I just find soccer so hard to make picks on. Have had serious losses in the past even on games with really good odds. Will watch for a few days, and will give it a try then
Thanks
245  Economy / Goods / Re: BitDroneStore - Buy Drones with Bitcoin on: January 18, 2015, 11:51:44 AM

meh, site is defunct anyway, so its not like we are luring in victims, but feel free to start a new thread and link it here.

There is actually a thread on drone footage by devthedev here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=920235
I think he wouldn't mind discussion other drones on there.
246  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Ponziness | 130% Return | Manual Till sites up! on: January 18, 2015, 11:07:04 AM
I don't see why would people want to risk money on a ponzi by someone with a negative trust due to some other reason(other than being accused of running a ponzi like others )  .
247  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of SPORTSBOOKS. Input from players and books wanted. on: January 18, 2015, 11:05:28 AM
Nitrogen has been modifying its bets for a lot of sports with bad odds. Some sure shot bets have been removed. Can't find them anymore.
248  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ★★★PONZICLOUD.ORG★★★ | Bitcoin Cloud Service | 200+% | No rounds | on: January 18, 2015, 11:04:10 AM
Investing in Ponzis with 200% return is a greater risk as less number are guaranteed returns becuase the bankroll would become insoluble sooner.
249  Economy / Goods / Re: BitDroneStore - Buy Drones with Bitcoin on: January 18, 2015, 11:02:55 AM
bebop is fine if you want a flying camera, and I can appreciate many people want a flying camera, sometimes I want one too.
But its not what you want to fly, dynamically it just doesnt compare to 250 quads. I mean you cant even fly acro mode with it -and no, pressing a button to do a preprogrammed flip isnt flying acro. Did you see any of the video's I linked?

Doesn't that same argument also apply towards  DJI quads ? They also don't fly really fast, and are essentially only worth for recording .
I have been actually arguing to purchase a bebop , but the airdog looks really nice too. Just waiting for a few reviews before purchasing it.
PS: Best to continue the discussion in the off-topic section rrather than bumping this again Smiley
250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin WesternUnion like service on: January 15, 2015, 08:55:51 AM
I'm not sure if this forum or the Bitcoin Discussion forum would be the better place for this thread.

I was just wondering if anyone has created a bitcoin equivalent of Western Union.  It seems like kind of a no-brainer given the fees WU charges.

...Well, sort of, anyway.  Given how volatile bitcoin is, if you're truly wanting to give someone the same amount of money in the fiat currency that you sent, the site may have to do some sort of hedging to compensate for bitcoin's volatility.

In theory, if a service like this doesn't exist, creating one would have no effect on the price of a bitcoin.  The person sending money would buy x bitcoins and send it to the person in the foreign country, who would then sell the bitcoins - in other words, the two transactions would cancel themselves out, unless the receiving party decides to keep any bitcoins.

Does anyone know if this type of service exists?  If it doesn't, and anyone's feeling entrepreneurial, feel free to use my idea and try and create said service / site.  It really seems like it ought to be a natural market for bitcoin.
What snarlpill said.
Also if people go about creating a bitcoin WU , then they will probably charge another fees on top of the transaction which would make it different.
A better service, might be to have live conversion counters, where people instantly sell their BTC for cash and don't have to go through all the hassle.
251  Economy / Goods / Re: BitDroneStore - Buy Drones with Bitcoin on: January 13, 2015, 12:43:48 AM
Waiting for Airdog to hit the stores. I wish I was attending CES to have a look at it . Now I got to wait for it to launch and all the reviews to come in, before I can see it.

The Airdog is very meh. If you want a consumer-grade quadcopter with follow-me and waypoint functionality, buy yourself a 3DRobotics Iris+ and you're sorted.

Just saw this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yOCTgVqmeQ . Really impressive. 750$ is a very good price too .
Thanks for telling us about it.

which shut down and scammed users .So he is just looking for the next target.

I have seen this 1 BTC user kicking around a bunch in threads, in short all the above data means is the user plays multiple games, so he received a payout (along with a number of other users) from another Ponzi, and kicked some into this..

Need something more than that..

Nope, the https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=920260.120 thread was locked, after scamming I believe. The remaining money , was transferred to the LQz address just to scam again later and as bait.
I am still verifying a few things and will update. But just put this to warn users not to fall for it.

User lolikop scamming with Ponzis

In this thread he posted that he deposited 1 BTC , just to attract more people.
But
His address used to depsoit is: 1LQzWSmbEbzsqGM1ET3Sb2hMebntW4K7bd
That address received a deposit recently, from

Also just quoting this:
Quote

This is true, but that address was the last address where money was transferred to after cryptoponzi shutdown after scamming . I will just check and make sure , and update here.

EDITS :
THe address which lolikop used to deposit, has been funded by 1FsVcdeHbpvUVT3gjeuVR2ZSDnpcsJMsLL (The bottom most/first transaction , follow it back )  , which is also involved in a scam accusation here  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=744692.msg8460225#msg8460225

I might be wrong on this, but just thought better to post than having people lose money on it.
Looks like people don't really care on the main thread .So I am just going to lock this and let naive people get scammed.

256  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 11, 2015, 08:45:14 PM
Worse then the colluders and soft players in the mtts are the blatant scammers. Its a  shame that seals does nothing and lets them operate with impunity though I understand seals mgmt doesnt want to err and accuse an innocent player so the mgmt policy is not to get involved  in side deals. Without side deals new players have a really difficult time getting money on and the opportunists that scam them are operating with impunity and voracity.  There are a few people that have been going from screen name to screen name in the 2 plus years I have been on seals with the sole intent of building reps running long cons and scaming people in 250 dollar transactions and up.

THe way this ez to spot scheme works is after a scammer scams someone for 250 usd or more the scammer  will open another seals screen name. He will then go to seals deals and wot and start doing trade after trade usually bogus and leave comments like sent chips for 250 usd worth smooth transaction, did chop, did trade without escrow  building up his trust and rep and keep doing this until finds a victim. There are several accounts that will leave these type of messages poffering up false rep and catching suckers.

One person that has been extremley active the past few months  is a player by the name of coldxcall. He has spawned from the above scenario from other names like FLIPACHIP, STACKNCHIPs and POK3god. GLitch can confirm as has been called out by the community and dissapears into another scam name repeating the seals wot trust . THere is not a chance that I have accused this person unfairly as is backed up by glitch in seals deals when glitch was helping ender with wot.

As long as seals admin doesn't get involved these same groups of players will continue this scheme as they have done for months and months with impunity leaving seals players at risk to be scammed over and over which is precisely what has been happening. There are more players then the above doing this the above player just happenes to be the most prolific at this point. Easy to spot as have to enlist seals deals in order to perpetuate this well oiled scam. THe person I have mentioned above is on to his next screen name . He is an active ring and mtt player if he is doing these scams ripping people off its a good bet he is colluding in the mtts and ring games he is in as well.

One thing seals could do is make the multiple account policy strict by only allowing 2-3 multiple accounts. That would atleast not let scammers create multiple account.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to categorize bitcoin topics? on: January 11, 2015, 08:35:18 PM
Hi everyone. I have a question. Bitcoin is a big topic and I'm looking for help to categorize major categories and its topics related to bitcoins. It shouldn't be very detailed, but enough to make 5-15 videos (2-15 mins each) videos for each topic under a certain category.
I really like what bitcoin.org has, but still need help with topics.

Their categories are next:
Individuals
Businesses
Developers

which makes a lot of sense in my opinion.

I'd also add
Bitcoin for Schools (or just Schools)

Now, what kind of topics would you add under each category?
I could give you a few examples, but it would be nice if you can write a few topics for each category that worth 30-60 minutes of video tutorials.

Thanks in advance!

There could be many more topics or sub-topics that can be made. But currently, the most used ones have been applied .
Even now for a newbie it becomes hard to browse to the right part of the forum easily.
258  Economy / Services / Re: ➫ ➬ Lucky Bit Signature Campaign ★ Earn up to 0.1BTC every month ★ Open Now! on: January 11, 2015, 05:17:41 PM

● Users registered on or before 11-01-15 will be honored as advertised (0.1BTC or 0.05BTC).
● Senior-level payments will be increased to 0.125BTC. There will be 15 of these slots.
● Full Member-level payments will be increased to 0.075BTC. There will be 15 of these slots.
● Available 0.05BTC slots are immediately upgraded.
● 0.125BTC slots will become available as existing enrollments are paid.

Can we re-enroll today itself ?  I have the signature on for the past 13 days in this period. If I was to enroll as a new full member today then that would mean I would earn the same amount by 11th of next month either way. However due to the increase in pay and the possibility of the famous campaigns like bitmixer closing down, there would be more competition to get in towards the end of the month(28th when my enrollment ends) , and since I intend to continue with the campaign , it would be difficult to get in then.

260  Economy / Goods / Re: BitDroneStore - Buy Drones with Bitcoin on: January 07, 2015, 10:27:53 PM
This makes me want to start my on drone store accepting BTC...

Please do, it angers me too with all the scammers around.
Really tempting, I will have to look into the matter and see if I can do it cost effective Tongue

On cost effective i suggest the X5 - http://www.amazon.com/Syma-Channel-2-4GHz-Explorers-Copter/dp/B00K5Y22VG/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1420601400&sr=8-5&keywords=x5

They make a regular model and a camera model for a little higher.   50-60 dollars and it is a heck of drone for the money.  I have played with it inside and out.  Even in heavy wind it slowly made its way through the air just harder to control.    For not spending much it is a whole lot of fun especially if you get the camera model.

Waiting for Airdog to hit the stores. I wish I was attending CES to have a look at it . Now I got to wait for it to launch and all the reviews to come in, before I can see it.
