Day 3 for me and I still have a S3 that can not hash as it doesn't display any hashing boards. I flashed the ROM with:
antMiner_S320140811.bin
antMiner_S320140826.bin
antMiner_S320141013.bin
antMiner_S320141024.bin
antMiner_S320141126.bin
I've also tried the reset option from the GUI (button doesn't work),

Don't suppose anyone has tried the factory reset yet?
The factory reset doesn't work for me, the button "S2" does absolutely nothing. |

Just the bad one is removed.
All the firmware releases are clearly there if you look at the web page correctly. It really makes no difference what time I post. The simple fact is, you said the firmware had been removed. It clearly has not. Well, the firmware was actually removed from the site at some stage, just that it has now been re-uploaded (I guess when the latter Nov 2014 release was ready). It is just mind-boggling for bitmain to re-upload the clearly broken / buggy / useless fimware back into public domain. I just can not fathom any usefulness / value this has or can have for the user. For bitmain, of-course, this can spike sales for replacement boards when users have bricked their original ones. Agreed, all of the firmware was removed yesterday and put back at some point last night. Either way, I now have a brick unit that I can not access LUCI... |

The Oct. firmware renders the reset button inoperable, try the Aug. firmware.
I don't think that the version matters, I just flashed with antMiner_S320140826.bin and my reset button (S2) doesn't do a damn thing and I still don't have chains showing up in the lower portion of the screen:  |

Okay well I have 13 s3 running.
Randomly 1 2 3 etcc will just stop hasing down to like 50ghs or will half and run around 200-225ghs....
I have tried spreading them through different circuts, still have the same problem. This problem is geting very annoying and I have to cycle my setup once per day. Not fun for a mine I want to run auto pilot.
Please advise. I have an asus rt-n12 router. Could too many connections be possible? I am running 4 switches offf this router totalling 14 machines now.
I have also email bitmain. This is driving me crazy.
This has been happening on 2 of my units since I installed the new bios, one unit seems to have bricked as of yesterday, I changed the other unit to a older bios. I seem to be running stable on antMiner_S320141024.bin for the last 6 hours. |

The LED next to C31 is flashing green. Nothing happens when holding down the reset button S2 for 3 seconds or more.   |

Both with "Keep Settings" checked and unchecked.
Do you think that a reset will address this?

I have 5 S3 units that I upgraded, for some reason I got lazy and didn't get around to upgrading the last unit until this past Sunday. I used the most recent flash "antMiner_S320141126.bin" and everything ran fine for the last 2 days. I noticed that the speed was winding down when I went to look at my control panel on a pool that I was mining. I've since re-flashed numerous times both with "keep" and "do not keep" the current configuration checked. I have also ran the unit on a known good power supply, tried pointing the unit to all of the pools that I use and I still have issues. The unit no longer shows either chain information. I reset all of the wires on the unit, left it unplugged for 2 hours and I still encounter the same issue... Any thoughts? |

What is the easiest and fastest way to convert BTC to USD and then have the USD sent to a bank or PayPal?

having a problem with one of my s3 upgrade kits, does anyone know how to fix this? I think the issue is related to the fact that the miner status screen is showing 4 chains:  Has anybody figured out what's causing this problem yet? send a pic of the miner control board and ur set up it really looks like you might have made a wrong connection Here's a picture. Their aren't very many connections, they look like they are correct to me:  Do you have all 4 power ports active? I'm only running 1 on each side... |

Did you email their support? They got back me somewhat quickly. Did you try re-flashing with the S3+ firmware and make sure to uncheck "save settings" again? This may resolve the issue...

I reflashed the unit and had the same results when I pointed the miner at BFG Miner 4.8.0 in proxy mode... I tried pointing the unit directly at GHASH and its hashing around 470 GH/s.
I guess there's some limitation in BFG Miner?
