The ideology of the crypto-currency is decentralization. In ETH it is absent.
If you value decentralization why did you choose DPoS? It's the most corrupting consensus system, leading to cartels and centralization. This consensus is more flexible than all the others, for it makes it easy to shoot delegates if the community considers them not worthy I doubt you don't realize serious issues with DPoS - they're clearly visible in Lisk and Ark. Once voting cartel is created it becomes powerful enough to overcome community opposition. DPoS coins end up in endless politics instead of doing something productive.

why we can't deposit etz to yobit? It says "Deposit for such currency is temporary off.". Also there is no offline wallet. I have etz in MEW, but can't move them.
to make deposits on yobit, we need a certain adjusted scheme. While the coin was not added to other exchanges, I do not think that you need to include deposits on yobit If you wish to get EtherZero and sell them right now you should go to Ether-zero.net - GET ETZ link. This is the only place where they will create a ETZ wallet on Yobit for you. Now ETZ can only be sold on Yobit.net and you cannot simply send your ETZ there. The only way at this moment is using Ether-zero.net. This guy is spreading lies and misinformation. It's not possible to create Yobit wallet with external service. Currently ETZ deposits to Yobit aren't possible. Also, withdrawals page shows that ETZ wallet is in maintenance, so you can neither deposit nor withdraw ETZ from there.

Hacker accounts will be blacklisted by exchanges, his XEM will be useless.
I do not believe any human will or would be able to contact all places trading XEM before said coins are moving? (if true what I'm reading here - that there are stolen funds) edit Wow Lon Wong has appeared to confirm Coincheck was hacked, calling the stolen funds "the biggest theft in the history of the world." CMC https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nem/#markets shows 32 markets, and the number of exchanges is less than 32, so it's not that many. The hack is in the news everywhere, and the exchanges could easily track and blacklist the addresses. Question is if they're really going to do this

What happens to those who already have higher ranks and still don't post quality post? IMO, I think some people will be content on that level if they can still participate in signature bounties. It would be nice to see bounty managers use a system on par with the merit system in order to achieve more efficient results.
For example, if a person does not meet up to a required amount of merit within a stipulated time, especially after joining the signature bounty, they could be removed from the bounty.
you get a merit... campaign managers "should" start using merit as the metrics for joining campaigns.. then the bar will over time be set higher and higher. this will then improve all membership levels posts.. Well, be careful what you wish for. Are you absolutely sure you would like your payout to be dependent not on your work ONLY, but ALSO on the actions of other random guys from this forum? I doubt I'd join a campaign in which the payouts depended on the merits awarded by others. Black/grey merits market will emerge immediately after campaign managers start adding merit-based conditions.

Will there really be running forging on Elastic someday. I'm thinking of buying a really large number of coins now or waiting for it to become available in the project?
I think the number of coins won't matter for the future forgers since they will be selling their processing power, and it won't be dependent on your stake size. Maybe, with increasing transactions volume, forging (in its current form) will be more profitable.

I think its a safe bet to count this as a loss now. Its pretty much shot itself. Even if by some miracle the exchange was ever being developed, how is anyone supposed to have any faith in the guy running it after it goes live. Reputation has been ruined by the way he is hiding in the dark at such a crucial time, so many unanswered questions.
Would you seriously recommend anyone send their bitcoin to this guys operation after the way he is treating the initial investors. Sorry, but I just wouldn't do it. Gonna need a huge turnaround to see this ever coming back to something near a trusted project. I just dont see it happening.
Well, many still believe it's gonna work out somehow, but reputation is ruined indeed, and the counter on the website shows 6 days to launch Surprisingly, you can still sell it on Yobit for 13-14k.

What really distinguish BCH from BTC? Except low fee, faster transactions and bigger block. Why do you think it is superior? I'm not a troll or anything like that I'm just being curious. Is development really decentralized or it is just being maintained by solely deadalinx? I know Bitcoin Unlimited develop BCH full node and Bitcoin ABC develop client. And there are other supporters. What is exactly you mean by saying Satoshi vision.
It's interesting for me. And I think it will be helpful for newcomers.
BCH's vision is basically different because of: -there's no Segwit -removed RBF and CPFP -no fears for on-chain scaling, with (potentially) LN as an additional use case As usually, time will tell who's right

Can someone tell me if I have to move Bitcoin to Yobit or Coinomi or other partner or exchange listed on the website to get the BCA ?
No, you don't have to do anything. All you need is private keys for your BTC address(es). After the fork you can decide what to do. I asked the same question earlier tonight, read the last couple pages to see the replies.
Short tell: the consensus is no, you don't. But to move the BCA after the hard fork, you'll need an Atom exchange and wallet. but I'm a newb so don't trust me, read the last couple pages for what the experienced folks say.
You SHOULD move your BTC BEFORE doing anything with your BCA.

The EtherZero wallet will be release in 1-2 months. At this moment you can only use Yobit.net ETZ wallet and trade ETZ there https://yobit.net/en/trade/ETZ/USDEthereZero Team created service to move your ETZ coins to YoBit wallet because their own wallet is not ready yet. Here is the link: http://ether-zero.net/etz.html (this is their mirror site to avoid MetaMask lock). You should enter your private keys to prove your ownerhsip of the balance and your Nick at Yobit.netIf you don't have an acocunt with Yobit.net it's very easy to register a new one in several minutes at https://yobit.net. All you need is to confirm your email address. I wish you good luck with your ETZ coins! I already got my ETZ coins at YoBit wallet via this site and changed them to USD. Omg, this is just insane. This user is spreading bullshit over the forum, also in Korean, Russian and Japanese threads. Do not use private keys anywhere online unless you want to donate your coins to scammers.

After reading many pages of this thread I'm starting to get confused - red flags pointing at a scam or just FUD? Probably the best thing people should do is just to wait until the issue is 100% clear - anyway if it is a legit fork your coins are there forever for you to claim.
Greed has driven all this mess, so there's confusion everywhere. I'm not sure that the team (and I guess nobody knows who is in the team) will be able to clear it to the point that this fork could be treated seriously. Anyway, let's just wait how it's going to work out...

so tomorrow is supposedly when they release the second round of coins but i've noticed they've removed january 24th as a thing from their website. is anyone expecting anything from tomorrow other than ruin?
i followed the steps. i'm still showing up as a zero on the ub explorer. it's still showing this unutilised crap with no explanation as to what it actually means.
Yes, that's basically a crap. It's 3 weeks after the distribution and nothing works, no communication - just waste of time. I have at least one BTC address satisfing all 3 conditions from here https://www.ub.com/project/get, and it shows 0 balance in their explorer too.

He's all alone with no social/communication skills. How do you imagine him to onboard new staff to cope with all the issues the users will be experiencing? How is he going to manage the exchange if, instead of fully focusing on the Beta and then the launch, he's having fun with some useless XMAS coin? Sure that is true, I just wanted to say that for working exchange you dont need huge team to run it, you need people who do understand their work. If we see exchange running than maybe next year and than the boom is over already with the incoming regulations. I can see you still have a hope for the exchange, but after watching this for quite a long time now, he doesn't seem to be fully committed in this project. I understand his position was really hard after the fire, but the exchange was a great chance for fairly quick financial recovery. Many exchanges stopped accepting new users, and many of them have their own issues, so a new dynamic exchange similar to Binance could have become a big thing.

Any eta on mainnet, launch, any other dates?
There're no ETA of any kind in this project - it's just a voluntary work There were announcements about site redesign. Is it still under redesign process? Just curious why it takes so much time? Is there any new changes in programming code? What kind of work have been done for the last time since previous announcement ( I think it was in december)
You can track progress in github here https://github.com/OrdinaryDude/ElasticPrototypeWallet/commits/masterand here https://github.com/sprocket-fpga/xel_miner/commits/masterThe second repo was maintained by CR, but he announced he's leaving, so not sure if he handed out the access to someone else, or it will be just copied to another one (if/when required) Not sure who's in charge for the website

Yet the fees are the lowest they have been in while 20sat/B transactions are being processed now The reason may be the number of transactions per day goes down recently. https://blockchain.info/charts/n-transactionsPeople don't use BTC for transfers - great opportunity to consolidate dust
