So... about that script? EWBF? Anybody?
It should be fairly simple to write a miner reset code when sols drop to zero, I'm not a dev, but it's no nuclear science, right guys?

@Zoke ROFL thanks for the tip. But sometimes it isn't related to that, and I have 5 rigs, I can't spend whole day looking at the matrix. @patrike, thanks, I'll check it out and let you know what I think.

SOMEBODY PLEASE write the correct script/code for miner reset when a GPU hangs, 'thread exit code 46 - or whichever".
It happens to me during the night and I lose hours of mining because of that, I tried all suggestions from this topic, but nothing worked.
And send me your btc address, I'll give out a reward to successful solution.

Guys, my L3 got to over 82c, so I decided to down clock it a bit... Does anybody know the thermal limit of these machines?
How much it it? 80? 85? 90? 100?
|
|
|
I OC'd my L3 and one chip is running around 80c, I'm guessing that is their thermal limit? Does anybody know the exact figure?
Thanks

Did somebody try this code? It works?

|

I tried, but first I got an error saying"Error initializing database environment /Users/xyz/Library/Application Support/EnergyCoin! To recover, BACKUP THAT DIRECTORY, then remove everything from it except for wallet.dat." and when I did that, then it says: "wallet.dat corrupt, salvage failed".
I backed up the files and returned to previous state, then I just get the first message.
Thanks for your help.

I'm mining with 1070's, I OC'ed them and cant get past 450 for the most part, can you achieve higher "revs"?

Moze osnovni info, koliki su limiti i kolika je provizija?

450 freq. stable mining, but temp is rising, even though miner is in an AC'd room, hottest chip around 70-74c. I'm getting 295 mhs. Overall, I'm impressed so far, this is an almost 20% speed increase. This baby might be able to break 300 mhs.

Guys, anybody overclocked their L3 (or L3+), how far can they go?
Basically, mine paid itself 4x already and I have nothing to lose, so I'd like to crank it up as much as possible.
I have my settings on 425mhz and hashing stable 550mhs. Let me know your tests. Now it takes 860w. Cool! I have an L3 which earned a lot already, so I wanna try how high can it can go. So far it's stable on 406, I didn't go above, but the temperature is still pretty ok (70c), so I'll definitely try it higher. I'm getting 266.5 mhs on 406. I'm guessing it's ok to go up to 79c, right? I shouldn't mine on higher than 80c. What temp are you getting at 425 mhz? I do have it in my basement and middle Europe so the temp is great - hottest board has 62c. You know it's the same with all the computers - higher temperature means higher chance to stop working... If you burn it over 80c - and that's possible, that's not a problem but you have to change that secure that stops hashing at 80c - it would run... but nobody knows how long. Nobody knows it at 60c either so you can give it a try. I wasn't higher than 425mhz yet. My have to work for at least 10more days to roi Mid Europe is colder, I'm more in southern part of Europe, where it's already pretty hot at times. Yeah, I'll do some more testing and report back the results.

I'll keep it short. I'm looking for experienced crypto C++ developer(s) for new, interesting project, good benefits and salary, long term collaboration.
Please send me a PM, anybody who is interested, and include the references.
Thanks

Hi guys, I'm selling the original Bitmain APW3 PSU (1600W), not used, I got it with my L3, but I use platinum PC PSU (saves me some Watts), the PSU is like 1 month old and it's just sitting in my house. I will NOT ship to US, because it would literally cost around $80 to ship it from southeast Europe (unless there is some Yank willing to pay for that too). So any of you from Europe or Middle East interested (or Africa I guess ), drop me a PM please. tnx

I use drivers 378.78
I hardly know anything in the world of nvidia
but I am getting 1850 h for zec and using 616 watts at the kill-a-watt meter. and I know that is my hot meter my other meter would read 580 or so.
This rig has amd drivers loaded I could see if I can add a rx 480 to it later in the week.
I would be curious to see If I can run eth with the rx 480 and zec with the nvidia's
I am using 1 riser for the 1080 zotac mini the two 1080 ti are in full slots.
hahaha, the company produces consumption measuring device and calls it "kill-a-watt"? Golden! On topic - that is a really nice hashrate. From 5x480s I get 1530 hash, while using 800W (it's the sweetspot), Nvidia blows AMD out of the water with zec. Anyways, I read a lot online about the mini cards, gamers and "casual" users hate them, they say they throttle more easily, their fan runs on higher RPM etc etc... so I'm back to square 1, I'm thinking about getting the full size ones, price is the same...

TIP: to remove screw with a sticker, you have to use a vise grip (smaller nose to avoid hitting stuff when you turn it) on the screw but cover it a paper towel or a fine cloth.....I'm successful at MSI cards for 3 times already Haha, great tip! I'll try it out @philipma1957 - yes, I agree, but I think 1070 has a better ROI, especially if you can get one for $350. It can do 460 sol/s at a sweetspot, and use like 140W. Cheapest 1080 ti I can find in EU is around $730 without shipping, and it does around 630 sol/s on ZEC while using 250W? So, how about my 1070 mini question? I'd get 6 of them, strictly for ZEC, good idea?
