241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have any one had experiences with banned bank/providers because of gambling? on: December 21, 2023, 04:59:12 PM
I find this very frustrating when i see people complain about their funding bank/provider account being banned because of gambling related activities. My younger just called me and told me his raven account was banned and he has been using it to deposit dollars in his gambling platform and also paying for subscriptions online. I want to get this clear.

Is it because of the gambling activities that got his account banned or it is because of the legitimacy of the funds that raven are more concerned about?

Is there any gambling platform that needs to be avoided?

Since i woke up we've been trying to contact their support for complaint and no response yet. Is there anyone with similar experience?

Not a permanent block or ban but in past I had problem with my skrill for withdrawing my gambling funds. If you don't know, Skrill was the most popular payment platform to get money to and from your bank and into and out of gambling sites. Paypal was always problematic and many gambling sites didn't supported it.
I had money from different sources and my bank in the skrill account, I deposited some amount to a popular gambling site to bet for the world cup. I made a decent profit and withdrew it to my skrill. It went without an issue but there were trouble from skrill on getting it to my bank as I had mixed my gambling euros to non-gambling euros. With months of trouble, I redeemed my cash but stopped using skrill.

One player who can stay at one club for the duration of his career is Thomas Muller, he is so loyal to Bayern Munich. Now he is set to remain at the club after extending his contract.
He is a player who contributes to the team, although he doesn't always score many goals each season, but his presence is felt during the game.
One of the reasons why he is so at home at Bayern Munich in my opinion is because at Bayern Munich the chances of getting the title are so high and we can see it now when Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga in a row for more than a decade. No one can break their dominance during that time.
Thomas Muller is very good player for Bayern Munich and in my opinion I think he should continue to play their and retire as a legend at Bayern Munich, Muller might be getting older but he's still good at the ball and has lots of experience to offer to the team, and I'm quite sure alot of younger teammates would be looking up to him as a role model, based on his loyalty and good record in the club.

It's a good thing Muller extended his carrier with Bayern Munich, cause the chances of him retiring as a legend in the club could become a reality, also I think Manchester United would had made a silly mistake in try to get him, despite the fact that he's a good player, I don't think he'll blend into United's style of play and the fact that he's not younger should've even discouraged them from getting him
Yes I think so too, he will retire with Bayern Munich and Bayern Munich themselves will certainly be in the middle of it. For a few seasons, there weren't many rumors about him moving on or any clubs really interested in signing him. Even if there was it was just a rumor that in the end we never saw the transfer actually take place.
He's very comfortable at this club, in fact I've never heard of him having any problems, be it with fellow players, with the coach or with the club management. That proves he has a good attitude and can be mature enough to control himself.
You are right, even if Manchetser United can get this player it is not certain that he can play like at Bayern Munich, especially with the problems that always come to Manchester United that in my opinion will make him uncomfortable.
Thomas Muller is currently 34 years of age but looks somehow older than his physical looks who I believe is a natural to some people. He's already considered as a legend in Bayern Munich and I don't think he's fit enough to make any big move to a big European club at the moment. When Muller was younger, he had received a lot of offers from numerous football clubs across Europe Manchester United included but the former German international never considered leaving Bayern Munich and that's why I don't think he'll be leaving now. Of there's any possibility of seeing Muller leave Bayern Munich, then I think it'll be to one of the Saudi Arabian clubs or maybe a Major League Soccer club.

At his current age and performance, it'll be absolutely unwise for Manchester United to sign a footballer like Thomas Muller.

German players are content on their national league. Bundesliga has a large following, huge sponsorships and their own style of playing which involves a fast paced attacking game.
It's not as easy for other players to get used to the Bundeslliga and Bundesliga player into other leagues. That makes them somewhat isolated. There are players that switched between leagues like Robert Lewandowski, Arjen Robben, Kevin de Bruyne, Heung-Min Son but not any large german names.
Thomas muller personally has always played in German clubs starting as a kid to current age. It would be safer for him to retire it from the Munich.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 20, 2023, 04:35:17 PM
Manchester City have won the EPL, the Champions League and the FA Cup. The team spent a lot of effort to make this treble. So this season, they will most likely save their energy for rebuilding. And City will most likely focus on winning the Champions League. I expect Manchester City to recover for next season and they will once again fight for the championship in the EPL.

Losing a lot of energy this season is not an obstacle for them to continue playing consistently. At least the chemistry must be maintained by all the Manchester City players, even though they have not dominated all the matches this season, at least they can get a trophy this season for the title race this season, it looks like Manchester City still have the opportunity to achieve it, even though sometimes they lose consistency in every match or the players experience fatigue in some of their important matches, as defending champions this season.
Before the season ends, Manchester City always has the chance to win the League. Their performance this season raises some doubts about their success like last season, they dropped too many points in the last few games to leave them far behind the top of the standings. Arsenal and Liverpool are still very consistent in maintaining their performance, Aston Villa is also starting to provide competition in the top four.
The new strength that Aston Villa has formed makes them a dark horse team that is ready to beat big teams. Manchester City has also experienced Aston Villa's ferocity this season. As teams increase in strength this season, such as Liverpool, which is starting to enter the title race, Manchester City's chances are getting smaller, especially since recently they have not been able to maintain their performance.

There's still a lot of game to be played but the performance of Manchester City is not improving but going on a downturn. Football is all about the team sports.
And when Manchester City is not able to save a 2 goals lead in it's own home against a team like Crystal Palace, no miracles are coming if there's not a change.
I'm not quite a fan of Manchester City as in modern times, they were never as strong till arabs bought every good players, yet they have some capable individual players and an excellent coach, Pep Guardiola, that I respect. I'd be happy to see old school teams like Arsenal and Liverpool win the league this time.

There were quite a few surprises from the IPL auction yesterday. Players who were retained would be complaining that the ones who got the bid this year benefitted a lot. Mitchell Starc setup a new record, with a bid of $2,980,000 from Kolkata Knight Riders. Pat Cummins was not far behind, with a bid of $2,470,000 from Sunrisers Hyderabad. But the real surprise package was Daryl Mitchell who got a bid of $1,687,000 from the Chennai Super Kings. Cricket Australia would be most happy, as they will receive a fraction of the contract amount (20%) as foreigner release fee.
I am also surprised with few bids because I have feeling Pat Cummins not deserved this but still he is happy with Cricket Australia is enjoying this all because we all know this IPL is well benefited for the B-4 and they all enjoying and having good financial help as well, but my biggest disappointment was Phil Salt which is today's social media hot topic as well because he scored two back to back centuries and already having good time in T20i for the England he also deserved good bid but no franchise goes for this which is surely big disappointment.

Overall we have nothing new thing as Australians were expected to have this with their recent ODI world cup win in India and mostly other players were already retained by franchises, but I have a feeling Pat Cummins is going to be overrated on this price.

Yes IPL is a win for every player drafted and more so for the large bid winners. Australian players have proved their worth not just on current series but they also have made significant effect on every IPL tournaments. The difference on the ones highest paid and others that are not so highly paid may not have such huge difference in performance.
And the team bidding such price might have reasons for that and IPL is not just about winning for the teams. It's an overall advertisement platform.
What viewers and gamblers get overall are thrilling close contest short format game entertainment.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 19, 2023, 05:07:09 PM
Man City would play Danish champions Copenhagen a team which I believe is a less formidable opponent thus I don't think it is going to be a difficult match for Man City they two clubs previous meeting ended in favor of Man City they played a goalless draw at Copenhagen while in second leg Man City thrashed them 5-0 at Etihad stadium I think in this round of 16 Man City would have an easy qualifications same with Arsenal who play Porto, however after their qualifications for the quarterfinals then they would likely be drawn against a much more formidable opponent, from my own point of view Man City squad of this season isn't as strong like that of last season thus their chances of retaining the UCL would be very tough and unsure.
Copenhagen in the group stage did take us by surprise with the qualification they were able to get pass the group stage when we leat expected from them because at the beginning of the season, they did appear like they wear a weak team amongst others in the group, they only had Galatasaray as their equal but then it turned out they are now qualified for the round of sixteen.

I believe Manchester city will still win Copenhagen because Manchester city does even better in the champions league and they don't look more superior to Copenhagen both in their team depth and strength so I think unlike the group stage games, Copenhagen is really going to find it difficult in the round of sixteen because the competition here is even more intensive. Arsenal looks like a better team against Porto and I definitely not expect any much from Porto but more from arsenal to win this game because they look more promising with their performance this season.

Manchester city did have a lucky draw, with their current form, Copenhagen won just 2 of their six league matches and was just lucky that other in the group performed inferior.
Among 9 English, German and spanish team in the top 16, none of them are competing each other except for Leipzig vs Real Madrid, just because there are no other team left.
And English, German and Spanish are expected to come victorius and the only competition I feel is for Real Sociedad who would play with PSG.

The Biden bannered team have already lost unless something huge unforseen event happens on the US politics.
Legally not allowing Trump to run was a good idea but they don't seem to have same level of influence on judiciary as they have on media.
Another large loss to the hegemony was the buying of Twitter by Musk. Musk has said he'd remain neutral and when there's no Twitter to feed the propoganda, it's hard for the establishment to remain in power. Trump is the safe bet for now.

South Africa vs India

Today is the first ODI match between these two teams. And the South Africa has won the toss and chose to bat first. Both teams are good. Because we saw in the ICC World Cup. These two teams qualified for the Semifinal. But unfortunately South Africa disqualified for final match after losing the semifinal match.
India was good in the ICC World Cup. But here we can't say anything at this time Because in the T20I series both teams played two matches out of three matches and both win one one match. So these both have the equal chances so this is really hard to predict at this time. So let's see. The match will start after 10 minutes. Smiley
In 1st ODI South Africa won toss and made 116 for all out in 28th overs what a excellent bowling by Arshdeep singh takss 37/5 wickets in 10 overs and Avesh Khan took 27/4 in 8 overs Indian bowlers dominant on south africa team with his good bowling. After excellent bowling indian batsman chase down the target 117/2 in 17th overs Sudharsan and Shreyas iyer made fifties help his team to won this match by 8 wickets and 33 overs before india start their 3 matches series with 1st win. 2nd match will be played on Tuesday
South Africa stumbled early against the magic bowling of Arshdeep and Avesh. India made a strong comeback in ODIs, securing a dominant win over Proteas. Chasing SA's target of 117, just in the 17th over. Special congratulations to Shreyas Iyer and Sai Sudharshan for their brilliant batting, especially Sudharshan's impressive half-century. Despite being a debutant, Sudharshan looks like a seasoned player already. However, it's just one match.

It was quite clear for start that South Africa is no competition to India, specially on longer formats where luck factor are smaller. Non of the South African batsmen were able to settle on the pitch with 7 of them not even getting to a double digit. The South African team has failed to balance the team after their stars left while India has a lot of options that can replace and fit for any alternatives. The place where Arshdeep and Avesh could improve are wides, there were plenty of wides delivered even though the bowlers were never in pressure.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 17, 2023, 02:49:42 PM
It's too bad Man City is becoming less formidable in their recent matches it's seem the team is gradually losing their bid to defend their title because Arsenal and Liverpool won't give any room for complacency in their next matches for Man City to close the gap on them, I think Pep Guordiola bid to break the record of winning the premier league in four successive time by the club is gradually slipping out of their hand, Man City had only won one of six last previous matches this is a bad record for a defending champion to successful defend their title, meanwhile Man Utd has an opportunity to redeem themselves from their last dismal performance against Bournemouth later today though the odds favors Liverpool I hope Man Utd would spring a surprise.
Manchester City is experiencing a bad period after being held to a draw by Crystal Palace and is stuck in fourth place in the standings. Efforts to overtake Aston Villa in third place in the standings have been postponed. A result that Guardiola did not expect, because with the tight competition in the top four, losing points would mean a disaster. The opportunity to retain the trophy becomes smaller, while providing a straight path for Liverpool and Arsenal to control the top of the standings, especially if both manage to secure full points today.

Regarding the match between Liverpool versus Manchester United, I think this match is quite difficult to predict, even though statistically Jurgen Klopp squad deserves to be superior. United have all the attributes to trouble Liverpool in their efforts to maintain their position at the top of the standings, and United habit of playing well when facing fellow big clubs. So it makes sense that this match has the potential to end in a draw, for another reason Ten Hag wants to save his career at Old Trafford after failing in the UCL.

Yet another setback for Manchester City. They should have won this against Crystal Palace. Maybe a bad luck and the omen doesn't seem right for them.

Arsenal vs Brighton. The score is a 0-0 till the half. Arsenal is dominating in every aspects and if they don't commit a blunder and keep up the performance in 2nd half, Arsenal should easily win this on their home ground.

Aston Villa vs Brentford. Brentford scored 1 on home crowd. Was much  more one sided on Aston Villa's way but they conceded a goal on injury time of the first half. A loss or draw with Brentford and their placement would be shaky on the table.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prove me wrong: Gambling is both more relaxing and entertaining than trading! on: December 16, 2023, 02:15:35 PM
The thing that makes the time pass at ease on gambling is you know by when there would be a result and mostly the result comes pretty soon.
While on trading, you could be waiting for months for the price to hit your upper or lower point.
The pro about trading is you don't lose all of it and if analysed better, you have better odds at winning. But it's not as fun as gambling.
I was lucky today and doubled my $50 to $100 trading a coin in 12 hours. But I could just bet all of my $50 bankroll and have x4 profits in seconds or a complete loss.
Personally I believe trading should be taken as a way of earning rather than a fun place to gamble like casino.

Sharing is beautiful, so it can't only be done when you win a bet. The problem is, some people may be able to collect the rewards they have done for their kindness at another time, especially when they feel neglected when needed, this is a natural human trait that is difficult to prevent. Of course, whatever you can give to others, try not to exceed your ability to be sincere, otherwise you will always remember your kindness.
Sharing with other people will indeed make us happy in receiving it and we also have to see whether the person is worthy of what we give or not, because there are some people who we have given to them and they do not appreciate what we give so it is very sad for those who give it , it would be better if we never help people like this because they will feel that what we have given them is not enough.

Remembering what we have given to other people will indeed make us count what we have given to other people and also we will be angry when that person cannot help us when we need help from them, so it would be better for us to forget what we have given. we give to others and remember well the people who have helped us when we need it.

Sharing the win seems like a worldwide phenomenon. As a kid, I used to sit around adults gambling or playing cards in hope of getting some tips or commission for bringing beers with the win money.  It's a good gesture in a physical casino a round of drinks to everyone on the table. And the amount do depend on the person and how much they have won or lost overall.
A person who has many losses and a large win is not entitled to satisfy anyone with a tip. Not just them but nobody is entitled to do anything. People can tip any amount to anyone at their ease and should not be morally forced to.

In the U19 Asia cup there were surprising results in the semi finals. Pakistan U19 which had won over Indian U19 in the leagues lost to UAE U19 which on the league have won over Sri Lanka U19. It's the first time UAE's team has reached the finals and on another surprise today, Indian U19 team lose against Bangladesh U19.
Bangladesh and UAE would now meet at the finals on Sunday. Bangladesh has been undefeated on this tournament while UAE has a home advantage.

You are at the poker table and then one guy on the other side raises the plot to $20 and then another $50. Knowing your pair may not win if he has a higher pair, you decide to fold.

If I were on the table, I would like to know what his cards are so that I can know sometime in the future whether he is bluffing or not but he just mixes his cards with the rest of the pile without me knowing what they are. I'd feel like I am cheated.

Would you just be annoyed not knowing the cards that made you fold?

This bothers everyone and actually is the beauty of poker. Bluffing is what makes poker interesting and different from other forms of gambling. It also involves reading your opponents mind and making your competitor believe you are not bluffing.
It's a wiser move to let bluffers win than take risk on your poor set of cards. But if you believe your cards are competitive, you should not stay behind provided your bankroll backs you up. Occasional bluffs are considered a strategic move but the person that bluffs too much would not be taken serious by the table and when there are multiple opponents in the table, the bluffers would have higher chances of losing.

Marco Jansen and Gerald Coetzee will be unavailable for the third match, as they have been released from the squad to play in the domestic 4-day competition. Coetzee was in terrific form and picked up 3 wickets during the second match (Tilak Varma, Ravindra Jadeja and Arshdeep Singh). In their absence, the South African pace attack will be lead by Lizaad Williams, Nandre Burger and Andile Phehlukwayo. There is a chance that Ottniel Baartman will be drafted in to the squad. Spin attack will be lead by Tabraiz Shamsi, after his terrific spell in the first match.

India should be able to win the third match. They will be having a pretty good advantage. Right now there is no chance for them to be able to win this series. All they can do is to not lose and save the series with a draw. And with some players that played for South Africa in the second match in which they actually lost, not being available, India should be able to have a good chance to win. But India will have to improve their performance in the bowling. Because in the first match, the bowling was absolutely trash from India.

Rain has favored South Africa to date on the tournament. The first match washed by rain and left were just two. And South Africa had a smaller target to follow to win on the 2nd T20 but still struggled and rain came to help with DN giving them even smaller run to chase. There are less chances of rain today. Even though India wins this match they'll just level the tournament.
Comparing the current performance, the India team lacking some star players is still a overkill for South African team and if India got to bowl first, it's difficult to stop them.

the 1.fc.köln has to pay a fine of 595,000 euros for firing pyrotechnics . the match had to be interrupted for 8 minutes .
this is the highest fine imposed by the dfb so far. the 1.fc.köln has lodged a protest against this drastic fine  Wink
it looks really nice. but unfortunately it's also dangerous for the fans

That is a huge amount.
But it was clear that the DFB would increase the fines. Because the clubs have not managed to stop such actions so far. Again and again, these so-called fans manage it to smuggle in so much pyrotechnics. I know that there is always a discussion for and against it. But as you have already written, it is dangerous for the fans.

Never realized Germans were so deep into pyro in their football culture. It's not even a new thing to them. And they are talking about legal and illegal fireworks for fans.
In my opinion any playing of fire from the fans should be outright banned. It's absurd to let fans of competing teams allowed in with things that could easily be weaponized. And German fans are already considered one of the largest hooligans in Europe. If allowed to continue, they could bring more severe incidents in the future. A disaster in the making.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 13, 2023, 01:55:20 PM
Just trying to get the communities opinion based on their experience about the topic.

Personally, a a bettor, I find it very stressful when watching the game you are betting especially if it will end up a losing bet.

If we have the same experience, how do you cope up with that problem, after all, gambling should be fun but why we have this kind of feeling that we feel disappointed when our bet loses?

Generally, I feel I'm more into the game when the bet is placed but when there's surety of my loss, the interest is decreased dramatically. Specially on longer game formats.
The watching experience also depends on where and with whom you are watching. What sort of game it  is and is your national or local team is participating. When you are in a crowd or a peer group, the excitement are on next level.
Betting is another uncertainty and excitement you can add on already uncertain and exciting matches.

Gambling is a dangerous thing if got addicted to. Gambling is always associated with mental breakdown, suicide and homicide.
People addicted to gambling keeps on increasing their bet amount and risk when they start loosing and don't even stop when they are finally winning.
When they bet everything they have, they takes the family possession, takes loans, destroys them and their family which is a recipe for suicide and homicides.
People should learn to be responsible before leaning into high stakes gambling.

258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Altcoins Investment Experience on: December 09, 2023, 01:51:52 PM
I did invest in lots of altcoins and i received many tokens from bounties as reward. I experienced that, most of the tokens turns into shitcoin or dead after a few months. Some Altcoins performed very good for a certain time then all of those lost 90-95% of values and still traded on exchange with so called volume. Thus process is continued. Even top altcoins also replaced by new altcoins. 2017 vs 2023.

Moral: I think BTC and ETHEREUM is better option for investment, Can be trusted blindly, profitable for long. Low Ranked Altcoins, Memecoins and shitcoins are just headache and reason of huge losses in long time. But anyone can invest his money wherever they want.

99% of the contemporary projects goes to become nothing. In most cases it's wiser to dump you bounty coins as soon as you can in exchange of some top level coins. Though some coins becomes a success and could bring more profit than you expect.
Btc and eth are good options but there are a hundred more coins that I believe could perform better than btc and Ethereum in long term as well as short term.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trend or long term projects? on: December 09, 2023, 02:05:35 AM
Crypto is mostly unexpected and we don't know which token will give us high profit. sometimes we expect a big pump in the token and we believe that this project has a lot of potential but this token performance remains low throughout bull and bear season just like DOT and Cardano while some coins we often called them scam and spam pumped hard like ORDI, Pepe, Floki. It's all about trend when trend end then no one want to buy these coins.

What is your suggestions about profit from altcoins. Should we rely on only buying long term projects or we should invest according to trend despite of looking that trends coin will have no value in future?

If you are in for trading, go for trends. Who would wait for years when you can double your money in months.
If you are in for investment and have no time for the hassle of watching prices move everytime, find a good coin and put some money in it and wait till it x5.
Both strategies have its pros and cons. And you can go with both getting the fruits of both trees.
Another way of passive trading+investing is grid trading where you get the profit of price fluctuations till your coin gets to the desired price.

Well, it was popular and big, but right now it lost its spot. People are focused on BTC, ETH, and new projects now mostly, at least as I see it. Litecoin need something more than just being a good and quality coin to become really big again.

At first glance, what is said is also true. My experience last year when there was a market correction was somewhat different from this year. LTC prices did not rise too significantly and were still in the normal category. if I see. However, whether there will be good news for LTC this year, we should wait together.

Litecoin price has started to rise since yesterday. 6% increase over the 24 hours was better than bitcoin and many other altcoins. Now it's time for the litecoin hodlers.
The price is still struggling to get over the resistance of 80. And the pace of rise in other coins are already down. If you have bought below the price of 80 like me, it would be a wise idea to sell some around 98 to book a profit. Though I still believe the price would easily hit 125.
