241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you willing to go to self-inclusion? on: August 28, 2024, 09:59:19 PM
I was just reading or following someone in Facebook and he is a former casino employees. And some of his followers are giving testimonies on the ill effects of gambling in their lives. But one confessions caught my attention when he mentioned that he got lucky in one casino and just betting for a less than a dollar and then he hits the jackpot and won big.
It's not strange that this kind of a thing happened.... It's not even a coincidental event; you gotta be so lucky like the only rat that escapes from a rat glue....hahahhah

I told a story once; "it was about a girl that had zero knowledge of what a FIFA ball looks like, talk more of understanding how and what the rule of the game is... But she walked in and picked a piece of paper from the trash can and ............that was it" ..!! She selected 5 draws and it was a win for her on coupon games.. people can be so lucky atimes that it may look like you've been wasting your resources all this time.

242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Luck: a dominant factor in gambling then skill. on: August 28, 2024, 09:54:13 PM
For example in horse jumping at Cartmel in the previous race horses managed to damage 3 fences beyond repair, so in the next one they had to jump only 6 instead of 12, suddenly a horse that was 8:1 became a favorite because he was a great galloper but a poor jumper, and he won. It was luck because of the damaged fences or it was skill because you knew what that horse was capable of?
Ehnnn, to be very honest, I don't really have a vast idea about horse racing or how it's being staked... I know alot about sport betting and I can review, collect and rectify odds in their due proportion .. I can tell you how and when 2 odd of the same value can either be a win for the home or away team; or better still, over/ under goals etc...

Yes, luck is more important than skill in casino or gambling because here the casino or gambling bets are arranged in a combination where experience without luck is of no use. If experience or skill comes in handy in gambling or casinos, there are many experienced and skilled gamblers who would never lose a bet.
What are you even saying bruhhhh....?? Luck is more important than skill?? How do you even get lucky when you don't even know how to wager games in the first place? Y'all just write whatever comes into your heads without even knowing - to which area of criticism you need to gain relevance in topic.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No 2 or more accounts awareness on: August 26, 2024, 05:59:23 PM
Do you noticed that there are many complaints recently about gambling sites blocking the accounts of some users. The user may have more than one account but maybe they do not read the terms of service before gambling. This is the ones that we heard of. There would be more than we did not know.
Mostimes, the accounts are being created for different reasons and it's appalling. How would you break the rules of a casino and expect a silent treatment from them? Every rule is set to minimize the winning potentials and illegalities throughout your experience in the casino. Since the casino is responsible for the safety of your funds and a comfy interface for one of the best experiences, what you owe them is playing without becoming a problem to them.

Edit:
I saw no problem because I lost money than win which makes me to to have a single withdrawal. Supposing that I won huge amount of money, they could have used multi accounting as an excuse not to let me withdraw the money.
That's the only way out; I think if they've adopted leniency - to the point of writing out and compulsory displaying their TOS prior registration, they can take any legal actions against you if you refuse to follow suit.

244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have I done wrong by lifting him outside the betting shop? on: August 26, 2024, 04:59:06 PM
You are a good friend. You have been following what we have been discussing on the gambling discussion board on this forum.
it's one thing to listen, but it's another different thing to put it into practice.... When he was overwhelmed by the fun and urge to keep wagering, that's it.... That's the feeling that ushers in a pile of tickets into your hands, removing almost everything in your pockets.

Now I want to asked; Have I done wrong to have lift him from the gambling shop?
You haven't done anything wrong fo sure, just that sometimes, if they gotta allow their greed to override them, I'd allow him to his fate if he insisted.
Quote
Also did you think he would win more if he had continued gambling?
Again, if he lose all the money won do you think he would continue or stop?
There's a high chance that he would have requested for more funds even when he had nothing left in his wallets...The initial winning will only introduce a certain pattern to you that you'll definitely wanna keep trying.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lawsuits with bookmakers. on: August 26, 2024, 04:53:32 PM
2. Players turn to incompetent lawyers who understand little about gambling, which leads to the formation of distorted judicial practice that is not easy to change.
Why would anyone wanna hire a lawyer for a case that involves an amount as low as 1000 dollars? What's the lawyer charging you and what's left?
Ps; you forgot to add the case where the gambler isn't in possession of any funds to sue them?

Quote
Do you think the courts' decisions are fair? What do you think these statistics say?
The decision made by the court, after the judgement summary remains unquestionably fair!! What are you gonna say in cases that a user files a case and doesn't show up for hearing like you said? Aside that, whatever  reason why the potential winning was seized will depend on who's trying to play on who -- the casinos or the players
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do referees get bribed to cheat in a match?  on: August 26, 2024, 04:32:38 PM
I am a big fan of my local team in our region, and I used to follow most of their matches when I was younger. 12 years ago, our team was in the Mobilis First League. Regarding your topic about referees being bribed, I once witnessed an exceptionally and unfair game for us where the referee offered three unfair and imaginary penalties to the opposing team as you can see in this resume. Despite this, our team managed to win 4-3.
Yeahhh.... About this? Its actually a different case! Those were unprofessional/ state leauges and we all know that nothing serious is happening; no serious title matches/ competitions, no licensing for bigger leagues, corrupt officials etc...whatever happens, the admin of the two teams have made an agreement and players are only instructed on how and what not to play.

If, after the rigged game, your team was still able to defeat against them, they're actually good!
Bribery cases in the world of football have not only happened this time, they have been happening for years in various leagues, for this reason FIFA does not hesitate to take action against referees involved in bribery, with heavy sanctions attached.
That's mind blowing... With the sanctions and punishment that awaits anyone found guilty of any misconduct, why should anyone wanna risk himself and his position for come cash? Yeahh, I understand the fact that it could be a huge one atimes though, is it worth the punishment?
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between the gambler and the casino who lose more on: August 26, 2024, 04:03:23 PM
I can guarantee you that on a long-term basis, the casino wins because every game has higher than 0% house edge, which mathematically, in case of 1% house edge that's popular in crypto casinos, means that casino has 51% of win while the user has 49% chance of winning.
Mhan, where did you get this information from? There's never even a time the house edge has been as low as 1%, thereby giving the gamblers a leverage that big... 49% chances of securing a win will wreck the casino in  time.
If I'm not mistaken, I've read in magazines about the profits of the gambling industry per year, some of the gambling sites I've read about, they can make big profits every year, meaning that the average casino has a profit in running a gambling business.
Gambling is actually a profitable business, but the risk and selfless act, all in a bid to convince a user and incur much traffic is the most difficult part of... Signature campaigns, celebrity ads, bonuses, free spins, etc....
Quote
Logically, you can see, gamblers and casino owners, which one is the richest, of course the casino owner, like GRANDPA ZEUS. I have seen a few gamblers who have won from gambling.
In a lower language; is you're winning too much, remember that someone else is losing!
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between the gambler and the casino who lose more on: August 26, 2024, 03:48:48 PM
I don't know if this have been discussed before, but this question was born out of the discussions that we hard today on one of the threads in the forum about, the risk of casino's losing money as a start up, what it means is that, most cryptocurrency casino that are New start up have been faced with the challenges of gambler's winning big amount even on the first day of their lunch, so for that we have to make out time to discuss this topics as for who lose more between the casino operator or the gamblers and how can you compare the risk of casino Dev and against the gambler himself?
it depends on the type of casino and games You're referring to... This looks to me as though you were really focused on crypto casinos as you made mention of in the context.. To the best of my knowledge, bookies are susceptible to making more profits than a gambler, even after paying atleast 95% RTPs and leveraging on just 5% house edge.
If casinos lose more than the gamblers, there will hardly be any casino in operation because no one go into a business to lose money. Some times casinos may lose money but they generally at advantage that makes them come out profitable on the long run. So gamblers lose more but some gamblers have been able to improve their gambling to make more profitable for them. When I say gamblers losing more, I mean the number of gamblers that loses money are higher which makes the casinos come out profitable.
It's actually an inverse proportion and operation... The book makers will set an algorithm in a way that the casinos will only lose once in every 30 or 40 rounds, putting the gamblers on a defensive end... This whole statistical evaluation is what every casino uses. No one would do a business that doesn't yield anything at the end   Roll Eyes
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do referees get bribed to cheat in a match?  on: August 26, 2024, 01:31:16 PM
What do you guys have to say about this? Do you think that referees can be bribed so they can issue a red card unnecessarily to the best-forming team to to make the team lose?
I don't know how you conceived this, but for sure, everything that involves manipulating a game does exist in lower leagues.... I'm not going to agree with you if you're referring to the referees in major leagues; they've got officials, umpires and VARs.... It's not solely about the field referee's decision alone. So bribing one out of 40 - 60 officials in a game is like an impossible mission.

About the cards -- you can't just issue out a straight red to a player over an offense that's not worth it ... I've watched several games where the referee is called to revise his decision e.g, cancelling the red card and substituting it for a yellow instead.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Luck: a dominant factor in gambling then skill. on: August 26, 2024, 12:05:25 PM
What has the luck to do with the ratio of people winning?
If we toss a coin and 1 million people bet each time in the end there will be half winners half losers, you can do that by tossing 1 million or 1 trillion, there will be no skill, and the end result will be that on average everyone has lost just as much as he has won.
I never thought someone like you would argue on this...  Tongue
Do you think a casino would give a limited option, in favour of the gamblers?? How do y'all read? Tossing a coin would result in two options -- HEADS OR TAILS... and either of them could be representing a win or loss. But casinos have introduce other options, one of which could also have a greater advantage than the other.. e.g 12(either side to win) has an advantage over "1" (home win)
It's simply about how many users can align their simulations with the algorithm of the casinos and also, the odds for that particular week/session/season.

Every game that has a pre-generated result ready the moment you push the button is 100% luck.
I wasn't disputing that... I wasn't even talking about casino games... Sport betting is all I was trying to describe.

Quote
As I said, in casino games it's 100% luck, in sports, it's still half of it, sometimes things that are simply out of this realm happen.
like smaller teams defeating against a bigger team? It does happen all the time in premier League matches.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it worth being a sports betting scalper? on: August 26, 2024, 12:48:38 AM
I will prefer to by a domain and set up a prediction website instead which people will know that not all my predictions will be correct. All that I need is to make like 70% accurate predictions daily and you will see people coming to check for predictions daily. The site can be monetized with ads.
In as much as what's described in the OP is the lamest ways to run a prediction business, that's how she knows best..and, yours doesn't look like you'd make alot of profits from it.

I know of a few registered channels on telegram that wouldn't even
allow you a permission to join if you don't pay. They've got stricter measures as their predictions are daily.

I've never been this excited in my life.... The ecstacy and the experience was a thriller! Everyone played smoothly, even as they all had different wings, the coordination was there..every single Chelsea player was ON THE PITCH!

COLD palmer!!!!! I mean, the strategy was right on spot and he took over the game, creating chances and everything. Joan Felix played well too; I saw realism and professionalism in madueke today as well.. lighting up the candles and banging the net like that was his last game... His meticulousness and precision paid off!

Brighton 2 - 1 Manchester United

It was a game with many events that made me laugh. Honestly, Manchester United fans have great reasons to cry.
Mhan, the game was tough and hilarious at the same time...
Rashford's goal was canceled since it was clearly an offside and the pain went straight to united fans...lol
Zirkzee got intercepted in garnacho goal and again, that was an offside .. looks to me like United had a bad turnover and luck was far from them.

Well on the other hand, the assist from mitoma that led to welbeck's goal was finesse... Passing just right after harrys foot into their competition, it was a goal!! Brighton really had a upper hand in the game and their touches were superb. That has made them stronger in their 2nd position in the table.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: They will find someone to blame for their mistakes on: August 25, 2024, 04:26:26 PM
There was a topic that was posted on gambling discussion not quite long about British Prime Minister bodyguard arrested for election date bet. If I understood it, people are to bet on the day the election date would be.
It's against the rule of gambling... This shouldn't be justified for whatever reasons, he cheated and he deserves his fate! If he decided to leak out the exact date to everyone, casinos would run into bankruptcy and users would wreck even them by staking on multiple bets.

Quote
I think betting sites should not be allowed to include such bet. They should not just only be blaming the man. I see the betting site faults also. Why making people to bet on a result that someone set?
literally, bookies always wanna add everything as a variety of game for the users. Obviously, the request for such predictions were met before they decided to fix our odds on them. He wanted a maneuver, but he didn't do the right way... I'd like to ask, how was he caught?
betting events involving elections are also not carried out by betting sites consistently.
The Democrats should strictly be against this, but no... I guess they're receiving a wholesome from the directorates..How's the whole election process not a gamble even when it's included in casinos?
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advantage over the bookmaker. on: August 25, 2024, 03:31:21 PM
What do you think is your advantage over the bookmaker?
A gambler has an advantage, but to some extent; in sport betting, the final decision isn't influenced by the casinos themselves... Mind you, the casinos don't make predictions against yours ( I think you wrote something of that nature in your post... That's a fallacious statement). The ability for a game to be played on on a neutral ground - not more of a preprogrammed thing is already an edge against the casinos, so all they'd do is limit the options that a user has... Haven't y'all seen some options being locked on a casino? That right there would always be 100% against them.

Quote
And in general, do you have an advantage over the bookmaker?
Is it even possible to have an advantage over the bookmaker?
The idea is; everyone isn't going to wager on the said bet all at the same time, neither is everyone going with one option... The casino regulates the odds as it draws closer to the kickoffs
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advise Someone about Gambling Platform Business on: August 25, 2024, 02:07:17 PM
1. What are the first things to put in place before starting?
You need a website... It's left for you to hire a developer with good experience. That's definitely going to be an expensive move though.
Quote
2. What are the strength and weakness to consider with gambling platform?
It all depends on what you're aiming at; I think a not getting a license from any source/regulatory body is a weakness... Your operations and validation will be limited, thereby debarring your casino's growth. Get a license from the Curaçao gaming control board.

Quote
3. Can you hire a person to be in charge, for the business management of the gambling platform?
I'd definitely hire a professional and put him on pay role... It's easy to say you'd wanna manage the casino by yourself, but how do you begin? Or better still, you could learn the managerial skills before anything.
Quote
4. Is it a profitable business base on your own experience or from what you have seen others achieved from establishing one?
It's a profitable business...
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always use minimum bet amount on slot games on: August 25, 2024, 01:17:40 PM
I don't have patience unfortunately and almost all the time I lose when I try slots. I don't play slots much though only when I don't have enough money in my account, usually after losing almost all from the deposits I made for sports betting.
it's not strange that most people don't have that virtue - patience! Unfortunately, alot can be achieved from adopting it..
Not just on a spin-to-win game, I don't even stake to the maximum on sportbets either.. odds like 2.6 or less is more likely to cut a win than bigger odds.

I once tried - on a virtual game - a game of 5odd against a 1.56 and surprisingly, the 5odd won against them. it was an Olympic selection so i think ARGENTINA played against USA.
There are some people who said better to gamble with high amount in the beginning because they mostly win in the early session and then keep losing when they gamble too long. Roll Eyes
maybe that could also be a strategy?? I normally observed that in a start of the season, the predictions are likely to cut - especially if you're playing with the rules of equity; small odds can win against bigger odds.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any gamblers with top analytical skills from whom beginners can learn? on: August 25, 2024, 12:48:52 PM
Well, I was wondering if there is a list of pro gamblers with efficient analytical skills and realistic records in sports betting (NBA, Soccer, UFC...etc). This can be very useful, especially for beginners who want to play and at the same time maintain their responsible gambling strategies. You know, I'm not saying that we need to encourage people to gamble, but at least assist those who have already started and need help or inspiration.
Who inspires you in this field, and where can we find free resources to learn from them Huh
There are no efficient analysis when it comes to gambling... No matter how professionally oriented a person is, they'd always tend to make faulty analysis in most cases.. What's the point of depending on another person's experience in the expense of my money?

Well, if you still insist, there are several telegram channels that make predictions all the time.. it ain't free either - it's also impossible to know which of them has the most accuracies.
Literally, any strategy you could ever think of is already in existence... YouTube is your friend!
259  Other / Meta / Re: OP* you have a responsibility: Gambling Board on: August 25, 2024, 11:50:23 AM
Whatchu talking about dude?? Since when did y'all develop a standard that guides the posting habits of a signature campaigner -- an OP that gets paid from another firm who doesn't even complain about these excesses? Do you just go around disqualifying people's post, scrutinizing through to know who's doing what?
The least thing you'd wanna do is encumber people with your solo-ideas, with this there-must-be-an-ettiquette type of attitude when posting...

I make threads with intensions; I don't know about anyone else but personally, it's about an experience I've got for a long, long, long time ago! I'd be making 70 post weekly if I operated just like you described. How?? I'd just go about engaging in the thread and I'll get a substantial post count.
I always reserve the right to respond to any topics - especially if I wasn't ASKING QUESTIONS THAT NEEDED ANSWERS... if all I needed was what the other participants thought about whatever issue that was.
That's right, keep attacking the Gambling Board to see if the main source of income that signature campaigners currently have gets screwed up.

As if the mixer ban wasn't enough.
I see, most people don't even support the incentives!
