mates which cpu is best to mine 611 I got a 4510u?

I think a xeon cpu with 16-32 cores Tongue

An i7 4510u is that a laptop cpu or what? I see on the intel site it got 2 cores with hyperthreading what makes it visual to 4 cores. I guess its a laptop CPU. Laptop cpu's sucks somehow to mine coins.
My i7 2600 ( desktop ) got 4 cores with hyperthreading to 8 cores.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SIL] 611 (SixEleven) coin | ...::: FREE 611.TO DNS :::... on: November 08, 2015, 11:30:53 AM
How to mine this coin?  Can you explain clearly?

The most simple way using 611-Qt is pressing: Help -> Debug windows -> Console
running this command at the line >:
setgenerate true $NUMBER-OF-THREADS

i.e. if you like to run four threads of CPU mining: setgenerate true 4
You can disable mining running: setgenerate false

Of course you can use any other mining source by connecting it to the tcp port 8661 of your 611d or 611-Qt installation.

611 (SixEleven) should also support MergedMining with Bitcoin. It would be great if anyone could check if this feature works or not and share the result with us.

Hey i am wondering how to mine. This because i support cpu only coins. When u look at the examples about how to mine, its by using the console. That's good because that would mean u must use ur CPU.
But in a other post i read about sha256 what means u can also use ur asic bitcoin miners?

Anyway i use at cpu coins mostly: setgenerate true -1   (-1 he takes all the cores u have), only at cryptonight coins i use 4 cores instead of 8 (beter performance when using 50% of ur CPU and lower power consumption) How is that with this coin?

Edit: i download the wallet from the website and its 100% synced. It didnt get stuck on some point, so that's good. Also this coin looks good so i want to give it a try with a test computer. (but i want a answer on my question above)

I am mining for like 30 minutes now, but still 0 rewards. Is this because i only use 1 cpu ( i got a I7 2600 in my test system, 4 cores with hyperthreading (8cores in console))
My hashrate conform the console (using set generate true -1  what means 8 cores):

12:33:29

gethashespersec

12:33:29

4836363

Can u give me some info about how long to wait, or is this to low for mining?

Edit 2: now i use 4 cores instead of 8 cores and my hash rate is:

12:56:56

gethashespersec

12:56:56

5077770

So more speed when using 50% of cores ( that's great )

Edit 3:
The coins are comming in, but many orphans ( using the cpu with setgenerate true -4 (50% from my total cores))

So now what?

The dev got scolded by his parents for not doing his homework and now he's grounded for a week without internet access  Cheesy

Wink

Quite funny, I was going to my nephew's place.... it was hell

EDIT: Watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmPEFDujoF8

Funny, that dev from DarkCash (14yr) was also indian.
I think we got it at the right end, hash is dropping, ppl are leaving and dev is non active. Same as on darkcash.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Qusocia - Social Cryptocurrency Platform [BTC 2.5] [IoT] [SSC/ETP] on: November 06, 2015, 09:02:11 AM
-The Qusocia IPO is now a Private IPO on the Counterparty network with the ticker QSCO

-There are 5,000,000 QSCO Tokens for sale at 1 XCP Each.

-When Qusocia launches, these tokens will be able to be exchanged for 2 QSC
.

Patience...Images may not work...

Welcome to the Qusocia Announcement Discussion Forum on the Bitcointalk Forum. Qusocia is a highly advanced Cryptocurrency Platform which is the first to introduce Social Smart Contracts(SSC) and ETP Payments. Qusocia aims to be the top Platform for Social Micropayments and Decentralized Social Networking. Announcements on the Development of Qusocia are always being posted so remember to stay updated.

Qusocia is a highly advanced Cryptocurrency Platform based on what we like to call Hithereum, a highly advanced Ethereum hybrid. This puts Qusocia in the Ethereum 1.1 Category of coins(also considered the Bitcoin 2.5 or NXT 2.0 Categories) and is the very first of it's kind in history. Also considered a "Personal IoT Token" Built with the future in mind, Qusocia has been in the underground scene of Cryptocurrency for nearly 3 years. Since the technology wasn't available to create our vision in 2013, waiting around simply wasn't an option. In the meantime, we were able to finalize our ETP Model while finishing up QBase. Everything in development right now for Qusocia is truly exciting and truly revolutionary on many levels. Storage is possible since Qusocia will be the most advanced "world computer" yet, but Qusocia aims to make that storage worth something more than many had expected when it comes to the world of Cryptocurrency.

Creating a fully-fledged Social Atmosphere with both Centralized and Decentralized components is unique and delightful in many ways. Qusocia aims to decentralize your life and social networks but will do so in a series of unique propositions. Would anybody use a social network if your friends aren't using it? Of course not. We already have Facebook for our Social Networking needs, right? Correct, but the Anonymity of Blockchain technology is needed in today's society. Qusocia will be a part of numerous partnerships to gain traction and make sure everybody can have true privacy and security when it comes to their Social Networking life. We would like to call this Social Networking 2.0 Beta.

When it comes to Qusocia Education, we plan on holding multiple small events on SSC/ETP/QBase Education. Besides the multiple small events on Qusocia Education, we're planning on holding 2 Media Events in early 2016. These Media events will aim to put Qusocia in the hands of the public and give them a fantastic experience. We plan on holding each Media event at popular venues which we'll announce shortly. Qusocia Development and Planning is looking absolutely beautiful right now and we're extremely proud to finally reveal it to the World in the upcoming months.

Images may not work....patience...

The planned Qusocia App for iOS and Android will be released at the same time our Beta 2.0 client launches which is scheduled for an early 2016 release. This app will allow anyone and everyone to create their own SSC in any way they choose to do so. Besides Facebook & Twitter Integration, users who have registered on QBase will also be able to socialize with other QBase Members. More information on the App will come before launch.

Emoji-Transaction Phenomenon(ETP) Payments are one of the most exciting features in the Qusocia Atmosphere. Outside of Smart Contracts, the Qusocia Client will be able to function just like any typical Instant Messaging service but with a lot of flexibility. Sending a simple Emoji will also let you send a payment in QSC or BTC which can be disabled if the User wishes to do so. Creating a service like this makes Cryptocurrency a Social & Fun experience which is exactly what Qusocia is aiming to do. Social Micropayments via ETP is the future of Social Networking and Day-to-Day Payments.

Social Smart Contracts(SSC) are just like normal Smart Contracts but with more accessability and reliability.
Social Smart Contracts are only possible through the QBase System as Users will be able to have an experience very similar to Slack for Teams. Those that are a part of each SSC will be able to communicate with eachother in real-time. Both ETP and SSC Development is being overseen by the QBase Team.

QBase is very similar to Slack for Teams but much more advanced in many ways. QBase automatically recreates your entire Social Tree and enables you to Import your Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram friends and start an SSC with them or give them the chance to try out ETP. QBase will also include a Decentralized Marketplace which we will talk more about in the next few weeks.

As mentioned, we have 2 Media events planned to spread Qusocia awareness. These events aim to make Qusocia a viral marketing tool for those who wish to create their own Cryptocurrency startups or concepts. Each event is scheduled to feature Surprise Guests and Music Artists. Since we don't have the exact locations locked down as of yet, we will make the appropriate announcements when the time has come.

Qusocia is a Universal IoT Token built with the future in mind. Our IoT announcements will come shortly.

There are many features that cannot be discuss yet, but the Qusocia/QBase Team have established a Roadmap which is scheduled to be completely revamped by January. When the updated Roadmap comes, our goals will become much more clear and established.

Image of the current Qusocia Roadmap

Before Qusocia officially launches in Early 2016, the QSCO IPO will take place in November.
QSCO is a "Token" which is meant to Reward Investors with QSC After Launch. For example, if you buy 20 QSCO in the Crowdsale, you'll be able to exchange it for 40 QSC in Early 2016.

There will be a total of 12,000,000 QSC when Qusocia officially launches.
5,000,000 QSCO Tokens will be available through the Crowdsale. QSCO Holders will be eligible for a Bonus if they continue holding after Launch.

In the end, all 12M QSC will be distributed to QSCO Holders and to Development according to the Pie Chart in the image above(if it shows)

Stay tuned for updates!

Why I became 148.12000002 FNX balance?

previous 300 FNX

Maybe not a stable internet connection?

U can test it out, disable ur internet, u will see u still ''find'' blocks and get rewarded. Then put back the internet and u see all the rewards are gone when it start syncing again to the network.

So i dont know, i think there is something with ur internet connection ( wifi maybe? its almost never stable.. )

There has been quite the stir, I have a job of 9 Hours (as a Hardware Engineer), I sleep for 7 Hours and I take 2 Hours to Eat (Yup, 2 Hours), and thats pretty much it....

Hahahaha

Here are quote from u 14 yr old kid:

I see I have made quite the stir.....

Also, I'm not niitassin, he's good but also nervous and at times arrogant.... He asked me if I will handle Crave, I said no damn way! I will not let him dump Crave and do some shit again.

Wolf0, I can give him 10 DSK (Which is huge considering the PoW Reward Rate). Actually see the logo while reading the GitHub..

Also, I won't be able to respond for some time..

On the darkcash topic.

Yep you are the darkcash dev, this coin is death.

Bye bye!

Well, pardon me for my language..... Wait what?

EDIT: I think you are desperate to be a scam buster, you see oasises everywhere..... Also, it would be better if you had HARDCORE evidence, what you are telling is circumstantial and thus not probable.... you sir, need to calm down...

Now I know the next thing you will do is look at the IP Logs and say, ha! - Scammer, well there is something called Dynamic IP Addresses, the probability is 1/255 (~200 if you think about it)..... well, we said that the Earth is flat with 99% Certainty, now we say it round.... the same is your case
Personally, i don't give a fuck about these pointless accusations. The most imporant things are to keep the coin alive, without bugs, keeping updated all the time. I don't give a shit about who is the dev.

In fact some of them usually are to come up that the wallet has a virus or some other thing... on one coin somebody told that there was a virus, i asked for a screen of the antivirus results but he didn't camed back to answer yet. Sometimes making a pointless post is just what they need to live

Sometimes making a pointless post is just what they need to live

I gave the proofs of the reason why i tought that. Its not a pointless post, if it's true, and if it is the same dev, its a warning for all of u.

Ofcourse if u live at ur parents home and if they pay your electricity then there is nothing to worry, when ur grow up and need to pay ur own electricity, its not fun to waste it, is it?

This Fantom dev and i send some pm's to eachother, i will give him a change.. But still got a strange feeling nothing more ( and i showed why, i dont scream there is a virus and show no proof.. )

How big bill for electicity you can get with CPU mining? 1$?

Example:
1500 watt = 0,33 € for 1 hour.

Make ur calculation:
i7 2600
1 ssd
1 sata hdd
mainboard
4x 4gb ddr3

Rest nothing inside the test desktop.
So like 200 watt maximum, 0,044 euro for 1 hour = a little more then 1 euro a day = 32euro a month for this coin.

Almost 0 coins give profit at this rate.

I pay my bill for electricity every 3 months, so its like 100 euro for only this coin, not 1 euro.

So it's always a risk, but if the dev do his best, we can all make our profits.
To get profit u need 3 things:
1. good, strong dev
2. luck
3. community what is behind u

200 watt? Are you serious? it is more like ~100 watt maximum when mining. You are not loading iGPU, so i7 2600 consumes around 60 watts on 100% load. So your system needs 100 maximum 120 watt at peak if you using at least 80+ PSU.

I am serious,. U didnt even use google:
Peak power consumption    128W
Idle power consumption    74W
Source:
http://cpuboss.com/cpu/Intel-Core-i7-2600
First hit on google.

This means, even if i do nothing it take 74w., so how the fak can i get 60watts on full load if only idle take 74watts?

Usually some fud in the topic is a good sign

If you say so. But what wrote minerjoen is without real proof and could be fake suspects. And with this i hope he writes something with a little more of sense with even quotes from the source code and not just because devs creates accounts for each coin means that you can connects the dots without real proof.

Anyway, 1 desktop with an i7 2600 is still mining... This is also because i am not 100% about it, also because the dev send me some pm's.

Mine whatever you want. This coin mines in wallet only. No pools, no standalone miner.

Oke and what is beter? Using all ur cpu cores or 50% like the cryponight coins?

All cores of course. If you need some CPU power for browser, you can set in task manager wallet priority to below normal.

Oké good, i will try it on a desktop with a i7 2600 with setgenerate true -1 (so using hyperthreading 8 cores)

About the question: is this the darkcash dev?
Maybe.. Why?
Last time darkcash dev was active:     October 24, 2015, 12:27:08 PM
Time of create fantom dev account:     October 24, 2015, 12:28:27 PM

The change that this is not the same kid, is verry small. I think we are having the same dev here.

Both cpu only ( not cryptonight ), everything looks the same.
Darkcash was failed because members knew this was not having a future, its strange 1 minute later this coin came up.
I never understood what's the point of these "self-investigations". I think you can't lose anything if you just mine for a few hours and get some coins Cheesy

About mining, i am preparing a second computer for this wallet ( still dont trust it ).
I can only mine using the inside wallet-miner? -setgenerate true -1 or 4? (cryptonight coins working better when using 4 cores instead of 8 )
Is there a standalone miner?

i lose power consumption, this because i pay my own elektricity invoices.
Also in the time i mine this coin, i can also mine bytecoin

maybe it could be just a coincidence but if is real then in less of 2 months we will have to declare fantom dead maybe.... we just need to wait and see

Yeah and ofc i am not 100% sure about it, but if somebody start about it ( by quote my reaction on the darkcash page ), and if i look at the info page, and see that there is no exchange ( without exchange no future ), then something inside of me tell me to not trust this.

Ofc when a coin is on a exchange in 1 day it wont say it have a future, but 2-3 weeks later and still nothing about an exchange is also not a good sign...

Something leads me to suspect this is the same dev from Darkcash: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1202318.msg12751697#msg12751697 and there's people claiming he's some 14 year old kid.

There was some need for true cpu coin so the guy has fulfilled it. Doesn't matter how old is he, perhaps we faced damn good coder at last... Smiley

I have nothing against that but the problem is there are greater chances of the dev not taking this project as a serious long term endeavor, and this being a 1 dev coin also makes that even more likely.

Hey!

I just find this coin, is it something or what is ur advise now?
I didnt follow this dev, u think its the same from darkcash or?

Because if it is, i wont download the wallet...
I can'p make you 100% correct prediction, but i advice you to give it a try. There was no "only cpu" coin for a while. The diff is still pretty low so you can "easily" find some blocks

Oké, and how do you mine? Using the setgenerate commando inside the console from the wallet, or is there an standalone miner for this coin?
