241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been scammed? or almost? on: October 02, 2018, 03:18:44 PM
Its also a matter of fact that a luck depends too in this case.I remember when I was a newbie i supported few projects and invested in many sites exchanges.Never really cared for trading in the past and lost some.Slowly and by learning each day now I had almost minimized the possibility of getting scammed or loosing money.Crypto is something which is very volatile and really gives profit.Today i am here only because of the bull run I guess or I also would have quit the crypto world. As each day number of users and rising and so the number of scammers too.We had to be very alert and cautious while dealings crypto.Be safe and happy trading/mining all.
242  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why did you have faith in btc? on: October 02, 2018, 03:00:39 PM
Bitcoin itself is something that had provided financial freedom to many people even many have taken crypto as profession in terms of livelihood.
Bitcoin/blockchain is something many of us put our trust and that's the main reason.I had always considered btc to be more secure and profitable than other banking or investment.People who had seen and gained a little profits from btc and who believes in the technology will always always stick to btc no matter how stagnant and worst market seems because ups and downs are a major factor which keeps its interesting and going.
With each passing day scammers and fake exchanges and many other things are coming up so wee need to be very safe.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Or Trading? on: October 02, 2018, 02:47:10 PM
Trading is always very useful when it comes in the terms of making profit. But sometimes doing bounty and airdrops are also good and it is really free money. The problem lies in the trust issue, there had been and also now many projects which had failed/fails and unfortunately after the end of campaign people usually don't get paid.So its own responsibility to choose a good project and earn some handful of bounty which can be used later.
And in case of trading every now and then the market gets stagnant so we have to be patient and wait for the right moment. So in the meantime we can do some bounty hunting.Doing simultaneously both will definitely give some bucks.
244  Local / India / Re: STAY AWAY FROM ZEBPAY on: October 01, 2018, 02:48:54 PM
I have a friend who transferred some funds to Zebpay but never purchased Bitcoins with those funds.  So he had INR balance on Zebpay. Spoke to their customer service today who informed him that he will not be able to do anything right now because INR withdrawals are stopped and he cannot purchase BTC also becuase trading is stopped. This is horseshit and they are holding his funds to ransom.

First of all one it was one of the fastest purchase and selling site because it didn't had p2p.In the past they had notified to withdraw money many times. After ban the trades were being done he should have traded with tusd and trasferred the tusd amount to any other wallet or exchange for example wazirx. And already they had stated that no trade deposit withdrawal nothing will be done, only crypto wallet deposit and withdraw will be carried out.I don't know why people waited so long with their INR.Its really pathetic.People who either have loads of cash or very very tiny amount only they will do things like that.I guess nothing can be done at the present moment.Good luck I wish your problem gets solved.

it is peculiar how you have chosen to take such a defensive stance for such a scammy and shitty company like ZebPay.  they may have notified to withdraw, but (let's call my friend Joe) Joe is not into crypto at all, he simply wanted to buy a small amount of BTC.  He has a regular business which keeps him very busy and a wife who leaves him with no time.  certainly some fault lies with Joe who transferred the INR to Zebpay and left it lying there for months, ignoring notifications. however i don't think such behaviour can be called 'pathetic', perhaps lazy at the most.

on the contrary, an official response from Zebpay at this stage saying "nothing can be done, withdrawals and trading is currently closed." is rather pathetic. they need to figure out a way to give him his money back!  there was no crypto transaction made in this case.  they cannot and should not say there is no solution to their customers. i'm sure Joe is not the only one in this situation.

Really glad you shared the news and one more latest update is that they had stopped TRUE USD trading.
As stated zebpay does not use and never had used the p2p platform in its exchanges so trading was quite fast.
But one thing the prices were always high.
I don't think the people who were holding money and couldn't withdraw had already transferred their funds through true usd by gladly/voluntarily buying TUSD at high price because when the news came and panic started i don't think people waited for this day.
And as the supreme court decision is on the way just a few days to go,making such announcements will rarely do any benefit to the users.
Its just a simple way/strategy to remain in good note and keep its customer base.

As soon as they published this news they made the prices far below the prices listed in other exchanges.
So if any people had stuck with any crypto they too have to now sell in lower price.

ITS nothing just simple business.

Have a nice day all.

I also find very peculiar when someone has money and forget about it.As I said in earlier people who either have loads of money or a very very tiny amount will forget. Its not the defensive stance or something it about what is right and what is wrong.Crypto world is something we have to keep a bit updated.Earlier post please read I had stated what wrong zebpay is doing ??so do you really think I am taking sides.LOL Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
Its human tendency they never accept their mistakes and try to finger-point others. Please read before making any conclusion.
The crypto banning and all have been an issue for more than 6 months and in 6 months didn't happen to look for money so busy wah bhai wah
New movie coming - crying baby girl LOL.....😂😂😂😂😂,crying baby girl user ignored.,keep crying
Don't you think at least once he should have checked what solution can be made.
Defensive or offensive please don't make it your personal opinion,Each statement stated is based on facts.

245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: October 01, 2018, 02:33:40 PM
Both money and bitcoins are necessary for us.Bitcoins is not accepted everywhere and fiat currency is still the mode of payment for maximum things.
So debating on which one safer is really not valid at all. Both are two very different of its kind.Crypto had,is and will give profits far more than any banking system so here lies the point are you willing to take a little risk ?
Bitcoin is always safer above any banking because it has the plus point of anonymity.Keeping crypto in exchange in the case and at that point crypto becomes vulnerable because any exchange can get hacked and people will loose their investment. But if you keep your hard earned money in your hard wallet then that is most safest way to retain funds.
246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Trade By The News, Follow The Price Action on: October 01, 2018, 02:27:00 PM
The main problem lies today if of fake news. Many scammers genuinely spread the fud about any exchange and sometimes about shitty coins and people had to suffer loss.I remember  when I was very newbie had some bad experiences and suffered some loss. For example there are lot of shitty coins out there and each day new one emerging and so the fake news of their soft/hard fork.Even many times during airdrops people keep their money in false exchanges and their money gets scammed. So its really our responsibility to do our own research and take actions.Mere listening or seeing news should not be the only criteria to take action.Technically we also have to see the reason for any event.
Be safe happy trading/mining all.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I sell my BTC? on: September 29, 2018, 02:45:04 PM
it is possible to withdraw only 50% of your money and keep the other 50% from the initial investment of BTC
Of course you can.
You need to elaborate the situation if you are facing any problem.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: September 29, 2018, 02:39:59 PM
I will retain 10% of my holdings and definitely sell rest when the percentage gets increased more than 50%. Recently we all faced the situation few days back when two crypto exploded and many made profits.
Things like this will always keep happening in this crypto world and that is what it makes it interesting. Now there are so many crypto out there and its really not possible for anyone to keep himself/herself updated on every coin.So the chances of getting such good offer also minimizes. But one thing is sure that if anybody keeps hold of some coins having good rankings they are bound to give profit in the long run and also you need to believe that project and then we all need a bit of luck.Good luck to all. Smiley
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero a Good Investment? on: September 29, 2018, 02:22:59 PM
"The privacy afforded by Monero has attracted illicit use by people interested in evading law enforcement during events such as the WannaCry Ransomware Attack, or on the dark web buying illegal substances".

Now as we know it is one of the very private and anonymous coin it will have a great market and of course its price will rise in the long run.
Now from my personal experience for short term trading :-
I had invested 114 USD in monero and what I do is buy and sell i.e a simple day-trading technique.I just buy once and sell it the next day.
For the last 4 days each day I had earned 8-9$ with that 114$ investment.I am very happy with it.Earlier I tried to mine Monero but now-a-days with increasing complexity it does not worth it.So simply trading and HODL will definitely will give good results.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I sell my BTC? on: September 29, 2018, 02:12:18 PM
Generally when we come across many exchange trust is what the main concern so we must always consider the trading volume and traffic irrespective of their name/domain/popularity.This holds true when we visit for the first time for any exchange to create account or register. Its always better to go with the exchanges listed in the below mentioned thread by one of the fellow member

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5023857.0

And personally I had always considered local bitcoins to be one of the best exchange site.
Never go for direct cash transaction it had always been risky. You can also ask your known friends here in forum and can trade with them. Many people have good rating and will be happy to trade.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: September 29, 2018, 01:59:34 PM
Get a hard wallet and yes your bitcoins are more safe now and you are now in control of your own funds.
But keeping bitcoin in a wallet will not yield you profit you need to work accordingly, keeping updated yourself about soft/hard forks and get some free bucks. On the other hand many banks gives you some amount/interest as per your investment.
So you see both are very two different things comparing on the basis of security/safety is no good and is baseless.
Well in terms of profit we can have a nice discussion.Crypto had given many people profit and in the coming years it will give more.
Moreover more than 60% of the countries have already stated that they do not consider crypto as legal tender but cannot ban.
Enjoy trading .

253  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: September 29, 2018, 01:13:12 PM
Greed for money will take over a person at some point of time/particular time and that is reason people make mistakes.
Get the list of some nice exchanges here:It might help many people of not getting scammed :-
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5023857.0
And considering the topic no one can ever learn 100% and thats true what we can all do is to minimize our mistakes and move forward, each day we should learn something and enjoy the cryptoworld.
Many times scammers spread fud and wrong news gets viral making people suffer. So its responsible of each one of them to do our own research and continue our work.

255  Other / Archival / Re: The Founder of Bitcoin on: September 29, 2018, 12:51:02 PM
Bitcoin is an unregulated digital currency that can be used to purchase goods, services online, illicit drugs online etc.It began in 2009 and transactions were anonymously. The anonymity makes it easier for some Bitcoin-users to do many wrong activities.
On the other hand Bitcoin is being recognized as a growing, powerful technology that is helping many small businesses to flourish.
In the past we all know about the silk road trades and the invention of bitcoin seems like that it had been created solely for that purpose but as time passed by slowly it became mass adoption and now its almost spread at each and every corner of the world.
And as long as people are making money no-one really does not care about his/their identity.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be great again on: September 29, 2018, 08:47:53 AM
bugs occurring then getting fixed,system/algorithm everything getting update slowly steadily building for great future, market ups and downs all these are ought to happen.Price sky rocketing, bull and more such things makes the crypto world a very interesting place.
Xrp being used as digital payment and also minimizing i.e. being cheap considered while making payments with coins makes it a very promising coin.
Also Fiat currency provider could not find much cheaper solutions so price will gonna rise much more than it is now.
And don't forget what happened last year around December.May be we can see another bull run then after we can enjoy GOT series next month Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin keeping fingers crossed.
257  Local / India / Re: How do I sell Bitcoin in India? on: September 28, 2018, 02:43:27 PM
Localbitcoin is not easy place to sell your bitcoins/satoshis. As it turns out if a buyer is interested in the deal then you need to put your bitcoins in escrow kind of account of localbitcoin. If buyer cancels the deal last moment then your bitcoins will be stuck there with localbitcoin and it will be cumbersome to get back to your wallet again.
At this moment if you could find a bitcoin trading group on telnet or whatsapp then again trust is bit issue. Looks like selling in person is better if someone from those bitcoin/altcoin trading group is in near vicinity.

That's true with bitcoin emerging the list of scammers also emerging everyday. You will find  a lot of scammers soon I will be uploading a list of few scammers with their bank details and name that I had confronted with.
As peer to peer has both positive and side effects. In many cases some idiot peers do not feel the urge to confirm, even some scammers will show you different proofs showing money was not credited.Mainly problem arises while depositing so you see the trust issue comes in every scenario and its getting tough each day.Today zebpay also shut down its operation and will discontinue all.Still things are very confused and each day getting more and more tough giving scammers more opportunity.
258  Local / Press & News from India / Re: Why Indian People Is Not Accepting The Crypto on: September 25, 2018, 08:23:40 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=261598.20

have a look at it.

Yes I have friends and she/they had been doing crypto for years. We also traded 4-5 times.
If you start researching and have patience and zeal of course you will learn many things here as of I am learning here each day.

Stick to basic principles and you will surely make some bucks out of it.
we all here want more and more people to vouch for crypto and start using it afterall financial freedom is what everyone wants and of course anonymity is another most prime reason here. But as many people are still confused between ban and no ban condition,so many have put their thoughts in hold but soon time will change.Have a nice day all.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be great again on: September 25, 2018, 07:57:44 AM
From the very beginning itself ripple had been one of my favorite coin but unfortunately I missed the last one and was busy in other altcoins.
One more thing I noticed the price of electroneum also rose quite high but caouldn't figure out the reason, can anybody tell something about this ?

Ripple's unique technology of being used as digital payment is one of the very strong reason that it will rise to greater heights.
More and more institutions are coming in in the support of ripple and soon we will see the difference.

The Ripple network does not run with a proof-of-work system like bitcoin or a proof-of-stake system like Nxt. Instead, transactions rely on a consensus protocol in order to validate account balances and transactions on the system. And this is what makes ripple different.

260  Local / India / Re: There is no complete ban on VCs - RBI said in Supreme Court on: September 25, 2018, 07:48:17 AM
Employed in govt/non-government sector people always have tendencies to evade tax and thats the truth.More or less 50% genuinely pay their taxes.
For example in most of the private sectors they maintain 3 types of records-First one (originally what the pay to their employee),Second One(just for the sake of records),Third one(Records to be shown during audit and Income tax raid/policy).

So you see there had and always be loopholes and way out and money laundering will happen.
Now-a-days we see advertisement like PAYTM karo-
RBI only fears that soon the slogan may change to bitcoin karo and people will stop using banking services.

Example of their work -- banks and rbi

Aam logon(mango people) ki maro aur udhaari o Vijay Mallya/Nirav modi ko).

They fear giving financial freedom to people that is one of the main cause.
