So from now, I earn less than 10$ a day with my 970, my 1070, my G1820 and my i5-3570k. So I gave up mining. It was fun, I made about 0,15BTC in about 24 hours, nice.
In the beginning of Crypto we also mined coins for profit...later with powerfull special hardware but now those days we only POS staking some coins for profit (Like Decred and some other coins). but the last few years we can make a lot more profit with trading older "stable" coins (age 1 year>). With trading in the proper coins you can double your wallet balance in 1 or 2 months! Maybe become ZEC ZCASH a good trade currency next year...We will see... I don't like PoS coins, as I need some knowledge that I don't have to choose the coin. Also, it is riskier than mining.

I like the addition of the pre-defined 1070 patern very much . Could you also please add ZCoin (XZC) to your individual calculators ? As far as I can tell ZCoin is CPU only? Last time I checked it had no gpu miners available, so cant really add it to WTM. Yeah, only CPU, and why I love it. What make it impossible to add to it ? Mining follows the same process, no ?

BTW GPU GTX960
Could you please tell me what is your configuration and you're miner, so I could sort what is the problem ? use nheqminer-master /nheqminer -l zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -u XXX.1 -p 1 -t 4 sorry i am a Newbie with mining by the way win7 64bit system If you're on Windows you don't need to put the "/" at the beggining ! That's for Linux users.

Hi all,
2 questions please about ZCoin mining :
1) Is there others optimized miners than the CPUMiner from OCMiner (SuprNova) ? Windows ? Ubuntu ?
2) Is there some project(s) of GPUs Miners ? Windows ? Ubuntu ? AMD ? NVidia ?
Thank you :-)
You can try this one which has slight improvements to it: https://github.com/Optiminer/cpuminer-xzcNo GPUminers. I've also spoke to the core devs on this and they confirm that they're working on MTP algorithm. i recommend everyone to use joblos miner, it contains optiminers avx2 improvements and displays H/s Thanks for the plug. Just to be clear the optimizations to Lyra2 were mine, first implemented for Lyra2RE and Lyra2REv2. Optiminer improved it a little for zcoin and I ported his improvements back into cpumier-opt. It includes AVX and AVX2 unfortunately the zcoin implementation of Lyra2 is extremely memory hard so the bottleneck is memory bandwith, not the CPU, and the optimizations don't produce a measurable improvement. E series i7 CPUs with 4 channel memory controller may do better but I have no data to confirm. There is no GPU miner and never will. The memory bandwith demands of the algo would severely limit its performance, more than Zcash which uses another memory hard algo. Also the algo has no future, after Zcoin switches to MTP I doubt anyone else will ever use this version of Lyra2 again. I wasn't aware of that MTP algorithm ? Do you have a clue about it ? I find that the actual algorithm is very sympatic, that's what make me like ZCoin.

Though there was some little problems by the past with Suprnova, now all is fine and working well. I get a payment in about ten minutes.

Hey guys you can try buying hash @ genesis mining. I got my first payout of 0.00011433 ZEC for 0.85 h/s. They are paying out fine with daily payouts. its starting @ 0.6 h/s for $29. at current rates its ROI in 90 days. No minimum payout and mining trouble nor any daily fees. they are offering 1 month free mining over contract to compensate for slow start low payouts.
You can use my referral code to get 3% off: 9yx2ib
NEVER go there. Cloud mining contracts will never ROI. The price is way too high, and will continue to go down each hour. For OP, I recommend you Suprnova, with a 0,001 ZEC minimum payout threshold. Only the frontend is down, the servers are still counting your shares, so there's no problem.

OMG. This is the first a project that I have seen, very bombastic. It's crazy 18 BTC/ZEC amazing! Price wont hold there. Better mine for short term, say 4 months at www.Zcash-Miner.com. Rates are still reasonable @ 0.0125 BTC/hash/s. I have 100 hash/s with them and have mined ~0.005 Zec so far. Is this good? in what time frame? you should do 0.015 a day with 100h/s if 1 hash is 0.0125 that thing is a scam, you are paying 1.25 btc to mine 0.015 zcash a day, which are worth only 0.075 Well, difficulty is climbing all the way, so I don't think we can make calculations on a whole day. As for me, I count on what I earn on an hourly basis. I have around 60 Sol/s, and for now I earn 0,00026407 ZEC per hour with that. What do you think of that ?

That means my cards are not near what they should be getting with nheqminer at all.
I confirm it. They're pushed at about 60% of their power and they're running at around 40% of their TDP.

I've tried to find the information in the OP, but wasn't satisfied of what I've found. I'll very soon be a Hero Member, in 11 days exactly. What will happen then ? Also, I'd like to wear the avatar from now, would it be possible ?
When your rank upgrades, I'll make the change in the spreadsheet, so you'll be paid at Hero rates for that month. Also, you're welcome to wear the Rollin avatar. Let me know if you decide to do so, so I can make that change on the spreadsheet as well. Ok, nice, I'll tell you when I'll become Hero Member. Yes, I want to wear it. I have just added it .

Radeon R5 ? How old is that thing ? I doubt pretty much that you'll even make the mining software work.

Interesting informations. I did not know that and was used to press the number to disable it. I'll add that to the command line the next time I get to the mine !

This coin needs some serious PR... It's a shame it's drowning in a sea of FUD. and why are the largest investors silent? I don’t get it.
Zcoin is already doomed. Thanks all who bought my coins range 0.011-0.08 Remember: Always sell at initial price Every coins. NEVER HOLD ANYTHING at initial price hype. Always sell and maybe then get in back later with double position. That's the scheme of a traditionnal altcoin, which isn't the case here. I think we'll greatly benefit from the high price of ZCash, since we're a fork.

I think the reason why you are hashing so well over is because you have Hynix memory ! Mine, non Hynix (Elpida, right ?), are hashing at 28,6 MH/s for 95W.
Maybe you can reduce the voltage further to save some more power consumption. Some people do that. The voltage is the thing that is counted in mV, right ? I've not yet touched to this parameter, by fear of doing some big mistake. mV are millivolts, 1V = 1000mV. Honestly the worst thing that can happen if you go too low is your card won't boot, hence why I only buy cards with dual bios. Leaves a lot more room to play around My 4x RX470 8Gb (Sapphire) rig hashes at 114Mh/s (28.5-6/per card), 530W at the wall. Each card is around 115-120W. I've done it the proper way though by setting a mV offset directly in the bios using a hex editor rather than playing around with polaris. It's been ultra stable for 2 weeks. So finally my setup is better than someone's else one . Currently, I'm at 28,6 MH/s for 95W. Did you only played with the mV or did you changed something else ? I'll try to reduce again my consumption by removing a few mV.

So a little off-topic,
Why is this whole ZCASH craze all of a sudden?
Is it because it was mentioned during Dev con 2 and people think its like Ethereum 2.0 ? Or is it because its suppose to replace DASH/XMR for the dark coin markets with its Zero proof technology?
Because its really nuts how popular Zcoin has gotten and how people are going bonkers of ZCASH cloud mining.
Volume. Volume drives mining prices. No one would care about this coin if there was $500 of volume per day. It's all about what happens to be snowballing at the moment. If the volume dies out, the hype and coin will too. I doubt about your statement. Volume was never that high as it is now, but price took a big nasty hit.
