At the current rate cryptos are moving it could. Not sure what will happen yet because most of the government hasn’t put any regulations on cryptos. There are so many new companies trying to implement Bitcoin. For example, Square the popular cash app allows its users to buy & sell Bitcoin now.

That being said, The future for Bitcoin is impossible to predict and right now I sense a crossroads for its future. Most likely, if it gains traction towards being a mainstream currency the banks and government will be heavily against it.

At todays price its a $1. But yeah you can't do anything with it for now. But who knows where it will be in 25 years. Might reach $25. No one is sure. This reminds me of this!

The price of electricity will not impact bitcoin. If the price becomes higher, some miners will drop out as it might not be profitable. Miners dropping out will decrease the difficulty so mining blocks becomes easier hence Energy cost will go down until it matches the value of bitcoin. It's a system that self-corrects.

From what I saw shape shift had paused BTC/BCH conversion. Might be due to a lot of orders which were back logged. Even the truncations were taking forever to confirm.

Ether is more of a platform to make decentralised apps rather than viewing it as a payment. So its not as volatile as the other big tops. Though any breakthrough in the technology we should ether price going high and reach stability.

So Bittrex Hawkeye must a millionaire by now I suppose? Why do people trust someone I don't get it. One one can predict the market how the prices fluctuates and by how much it will.

No one predict it. But if I would take a guess it would be no. The long delay and high transaction prices are making people to look into alternatives. Unless BTC comes up for a solution for these it will be difficult. Its impossible to send small transactions these days.
