In fujicoin core v0.17.1 the upper limit of remittance fee has been increased to 10 times (1 FJC). This allow miners to remit the mined money at a larger amount than before. Please use it by all means.

Hi,
What's wrong with the pool4?

I upgraded the pool 4 fujicoin core to v0.17.1. Because NOMP remittance became impossible due to the specification change of core 's RPC command, I took countermeasures. The amount of remittance stagnation was sent as a batch so there was no problem. Currently it is working perfectly. There is no damage to you.  Smiley

Add mimblewimble would be my suggestion...supposedly Litecoin is doing so and it is a major clone of Bitcoin...

as mimblewimble was originally designed for Bitcoin...this would be a nice 'hook' for attention for FJC from the rest of the altcoin herd. IMHO.

brad

edit: I realize that would not mean the end of current public FJC use as the same for LTC use. But it with LTC will probably

involve a wallet option like DASH for private transactions. Thus (I'm assuming) this is the angle for current coins to implement.

Giving the wallet holder a choice on which distribution system to use on their coin with mimblewimlble the 'legacy' public version or a 'private' version on

a transaction.

again, all supposition on my part .but seems to keep with the rumors I've heard (for what it is worth as a mental exercise)

If possible I think that would be something good to integrate.  Anon is not a bad thing towards looking at for fjc, and possibly some different exchanges to add to market liquidity

my view is FJC needs more to differentiate itself from the other bitcoin altcoins. Eventually (It has been 4.5 years or so since the ASIC KNC Titans..that are the ONLY ASICs

to my knowledge that can do scrypt-N coins (FJC) ...eventually they will die out cube by cube...so without new innovations to move FJC out of the pack..I'm afraid it will

simply fade. The KNC Titan's were NEVER robust and prone to melting power plugs and other issues. (notice how you see few on eBay...because the blew up)

Anyway, innovate or die ...FJC has 'copied' enough IMHO, time to try some new stuff. At worse it will be an add on novelty. At best it will pump the coin to more legitimate uses.

my 2 satoshi's worth

I think that it is impossible to introduce mimblewimble to Fujicoin. There is no concept of address in mimblewimble. So it is impossible to connect with already constructed block chains.
Anonymity is an important qualification of the current fiat currency. I think that is preferable. However, the Japanese government has determined that it will be used for money laundering and is excluded from the whitelist of the crypto currency.
So I'm not going to make Fujicoin anonymous crypto currency.  Smiley

Again, to my point. FJC better  have somehing as a hook and innovative to carry on its function within the next year..when the knc titans go poof from age (4.5 years plus) ..just saying....2014 ideas are not that big a deal

with all the BTC clones direct..besides FJC...and i think mimblewimble will be added to the wallet for private transactions or at least I think that is what LTC is going for ...not the main chain..

but irregardless, without some kind of new hook FJC is likely toast when the KNC Titans go away...no way worth mining at GPU with the ASIC difficulty pump..so masternodes, mimblewimble, not sure what..but something

new has to happen or it is just the same as hundreds of bircoin clones...with the only difference is in the scrypt -n algo.

sad to say...knc asic titans revived the coin..but that can only go so long IMHO

brad

edit: mimblewimble may not be a good choice for the simple reason that MOST bitcoin clone coins will add this..i was told being originally designed for BTC ..but not done it is an easy hook..so I expect with the 95%

dump in price for most btc clone altcoins and not much to lose the vast majority will add this option, at least in wallet, as the LTC folk are doing...it right or wrong due to ease of addition is gonna be common as hell

so maybe it would make no diff if FJC does not have such...but FJC will have to evolve in some manner or it dies when the knc titans eventually 'croak' and die first.

https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/blob/82cacfef8100809ad950b48a01db98e52a6f6877/src/crypto/scrypt.cpp#L271

This is the code of Litecoin's algorithm scrypt. There are 1024 numbers in two places. This indicates the iteration count of the operation. Fujicoin has this number 2048. Simply it is the difference. In other words, Litecoin is scrypt-n (n = 10) and Fujicoin is scrypt-n (n = 11).
Is not the ASIC chip for scrypt making this iteration number programmable? If so, setting the number of iterations is a work of the driver software. So, the manufacturer supplying the scrypt ASIC can supply the driver software for Fujicoin quite easily?

been tried since 2013 onward. there are memory considerations for scrypt-n that makes it NOT do'able with out a complete asic remake for scrypt-n specific (like knc titans) thus not gonna happen...not with the only

2 exchanges and 10x the sell vs 1x the buy on the only 2 exchanges still having FJC. Indeed almost 2/3 of all FJC for sale now is only 1 satoshi...and no coin on any exchange continues to be listed a 1 satoshi.

contact gentraken on here and lightfoot ..they are the ones that looked into this in the past and where I get my info from (lightfoot? reply?)

No way will anyone make a FJC or other scrypt N coin for ONLY 1 coin or at these prices...any NEW ASIC miner and for above reasons, old miners can't be tweaked,

also remember electric for knc titans in the usa goes to summer rates on may 15th (in my case 33% increase with no more

winter heat in the basement benifits) ...again, IMHO it is too little too late..but we will see ...chump or champ that is how this kinda thing usually shakes out

brad

understood. Anyway, I think that the price of fujicoin will be sluggish until the price of bitcoin starts to rise. I will explore exchanges that will be an alternative to cryptopia.

Let's build Fujicoin's blockchain exproler and run it.
Refer to the following for the build procedure.

https://github.com/fujicoin/blockbook/blob/fujicoin/docs/server.md

If you use this you can publish the blockchain explorer or you can build a completely independent TREZOR wallet.  Smiley

Ref: https://explorer.fujicoin.org/

There already is a block explorer for fujicoin,

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/fjc/

Do you want a different explorer?

cryptoID is one of the best block explorer. However, TREZOR hardware wallet can not be connected to it. blockbook has been developed as a successor to the insight that was once a standard. So it's easy to use as a back end for various web wallets. Fujicoin is able to provide the best usability by having both block explorers.  Smiley

Update electrum-FJC

We will update the version of the electrum-X server to 1.8.12 soon.
Along with this, electrom-FJC version 2.9.x can not be used.
Users using electrum-FJC 2.9.x should update to the latest version.

cryptopia hacked.
days ago and the exchange has still been under unscheduled maintenance.
I believe that Cryptopia will come back soon.
Binance team supports Cryptopia by freezing hacked funds sent to their exchange from Cryptopia.

i think it is bad enough..with their very clear statement that they are likely 'toast'

which leaves just bleutrade

no encouraging it seems

Is there a known cryptopia wallet so we can see how many fuji are stuck on cryptopia?

Motty any plans for future exchanges to trade fujicoin at, never used bleutrade but it looks meh, and im not going near yobit.

Yeah, it is a troubling situation. Bleutrade is a stable standard exchange. Usability is not bad either. Nova Exchange which 2nd launched is also a standard exchange and can be used normally. Since the launch of BlockBid is delayed greatly, please use the above two exchanges until then.
