241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MATIC - Polygon on: April 30, 2024, 01:41:40 AM
What does Everyone know about this Token, from what I know it is an ETH Clone or Fork, and it is set to Finish Mining Rewards Distribution by April 2025. They could Continue Rewards with a Token that Rewards Miners of MATIC, so it's not like it has to Die. But I want to know what Everyone knows about this Token, and their Experience.

Your knowledge about Polygon network is incorrect and absurd. It is a layer 2 solution on Ethereum blockchain and Matic or Polygon is the native token that fuels the network. By layer 2 solution I meant that it was created to solve the issue of scaling on the Ethereum blockchain. You can read this informative article about it to know it better
242  Local / India / Re: Using savings account for crypto trading can terminate your account! on: April 29, 2024, 05:20:45 AM
snip~~

In Indian crypto trading is not considered as a business. Nor, stock trading is considered as a business unless you are a broker. I do not think there should be any issues related to saving bank account being used as a way to credit your profit through crypto trading. I think this guy might have been spooked due to largely bank accounts still getting frozen after P2P amount gets credited. He is trying to relate that issue with saving account being used for trading purposes. Which I don't think is relatable as P2P bank account freeze is a completely different issue.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Practical Coins on: April 28, 2024, 08:23:17 AM
Dash may be better in many ways if compared with Bitcoin but it is not a practical coin. There only thing that makes it unique is it's ability to hide transaction. There are other coins or tokens that are very fast and yet charge far lesser fee than Dash. About acceptability and adoption none of the altcoins can overcome the fact that Bitcoin is accepted more by merchants globally and has a high adoption rate.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are the people manipulating Helium HNT? I need to talk to you. on: April 28, 2024, 07:49:08 AM
I don't think that the whales are busy manipulating the price of HNT. The price has been going up organically for the last 7 days. I also don't think that you will find any altcoins whale here as the forum is for Bitcoin. I am certain there are a few of Bitcoin whales in the forum. Still if you feel that whales are still manipulating the price then this altcoins has a small market cap and anyone can manipulate it's price.
245  Local / India / Re: Breaking: Bitcoin Halving Event [2024] is over! on: April 28, 2024, 06:01:02 AM
I really don't think there is a loss to miners or drop in their rewards as long as Bitcoin's value is higher, I was not expecting any bullrun till the end of this year and I was amazed even by the surge we have seen in last 6-7 months which was not expected. My plan would be to continue with the existing DCA and keep a track of market trend because during bull timing matters the most as you could miss rally by minutes, In short I am accumulating Bitcoin to sell it during peak and reinvest a part of it in altcoins during bullrun.

Miner's rewards getting dropped will affect them for the next 4 years but if again the network is spammed by those shit coins then they will be making a good profit. That is the right strategy buy low & sell high to maximize the profit. The point is that we will see the next bull run is unpredictable everyone was expecting a bull run after ETF approval but, no one was expecting Bitcoin to create a new ATH. Accumulation is always a good strategy to generate good returns when the time is right to sell.
246  Local / India / Re: [March 2024 update] Indian Board activity on Bitcointalk on: April 28, 2024, 04:34:32 AM
@TheUltraElite you have been in the forum for about 8 years now. You have seen the good, the bad and the worst of the forum. You are aware of forum policies more than anyone here is aware of. I think you will be the right person to apply for merit source for the local board. I don't think anyone has will oppose your application.
247  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: April 28, 2024, 04:27:56 AM
^ I too think Rohit should get one last chance as a captain of the T20 side. He is not at his best and has been struggling with the bat but as a captain he can make a difference.

Another thing is that Virat might be slow with his SR but he is a pillar that gives the team a confidence by only being present on the field. I do think he should be part of the squad and this may be the last time that we might see both Rohit & Virat in a World Cup.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum has been stuck around $3200 for quite some time on: April 27, 2024, 09:42:57 AM
Currently post halving all altcoins that have a good marketcap are following Bitcoin. This has been always the case and it is nothing new. Earlier this year when Bitcoin had a small bull run the price of Ethereum did go beyond the $4K mark. Again it will go up when Bitcoin bull run will start and till that time we need to wait patiently.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How it is possible to get MC in millions ? on: April 27, 2024, 09:20:54 AM
i have been looking into the dextools and dexscreener the meme projects of solana mostly tokens just launched and within 1 2 hour they gained more than a million dollar market cap and when i check their socials they are dead not a single active post their but still manage to engage audience and reach Million dollar MC how i can't figure it out same now i found a https://simsol.fun/ project a meme one but this time their socials are quite active and but still no as such marketing but i am getting vibes it gonna make million for sure what you think ?

Meme coins are community-driven coins and if a meme coin gains a million dollar market cap then it would have been done artificially. Better to stay away from such meme coins as it can be a rug pull. I am not so confident about new meme coins on any blockchain as most of them are now being used to scam investors of their money. Scammer have not started using the hype to create an impression that their meme coins can be the next big wave. Ultimately they use this hype to fill their pockets and then abandoned the project.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MemeCoins Fuel the Next Crypto Craze? on: April 27, 2024, 07:42:48 AM
Meme coins are a high risk investment. With the recent hype of meme coins there has a lot of new projects that have come up. Not all of them are genuine but scammers are utilizing this opportunity to scam investors. As Solana network has seen an unprecedented growth due to meme coins there have been lot of scams that are now coming out. I don't think we will see again a hype but those existing ones will perform well in the next bull run.
251  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: April 27, 2024, 07:02:03 AM
Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, SKY, Pant, KL Rahul and Bhumrah should be in the squad for World Cup. Sanju Samson may be included in but I have a little doubt. BCCI have created flat pitches for IPL and that is why we are seeing big runs currently but in an ICC event pitch will not always be batter friendly then of course we need to remember that it is being hosted in West indies and US. Wherein WI is known to create pitches that are bowler friendly.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Post halving, why are altcoins the most affected on: April 27, 2024, 06:00:40 AM
Bitcoin dominates the crypto market and will affect altcoins when it is bearish. This is not new in crypto if you have been here for some time. Only Bitcoin creates bull season and bear season, halving is an event of Bitcoin & not altcoins. Therefore, if you expect Bitcoin halving to bring a bull market, you need to wait for Bitcoin demand to increase in the market. We saw a short bull run earlier in the year when Bitcoin broke its ATH but altcoins did not even reach their ATH this is because there was not any demand for altcoins at that time. There was only demand for Bitcoin due to the ETF getting approved, there are a few altcoins ETFs that the pending approval if they get approved then you will see a demand for those altcoins in the market.
253  Local / India / Re: [March 2024 update] Indian Board activity on Bitcointalk on: April 26, 2024, 04:54:41 AM
Government not being friendly is one of the reason but there are other countries which are more hard on cryptos still their local community is keep on rising.

Lack of merit circulation is primary reason in my opinion for loss of interest from members. And it's official that HH made it clear that he is no longer a merit source.

I do not think merit is the problem here as there was a time when merits were distributed generously, sill activities were an issue. I remember you posting a few topics of your own and others on a merit thread run by hugeblack and he distributed a few merits. As per my understanding, we can easily get merits from the global source by either contacting them or by using their merit threads. The whole issue is the negative policy of the government that has stopped newbies from enrolling in the forum and another thing is that not everyone is aware of the forum's existence and that there is an Indian local board.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you restaking wBTC right now? on: April 26, 2024, 04:48:05 AM
snip~~

WBTC is not BTC so why will it have a staking mechanism? WBTC is an altcoin created on the Ethereum blockchain and has no resemblance to Bitcoin. Rather than investing money in a copy I would like to keep on holding to my stash and it will give me more returns than staking. There are other good altcoins that give good rewards than the one you are talking about.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best SocialFi (legit, no scam) on: April 26, 2024, 04:35:40 AM
Does Steemit count  Grin Grin?

I think OP is talking about new SocialFi projects rather than the older ones. Steemit indeed is quite a big name (from my POV). From what I know, people actually make money by posting content and receiving upvotes. It’s not just about making money but you get to connect with people and learn from them. I’m not sure if any project will easily replace Steemit.

Steemit and PublishOx are not social media platforms they both are blogging platforms like Medium. They cannot be considered as SocailFi projects in the crypto space. I have seen many names in the past coming up with the same concept but the success rate in SocialFi is less as users do not want to get paid in crypto but USD. That is why many users shift their base to more prominent names that pay a user in USD.
256  Local / India / Re: Raj Kundra-Shilpa Shetty in Bitcoin Ponzi Scheme Scam on: April 26, 2024, 02:27:17 AM
snip~~

Rich people don't marry for love but for their own personal benefits. We can see it clearly happening in the Ambani family. I guess all celebrities do the same but as Shilpa Shetty has her own reputation and he own fame it is better to stay away from a man who is constantly indulging in criminal activities. Another such issue in the future will jeopardize her career and her fame. That is what I feel and as in the past such issues have dented the career of a few famous actresses.
257  Local / India / Re: Good News Nirmal Sitharaman is not contesting Lok Sabha poll on: April 26, 2024, 02:21:58 AM
I would rather say we should be prepared for even worse post election because they may implement more stricter law as the communal politics has been successful till date and Modi will manage to win this term as well due to lack of strong oppositions and also because of fear he has created in people's mind saying they would be in danger if he loses. RBI governor will surely roll out more actions against crypto as he is not a fan of crypto. So we need to think how we would be engaged in crypto be it trading or P2P or even investment.

As long as the opposition is divided and the Youth Icon talks shit the ruling party will win the election. Congress wants inheritance tax to be implemented and now BJP will be using this stupidity to cash votes which they have already started. I don't divulge in much poltics but the future for crypto in India is not looking good. Even the US government is trying it's level best to stop crypto exchanges from operating in thier country. Looks like the G20 gang are in sync with each other.

259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doraemon robotic cat! huge benefit for future holders on: April 25, 2024, 04:19:47 AM
OP is only promoting another shitcoin, he is not part of the team. You can check his previous posting and you will realise what is happening hear. I did go through the links that OP has submitted. It is a new meme coin and doesn't have a good liquidity or a big community to pump it. I think it is better to stay away from investing in a new meme coin.
260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If all your wages were paid in USDT, would you accept it? on: April 25, 2024, 03:46:21 AM
If your salary was not US dollars, but USDT, would you dare to ask for it? Although USDT can facilitate transfers and cross-border payments, thinking about the fluctuations and risks makes me feel a little panicked! It can’t be used everywhere in daily life, What do you think? Come and chat!

USDT is a good option only for cross border payments other than that it doesn't hold any importance. If someone gets paid in USDT they still will need to convert it into fiat as it is not accepted everywhere. Grocery, rent payments, bill payments cannot be done using USDT, those payments require fiat. I personally won't be interested in getting my wages paid in USDT unless my employer is situated in a different country.
