That are the problems that bitcoin face on global scale. How we can use bitcoin at the moment if we have so many little problems, and on top of that we need to wait for confirmation or we need to pay extremely high fee to avoid that.
If dev's wish bitcoin to be used for everyday needs they will need to fix this problems and they really need to see about this fees, it will be not so good if they rise more, even now they are high.

The sad thing is that at this point even if you fully try to get everyone you know to use Bitcoin, most people really don't care for a lot of the stuff that bitcoin can offer. Some people try to say that Bitcoin is anonymous and hard to trace (we know this isn't true) but even on that tangent. What normal person in the world really cares about who knows where there money is going?

Or the part about Bitcoin being close to instantly also isn't true at all, we pay a disgusting amount in fees (50 cents or so) on a Coffee which at the most should be costing around $5 (Starbucks I'm going on here) that means your paying an extra 10 percent then tax just to use this weird crypto.

Most people just want to use cash or a credit card, much easier and cheaper for them.

Once we fix the scaling issues, MAYBE it could be used for Coffee but I still doubt it.

I think bitcoin not only been created for investment or trading purposes only. Like money in general, bitcoin created to facilitate people in transactions such as buying and selling. And buy goods with bitcoin I think the common thing to happen. Buying coffee with bitcoin maybe can not be done by any user bitcoin, due to the bitcoin development in each country is different. So buy coffee with bitcoin become unnatural for other bitcoin users. Thank you

Yeah, right? Because why do we need to spend bitcoin to buy a coffee if we can use fiat, is this a way to shout out to the world that we have bitcoins and others don't have? Well, we don't have to be this way, we should be low key as always, be humble, and not use bitcoin on everything where we want to, use it where you think it is worth to be use.

And I would rather spend my fiat just to buy a lot of coffee and save my bitcoin to have profits in the long run.

Well xapo doesnt charge any fees to transactions between their accounts, and if you dont like it you can try poloniex since their fee keeps  being 10k satoshis, soo you can keeo drinking you coffee as before just choose the processors able to keep you happy.

Yes, only with an improvement like segwit we can start buying cheap, little things with bitcoins. Bitcoin isn't fully developed yet to work with full efficiency as users want. And it's not so easy to do, as the community thinks different in many aspects.
To implement something it takes too much time and discussion about.

There is a big problem about bitcoin not being used for micropayments, because that may cause people seek for other solution, but not in the #1 cryptocurrency, but in some altcoins.
If SegWit won't be implemented, bitcoin volume can go slightly lower, because the people will look for some altcoins which basically allow sending small transactions (bitcoin does too, but the fee is too high) which is going to get confirmed fast.

I hope we will find some way to fix the current way of blockchain work, because sometimes the traffic is really huge, and is really annoying for everybody using transaction system ( maybe except miners )

It was created to revolutionize the payment system, and financial sector, but the way to pay by bitcoin for cofee is still far in the future.

I agree with you, if BTC is money, it should buy anything that fiat buys. Since a candy until a plane! But we must understand for now that it's not possible, what doesn't mean it won't be in the future. I think we can't exclude the possibility to buy cheap things with BTCs, because it can be a way to introduce more people into the Crypto Currency world.

This problem because people in rush to get their transaction to be confirmed as soon as possible by adding more fee, so yes ; low fee transaction more likely won't ever be included in blockchain block. The days for spending bitcoin for pennies has ended as bitcoin price reach ATH this year. Who want to buy a cup of coffee but have to add another $1 for fee but it takes longer time to receive.

And worst, transaction fee is way more expensive than a coffee order here in our country.  It would be funny if you spend more on the transaction than on the goods that you bought.  Only and insane person can accept that.  But I think we just need to wait, developer is aware of all of this thing, and am sure there will be a fix for this, the only problem is when.  But rest assured, we can enjoy buying coffee again with bitcoin in the future.
