, 2017, 10:18:37 PM
Coinmarketcap is always using an average price (promedium) between all the exchanges that have bitcoin listed on their platforms.

Most of the times the rates especially for BTC is the highest I could find somewhere.

And no, gdax is probably the only exchange that has bitcoin over $800 - $1000 of the actual price.

The same happens with BitHumb, when there is too much volatility, the price between it and the other exchanges  are far more than 10 or 12 percent.

245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins jump 50-100% on: December 15, 2017, 09:58:23 PM
Is it just me but when I've seen a coin like raiblocks, which probably doubled in a day--i never can f**king get it.. the one exchange it's on is so overloaded i can't get an email to verify my account. It's so annoying

That is because the coin is listed on a weird exchange, probably no one knew about the existence of that exchange before RaidBlocks.

I did not even bothered myself about getting in with this coin, because i knew from the very beggining that getting this coin was going to be a very difficulte task.

And far as i know, that exchange is asking for KYC/AML verifications too, so it was like double work for me.

246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: And HODLER who would like to do some trading. on: December 15, 2017, 09:44:18 PM
If you are a holder, then you should know that it will be difficult to start trading, and more on the beggining...
You will lose a lot of money, but you really need to understand how the market works.

Are you aware of the high volatility that all the altcoins have? Have you been trading with forex or stocks before?

My question: can anyone recommend a few altcoins with some volatility that tend to stay in a range. I know these days everything seems to be shooting straight up.

If you have some previous knowledge, then it will be much more easier to you.

The most volatile coin at the moment is Monero, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dash. Take a look over those.

247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get Bitcoin Diamond on: December 15, 2017, 09:31:05 PM
STAY AWARE OF THIS.

Before starting I recommend to transfer your bitcoins to another wallet!!

They are asking you to export your private key to their site in order to be able to claim those bitcoin diamonds.

This is a very shady practice, and maybe those guys are never going to scam you, but why if there is a script or just a counterparty thaet can easily collet your data and then stole your funds?

Be careful people, do not risk all your money just for a single bucks, they can easily be earned with hard work, nothing more.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current Market... WTH? on: December 14, 2017, 11:33:06 PM
The price has been between $100 and $1000 for more than two years after the big crash of 2013.

Now it has only been less than week since it is between $16k and the actual price and you say that the market is dead?

Oh my god.. you really need to re-considerate your words because you are not taking consideration of the last pump that bitcoin had during the last few weeks.

Kinda unusual for BTC yo be holding steady for so long, and the alts are going crazy. Opinions on on what is driving things at the moment?

I was not expecting to see this kind of threads anymore.
249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would bitcoin's volatility drop when big institutions get involved in it? on: December 14, 2017, 10:58:15 PM
Is it true that the high volatility of bitcoin would drop when big institutions get involved in it as now we see big financial firms entering bitcoin market and wall street firms getting ready to do so?

Well, now that the futures have now been implemented in here, we can say that since they have been released the price has been only moving between $16000 and $17500.

What a coincidence...

anyway, the price is pretty high right now, so i am not complaining because it increased A LOT during the last few months and days, so anyone who wants to complain about the price deserve to have their balance on ZERO.

But yes.. it seems that it is now less volatile than before.
250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold analyst throwing shade on bitcoin... does he have a point? on: December 14, 2017, 10:45:46 PM
This analyst, who normally specializes in gold investing, argues Bitcoin is about to take a dive. Does he have a point? What about his implication that Bitcoin is largely a Millennials' phenomenon?

You should know that everytime that an analyst takes a look over the charts, they are always going to talk about the same crap, that it is a bubble, that it is unstoppable.. And so on.

That is because the charts are insane, they really look like a bubble, but no one knows if it is really a bubble or not.

It is not because i do not want to judge him, but that is real.

Take a look over the charts, modify it to see the all time chart, you will see that the only thing that you can see is a huge green candle.

This scares every one.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Getting paid for playing games? on: December 14, 2017, 10:28:34 PM
You may invest in this project and make some profit but in the long term can this project be sustainable? It is actually just a little game. I just trade them instead of investing a lot of money

Everybody who wants to be paid for tiny tasks are never going to be succesfull ones.
Just take a look over that, they are just paying one dollar a day or less, do you really think that it is worth your time?

it is the same thing as those who are only joining signature campaigns to make a living on them.

Dont they see that they are dumb people? They are trying to spam the whole forum in order to create and have an income, they all deserve to be red tagged because they are just posting crap.

It is the same as that game.
252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Recommendations on Reliable trading broker with no minimum deposit ? on: December 14, 2017, 09:44:41 PM
As the title. I'm looking for the reliable platform where you can withdraw money without issue and no minimum deposit needed.

There are only a few, you can not deposit money to every broker and withdraw as much as you want because most of them are using the kyc and aml securities.

that is probably the only reason of why you will need to provide your id+selfie+and passport (if you have one)

SimpleFX was the last one who was one of the brokers that has never asked for anything for depositing and withdrawing, but they are scam now.

Be aware of those who are never asking for anything, because most of them will always end with being a scam.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I WANT TO CLAIM MY SUPER BITCOIN! on: December 14, 2017, 09:18:10 PM
This is right, and you are probably risking all your funds to get those shitty coins, be careful about this, the same happened with Bitcoin Gold and their shady wallet, a guy lost more than 200 bitcoins for doing this practice.

you must put your remaining Bitcoins on a Supper Bitcoin wallet supported. But, I think most of the exchanges would not even distribute the Super BTC to it's users.

If you are going to be a fork hunter then the best thing that you can do is just put your money on binance, they are giving out and distributing almost all the forked coins to bitcoin holders in there.

They are probably going to be the next great exchange for the next year.

Dont trust on the official wallets, there is no way to get those coins that are worth less than $10 each.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Forks are helpful For Bitcoin? If forks happen then will price go up? on: December 13, 2017, 07:48:15 PM
THIS IS A REAL EXAMPLE OF WHAT A SHITTY POST IS (google translator = on):

In my opinion, nothing bad for bitkoyna his forks, he does not do, except that the appearance of new coins, which partly bear his name, introduce some confusion for beginners in the crypto currency.

What the fuck? In what language are you writing? It is a shame to see that you are just using a google translator to post a whole bible in here of more than 30 pharagraphs.

On the contrary, the emergence of coins that have separated from it contribute to healthy competition and cause the initial bitcoyne to constantly improve in order to keep the title of the leader of the crypto currency.

I am glad to see that you are not a higher member, because it would be a pain in the ass.

Bitcoin scales another fresh peak, likely to hit $20,000-mark soon

There is nothing new with this, i dont know why you are posting this like a "premium" notice because it is not , everybody who has a little experience and has been introduced in here really knows that bitcoin has that potential.

It will probably be touching those rates before christmas, or even before.

Just remember that the price did a huge spike recently, but it dropped too, so it will probably be touching a new all time high sooner or later.

But tell me, arent you satisfied to see bitcoin over x15 since the beggining of this year? because i am.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Calling It! ENJ is about to EXPLODE upwards. on: December 13, 2017, 05:56:37 PM
But you are right, Enjin has probably one of the best teams and performance, but you should know that it has been pumped a lot during the last few days.

And it has not been pumped just because of hype, it has been pumped by those shitty telegram groups, they decided to pump it, and they did, it increased more than 100% in a night and then it went down to -5% in a few hours.

Quote
Why I'm so bullish on ENJ? Well, they have one of the best development teams out there, multiple partnerships with game studios and established titles

Their team is probably the only thing that makes them special, i always appreciated this coin, but i am not very interested since it is not my main focus at the moment.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake Wallet Removed From the App Store - How do you avoid getting scammed? on: December 13, 2017, 05:42:51 PM
This is very critical, if no one regulates the app store for bitcoin/altcoin wallets everyone who knows how to code will create a scammy wallet.

We need to react right now, if i am not wrong, i got an email from Poloniex, or i do not remember if it was on the website. But they had a fake wallet on Apple Store too.

This is very serious, specially for those who does not even know how to manage their desktop wallets.

Quote
The latest scam to hit the headlines has been a fake version of MyEtherWallet, which has been so successful that it reached number 3 on the App Store

But there is nothing new about seeing my ether wallet being pished, lmao.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which really cheap alts to invest and where? on: December 12, 2017, 11:42:57 PM
Probably the OP wants to be a millionaire just like Jordan Belfort did, but he wants to do it with "pennystocks" of altcoins, laught my ass.

I think most of the cheapest altcoins are available on Etherdelta so probably check their website for the price.

The only altcoins that are worth 0.001$ are the forked coins that are now useless, like Ethereum Pro, Ethereum Platinum, and so on, they all are bullshit created to earn money from the air.

You are not going to make money from this, because they are pure scam and i am sure that you are going to lose a lot of money by doing this.
259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are buying altcoins cheaper on Binance As Opposed to Bittrex? on: December 12, 2017, 11:13:50 PM
It was brilliant, you explained it very well in there, it is very helpful for those who still does not even understand that there are big spreads between different exchanges, and different prices as well.

Is my calculation right or wrong?

How can you be in love with binance? Binance and BitStamp are the only exchanges who have bitcoin price by less than $400 - $500 of the actual price that is showing Blockchain.com (and the rates from there are 3 - 4 percent lower than in any other exchange)

I absolutely love binance - having said that, sometimes alts have slightly different prices on these two platforms.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs. Gold on: December 12, 2017, 10:55:13 PM
Yes, THIS, is the real truth. They all have the same function, only that if you are investing in bitcoin you have a little risk, you can just lose all your funds in a night (no one wants to see it happening of course)

yes, I agree with you that bitcoin is just a store of value, I think gold is the same. the difference is that gold is real and become a valuable item in the eyes of society.

No one is talking about luxury in here, the OP is just comparing the good sides of bitcoin and gold, in fact, they have the same function.

but from the side of luxury may be more dominating gold. I can buy hundreds of grams of gold with just 1 bitcoin, but gold can buy 1 bitcoin with hundreds of grams.

anyway, i have always dreamed about having dozens of gold bars on my room.. i hope that it can be done in a few years, but i am just joking.
