241  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE 253 blocks solved! on: January 10, 2020, 03:46:45 PM
I now think that gambling that much btc, is not the right thing to do ~ 0.15btc.

This should be a small gamble, but with a chance to win big.

lets say 0.015 btc, is the perfect amount to gamble.
And we can do it once or twice a month.

i did group solo mining a lot in the past, we even found a block.

Put your name down, and lets see if we can get 10 players now, and if we hit a block, each will get ~1.2 btc, and a tip to ck .25 btc

Do not send any coins, lets just see if theres gonna be enough people.

I'm in for an extended run with similar odds and buy in if others are as well. My wife would kill me if I gambled 1.25 BTC. It's easier to get it by her if it's in smaller chunks haha...

Any other fools like me out there want to go for round 2 with lower hash rate and longer duration? Maybe 0.25 BTC each x 10. If my math is right that's 1.7PH for over 77 days and 1 in 6 odds.

Lets wait for the hash run we are doing now to finish.

It could last longer or less then 77 days as we would adjust it every difficulty.

I would not want huge coin up front. As that is a lot to ask.

It would be steady. As my uptime is over 95%

I need to figure out a good price point.

I may start a specialty thread under pools as it may not be fair to use this thread.  I would be assured of a small profit on the rentals even if a block is not hit. I also don't want ck to get zero if I make a few bucks.

Although the only place it is fair to mine on if renting the hash would be solo.ckpool.

Have to think it over. Maybe do 10 day rentals inside of each diff adjustment.  Give me some time to figure it out.

Just a thought.

I rather nicehash does not get a cut and me and ck get something.

Have to figure a good way to structure idea.

count me in with some hashpower, i average around 400Th

Hey Phil, once you get it going can we also point our miners along with it?  The S17 pro can add 74 TH more to it.

Good idea, im going to point all my hash also to boost it,a few hundred Th  Grin

What is the miner info for it?

I do not agree.
If 10 people joined up together on the main pool you still wouldn't get such a large share of the prize. as the rest of the pool takes a slice too.

Here if we team up some hashrate the payout would be much much better.

If that were not the case why would 10 people throw 0.125 btc at a "shot"  at the block.
Why not just point hashrate at it?

Dear friend, ten member with 500GH? what that means? I would cooperate when this team be able to collect 20,000TH. I can provide 200TH.

No it dose not say ten members with 500ghs.

It says 10 members,
with a minimum hashrate to join of 500ghs which would be around a S3 antminer.
It just stops people with stick miners trying to join taking up a place.

Here's an idea Magic,  it would probably be better to start  the pool 10 slots with a minimum 200Th so that way the odds increase with 1Ph

instead of having slots used up by lets say
2-S3 500Gh
3-S4 2Th
2-S9 26Th
1@200Th
1@400Th
1@500Th

Becuase i wouldnt want to bring my 400Th to this game.

259  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE 253 blocks solved! on: December 28, 2019, 07:27:45 PM
I may do a "non-paid" group for members who just want to point some power together and don't want to gamble additional funds on it.

CK NON-PAID BLOCK HUNT

Taking names now and Hash rates.
Code:
1. MagicByt3  | "hashrate7d": "4.05T" | Workers "Lucky777 | Lucky888"
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

How it works
Members pool there hashrate to a single account in a race to find the magic hash!
If successful the 12.5 + fees minus 1% for CK would be generated to :

The minimum hashrate required to join will be 500GH - ie S3 miner and above only.

Code:
3JjsGHYQH8yVJA5G4mgPNHuoX4DHmU5fis

If a block were to be found the reward would be shared out evenly between all members so out of 10 members each member would get around 1.25 BTC + fees,  minus the pool fee for CK
If your miner is OFFLINE for 7 days you will be removed from the hunt.
When you join the hunt please post your info in this format

Code:
1. MagicByt3  | "hashrate7d": "4.05T" | Workers "Lucky777 | Lucky888"

If you currently mine on the solo pool you can check your 7 days average hashrate in your account.

Once we have the list rolling I will collect payout addresses for each user via the PM system.

You can check the worker account at anytime by going here.

http://solo.ckpool.org/users/3JjsGHYQH8yVJA5G4mgPNHuoX4DHmU5fis

Code:
 "shares": 20329757927,
 "bestshare": 36824123071.19016,

I have been a keen member of the community for a while now and would enjoy the management of a project like this

So who's game?

(Lets try beat the paid group and have some fun!)    Grin
