241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Every cryptocurrency price is going down.... on: March 10, 2018, 07:58:51 AM
I bought Ethereum a few weeks ago for $949 and thought it was a steal. Now Ethereum is closing in on $700 even.

I thought I could save some losses by jumping ship into bitcoin when bitcoin was at $10,800. Now Bitcoin is crashing too.

...So.

That is what happens when you don’t tend to stick to the crypto in which you have invested. Just have faith and patience, your efforts will pay out. One more thing never try to change trains in between when market is volatile else you will be stuck somewhere in between and wont be able to catch either of the both trains, if you know what I mean. Just keep on buying when the market crashes cause the crash in market is a blessing in disguise. Just buy low and sell high.
242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: March 09, 2018, 05:07:31 AM
As I said in the title. I was interested in putting my money into Bitcoin because of the ever-increasing price.
But I want to know what the biggest risk is to hold Bitcoin?
I don’t really see risk in holding Bitcoin except that you might lose money when price goes down. Another thing is if the wallet happens to get hacked and you lose your Bitcoin, but let’s not go there, cause it’s less likely to happen as long as you’re using a secured Bitcoin wallet.
243  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and not Paying Taxes on: March 07, 2018, 06:13:18 AM
When you convert it to fiat, you pay tax on what you convert it. You don't have to pay on the Bitcoins you have.
Now you will have to pay taxes even on the cryptocurrencies you hold. Governments have started regulating the cryptocurrencies all over the world. The exchanges now will record each and every transactions that occur and will make it all transparent to government thus it will make people pay taxes for holding cryptocurrencies beyond a particular time period. Therefore people will no longer be able to hide their black money, sooner or later it will all come out.
244  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange to trade? Why? on: March 07, 2018, 05:36:55 AM
Would like recommendation on best exchange to trade on and reason why you believe the exchange is better than others?

The best exchange that I would recommend you to trade on is binance. Binance has been in the market for quite long and has provided its customers with satisfactory results. Binance is quite easy to use and the trades can be done very easily. Binance does not list any coin on basis of its name in market or so, it goes through stick voting for the enlisting of any crypto before its added on the exchange. Moreover my deposits and withdrawals have never been stuck in binance and have always been processed pretty fast.
245  Economy / Economics / Re: Armed robbers have raided the house of a British virtual currency trader on: March 06, 2018, 08:07:03 AM
I believe this guy's identity might have been leaked thru exchanges databases or other platforms that needs KYC. If not, only his close relatives, friends would have known his involvements in the cryptocurrency space. Either of this two might be the cause.
Either through exchange, or probably made some mistake declaring how wealthy he is in virtual currency. Some do that a lot which makes them an easy target. However, no one is safe; we just always have to be extra careful. We cannot trust a single person and it is usually best to keep somethings to you than announcing to the whole world. Like you said, even your closest friend or your family may be your enemy.
246  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit not for sale! on: March 06, 2018, 07:05:41 AM
This merit system is hopeless. They only made upper level profil's value much higher for buyers. I am not a buyer but in here every legendary person has a lot of sub accounts and triying to sell them.

Merit system will help everyone to write a better quality of the post which will be merited by people who like them your advice, suggestion, facts etc which you will be posting it. This will help those who are better than the others and thus it will not be easy for everybody to rise from here in the ranking system.

This merit system is indeed the best thing to do especially for the ones who are putting in their bets of efforts as they can get acknowledgement from others and can also get a chance of having extra money. However, no one can either sell or buy it as this is not something which can be bought. This will be injustice with the person from whom you are buying this as this is not your personal efforts.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: March 06, 2018, 06:35:46 AM
I don’t notice any effect. There isn’t much people using Bitcoin in my country, so it won’t be having that much effect. But if it in anyway does have an effect, I believe it might be a positive effect and not the negative type. Because if it does negatively, the government will do any possible thing to take it down.
I have seen a very significant change in the economic condition of my country since the time this crypto currencies have been introduced to this world and the time when the people living in my country started to know about it. However, still a lot of awareness is needed to be done as our economy can be made even better in the near future and for that all of us needs to contribute our efforts.
248  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: March 05, 2018, 11:11:31 AM
While I don't have many posts. I got involved in Bitcoin in 2013 and joined this forum in 2014. While I do not consider myself wealthy from Bitcoin yet. I do have an idea of how I would like to direct some of this new found wealth. I think most of the people who got involved early got involved for the right reasons. IE: To change the world and move humanity out of the control of the bankers. I am concerned that the new people coming may only be in to make money. I hope I am wrong, I really want this technology to be a force of good in the world and deliver economic freedom to the masses and the unbanked. My hope is everyone who was early, has some idea in mind that will help others. Maybe help your family, or a charity that you think isn't wasting money, or building a community swimming pool etc. If you have a lot of money think big and how you can change the world for the better. This is our chance!
This is the best thing that even if you've got wealthy for this activities you should not change your attitude and expand your blessings by sharing others. We should take a responsibility not only for become rich but also as a good samaritan.
It is no doubt our moral obligation that we all should take care of the ones who are inferior to us and that we need to help them in the best possible manner so that they may also have a chance of having a better living. Being rich does not only mean that you have to take care of your family but it actually means that you have to take care of others as well so that they may also have a chance of having a better living.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2018, 10:48:03 AM
Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.
https://www.bitex.in/a-class-of-indian-media-unnecessarily-damaging-bitcoin-reputation/

What is the reason for doing this? Do they intentionally do this so that even they can invest in Bitcoin and make some profit?

Well the main reason is they belive bitcoin is a fraud or like a ponzi , they see bitcoin as a threat on their society which is not. And second is they dont have the right amount of knowledge they judge bitcoin on what their see.
Media always have a very impressive role in building something or demolishing that thing. History is evident for this cause that whenever people start going toward one thing that have potential to benefit them, the haters started propagandas against that thing. Likewise, bitcoins are being affected by the opposition and governments through media. Need is not to bother such negativity being spread by media.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin making alts useless on: March 05, 2018, 10:09:51 AM
I believe altcoin is very useful, because altcoin is a source of revenues for crypto industry movement and will affect the price of bitcoin itself. So with altcoin it can make bitcoin prices change rapidly.
In my opinion, both bitcoin and altcoins have their own market and there is no way that bitcoin is making altcoins useless or vice versa. Both are being used for entirely different purpose and the ones who are investing in bitcoin have their own reasons to invest which are far different from the ones who have invested their money into altcoin. Bitcoin has nothing to do with the market of altcoin in any way.
251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a good time to start buying bitcoin or should i wait? on: March 05, 2018, 08:45:17 AM
Hi, a friend told me that this is the best time to start buying btc because it's price is dropping, but do you think i should wait and see if it keeps going down? I only have a small amount of money to invest. Thanks for your help, I'm new to this world

This is the best time to buy Bitcoin because it is lower as compared last year. Just buy low and sell high as the basic strategy in trading. You better to buy now and hold until you have get the desired income. There are speculations from experts that Bitcoin will rise up too soon so let's just hope and be patient about it. Bitcoin is too big to lose so you can never go wrong if you will invest the part of your saving in Bitcoin trading. And you need to keep your self updated about the Bitcoin news so that you will be familiar around it.
I think you are late and should not waste the time any more, and should try to purchase bitcoin, because bitcoin price is expected to increase too much very soon. I think that bitcoin price will continue increasing for a long time and those people who will invest money in bitcoin right now will surely get a very good return.
It is all and all your decision and choice but the thing is there is nothing good which you can have in return if you kept on waiting for more period of time. Waiting for more time will only result in increase in the market value of those coins and it is better not to buy the coins at higher rates. You need to go for buying of the coins at this very moment and this will indeed help you in having greater profit later on.
252  Economy / Economics / Re: is there any economic effect for the country or bitcoin users on: February 28, 2018, 06:37:04 AM
Of course BTC affterct economies, and governments definitely lose from not accepting it.
There is nothing to deny in this that crypto currencies can surely contribute a major role in making the economic condition of any particular country far better than its present condition. The thing is there are investors who are investing in bitcoin and are thus contributing in making the economic condition better but still that contribution is not that much sufficient and the governments need to think over it for better economy.
253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: February 28, 2018, 06:06:36 AM
Every time when the market grows, people dream to quit their normal jobs and become traders. Now the market is falling and people want stability. It will always be, it's human nature.
Quitting of the job for the sake of bitcoin is not a very good thing to do and that you should try not to go for availing this option as having a full time job will help you in having a steady income which you then use to meet up all your expenditures too. You can manage the things in a way that can help you in having a doing both the things at the very same time, thus making more money.
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is better Trade or Invest? on: February 28, 2018, 05:36:23 AM
you better trade. and you can use cut loss techniques to make a quick profit. the shortage of trading you should really be able to choose which coins will rise in price. if not, what you get is a loss. while mining, you need a lot of capital to get started.
Trading and investing of money, both are equally good and gives you a chances of making some good amount of money. It is you who has to decide this thing based on your own interest and skillset. For me, investing of money is a good option as it has less amount of risk involved in it as compared to that of trading. Long term investing of money is the best thing to do and it will help you in having a greater profit then.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT DEAD on: February 28, 2018, 05:04:53 AM
It's true, Bitcoin will never be dead. It is normal for btc to decrease or increase. I think Bitcoin's popularity will increase day by day.
Yes it is increasing. Don’t you see people from the all corners of world are getting in here and start working on bitcoins? Like us everyone want to get money and there are bitcoins who are ready to spread chances and opportunities for creating spaces for you. Hence, people are joining from all over the world. Just see it here in this forum, people are increasing every day and this forum is continuing.
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: IT'S TIME TO BUY BITCOIN ?? I SAY YESSSS on: February 27, 2018, 10:53:19 AM
I think at the moment you should not buy bitcoin. There's no sign of a bullish trend.
Consolidation is still ongoing. Now it is better to observe from the outside and be out of the market
In my opinion, it is the prime time to go for buying of as many number of bitcoins as you can afford to buy and get a chance of getting in this world which can later on help you in having some good amount of money. It all depends on yourself and the way you are looking up at the things but for me, you should go for this if you are mentally ready for investing your money into bitcoin.
257  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: February 27, 2018, 08:54:28 AM
Since crypto sits outside the banking system, it’s more vulnerable to theft. True among the small fry, for sure. But banks are often hacked, too.
Many traders  confirm they’ve taken steps to protect themselves from hackers and thugs—breaking up passwords and storing pieces in
safe deposits scattered across the country.
Anything which is related to that of internet is highly vulnerable and that there are likely chances that you can fall victim of any such unwanted scene in your life. Hackers are no doubt one of the biggest threat to all those who are there in this stuff but the thing is you need to take certain precautionary measures in order to have a chance of staying safe from such kind of people and to keep your coins safe.
258  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you thinking about the future? on: February 27, 2018, 08:21:16 AM
To be honest I am earning and investing in the crypto right now because I think it is the easiest way to save for my future,
I think if I hold all of my alt-coin and bitcoin the price would be pump up and I could use it for my kids in the future.
Every one of us in worried about his future and all of us really want to have a better future and this is the reason why every one of us is putting in so much efforts in order to have a better life. Planning of the future with that of bitcoin can be really beneficial as it can actually help us in making of as much amount of money as we want to make and this way, we’ll be having an opportunity of living a desirous life.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Major mistake all traders make on: February 27, 2018, 07:31:36 AM
An active day trader myself (sort of), I often think about common mistakes people make in trading. And it seems that I have traced back most if not all such mistakes to their root cause. In a nutshell, it all comes down to being unable to back out if something goes wrong. For example, you buy a few bitcoins at a December high and expect the price to continue rising, which is kind of obvious. Instead, the price starts crashing down and you find yourself in a situation that you didn't envisage or consider beforehand. So your best option would be to bring things back where they were as fast as possible even if it means some loss.

It is not so much about placing dumb stop-loss orders or other trading techniques aimed at minimizing losses as about your mental disposition or general attitude to immediately get out of what can be loosely called a decision limbo when you basically don't know what to do. In other words, search for the exit where the entrance is and do that fast.
I so much agree with you on this. I have made that mistake sometimes back and I ended up learning from it anyway which has really made things to work out pretty well for me over time and make good decisions. Normally, every trader should always know what to even look out for in a trade, either they are following trend, using indicators to see what is going on with some TA and FAs to make their decisions. It was obvious for any trader to see that bitcoin was tapping down and everything showed a bear market, but of course, some are just in the game without knowledge or strategy which is what makes the difference.
260  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will have a price of $50000 on: February 26, 2018, 06:03:21 AM
Based on the news, bitcoin might hit $50000 by the end of 2018. Is this possible? If so, what are the reasons?

I am hoping to it to. I invest my money on btc then after the month I invest in it, its value got worse. So I  can't cash out my money, until now I am waiting for it to get back on its original value and exceed it so I can at least earn even a little.
So you are holding, best thing you are doing. There comes so many advices from experts talking about holding. Although there is difference of opinions varying in all users of bitcoins but what I like is holding than any other thing. You did a splendid job by saving your bitcoins in your wallet and didn’t get panic. Now keep them more with you until you find a wonderful fruitful profit out of them.
