241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple's Stablecoin: The future US CBDC? on: April 10, 2024, 07:53:25 PM
Ripple, Inc. recently proposed the creation of a USD-backed stablecoin. It aims to compete with already-established players (mainly USDT and USDC) on the market. For years, the XRP Ledger was believed to become SWIFT's replacement in the future. It hasn't materialized yet, but XRP is already used by many banks worldwide. It enables interbank payments at a fraction of the cost. Settlement times are near-instantaneous.
In my opinion, this really happened and Ripple continues to gain institutional trust, especially in this case from world banks, so there is no harm as a retailer, we are definitely trying to target Ripple on the list of assets that must be invested in. Because it is quite clear that adoption will definitely experience an increase in prices in the market. Ripple getting support to launch this automatic stablecoin will provide quite exciting competition to challenge USDT and USDC to show who can survive and get more attention. Moreover, bank users are used by all groups so it is not focused on crypto users alone, so adoption can be 2x that of USDT and USDC.

What a match from those four teams, it make people will be hard to predict the second leg results because they're equal.

I think we need to move on, two upcoming matches Atletico Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund and PSG vs Barcelona will be interesting to watch.

Both Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are inconsistent while both PSG and Barcelona are consistent because they haven't lose since February.

I predict, Dortmund will win and another one is draw.
I think from the last 2 matches, both teams played a game that was fun to watch for football fans. For me, the advantage in these 2 matches is that Munich and City avoided defeat at home to their opponents. And in the second leg, both teams will be much more enthusiastic in deciding whether to qualify next or not.

I think the teams entering the quarter-final phase are teams that are difficult to predict because they are the best teams in their respective leagues. For the two matches, PSG and Atletico, in my opinion, will be far superior, playing at their own home, of course they will be much more enthusiastic.
Agree, in general Bayern Munich and Manchester City benefit because their task in the second leg playing at home is to have the opportunity to provide more surprises. Apart from this draw, I was quite satisfied watching both of them, because the goals scored by each team were extraordinary, especially in Madrid match against Manchester City. Reciprocate goals, provide attacks, pressure and a rhythm of play that is not boring.

In my opinion Madrid who will be guests at Ettihad, will face a tough challenge. Considering that Manchester City played at the Bernabeu without Kevin De Bruyne, Pep troops were able to score 3 goals, so at Ettihad it is certain that Kevin De Bruyne will get more playing minutes. Apart from being a player, he is also quite good at analyzing the opponent's game. Now I understand why Pep didn't play KDB in the 1st leg because he was focused on analyzing Real Madrid's game.

I'm not getting tired to see Leverkusen dominance at all honestly.  Tongue  Because it is a huge change for me after being fed up with watching Bayern Munich become champions every single season.

I'm really curious about what the secret behind Xabi Alonso's success is. It seems like he has built a really solid system by mixing the things he learned from the best managers while he was a footballer. I'm really keen on seeing what they will do next season not only in the Bundesliga but also the Champions League. If they still stay consistent then Leverkusen board would never want to let go of Xabi Alonso I assume.  Grin  I would also do the same of course.
I also hope so and with Leverkusen entering the UCL it will be on the list of teams that I will always prioritize next season. If I see Leverkusen seriousness, I enjoy the matches they always play. Both in the Bundesliga and European League the results are satisfactory. Like Leverkusen last match against Qarabag, with the score 2-1, and somehow Xabi was able to score 2 goals in a short time towards the end of the second half in the 93rd minute and 97th minute, thus changing the position to 2-3.

~~

Perhaps you don't realize it yet, but Ukraine has already lost this war. In hindsight, key events of this war so far were the battles of Bakhmut and Avdiivka. Ukraine lost so many troops trying to prevent Russia from capturing these cities that it's ability to fight on is greatly endangered. Ukraine needs at least 5000000 new recruits and at least half a year to train them, the time Ukraine doesn't have. Even if they will be able to recruit 500k people, this will ruin Ukraine both demographically and economically and it will de-facto cease to exist.

And the failure you mentioned, I don't see it frankly: Russia is moving slowly but steadily, pushing AFU further west. Russians are capturing a small town or two almost every day after the fall of Avdiivka. They have now reached a town of Chasiv Yar, fighting is going on in the streets right now. Realistically, Russians are going to capture it in like days, because AFU don't have resources to defend the city. They even have issues to defend bigger and more strategically important cities like Kharkiv, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. In Kharkiv, there is no internet, electricity, water. People are leaving en masse, many are trying to relocate to Dnipro. Real estate prices plummeted.

Regarding Kazakhstan, you're right in a way. Kazakhstan, Moldova and Armenia are the latest CIA projects and these countries are actively severing their ties with Russia now. Moldova is rumoured to be annexed by Romania soon, perhaps except two regions: Transnitria and Gagauz. So yeah, things are getting interesting.
Since the beginning of 2024, I no longer know much about the conflict that is going on, especially between Russia and Ukraine, even the media now seems to no longer report on it or indeed I don't look for it myself. Based on your very detailed narrative regarding the struggle for territory that Russia continues to control every day, it makes me wonder why Ukraine is still resisting. This means that instead of having to sacrifice many soldiers and civilians who had to be trained to fight, from the start Russia offered to solve this problem by taking up arms. My knowledge is minimal regarding the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, what I am saying is based on the views of ordinary people who see how bad it would be if many lives were sacrificed, and in any aspect Russia is clearly superior. As a result of this impact, the economies of each region, especially war zone areas which were previously fine, now have to accept the consequences of conflict which are increasingly unclear.

As for the impact on crypto, because the OP involves these variables, the long-term impact is not yet visible. Crypto market volatility is still healthy, in fact many crypto projects from these two countries also exist in the crypto market industry, which shows that the influence of this war is only focused on currency values and rising prices of basic commodities.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the best asset for investment currently? on: April 09, 2024, 09:34:52 PM
As you can see, unlike other Assets, Bitcoin is a decentralised asset and can't be created more, but increases in value when it's price is halved. But note that Bitcoin as an asset is very volatile in nature, therefore you shouldn't invest all your savings but a spare money you could lose without getting very emotional. However everyone needs to take advantage of this years halving and take profits to prepare for the next very early.
I would still prefer to pay taxes with the cash in my wallet rather than using Bitcoin as a payment option. Even if the government legalizes it, I will still hold Bitcoin and give them fiat money. In times like these, facing the halving governments are paying attention to Bitcoin as a tool to increase revenue, perhaps they are seeing glimpses of it. Whatever policy is implemented, cash is the solution to paying taxes, we must keep Bitcoin safely, let it grow, especially since price fluctuations are increasingly profitable, of course it is better to give banknotes to tax collectors according to the system they believe in from the start. The alibi of accepting Bitcoin is like taking advantage of the momentum they want to take from us.

Arsenal 1-2 Bayern Munich (HT)

Bayern Munich took the lead but Arsenal completely controlled the ball. I think Arsenal can equalize in the second half if the rhythm they play doesn't decrease. Bayern Munich only managed to score their second goal from the penalty spot so I still believe that their attack line was not very effective.

Madrid 2-1 Man City (HT)

On the other hand, Madrid managed to turn things around after conceding in the second minute and were lucky to score a goal well. Rodrygo added one goal, so far both of them are evenly matched and provide attacks to each other. In the second half, Pep Guardiola will definitely use De Bruyne to sharpen his attacks and Madrid will have to be more careful. Many times Bellingham was closely guarded by Ruben Diaz. So in the second half there will be many changes for each team.

How did you respond in the first half and was there a reversal in the second half?

When Kane was in Tottenham and was doing everything possible to win ordinary Premier League but couldn't and people think the team has always been the problem and he moved to Bundesliga, Bayern Munich use to be the best team there but no difference has been made since he reach there, they have to struggle with Arsenal in the Champions League to get true, I hope the same faith doesn't becomes that of Osimhen as everyone think that Napoli is now the problem.

There is no doubt that Bayern Munich became a better team with Harry Kane, but Harry Kane could not reverse the downward trend of Bayern Munich in recent years. They were champions for the last 11 seasons, but last season they won the Bundesliga with the help of luck in the last game. Harry Kane had proved for years in the Premier League that he was a world star with his goals. I think he did the same thing in the Bundesliga. Harry Kane is a bit too unlucky. Bayern Munich were unbeatable in the Bundesliga for years, but we have to admit that in recent years they have been on a downward trend, but even Harry Kane has not been able to reverse it. If Osimhen doesn't choose the right team, I don't think he will be able to achieve better success no matter what he does.
No matter how big Kane contribution, Bayern Munich has experienced a decline this season. So Kane cannot fully carry this club continuously if there are no changes in every line at Bayern Munich and the coach must be replaced immediately. Kane needs a more suitable partner and currently Bayern Munich players do not have the same quality. There needs to be a major upgrade to face next season, Bayern Munich is required to return the Bundesliga trophy and the solution is to improve the players and coaches. Kane's contribution does have a big impact but it won't stop there if in the end this season Bayern Munich loses the trophy. In the Champions League there is also no 100% guarantee of qualifying, facing Arsenal with their current strength will be quite difficult.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 09, 2024, 12:55:33 PM
It's pretty interesting to see Kane back again in north London, and this can be a good momentum for him to prove his worthiness by beating Arsenal again. It will have become a very important match to determine how big Bayern's chance is in qualifying for the semi-final. Bayern had a very good historical result against Arsenal, but I'm sure it will not work for the upcoming match, considering many changes have happened in both clubs. Bayern has a weaker mentality than Bayern used to. Arsenal is slowly but surely reaching its peak performance. I hope that bayern will be able to humiliate Arsenal in the upcoming game at Emirates.
Although many people always said if Emirate is a scary place for any team, Bayern seems strong enough to get a draw against Arsenal there. I will be so happy if bayern will get draw against arsenal.
BTTS is likely to happen considering the bayern is still good enough when it comes to the UCL.
Or conversely, Harry Kane will bring his curse to the UCL competition by making Bayern Munich regret twice after failing to conquer the Domestic League. lol

Arsenal are very confident and playing at home means the hosts have to show a solid game. Bayern Munich is no longer as scary as before and of course this is an opportunity for Arsenal to respond to what they felt before. However, UCL will show the best strengths of each team, even though Bayern Munich appear inconsistent, they just need to build cooperation for today's match.

Apart from that, the aura of intense competition emerged again in another match between Real Madrid and Manchester City. It seems that it will be quite difficult for us to predict the result of this match, Manchester City is still in ideal condition to provide a surprise at the Santiago Bernabeu. And for the hosts, especially Ancelotti, they have to be careful because the results of the first leg at home are quite important for them to win.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 08, 2024, 07:45:56 PM
This season is a very good opportunity for Arsenal to take advantage of their match with Bayern Munich because Bayern Munich's conditions are very different. This means that Arsenal has a chance to beat Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of this season's Champions League, although Arsenal themselves must also remain vigilant about Bayern Munich even though the team has started to lose frequently in its own domestic league. Because when playing in the Champions League, Bayern Munich could come back and surprise many people.
Of course, Arsenal will not waste this opportunity because Bayern Munich itself is not in good condition in the domestic league, but I think this is because Bayern Munich seems to no longer have the enthusiasm to play in their domestic league because they have no chance of winning the title they have won. secured by Leverkusen, therefore Bayern Munich played more relaxed because they had prepared all their energy in the UCL.

Arsenal should not be fooled by Bayern Munich's condition in the domestic league, this could be an inducement for Arsenal and make Arsenal fooled even though as we know Bayern Munich's performance is very strong in the UCL and I think Bayern Munich will use all their strength in that match but Arsenal's performance this season This also deserves appreciation and support so that Arsenal can return to the semifinals after not achieving that for a long time.
This is a plus point for Arsenal who are in a stable condition from all sides in order to gain an advantage in the match. I hope Arteta can maximize this opportunity well and bring the full 3 points.

My impression of seeing Bayern Munich's messy performance immediately reminded me of Harry Kane, because for the umpteenth time he was unable to lift the trophy even though he had changed clubs. It is true that Kane is extraordinary and has contributed many goals, but his hard work has been wasted in the Bundesliga because he doesn't really have the right coach who can utilize the abilities of each player, or indeed many of the Bayern Munich players themselves have lost their playing mentality. Maybe if Bayern Munich officials plan to change coaches, it would be a good idea for them to also upgrade some of their players who have been inconsistent this season.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 08, 2024, 07:22:44 PM
It means that Tuchel should be sacked because he does not know how to coach the players, and come up with a game pattern that would be favorable to them. Bayern Munich was not like this before, but is like after the arrival of Tuchel, the club have lost its quality.

I hope that Bayern Munich will be able to bring in a professional coach that will bring back the club strength to the way it was before. I would not be surprised, if they don't advance to the semifinals. Tomorrow is not far, and we will see what Bayern Munich will play against Arsenal in the Champions League.
Since the setbacks that Bayern Munich continues to experience, Tuchel fate has been in the balance and his chances of surviving for long are quite small. Unless he can win against Arsenal later in the Champions League, perhaps Tuchel will be given the opportunity to finish at the end of this season. It all depends on the future results that Bayern Munich gets, on the other hand, if they fail to score 3 points against Arsenal then Tuchel will certainly not be coaching next season. Becoming coach of Bayern Munich has quite serious consequences, from the start Tuchel realized that his strategy was at odds with Bayern Munich's style of play.

I was not surprised that Liverpool could not beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in their Premier League match yesterday. This season, since Liverpool could not beat Manchester United in the Premier League and FA Cup, I knew they would find it difficult to beat Manchester United in the Premier League. Even though Liverpool drew with Manchester United, the Premier League title race is wide-open because Arsenal and Liverpool have the same points.
And because Liverpool and Arsenal are the same on points, that will make the competition much fiercer for them in terms of winning trophies this season. Because I also still think there is one more team that Liverpool and Arsenal still have to take into account, namely Manchester City because that team is also only one point behind Liverpool and Arsenal. So the fight for the title for this season will continue to be fierce until the end of the season because the three still have points that are not much different.
What is clear is that losing 3 points from the match against Manchester United is still a big loss for Liverpool. Now that he has the same points as Arsenal, it will be a tough task for Klopp not to lose points again in the next match. Arsenal are also under the same pressure as they have to divide their UCL schedule. All the tough challenges for every team, including Manchester City, have to work a little harder than last season. Because today's competition will make it even more difficult for Manchester City to defend its title. The three teams have each played 31 matches, meaning the possibility of continuing to fight each other at the top of the standings is increasingly interesting and exciting.

I agree with you. He should reject Chelsea offer, it wont' be a good idea for his career. Osimhen must accept the offer from better teams that can make his career better. If he wants to play in EPL, it is true that he should move to Liverpool or Arsenal. I think these teams must be better than Chelsea, he won't win any title with Chelsea. Besides these teams will play in UCL, they are always competing for the domestic titles in the last 2 seasons. It looks a bright career for Osimhen if the joins Liverpool or Arsenal.

I don't know if Liverpool and Arsenal have made offers to sign Osimhen for the next season. But previously both teams already targeted Osimhen. I am optimistic Liverpool and Arsenal still want to improve their squads for the next season. They must plan to be more competitive and want to achieve better goals.
At Arsenal his position can still be replaced by Jesus because so far he has not performed according to expectations. Meanwhile at Liverpool, of course Mo Salah departure is the only ideal place for Osimhen to occupy. So it makes sense that these two clubs expressed interest in bringing Osimhen, especially since Arsenal and Liverpool will play in the UCL. Meanwhile, Chelsea will have to fight again from the start and it is not certain that they will be able to secure a UCL ticket next season.

It all depends on Osimhen decision, if you really want to compete in the most interesting league, of course you have to make a choice. However if on the other hand Osimhen doesn't feel brave enough to compete, PSG is a place for spoiled strikers, and you just need to sit back and get a big salary without having to worry about competing with other players in League 1.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 07, 2024, 01:46:26 PM
I will not try to convince you off your own decisions or opinions,  in between I'm no Arsenal fan nor Chelsea fan but I'm certain that moving to Chelsea is the best place for him. Don't forget Didier Drogba remains his idol and John Mikel Obi has said he will do all he can to see his Nigerian brother join his former club Chelsea.
~

What can you say about the fact that Chelsea does not participate in the Champions League and in European competitions in general? What is the point of Osimhen moving to such a club and wasting his golden years trying to rise with a middle-ranking club instead of immediately playing in a top club? Arsenal's prospects are now visible to everyone, while Chelsea are in the middle of the standings for the second year in a row and the likelihood that they will suddenly change their status is extremely low.
Chelsea is indeed in the middle of the table, but they still have a few games left, if they can win then their potential to rise is more reasonable. Newcastle with 31 matches, West Ham with 32 matches and Man United with 30 matches + 1 match today so there are lots of opportunities for Chelsea to improve their performance. So regarding Osimhen, I don't care where he will play in the future, what is clear is that if you want to continue trying something challenging, of course you need to choose one of the teams in the EPL. Arsenal are actually suitable but seeing as Arteta prefers to apply stability in every line then Osimhen will experience problems, Chelsea really needs a striker for next season. So it's not a target for this season, it's clear that you won't be able to get UCL or European League tickets. At least long-term targets can still be considered with Chelsea.
Everything also requires a process and it depends on Osimhen, is he the character of a player who wants to be instant or go through a bitter process first to become the best player?
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 07, 2024, 01:25:53 PM
Don't forget that Manchester United had this same weak defense when they beat Liverpool in the Fa cup. This same United had same weak defense when they played draw with Liverpool in the premier league when the met during their first meeting this season. United have the chance to inflict pain to Liverpool tittle hope because that's what rivals do. Manchester United and Liverpool are old rivals who doesn't want each other progress. Manchester United are on pressure because of the bad results they have been getting lately and they will want to correct it. Besides they have their own ambition of qualifying for an Europa league spot, so they don't want to lose to Liverpool. This game is might end in a draw. Ten Hag has to remove the pressure on his shoulder by producing a convincing result today.
Despite Man-United been on pressure to win today's game against Liverpool due to it's recent poor performance between Chelsea and Brentford, thats the same way Liverpool will also be on pressure wanting to win so as to be rank top of the premier league once again, as they are just 1 point against Arsenal, who happens to be the current club topping the league now. So it's really going to be a tough match today, of which I'm expecting either a draw or victory for Liverpool. As it will really take a miracle for Man-United to win this game, but however, in football nothing is impossible.
It is difficult to predict if the opponent is Liverpool, sometimes Manchester United, when faced with a strong opponent, can play to a draw, but it all comes back to the coach and his decision later on the field. Will Erik Ten Hag make the same mistakes as against Chelsea? Erik Ten Hag pulled his front line with players who were poor in attack. I even tried to predict a draw if I looked at the ambitions of each team which had a target of getting 3 points. Apart from that, it is possible that Liverpool will immediately step on the gas and bombard Onana defense. It's just a matter of how solid Manchester United's back line is, if they are able to withstand Liverpool's fast attacks, it's better to use Garrnacho and Hojlund to be ready to counterattack.

We can't compare Ligue 1 and the English Premier League, because if players want to get an extraordinary experience, clearly the English Premier League is the best choice, and so does Victor Osimhen. He has abilities that can develop further, and personally I would regret it if he chose Ligue 1 for his next competition, because I think it would hinder his development a little. Not without reason, because in Ligue 1 there is no tight competition so that will make it comfortable, and when players feel comfortable then they might become lazy.
Meanwhile, in the English Premier League, competition is very tight, if players are too lazy to practice then they will be far behind other players. There you can also form a very good mentality, because in almost every match, they will face opponents who are very likely to pose a very big threat to them. So in my opinion if Osimhen wants to move, then it is better to go to the English Premier League.
Even without bringing in a new striker, PSG will still be the team that dominates Ligue 1. Because there the competition is not as tight as the Premier League and I agree that these two leagues cannot be compared in terms of competition and also the players. EPL teams can be unpredictable teams and sometimes even those at the bottom of the table are still able to match the play of top elite teams. Meanwhile, in Ligue 1, I don't see that kind of competition, so if Osimhen wants to challenge himself to become a quality player, then the Premier League is a suitable choice. But if you just want to have a comfort zone, just choose PSG but that doesn't guarantee that he is a great striker in the eyes of other European clubs. Honestly in League 1 there is nothing interesting and it is very monotonous because PSG is the most dominant club for a long time and will continue to be the same.

Just opened the football channel and wanted to see the Crystal Palace vs Manchester City match but the score was already 1-0 after 3 minutes. Crystal Palace in the lead? I was quite surprised because Manchester City conceded quite quickly from a team in the middle of the standings. It's still too early so I'm sure Manchester City can turn things around. Moreover, 3 points in this match are quite important to be able to overtake Arsenal. In the 13th minute Kevin De Bruyne managed to break into the goal to make it 1-1. Betting on Manchester City winning is a safe bet, I don't want to take any more chances!!
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the halving already priced in? on: April 06, 2024, 11:42:08 AM
BTC has been "pumped" massively ever since the spot ETFs were approved in the US a few months ago. The rise has been exponential, making BTC reach a new ATH before the halving. This has never happened before in the history of crypto (AFAIK).

Considering that BTC is in a new ATH, I wonder if the halving is already priced in? If that's the case, then market prices will remain relatively the same post-halving. Don't you think?
Like the cycles we have gone through, the difference that is most difficult to predict is when the ATH has been reached while the Halving has not occurred. You could say that it violates the previous halving scheme which was basically Halving -> ATH but now it is reversed to ATH -> Halving, automatically our calculations will be reversed or even with a phenomenon like this the future cycle will also change. It makes sense what you say where it could be that the Halving is now relatively the same price. There is only one thing that makes me doubt, namely regarding adoption which is supported by the decreasing supply in circulation. In other words, there are 2 schemes, namely first, the price during the halving is relatively the same or vice versa the price will record new history again.

It was a crazy match... Before the game I also thought Chelsea couldn't win and expected a draw... I even made a bet that Man U would not lose with good odds of 2.0... When the score was 2:3 and there were 4 minutes of added time left, I switched off the broadcast because I wanted to sleep... How surprised I was this morning when I learnt that Chelsea managed to score 2 goals in 4 minutes... Man U are now on my black list... Grin
Correct. This is the craziest and most incredible match, adrenaline pumping etc, and all in one football match in the EPL league. Who would have thought that Chelsea would make a comeback at the last minute? It was incredible, and Palmer Cole made sure of it for Chelsea by scoring two late goals and breaking Man United's hearts. Including me because I bet on Man United winning, it was really painful but this match was exciting so the pain of losing the bet was relieved by the very impressive play of both teams.

This victory moved their position up to 10th in the standings, 5 points adrift of 6th place (Man United) with 1 match remaining. This gives Chelsea new hope, namely that European football is close, but they must continue to be consistent in the remaining 9 matches.

Let's see how many opportunities are open for Chelsea to follow Manchester United in the standings table. The reason is that the Blues only need one more win to be ranked 7th, because West Ham has played 31 matches, Newcastle has played 30 matches, and Brighton has also played 30 matches, while Chelsea has 1 match that is important enough to get 3 points. And if successful, Chelsea points collection will be 46 points which will immediately jump to 7th position behind Manchester United. This will be even more interesting because Chelsea actually has big hopes and open opportunities and only needs to win the next match against Sheffield United where in terms of performance, the Blues have the advantage. It seems that there will be a big threat on Manchester United side if this scheme is realized.
