241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: May 02, 2017, 02:52:36 PM
In beginning of my Bitcoin usage, I was storing all of them on Blockchain.info. One year later, I started to send from Blockchain.info to my Electrum wallet. Now I use Electrum on laptop (max .3 BTC), Bitcoin Unlimited on Raspberry Pi (using it mainly as node), Mycelium on phone and tablet (.05 BTC max) and paper wallet for significant amount of BTC. I still use Blockchain.info for storing little BTC.

I'm also using electrum, because it is much safer compare to the online wallets, which could turn to scam anytime, and is very prone to hackers, unlike the Electrum wallet, it could be use both, online or offline. The only time that you would use it online is when you are going to send bitcoin to another wallet, and after that, it is offline again.

You just have to remember your wallet seed and your pin code, for you to be able to transfer and receive funds, because if you are going to forget it, then you are doomed.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: May 02, 2017, 02:35:57 PM
There's always a risk, there's no such thing as risk-free,you have to remember that. Now the thing is if the risk you take actually potentially can bring you more profit and therefore it would make more sense to put your cash at risk-so look at the return you can get on your risk-with BTC the return can be quite big so if you have cash that you don't use-it's a good idea to put it in BTC
That is true. Even savings accounts in banks have risks associated with it because in case of a bank closure, only a certain portion of your deposit will be insured. Same goes with other investments, especially those that have higher risks associated with them. With bitcoin, I think the risk is all worth it, given how it has performed very well, especially in the last few months.

That is why it is important that we have to investigate first or we are going to have some research on where we are going to invest our money, because just like what you have said, investing our money in the bank is also at risk because they could close their bank anytime if they get bankrupt or something. Being informative and always updated on the things where we invest our bitcoin is the best thing so far.

Like for example is when we invest our money on a online casinos, then we have read that, that certain casino will close due to a certain reason, of course we are going to withdraw our money for the safety purposes, and for our efforts and our the wait will be worth it.

Until now has collected what funds?
Until now the collected funds have reached $1,843,593.94

We are really lucky to join this project, I didn't expect that their funds would be this high in just a short period of time, and I know that it will increase day by day. Since this is a very great project, that is why collecting funds is so easy, and the developer of this coin is really amazing. I'm looking forward on the day where we could get our token, I am sure that we are going to earn big amount of money from it, so excited. Smiley

if ICO achieve,When will it be ready to trade?

I bet that this is the first time that you have join here in the Altcoin Signature Campaign, because of course after the ICO, the distribution of the tokens is going to happen, and it is already on a exchanger and ready to trade, it just depends if you are going to sell it already or you are just going to hold it and sell it on the next year. But we have to wait for the ICO to be finished before we think about to trade the tokens that we are going to earn from it.

246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't use bitcoin buying a coffee now. on: April 18, 2017, 04:13:57 PM
You must be one of the few people who does this. Where I live, for example, there are not many possibilities for doing this.
If you are having such problems, I suggest you use your credit card, until things get right on Bitcoin side. Or you can opt for a Bitcoin debit card, but the fees will make things more difficult.

It is unacceptable for me to buy coffee for bitcoin. It seems to me that soon I can regret such a purchase. Because this is a non-rational waste of resources. Similarly, I will never buy any other everyday goods for bitcoins

Yeah, right? Because why do we need to spend bitcoin to buy a coffee if we can use fiat, is this a way to shout out to the world that we have bitcoins and others don't have? Well, we don't have to be this way, we should be low key as always, be humble, and not use bitcoin on everything where we want to, use it where you think it is worth to be use.

And I would rather spend my fiat just to buy a lot of coffee and save my bitcoin to have profits in the long run.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin implants? on: April 12, 2017, 04:11:24 PM
I'm not sure if this has ever been implemented yet, but can you imagine a way of paying with Bitcoin by just using your own body?

It would be more of like a microchip implanted into your left or right hand that would contain both your public and private keys to send and receive Bitcoins.

So in case you want to send or receive some BTC, you would just pass your hand over at a scanner and it would perform the desired operation. This is would make it a very convenient and easy way to transact, and carry your Bitcoins with you anytime, anywhere. However, the only thing to be considered would be the security of your private key from within your implant, to protect your funds from theft.

Nevertheless, I want to know your opinion about this, since it would be pretty cool to have such a system to help spread mass adoption of the cryptocurrency.  Smiley

it would be nice that way, but I think we are looking too far from the future the way we are talking things here, though it is a really good idea because it will be more convenient and less hassle than accessing first our web wallets before we can send transactions. But the problem is, what if somebody would remove the implant in our body, and steal the bitcoin on us, then it will all just go to waste, all the efforts that we spent in order to earn that bitcoin.

I think it would be more better if it is not going to be implant but it is connected online to our web wallet, in order to be safe and more secured.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling sites should ask proofs ? on: April 04, 2017, 01:08:42 PM
How will less scams happen when gambling sites ask for proofs from the customers?

It should be the other way around. Gambling sites should mention where their companies are registered and provide the reference numbers for that. They should show who runs the show so things are more transparent for the gamblers.

Correct, there would be no player on a certain gambling site if they are going to ask proofs that a certain player is legit, because just like what you have said, it should be the other way around. Gambling sites are the ones who are attracting players, so its their job to do such thing like proving they are legit and people could trust them by providing proofs that they pay, something like this.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: April 04, 2017, 12:20:37 PM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
People who dont know about bitcoins may hate it.They may raise their doubts about security of investments in bitcoins. In their life, they would have come across many such economical innovations which turned to be scam. They may relate bitcoins with such scam projects. But we have to explain them what exactly bitcoin is and how it has crossed its early stage to reach today's price of $1100.If they still talk against bitcoins, then it would be better to leave them as they are. When they realize about bitcoins in future, they may regret.
The best way to encourage people on liking bitcoin is by introducing them bitcoin talk or even get them to work on reading on forums to know more about bitcoin. Bitcoin is easy to self-thought because like me i become aware on bitcoin through forum by reading different topic so i may learned different things like signature campaign, tradings or even how to earn bitcoin or saving bitcoin through a wallet. If all people  will start to read on bitcoin they may like the different characteristic of bitcoin.
yes that is right and to me i think that most of the people do not know about bitcoin and that is the reason that they are not giving an y preference to bitcoin. but i think if they will introduce to bitcoin in a good way then they will surely give more preference to bitcoin.

Lack of knowledge is one factor of ignoring bitcoins but i think there is a majority of people who dislike change and they oppose change to bitcoin from Fiat. Change is difficult to digest.

Yeah, also because they still prefer on earning fiat because this is the way they are comfortable and they have been used to it, so, introducing bitcoin to them in nowhere will just be a waste of time, so, it would be better if they would find it our for themselves and going to come to those who knows bitcoin and start to ask "How can we earn some?".

250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: April 04, 2017, 11:45:00 AM
There are many ways on how bitcoins and other cryptocurrency may end and be die.One of the biggest threats is data base shut down or unexpected huge error on the network. Also demand problems will do a big problem too.I think legality issues will not affect  bitcoins and other cryptocurrency.

Database error, sure. Because that's how other systems go down. But bitcoin is different. It's decentralized. There will be no "unexpected huge error" in the network as it is constructed perfectly. Legality issues surely will not affect bitcoins because they didn't go that way. They didn't ask permission from the government or whatever.

Where did you even gets these ideas? You just thought of it yourself? Then you don't know what bitcoin really is. If you read this from some article, read below the whole thing because it might be just some April Fool's post once again. Or some troll just told you this. Everytime you read something, I suggest that you do a quick google search to confirm it before believing that it's real.

Well, most of them out there are just making their own stories about bitcoin even though they are not quite sure about what they are saying, what does matter to them is they could easily add it to their post count even though it is like a "Spam" post. So, what you have said is true that bitcoin won't just go down easily like that, and since it is decentralized Government is out of the story.

Bitcoin could live on its own without the support of the Government, for example here is the Bitcoin ETF that has been rejected by the SEC this last month, it was March 12, if I'm not mistaken, though it affects on the bitcoins price a little bit, also add this Hard fork thing which caused the bitcoins price experienced a huge price drop, but right now, it is skyrocketing again, and let's just hope that it will continue on rising above.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LUNYR - A Decentralized World Knowledge Base Built on Ethereum - 8545 ETH on: April 04, 2017, 11:31:08 AM
8k ether is not so bad for a start i believe. Ether prices will effect also this ico. If ether price going to stable people will invest more on this project.
Lets see

You bet, others are just giving negative prediction about this project but I'm sure that this will be a success, and we have to stay here in this campaign to prove to them that its true.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: March 31, 2017, 03:57:19 PM
Still the best way to quit gambling is really just stop instantly and don't ever think of playing again. Or you could still play but only with a few dollars or quite lower than what you used to play with. Just play for fun, don't ever try and chase your losses, it's never good to try and recover what you lost.

Finally someone get this, there is no such thing as getting addicted and you cant stop. You can choose to stop instantly and there will be nothing that will stop you from doing that. Most people dont want to admit this fact and keep on blaming their addiction for the reason on why they couldnt stop doing it

It is possible if you are really dedicated about doing it, but if you are not, then of course it is impossible. Maybe you couldn't stop like that easily but you could do it step by step, I mean, minimize the day that you are going to gambling, also the amount of the money that you are using in gambling, in that way, you might be able to control yourself and not be addicted on it anymore.

Trying also other things will do, we must see other things where we could earn money other than gambling, because we are not really earning money on this, instead we are losing it.

If you want to do a translation please reserve it on the thread so the team can see it, please remember all translations are checked so don't use google translate please Tongue

They all use google translator...or most of them Roll Eyes

Yeah, you got it right, most of them are just using google translate for their work to be more easier, but it is not accurate sometimes because some of the words that is being translated on the google translate is literally, and they are not putting any efforts on it by using that. I would rather look the word in the dictionary if I'm not familiar with it, rather than using google translate.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: March 29, 2017, 04:42:50 AM
Many people here are asking "How gambling can benefits us by winning" on it using strategy like Martingale, or pure luck when we are playing DICE?
But I'm just wondering when do people will realize that gambling can never be the one that could benefits us, because the truth is, we could lose the thing that we can't lose to afford before we could be benefited by gambling.
Ain't gonna stop man, just ain't gonna stop. Do you think they don't know they can't afford to lose? They know, but they still keeping on gambling because they're greed. In the end, they get trouble from their greediness, they shall take the responsibility themselves.
There no actual answer whether gambling can benefit or costing us. When people win, they say it's benefit, and when people lose, they say the other way. So the answer is 50-50.
50-50 it is, and it is a critical condition we have every time we gamble, and yes, of course they are the one who is going to be responsible for their own mess, who else. In gambling, people are getting addicted because of this hopes that maybe they could win on the second try, or if they are going to keep on trying until they win all back what they have lost, or win bigger amount of money.

Though their hopes failed them, they lose even more money than they could ever imagine, and it is sad and very annoying. So, why don't we just quit gambling and accept the fact that we could not make money here, we are losing most of the time, so why bother.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you use a Bitcoin ATM? on: March 21, 2017, 01:22:32 PM
I think until now bitcoin ATM is still be best way to allow newcomers to acquire small amount of bitcoin, although the rate is a bit expensive.

Besides, it can also serve as an advertisement in the public places.
i do not think that we need for any bitcoin atm, we can use our online wallet any time and anywhere, i think when the number of bitcoin uses will increase then the idea of bitcoin ATM may work a little but stil i do not think that a lot of people will appreciate this idea.

Correct. And we do have our ATM cards for this, but not bitcoin ATM. We store our bitcoin in our online wallets, and if we needed some cash, we are converting some of our bitcoin into fiat and then transfer it to our ATM account, for us to withdraw it. Though, having this Bitcoin ATM is also a good idea, but I think that it is not necessary to have one because we have ATMs, what we do need is bitcoin bank, in my opinion. Smiley
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: March 16, 2017, 01:16:34 AM
I don't think that this question should be ask about bitcoin do have a future, because obviously, it do have a future. Bitcoins been living for almost 8 years(correct me if I'm wrong), and still right now, it's still here kicking those butts of other Altcoins out there. So doubting about the future of bitcoin is ridiculous, because bitcoin is already on its way to its complete success amongst the Altcoins here in the crypto world.

So, the future of bitcoin is rest assured to us, and we have to believe on bitcoins capability, we have to continue to use it and support it in order bitcoin to live for a lifetime.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: March 05, 2017, 01:28:02 PM
My child is in any case already know what I stammered and what is bitcoin in general. While his education makes it impossible to realize the entire concept of bitcoin, but the essence of it is already caught and will soon join me with.
to understand the concept of bitcoin of course he will not know. probably just made them dizzy. perhaps they will know just the basis of bitcoin, like bitcoin is as currencies or commoditie
actual children or teenagers do not have to know about bitcoin in detail, probably high school teenagers will be able to understand but not with elementary school children. just tell them about where to earn bitcoin, how and where to use and store bitcoin.
Children need to be left of their own to make effective decision. We should not force them to start learning about bitcoin. Children who has the habit of playing games can be suggested to play games that pay small amount of bitcoin. It's good to explain to teenage people. If they find it interesting they themselves will explore and learn much about it.

Yes indeed. We have our own interest in life, so if we excel on something, then that is the one that we should pay our attention on, and if you really love your children, you have to support them on whatever they want to be with or whatever they wanted to do in their lives because iti is the only way for them to succeed, forcing them to something that they don't know about will just lead them to nowhere.

Though, explaining bitcoin about teenagers and children is not a bad thing because we are just introducing it to them, what bad is, if we are going to force them to earn bitcoin or to do bitcoin.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing bitcoin is not that easy on: March 03, 2017, 10:39:43 AM

I can feel my roomates laughing deep inside everytime I talk about bitcoin. Well FUCK them bitcoin is becoming 2000 this 2017.  Grin Cheesy

I feel you bro. My friends are always laughing at me whenever I say to them that they could earn money by doing bitcoin, and they are always be like It is just a scam bro, don't fool yourself and my reply as always Okay. . I am sharing this idea to them because I also want them to earn money and have their own source of income, for them to be able to help their parents on the expenses on school, but they are not that easy to persuade because they are close-minded on stuff like this, and I am feel so sorry for them, because they might regret it in the near future.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $1050.. China "inspection" has to be coming. on: February 21, 2017, 10:35:15 AM
you should all stop waiting around for China to make a move and then you make your move. because while you are waiting around impotently, all the whales all around the world are accumulating coins and getting ready to make their move without you.
China is not going anywhere...

The Chinese are less relevant now.
260  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: January 03, 2017, 04:54:43 PM
Bitcoin had an impressive growth in the new year of 2017 (about 20-30% just only one month)
Who has bought a large amount of bitcoins with this price? if you answer this question, you will know if you should believe in bitcoin.
this is a significant year of bitcoin.

I bought some in the past year.
