Where is the 'Like' button !
Hopefully soon we'll have the tip bot like the bitcointip bot on reddit. It'll make "liking" someone's post a lot easier!

Regardless of a negative or positive buffer, it's obvious RR doesn't want to operate the pool anymore. He may have given bogus reasoning, but as long as he pays out what's owed, I don't see why we should care?
IMO it's probably for the best, (no offense) but RR was never the best at communicating with his miners or quick to fix the pool when it was broken. Too much downtime, etc. An irritation for miners, but I'm sure a massive headache and stressor for RR. I think this is good for everyone all around.

@wizkid057 and organofcorti
Why the witch-hunt? He's decided to shut down the pool. He's planning on paying users.
I don't see the problem.

I'm wary of supporting this exchange, since there is no contact information beyond a web form available.
What is your business name? Where are your offices located? Are you a registered corporation? What is your address?
It just seems a little shady when this information isn't freely available on your website.(Which your main competitor(CaVirtEx) does provide.)

If you want security don't play the game. If you want in on bitcoin, buy as much as you feel you can afford to lose. Then turn off the computer and go to bed. Don't watch charts, or speculation. Go live life.

Anyone else notice that the user stats are "stalled"? Mine have the exact same hashrate listed for the past 4 hours or so.

Why won't this block die!
I think it did just as I posted this :S

It'll be back up to 260-280 on VirtEx.

If you look at his posting history, he gave away over $20k worth of coins yesterday, maybe more.

Unfortunate, but I understand, rex! Best of luck to you in the future!

My one miner I have left pointed here is connected no problem.

Can we get something like the Bitcointip feature from Reddit onto this forum? It is incredibly handy and very easy to use. Not to mention a good way to allow users to send tips to posters with good information or helpful ideas. http://www.reddit.com/r/bitcointipJust something to think about!

Do none of you have backup pools set up? It's almost negligent of you if you don't!

Definitely a problem right now:
"1 Miners Hashing @ 0.07 GH/s"
|
|
|
so since sometime last night i've been unable to connect to mine.mtred.com:8337. been using that exact set up for a while now with out issues unless the pool was down. but since no one else is saying its down... whats up?
Blocked ip? Read up a couple posts. oh right! duh. thanks. pming rex. 8337 is get work. Rex has disabled it. Switch to the stratum port.

How can I get crash logs to you from windows? Unfortunately, I don't know any way to get useful information from Windows. Bummer. Would having two mining rigs mine for the same btc address on eligius cause issues?
|
|
|
I've had multiple crashes today on both my mining rigs while connected to eligius via stratum (GBT doesn't work)
How can I get crash logs to you from windows?

I can't get GBT to connect (8337 port) but stratum works fine. I'm using BFGMiner.
