It looks like this will be good news for Chelsea fans as Joao Felix looks set to rejoin Chelsea who are currently in talks and considering Atletico Madrid no longer need the player, I am very confident that this transfer will go smoothly.
Joao Felix still has great talent as long as he joins the right club like Barca when he was on loan, he gave a very good contribution and if he rejoins Chelsea, he will definitely be ready to give a strong contribution to a club that appreciates his talent.
Do you agree with this statement?

No way Felix to rejoin Chelsea again. Honestly, i don't like this transfer. It's also weird to see you call this a good transfer. Don't you remember? Chelsea signed him for 12 million on loan for 6 months; also, the club covered his full salary. And Felix had absolutely no impact on the team. He's poor off or on the ball. Can't track back, and he's a very lazy guy to help the back line.
We most certainly do not need Felix. This is because we have Palmer and Nkunku who are 100 times better than him in all of aspects. It feels like Chelsea is bad at scouting potential players. This is crazy. Unbelievable to see Chelsea revive their interest in the bad player like Felix.

Believe me, this is another wasteful transfer.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: May Ethereum price hit 3000+ in August? on: August 12, 2024, 09:38:46 AM
Ethereum prices have been dumping recently. Friends, let's discuss, will the price of ethereum be 3000 plus this month?

It's not impossible, but it seems unrealistic to feel bullish on ether. Bitcoin's monthly return was often negative in August. I expect ethereum can go back to the 3k sub or even higher after this month. Bitcoin is not looking good after it goes back to the 61k.
Also, we're losing our bigboy (Jump Trading) who sold 500 million worth of ethereum to the market. BTC dom is not showing if there may be a retracement to happen in altcoin too. Moreover, many bad news are always coming, such as recession, war, and many more.

Or how much could it be?

It's probably staying around the 2000-2500 range.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Animal-Themed Crypto: How Many Have You Spotted? on: August 12, 2024, 09:22:31 AM
It's something to think about whether this fusion represents a collaboration between different Cat related project communities and Dog communities or a symbolic portrayal of hybrid genetic experiments.

What's your thoughts, guys?

It was not even a fusion. It was the developer who mixed the two animal names. They did this to avoid using the name for their token like "dog" or "cat." It's kinda mainstream to release a token with the name "dog" or "cat." The developer who did the fusion tries to bring something new with the hope it can get the hype.

A fusion of two animal names doesn't mean a merger of two projects with different names. It's only an experiment made by the creator of such token.

We have many developers who did this just like " Cat in the world of dog" , etc. It's a common thing in meme's environment.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people interested in investing in altcoins rather than Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2024, 09:10:03 AM
Recently I have heard from some newbies that they are more interested in investing in altcoin than Bitcoin. They think that investing in altcoins will make them more profitable. So Bitcoin can not be more profitable? Is it possible to earn more profit from altcoin?

That makes sense.

The point is that if it's not all of people can afford to buy huge amounts of bitcoin with their limited money. Use your sense, if someone has only 50 bucks to invest, and shall he buy bitcoin? I'd call that guy is quite stupid if he buys bitcoin to invest.
The better for him to buy altcoins which can give more return than bitcoin. Bitcoin can be profitable. But, it depends on your investment capital. Also, it's very possible to get more profit from altcoins rather than bitcoin.

I'll give you best example.

Its terrible for Stuttgart after selling their top scorer players to Dortmund and not sign any new players yet actually they will participants in UEFA Champion League and seems terrible like Union Berlin last season have downtrend performance in domestic league after participating in Champion League. I think Stuttgart made fatal mistake by selling their top scorer

I think Guirassy will go to the EPL or La Liga. At €17.5 million, this is not too expensive for this player.

Are you sure about that? Don't you even get the latest update if Guirassy is now a part of dortmund?

Guirassy has decided to stay in the Bundesliga much longer than before. He will not leave the Bundesliga. It surprised me, as I had never heard of his interest in joining Dortmund. The only bad thing is that many of Dortmund's fans disliked this transfer.

I dunno what the reason is, but probably due to the he was a part of Dortmund's rival.

246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25 on: August 10, 2024, 04:54:40 AM
Nico William has a huge love for Athletic Bilbao. He has endured a lot of questions about his future. Being protected by the club, being attached to it since childhood, and having a brother playing are some factors that can keep Nico Williams in the Basque country longer. Nico Williams is not ready for the huge pressure of playing for big clubs, and staying at San Mames would be good for his career development. At the same time, perhaps his family and brother Inaki Williams also want him to stay in Bilbao for at least another year. Keeping Nico Williams is seen as a major turning point for Athletic Bilbao and the club's board ahead of the new season.

There is a better offer in the new contract that Nico Williams has so that makes him stay at Bilbao especially this is also a situation that could have been better because by being at Bilbao at least he does not have to think about competition for the line-up because he certainly already has his own place in the squad.

It's not the real reason, why did Nico Williams stay in Bilbao? I think this is due to Barcelona's U-turn to buy Olmo instead of him. Remember that Barcelona is still struggling with their financial. And, they have not yet registered many of their players in La Liga due to the financial condition.
Barcelona grew impatient with Nico, which is taking to long just to say yay or nay. They decided to target Olmo instead. It's not due to the larger contract offered by Bilbao. Bilbao made him a bigger contract. But, as a football fan, I must admit, Barcelona's offer looked sexier. Yet, Nico has decided to stay.

He is still very young for now so there are still many opportunities to be at a big club later, even though in terms of statistics and strength Bilbao is still below some big clubs in La Liga but that should be an opportunity for Nico Williams to make him more interesting in the performance he does because if his consistency is maintained, sooner or later more big clubs will want his services.
As long as Nico can still consistently perform at this rate, he will always be targeted by the big clubs. Some big English clubs are linked to him, but there are no updates on the rumor.
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Update For Aug 5TH on: August 10, 2024, 02:26:52 AM
Base on recent speculations, some were already predicting that the market may remain for now in-between the range of $50,000 to $60,000 depending on the side which raised more resistance over the market volatility, we have to consider also on how it has occurred on the recent time whereby bitcoin price surges to above $62,000 before it then comes down as low as @59,000 but currently as we speak, its around the band of $60,000 and if it can maintain this for a while, we should then expect more of the bull sooner till it achieve close to $70,000 before the month end.

It may take some time for Bitcoin to be able to reclaim 62k again; I meant yesterday was in full swing. S&P500 was not performing quite well, and it affects the performance of Bitcoin's price to climb up. Also, it seems someone who put 12k BTC seller orders has already pulled off his order.

Considering we have no strong resistance, and i think we can go up as long as there will be a good news. But we're on the weekend now, and we may not be seeing a big movement from BTC.

It's quite weird to see how bitcoin's movement is now following US market.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Doge Coins still a good investment option? on: August 09, 2024, 09:45:27 AM
So, I'm thinking of buying Doge coins again. The last I invested on Doge, I got good returns in 2021 when I sold everything.
[/quote]

Don't you ever think of moving on to other meme tokens instead of always focusing on Dogecoin? That may also be profitable for you. Dogecoin went crazy in 2021, but it is most likely that we won't face the same situation again soon.

Do anyone feel the same way about Doge coins being a good investment option?
I don't even think Dogecoin is a good investment anymore. There are now hundreds or thousands of meme coins. Also, Dogecoin will likely  the same pump as  2021.
If i were you, I'd consider a meme coin with a smaller market cap than Doge coin.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025 on: August 09, 2024, 09:34:24 AM

That's right, Chelsea management has made many mistakes so that their team is as bad as it is now and Enzo Maresca's task is very difficult, it is not easy for him to build a team from the beginning again like Chelsea now which does not have a strong team framework.

Several Chelsea pre-season matches have actually proven that they are now getting worse.

And I think there is nothing more to expect from Chelsea, they will not be better next season than last season and one way to make Chelsea rise is to provide support and also time for Enzo Maresca to build this team through the process, but if not then Chelsea will change coaches every year.

Indeed, that is the only way to get Chelsea back on its feet. Namely giving more time to the coach who is managing the club now. Last season, Pochettino was actually in the same position as Enzo is currently. Maybe Pochettino was even in a tougher situation at that time. Meanwhile, Enzo currently only needs to continue what Pochettino built last season. We know that Pochettino can be said to be quite successful in improving Chelsea. Because Chelsea could ultimately finish in a pretty good ranking. But unfortunately Pochettino didn't last long here. And maybe something similar shouldn't happen again. Enzo must be able to last more than one season if he wants to rebuild Chelsea to a better point. I'm also not sure whether Chelsea will be better this season than last season. But I see Enzo as trustworthy enough to do it. At least I hope Chelsea doesn't fall out of the top 10.

The problem is, as already explained in this thread, is Chelsea not giving enough time to any of the coaches that they have brought in recently, that is a big problem for any club. If you do not give enough time to the coaches that you bring in, you will never see a good consistent result from the squad that he is working with. And if the coaches get changed, the squad will also not be able to perform well and consistently because the tactic is not consistent.

I quite disagree with you. I meant, Pochettino got enough time to prove it, and he helped Chelsea climb up from 12th to 6th. It's a very good achievement, but Todd still fired him at the end of last season. It's proven that the main problem in Chelsea was the owner of the club itself.
As long as Chelsea has an inconsistent owner like Todd Boehly, they won't be the same as under Abramovich. I didn't even see anything wrong with Poch, but Todd sacked him.

I hope they are going to give Enzo Maresca enough time and not change at the first sight of bad results. Because then the continuous cycle is going to go on forever. Just give him at least three seasons. If the results are literally too bad, like he is bringing Chelsea down to the relegation zone, then I think you can change the coach.

Regards

Duke

Maresca will not be last for a season. With Chelsea's current form, I doubt they'll finish in the top four. They sacked Pochettino, who delivered for the club, and what about Maresca? Terrible pre-season under him, and what's next?
Lose streak in EPL? Out of Conference League? I have no positive impression toward Maresca.

250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ondo potential this bull run? on: August 09, 2024, 03:18:40 AM

With the recent crash I am looking for a new altcoin to get into that will give me good returns over the next 6-12 months and have been looking at Ondo.

I like that it is a RWA (real world asset) and it is only $1b market cap but I noticed it only has 13% of its supply currently circulating which is not good. I usually invest in altcoins that have at least 50% circulating.

Is anyone else invested in Ondo? What do you think it can reach this bull run?

For those not invested , does it look like it has potential or not?

I think you shall be concerned about the schedule of the next ONDO token unlock.

The picture above said: if ONDO's big token unlocks scheduling, it is safe to trade it. That should happen by year's end. Though, it's quite overvalued, but im fine as long as we will not have VCs to dump their tokens to the market.

ONDO does have potential, but it must also back to what's the bitcoin trend and token unlock schedule. Token unlock is the main problem that may be making the price get stuck.

I expect ONDO to reach new ATH during the next bullrun, but this is not a suggestion to buy ONDO.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 09, 2024, 03:06:26 AM

While other people are focused on discussing AC Milan, which has competed in pre-season against strong European teams such as Man City, Real Madrid and Barcelona. And AC Milan did get positive results. Which makes everyone appreciate AC Milan. But I think we also need to look at Inter Milan, who just experienced their first defeat in a pre-season match. And what was surprising was that Inter Milan lost to one of the clubs from the Saudi Pro League, namely Al-ittihad, with a score of 0-2. And what surprised me about this match was that one of Al-ittihad's new players who was brought in from Aston Villa actually scored 2 goals in that match. Inter Milan did not play seriously in this match because they continued to rotate players between the first and second tier. But Al-ittihad also did the same thing except for Benzema who played the full game.

What i can see from that game is that Diaby has been carrying Ittihad's attacking line. He's such a smart guy and powerful attacker; also, he looks too good for Saudi club. It's amazing to see Diaby's performance in this game. No doubt, people were disappointed when he left the EPL for Ittihad.
This is a friendly game. But, I still want to assess Inter Milan's performance. And, they're still good overall. Even though Diaby made them lose, but i think Inter can still play even better than what they showed in that game.

Also, don't forget, Inter used a good starting lineup in that game. However, Martinez wasn't there. But, they're all good.

Arne Slot reportedly wants Martin Zubimendi. Zubimendi is positioned as a central midfielder similar to Endo. This makes the competition even more interesting. Endo did not play well in several preseason matches. This makes Arne Slot want to add new players. This makes it seem like Endo will have a competitor. This made many rumors that Endo would leave, reportedly Marseille was interested in him. €14 million has been offered to Liverpool but has been rejected. It seems that Endo really wants to work hard to compete with Zubimendi if he really comes to Liverpool.

This was yesterday's news. But it will be so happy if Mendi will able to accept Liverpool's offer. It seems Sociedad doesn't like Liverpool to pursuit Zubimendi. And the latest report says Sociedad told Zubimendi to reject Liverpool's offer. I do really support the addition of this a spaniard guy to the squad.
It's gonna increase the depth of the current squad. It's also good for Zubimendi to play in the top league. He can show his skills in the UCL, too. That's a win-win situation for him and Liverpool if he say yes for Liverpool's offer.

There's only a small chance for him to stay at Sociedad. Liverpool's offer would benefit his career. And last, i'm hoping Liverpool will patiently wait him to say "YES".

BREAKING: Portuguese defender Pepe announces retirement

Portuguese football has lost one of its most important players. The legendary Pepe, at 41 years of age, announced his retirement from professional football on Thursday. The former defender announced his decision in a video on his official channels.

Time does not pass in vain for people. On this occasion, the legendary Pepe, at 41 years of age, surprisingly announced his retirement on Thursday 8 August. The former Portuguese defender used his social profiles to post a 33-minute farewell video.

After terminating his contract with Porto this summer, there were many doubts about whether the veteran footballer would continue in the game. The Portuguese has finally decided to hang up his boots after an incredible 22-year career.

His beginnings go back to Brazil, where he played for Corinthians Alogoano de Maceio, where he was born. From there he moved on to second-tier teams in Portugal before joining Maritimo in 2001. His professional debut came on 12 April 2002, in the 31st matchday of the 2001-02 Portuguese League against Boavista, and he started all 90 minutes.

Pepe played 64 official matches for the Funchal side, scoring 3 goals and receiving 25 yellow cards and 4 red cards. After 3 seasons with the club, the defender moved to Porto, where he also played for another 3 seasons (2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07).

At the 'Dragoes', the defender left an unforgettable mark by winning 5 titles: 2 Portuguese Super Cups, 2 Portuguese Leagues and 1 Portuguese Cup. He made 88 official appearances, 8 goals and 4 assists, as well as 25 yellow cards and 2 red cards.

Source link: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.besoccer.com/new/amp/breaking-portuguese-defender-pepe-announces-retirement-1326189

The picture is all of the trophies owned by Pepe in his career as a professional football player. I really value him a lot because he was a Real Madrid legend. If I remember correctly, Pepe was bullying his opponent when a Real Madrid player. It was crazy. However, Pepe has a lot of controversies, but he was one of the best players.
I know that this time was gonna come to him, to retire from football. Also, that's amazing to see how he performed like that in the Euros at 41 years old. Though Portugal lost in the semi-final, Pepe was the one who has most contribtion.

And this is another day of reminder for me that I'm getting older too, and time flies so fast. And last, happy retirement Real Madrid's legend.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 08, 2024, 04:53:10 AM
Barcelona got a great deal on Dani Olmo. Olmo is a better player than Nico Williams because he can play anywhere on the front line. This makes him a useful tool against strong teams like Real Madrid. This player can also play as a wide or even a false nine. He's not just an attacking midfielder. This flexibility is very important for a club that is having money problems but still needs to stay ahead of the competition
Olmo is a good player but I doubt he's going to be that great for Barcelona. This is a player that doesn't score a lot of goals. He just had a great season with Leipzig and he had just 13 goals and assists. That is not the kind of player they can rely on to lead them. There is also the fact that Olmo is injury-prone. He misses at least 20 games due to injury every season. Barcelona already has injury-prone players like Perdi in midfield and recently Frenkie De Jong has been getting injured a lot too so I don't think adding another injury-prone player is a good idea.

Olmo is an unnecessary transfer by Barcelona. This was because we have some great midfielders, and i have not what kind of position to be given by Flick for Olmo. Also, many criticized Deco as a sporting director for initiate this transfer. Barcelona has Fermin Lopez, Guendogan, and many more.
It's hard to imagine Flick will kick Lopez from his spot as a midfielder in Barcelona. There are many reasons to support the decision not to sign Olmo, but Barcelona pushes it. What a crazy decision from Barcelona.

I believe Barcelona should have given up the pursuit of Nico Williams. They should have signed both Nico and Olmo. Olmo can play behind the striker while Nico plays the wing. I don't believe Olmo is overall a better player than Nico. Nico is a better winger which is the only position he knows how to play and Olmo is a better attacking midfielder.
True, and we need a new left winger. But, it's impossible to sign two expensive players. And, please consider Barcelona's finances. They're in a bad financial state. Barcelona can't pay for Nico. It's caused by they're now struggling to pay transfer fees for Olmo.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Many altcoins may not recover this fall. on: August 07, 2024, 11:58:15 PM
Normally with the fall of bitcoin price towards $50k in the recent days all altcoins took the downtrend falling in reciprocation to bitcoin, and I see many people in a hurry to buy some altcoins and hold believing that when bitcoin rises up again they can make some significant profits.

That's how trading is work, and if you're not dealing with the risk, then how you get profit from the market? Buy when others panic to sell off their asset, then try to gamble on the recovery of bitcoin is a normal thing in crypto. Bitcoin won't be dumping forever, and that makes sense if they're buying it after it reaches the bottom.

. just a quick reminder that one-third of the shitcoins that have fallen chances are that they may not be able to recover and pump along with bitcoin. It can be a gateway to a straight dump. Be careful the shitcoin you wanna rush in to sink your money this period of sharp instability in the market.

True, but some altcoins in the market have chance to break new ATH. That's why, when trading crypto, finding a gem is the hardest task. But, it will help you recover your assets. Buying the dip becomes the easiest way to get decent profit from your investment.
Market instability is common. It offers a chance to profit in a bearish market. And if you're scared to buy at the dip, then how can you make profit from the market? It forces to you to teal with the risk.  That's why there is also stop loss.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is currently best to invest? PEPE, dogwifhat or ONDO? on: August 07, 2024, 11:42:58 PM
If we continue the current uptrend, which of these coins has best and which has the worst chances of increasing massively in your opinion?

To be honest, meme tokens will always outperform utility tokens like Ondo in recovery. But they will be very volatile. I think Ondo will recover slowly compared to the meme token. This is because VCs still own many locked pre-sale tokens.

It may be scaring retail investors away. But BlackRock's backing is the only thing that built hype for Ondo's token. The meme token's supply is fully distributed. People aren't scared to buy it to recover their assets.

I think Pepe will recover the fastest. The WIF or ONDO will be slower, with ONDO being the slowest.

🚨🔴 Liverpool are exploring move for Martin Zubimendi as new midfielder, as there’s €60m release clause into his contract.

Talks will follow between clubs and on player side.
https://x.com/fabrizioromano/status/1821151239515595209

Let’s get this done, would be a great signing.

Let's go!!!! This is what i wanted to see from Liverpool. Zubimendi is obviously gonna be a right player to strengthen Liverpool's squad. It seems Arne Slot is hearing Liverpudlians' suggestions to him. But I'm also being pessimistic about this transfer. This is because Zubimendi has rejected Barcelona for years as a spaniard.

If Zubimendi rejects Liverpool's move, it will not be a big surprise. I know Zubimendi loves his current club. He has rejected offers from Spain's big clubs many times.  Money isn't the main issue; it's whether the player wants to leave his hometown club. I hope he does, and it's to Liverpool.
But Zubimendi has rejected clubs before us. This makes me feel worried. That will be awesome if we can sign him from Sociedad.

Yesterday i just post about this before and the news has been appears today that finally Atletico Madrid has officially gets Julian Alvarez from Manchester City i think they had just make dare moved with gets Julian Alvares with 95 million as transfer fees which this is can be called as saga transfer for them because i have to says Atletico Madrid is rarely to done this buying the player with the expensive price so this is not their habit actually

Julian Alvarez has agree to signing 5 years contract with Atletico Madrid which mean he will be at this team until 2029 and for Manchester City this is very huge profit from them because they can sell Julian Alvarez with 95 million because previously they only buy this player 14 million

https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1820881297532973378
Last I remember, Atletico Madrid paid a lot of money for Joao Felix. They didn't get much out of him, I hope they can get some out of Julian Alvarez. Julian Alvarez is a very quality player. He tried to score goals at every opportunity at Manchester City, but he didn't get enough playing time because his opponent was Haaland, the best in the world. I hope he can have a successful season at Atletico.

The come of Alvarez to Atletico Madrid makes me wonder what's gonna happen with Felix soon. If Atletico Madrid has abandoned him, it seems that many share my curiosity.

Also, It's wrong to say Alvarez didn't get enough time to play in the City's squad. I saw him play regularly, and Pep always rotated him with Haaland.

Just like when Haaland played in the first half, then Alvarez could go in to substitute Haaland, or he played as AM. But like your hope, best of luck for Alvarez in Atletico Madrid. This is gonna be a new challenge for him.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25 on: August 06, 2024, 12:08:13 PM
The lack of consistency happened because Chelsea could not develop in the last 2 seasons and it was a joint mistake not the fault of individual players because if you look as a whole I actually saw Gallagher's performance on the field was quite good even though it was not as good as Palmer but Gallagher's performance was above average.

Precisely if Chelsea sells to Atletico I think it could be one of the wrong decisions because after all he is a pretty good figure in terms of leadership and style of play on the field, it's just that Chelsea still can't maximize Gallagher's real strength because the chemistry between players is still not well maintained.
40 million is not a high price but I think when Gallagher is at the right club it can make his performance better than when he is at Chelsea today.

Chelsea has been making a lot of mistakes in recent seasons, and I think the main source of this is the management, who are essentially businessmen, who have a not very competent team to manage, which leads to many mistakes, both in the transfer market and in managing the team and appointing the coaching staff. If they sell Gallagher, I will not be very surprised, because they have done something like this before, they can sell an important player for the team for very little money, but then buy another one for twice as much, who will sit on the bench for half a season...

Todd Boehly is the root of all problems that have happened to Chelsea. Many sources explained Todd's lack of football knowledge. So, I was surprised he was chosen as chairman of Chelsea Football Group. The decision to sell Gallagher is probably coming from Todd Boehly itself. Also, it saddens me how Chelsea treat him in awful way.
Gallagher would stay if Chelsea offered him a good contract. But he feels abandoned by them. Even Gallagher has shown lots of effort about how he has tried to stay with his beloved club.

I rarely watched Chelsea. Many key players were leaving the club. They lost Silva, and now Gallagher. The funniest thing is Chelsea sold Gallagher for a mediocre keeper, Jorgensen. And last, this club is worsening.

Juventus is pushing for Nico Gonzalez who is a great player and it seems to me that he is right for us this year he has done very well and the Juventus club likes him. The first name of Juventus is Karim Adeyemi but he doesn't want to leave Dortmund and so they want to do it again with nico gonzalez who is always an excellent purchase!

Honestly, Nico is good, but I'd prefer Adeyemi over Nico. The only problem is Borussia priced Adeyemi too high, and also i think Juventus is not having a lot of money to spend. And it sounds crazy if the money raised from selling Soulé and Hujsen combined just to buy Adeyemi. This is why Juventus goes for an alternative choice like Nico.
But, I think it's risky to take Nico. He has a history of injuries, and he isn't worth the price tag. Juventus must be concerned about Nico's injury record before trying to make a deal to get him. Also, there are some pluses from Nico. He has Serie A experience; also, he is an Argentina NT regular.

Hopefully, Nico's injury record won't hurt his career at Juventus if they take him.
