241  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would the community support in a new Poker Site - DEPRECATED! on: June 27, 2015, 03:22:06 AM

I am also putting the final touches on a system that allows a more "insured" way of exchanging paypal, and credit cards between buyer and sellers of cyptocurrency that avoids terms of service violations and strict KYC requirements.
How do you guys plan to implement paypal considering chargebacks would still likely be a problem when buying crypto ?
242  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitstamp stealing my ID and banking details ? on: June 26, 2015, 04:22:54 PM

but if an attack from hacker occur, then your id could be stole for malicious activity, this is why i can't trust exchange with id, and i'll never, send mine ever..

better to deal with exchange that ask your name and address only with limited deposit and withdrawals

Probably not. The exchanges don't really store your ID's on a database system. They probably store it offline. If the entire database with all the ID's was to be hacked or compromised , they would likely have to face serious charges.
243  Economy / Gambling / Re: UK Gambling Commission says UK based sites need a license! on: June 26, 2015, 04:19:48 PM
what reason do the UK have for doing this?

How much do you think the UK Government rake in every year from the likes of Hills, Corals, Ladbrokes, Bet365, Paddy Power etc?
And how much will they rake in from bitcoin sportbooks  present and future?
I think that may answer your question.

Yep! It's purely so they can get their hands on their cut. No doubt they would provide a different answer if you were to ask them though.

That does seem to be the likely case. It is primarily the sports books which got the email to shut down, and not other gambling sites. And because of this I don't see US following the same steps, unless they want to go after every gambling site to shut them down.
244  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: June 26, 2015, 04:16:49 PM
Micon pled guilty today, in exchange for no jail time, probation, can file to have his record reflect a gross misdemeanor instead of a felony, $25,000 fine, and he agreed to allow Nevada to keep $900, 3 Bitcoins, and electronics that they confiscated.
http://vegasinc.com/business/2015/jun/25/man-charged-running-bitcoin-poker-site-agrees-guil/

Thats great. Don't know if I should congratulate him , but this is definitely much better than jail time or the punishment he could have got, looking at the trend for laws against cases involving bitcoin. Any word from him , if he will leave US again to operate the site from Antigua ?
245  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitrogenSports.eu - The Future of Betting on: June 25, 2015, 06:44:42 PM
Seems the UK ban on unlicensed casinos is really spreading out. Looks like Sports books are the major gambling sites which are facing these requests to not operate in UK.
246  Economy / Gambling / Re: challenge poker on: June 25, 2015, 06:18:08 PM
Feel free to PM me, and I would be happy to play  headsup as long as the stakes are ok with me.
247  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [buying]amazon gift cards on: June 25, 2015, 03:40:39 PM
I have some small cards like 25x2. I'm looking like 80% of value. if you are interested then let me know.

thanks ill consider it; im more so looking for a dedicated seller I can buy from once or twice a week though, at a decent discount. I'll let you know if I want one of those cards though.
Can you post what percent discount you are looking for ? I might have an account with prime activated which I might consider selling.

I dont need a prime account, just looking for gift cards at a discount right now. I think I found a seller for now though.
Sorry I meant a Prime account with gift card balance. Anyways, let me know the percentage incase you are still looking for buying.
248  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitstamp stealing my ID and banking details ? on: June 25, 2015, 03:23:14 PM
I was thinking the same thing.
But the section of tickets dealing with this have all gone.

All the tickets with one particular persons name on it.

Even one going back 3 years ago when I first opened up the personal account.

AND .. no reply ..... none.. not even after an urgent "please explain" ?

Hope you are right.
Could be just a glitch at the moment. There is not much they can illegally do with your ID. Incase you are worried, you can always write across it " For Verification of Bistamp" and send it to them. This way, as long as its written over your picture somewhat, they cannot use it for any other purpose.
249  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Forum accounts full, sr, hero or legendrary on: June 25, 2015, 03:06:01 PM

1. Quality posts - I will be checking the account posts precisely and thoroughly.
ps: not trolling or increasing my post count. this is a serious, self moderated thread (anti bullcrap)

Not looking to sell , but I doubt people here advertise accounts that they wish to sell before the trade  . Also currently the thread isn't self moderated.
250  Economy / Digital goods / Re: ★Im Selling Private Phone Numbers Call/SMS - Redirecting to your E-mail/Mobile ★ on: June 25, 2015, 02:50:04 PM
do other people can read the sms you get also or its just personal, because i dont think its a good idea to buy it if you want to use it for 2fa

Private phone numbers (personal) Wink
I doubt thats the case, as all the online sites which offer the same pretty much also have access to the messages. So I would suggest avoiding in cases you have details of a personal account or an online wallet with btc balance being verified with this.

252  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Website on: June 24, 2015, 06:03:20 AM
SealswithClubs ,
Though I don't visit it much often as it doesn't have an html client yet.
As for the site with a good interface, I used to like Cloudbet in the past. But most of their games and themes are rented from game providers, so they are bound to look good.
253  Economy / Digital goods / Re: {Selling} - Starbucks Gift Card for 35% ☆★☆★☆★ on: June 24, 2015, 05:47:18 AM
From her email to me, she mentioned that alot of sbux cards are crapping out instantly or in a few hours (unlike before).  She said once there is a "fix" then she'll be back on here ready to sell.  ETA is unknown tho  Undecided

What changed?!? What did starbucks do on their end??

Not sure that it has anything to do with Starbucks -- although it could. That would be impossible to determine. One possibility is that the latest batch was "old", meaning the period of time from which these cards had been purchased (fraudulently) was significantly longer than with previous batches. My thinking is that most chargebacks occur once the credit card statement arrives -- weeks later. In this case, those weeks of lag didn't exist.

Just one possibility, anyway.

It would be unlikely , but since they are carded, I think starbucks goes through the request of unauthorized card usage in a queue. Since the problem might be increasing for them, they are likely to be doing this in a quick manner to minimize losses due to carding. If the dealy is on the customer end delaying in reporting the unauthorized usage, then its unlikely they will be able to expedite the cancellation on those cards.
254  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would the community support in a new Poker Site I'm considering launching? on: June 23, 2015, 05:55:40 PM
I think a true provably fair system for each game played would be nice to have on a poker site, hope you can improve that.

By the way, good luck with your poker site and let us know when it is up to try it.
A provably fair system will not truly be a provably fair system under no circumstances, under the condition that you are playing with a few players you know. The main reason a poker room may not be having a fair system is to have cards in play which will generate more rake for the casino, by essentially keeping the shift in chips so no players wins big or loses big, so most of them would stay on the table and continue generating rake.
However, even if that process is made fair, there is nothing stopping from Site bots, which would win more to steal from the players.

From one of his conversations on skype they also quoted him " “You can give me a quick google and see that I started SealsWithClubs.eu in 2011 and amassed a considerable wealth with the increase in Bitcoin price,” Micon wrote in a Skype conversation. “I plan to relaunch the (Lock Poker) brand and make all players whole.”"
which doesn't sound like him being a spokesperson.

This is the real story

Freemoney's 1st bitcointalk post
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=245.msg2522#msg2522

Seals was started by Freemoney.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=40077.0

Micon's 1st bitcointalk post
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=11941.msg167263#msg167263

and the start of an android version of Seals, where the programmer writes about Freemoney, and Freemoney responds.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=90128.msg1002650#msg1002650

Freemoney wrote this
Micon is a Seals pro and handles some marketing and advertising for Seals. if you've got links to Seals spamming, I want to see them.
He cannot steal Seals deposits.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=94900.650;wap2

Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't gone in that deep and wasn't here when it all started out.

I believe they did confiscate all his computers and drives back in Feb during the raid, so they must have something on him from that, otherwise they wouldn't have charged him with it.

I wouldn't take that as a certainty.  Once you've launched a huge armed raid on someone and seized their shit, you're almost locked into prosecuting because if you don't, you're probably getting sued yourself.

I can't really judge what's going on at the moment.  It doesn't look good for Micon, but then nothing involving being criminally prosecuted ever looks good.

I hope he knows what he's doing coming back to face this.  Possibly, he found out the extent of their case and his defense is unimpressed enough with it they're willing to take their chances.  Or they have reason to expect a good deal.

But it could be a grim situation where he was just too broke to either stay in Antigua or defend himself and just had no real option other than to come back and face the music.

I hope for the best.
Thats absolutely true. But again they had valid reasons (suspicion of being the operator of an unlicensed casino) . All we can do like the others is hope he gets through.
256  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: June 21, 2015, 05:39:22 PM
If he is not able to prove that he was just a spokesperson for the site, it would be difficult for him to not be charged with running the site.

It is actually the opposite of that.  He does not have to prove anything.  The prosecution has to do the proving.
I would still argue with that, as if the government finds out you are involved with a company and they see you only as part of the team, then they will likely accuse you for any charges . If you then claim to be the spokesperson, then their next step would be to ask you to give the details of the people running the site as you would essentially just be an accomplice to it. I believe they did confiscate all his computers and drives back in Feb during the raid, so they must have something on him from that, otherwise they wouldn't have charged him with it.

257  Economy / Services / Re: TravelKings Flights/Hotel Service 60% off Major websites(Expedia/Orbitz)ESCROW!! on: June 21, 2015, 03:52:34 PM
i would like to warn about this. i ordered a hotel which was booked and i sent btc for it.
the day before i check in the hotel calls me and im told booking gets canceled.
travelking refuses to return my money and says i have to use it up. i then choose a different hotel, where im told to check out after the first night.
travel king still refuses to refund my money and says i have to pick another hotel because he will be on vacation for the next 2 months

here it is, i guess it was not deleted.
That again is not the post with proof, but that person did post some proof in some previous posts.

This one :

my booking get caneled the night before i check in

http://gyazo.com/83eab7da00b91cff447c587abadb2ffd

his replies

so i then book a different hotel and ask for the rest back as the new booking was cheaper, he refuses.

http://gyazo.com/3cdd270e89aed1c4dbadbd39048ab489

then after one night at the second hotel i have to check out

http://gyazo.com/c92e86109803bba5eef8b6cb911af8a4

I believe it is confirmed that stolen credit cards were used(even though TravelKings said it wasn't) to make the bookings so would be best to avoid. Just incase you do want to try it, use an escrow no matter what, till the end of the trip.
258  Economy / Services / Re: TravelKings Flights/Hotel Service 60% off Major websites(Expedia/Orbitz)ESCROW!! on: June 21, 2015, 11:25:15 AM

I believe he already had posted proof and it was deleted.
There is no reason any moderator will delete proof of a scam. Again, use an escrow, and you will not be scammed for it.
259  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB Webmoney(WMZ) with BTC at discount - Still Looking on: June 21, 2015, 09:02:56 AM
Still looking for WMZ . If you have something to offer , let me know.

I have some WMZ funds 53$

Let ne know if you want it.

I want the same value in BTC

Traded with superiorus. Locking this thread for the time being.
Thanks for looking.
260  Economy / Services / Re: TravelKings Flights/Hotel Service 60% off Major websites(Expedia/Orbitz)ESCROW!! on: June 21, 2015, 08:34:00 AM
Proof that i scammed?

"Yes. I can confirm that I'm still here.  I'm waiting to take pictures and post after I leave as I'm here for a few days.

The room is beautiful!
"

There was someone that used your service and got evicted from the hotel after a day, since they figured out that the booking was fraudulent. I am unable to find the specific post, you might have deleted it.

Wouldn't recommend anyone to use this service.
I haven't booked any room, but I doubt any such posts were deleted. The posts made are here and were made by newbies, so they could be just fake accusations as they had no proof . You can see the posts on the top of this page. But again I am not vouching for this service, and would recommend you to use an escrow till the end of the trip.
