Vitalik's suggestion that Eth merge with Bitcoin Cash is not helping with clarity either.
But will this merger be just marketing related or will the blockchains be merged? Neither. My understanding is that running Ethereum on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain network is a short term bandaid to handle scaling to give more time to Vitalik and the team to come up with a true solution. If I understand that right (and that's a big if) then seems to me that this would dilute the brand at a very risky time and confuse an already cloudy space. I don't think it would be good for price, and since it is stated as a short term fix I don't think it would be good for the Ethereum network in general. There is also always the danger that this short term fix could become permanent, as they so often do and the long term scaling issue never truly goes away. so competition is open for dAPPS with waves, who is fully scalable, benefits from a functional DEX, and where transactions are low-cost and instant. |

concurrence is welcome with ETH.
The latest rumors tell that ETH will use BCash(!!!) network "for a while" for scalability. This would show clearly the weakness of ETH. Also BCash has plenty of enemies. WAVES could use this for a bit more aggressive advertising, maybe it can gain a better position for long term... thank you for the good news, unfortunately i cannot send any merit; also if sasha is confirmed to have sold its stake in vostok, and has launched waves buyback, a new interesting phase opens. |

Ethereum is not fully ready to show mind blowing as people were expecting this year it will rock but the news are not looking good and it could bring more pressure in future. I already move to other coin because of some bad news.

As you know waves platform not using more than 0.1% of all market altcoin ,mostly using EHT smart contract and other but waves uses is very rare for smart contract, so WAVES can't replace ETH.
Waves smart contracts are very new, need some new actors to develop them. |

Thought by now waves must hace done something about this constant fake assets created on waves platform, those who are familiar with wavesdex understand what am talking about, you have so many scam token been created just to confuse users and possibly scam them, i really felt for the dude for his loss i guess he should be more observant and sure of where you throw your money at.
