241  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is so unfair on: March 23, 2018, 01:39:17 AM
Isn't it so unfair for the people who is new here? That will be struggling making such as good quality post so they could be given a merit by someone. I know all of you is having a hard time thinking what are you going to post such as good quality.

It is really hard to have a merit it is because as far as I know:
People are selfish. Even though you post a really good quality post still there is a people who won't give you a merit.
Some are alone. Like me, I don't really have much friend who would give me a free merit. I know that it is easy to have a merit with a friend that have an account of bitcointalk.

My question is. Why still need merit? We are still struggling to rank because of the merit.

I believe that one way to show others that you are good enough and that you really deserve to be in this forum is through the posts we have. Well basically, we don't all know who are we conversing with and we can not assume that there is favoritism or bias choosing of whom should we give our merits so technically, it is how you really post. I think it is just fair. Maybe you are just not confident of your posts. Better improve it.
242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Try to recover loss on: March 22, 2018, 12:40:13 PM
To lose in such investment means to invest again. It is very important to be positive in this type of investment.
As we try to recover from loss, we have to invest again.. Sad to hear but maybe, back to zero. And that is the reality. There is no perfect investment. There is always a risk.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: March 22, 2018, 11:51:45 AM
That's right. Use healthy activities like sports to be a substitute on your gambling time. They say that it takes 21 days for a person to make an activity as a habit that it could remove even your urge to gamble completely.

21 days is not so long. do other activities and do it regularly. With the new habits you do in your usual time for your old habits then you will replace those old habits with new habits. If you've started it you just need to be patient.
The question is whether the person can do his new habit regularly and be able to forget the habit of gambling at the same time? 21 days is not a short time if we talk about forgetting the daily activities that have become part of our lives.

It is very easy to advise than to do what is being advised.
THe challenge to change yourself is not an easy thing, regardless the fact of being addicted into something or not. THe motivation always comes from the inner drive of the one who suffers it.
244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Will be Zero on: March 22, 2018, 11:23:10 AM
Welcome to the world of bitcoin mate,  where uncertainty is the surest thing to happen in you.
Going back to the question, I would say that it is very possible that bitcoin will reach zero. Even its creator have said already that in 20 years, bitcoin will either reach a billion or zero.
For now, what we do is to make it possible to have other investments not just in bitcoin.
245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Will be Zero on: March 21, 2018, 05:56:05 PM
There will be times that people will be hesitant to still invest in bitcoin but because of the continuous support in bitcoin, it is very useful for the families to have bitcoin. For this reason, I would disagree on this topic.
It is very rare that a cryptocurrency as known and popular will ave a rate of zero..
246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Keep calm, and take a coffee. A trader said... on: March 16, 2018, 02:49:31 AM
Never Borrow Money for going into market.

I am not in a panic and I am quite calm. BUT! I am worrying now, because I do not have more fiat to invest. Will the price drop even further? It is very risky to sell now and buy back, when it is impossible to know the bottom. So I feel kinda stupid to have bought for my last fiat yesterday before this drop. Should I borrow some fiat maybe or just HODL and stay calm until next month?

I like that "Never borrow money for going into market".
Unless the purpose for borrowing money is so feasible, it is fine for someone to borrow money as to have good network as well. But basically, when you are investing in a market that is volatile, it is highly suggested not to borrow because it might due some more problems.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you thinking about the future? on: March 16, 2018, 02:33:37 AM
I never think about that before, but i think there was a good idea, yeah i would to make an investment with bitcoin for my children future, thanks dude this was a great plan i think haha thanks dude  Cheesy

It is really a great plan. COnsidering the future is very important.
As for bitcoin, we have this thinking that it will last be still, anything may suddenly just change. We have to be prepared as well.
We don't really have to buy already for our children or future children. Better keep it for yourself for now then just transfer some bitcoin to your children when it is time already.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how i can start?? on: March 16, 2018, 02:26:38 AM
i am from Egypt which is a poor country with little income. can't buy bitcoins or even start by investing or trading or joining signature compaigns.
so how can i win free Satoshis BTCand begin my way in crypto currencies??
can any body help me how to start Huh?
thanks Smiley

I am sorry to know that brother. it is really difficult to start without having any money to invest. but there are always ways if we really want to do something. Maybe for now, you may not be able to invest for bitcoin but you may still try to look for other ways. Like if there is a work there that uses bitcoin as salary. Or you can also try to save little by little then invest when price gets down again.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: March 16, 2018, 02:17:44 AM
Trading and gambling are similar in that they both attempt to create a capital gain, over a relatively short period of time, without creating new wealth. If I am a shoemaker, then my efforts create a pair of shoes that someone else can wear (new wealth), while I earn an income from cobbling. When I am a trader or gambler, I may earn an income, but there is no additional wealth created.

Why do you say that it is similar? We all know that it is not similar at all. By using the same logic, you could probably say that there is no need for us to work anymore as we could gamble? Trading is a full time job for somebody and they are definitely not messing around with it, if it is a gambling then it doesnt have to be a considered a job
Trading is a sort of gambling it is also lowered risk compared to gambling. Yeah, I agreed with that trading is having similarities to the gambling because putting money to invest is just like gambling you didn't know what will happen next.
Is trading a job? and my answer is no that not a kind of a job it is a small version of gambling.

If trading is some sort of gambling then you should just buy whatever it is on the market and pray that it will be up in the future but no trading doesnt work like that. We need to make some sort of technical and fundamental analysis to make sure we are executing the right order rather than buy whatever and pretend it is 100 % gamble

Well at some point, I still believe that trading have some sort of the characteristics of gambling. Why?
Because trading also depends on the decision of people involved and the things being traded. Just like gambling, we are not sure of how will the trade go.
250  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as your main income? on: March 16, 2018, 02:08:13 AM
Bitcoin is a currency. Bitcoin is a solution to many problems. Bitcoin is bringing questions and new problems to this world.
Some people find this as a ride to boost your income, not specifically Bitcoin but also the whole crypto market.
I think it's a great thing! But what are you actually looking for? Bitcoin itself (the currency) might not be your solution.
If you want to "conquer" the world, you can't do it with Bitcoin. Like you can't conquer the world with the dollar itself.
You need to focus the technology. The blockchain along with it, bringing a new economy generation with freedom and decentralization.
It's something that should be written a new bible about in my opinion. Before you learn Bitcoin, learn economy. Once you master this skill, own Bitcoin as one of your cards.

I would like to hear some of your opinions and hear some smart words because I believe people think investing Bitcoin will make their life done financially but I honestly think it's not true.

Bitcoin is a way to escape from financial crisis if only someone who has it will really work thoroughly on it.
But we cannot conform to one source of income alone. We also need to add more other than bitcoin. Bitcoin can bring profit but not a regular one. It is like business. It will only be beneficial if we will focus on it.
251  Economy / Economics / Re: Beliefs about money and wealth on: March 15, 2018, 11:31:06 PM
Everyones hasn diferent beliefs about money and wealth. See for example 35 different ways of thinking about it here:
https://daringtolivefully.com/powerful-beliefs-about-money

One famous author, not my favourite, yet an influential one is Robert Kyosaki. In his book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", he examines two different beliefs and states that those believes will shape your success.

What of these do you agree with? What other beliefs do you have about money?

1 - Millionaires are greedy, that is why they become millionaires.
2 - Company managers just want to use the workers to make themselves rich and others poor.
3 - Having money is a question of luck, if not of "gods grace".
4 - Debt is always bad.
5 - To make money, you just need to have a great idea nobody thought off.
6 - Cryptos are the way to make money and be successful without having to put effort into it.
7 - To become rich I just have to believe in Bitcoin because many people have become rich doing that.
8 - To become rich I just have to be more clever and streetwise than everyone around to get my share of the cake.

Your turn to think ...

(EDIT: These are NOT my beliefs, at least not necessarily, is just a list to think. Is not the list by Robert K. either.)

I dont see any wrong statement here. At the end of the day, it will be us who will decide whether those are applicable to our lives or not.
Best thing about this is that he sees the importance and essence of cryptocurrency.
I am a reader of his writings and I must say that he is a loyal bitcoin holder
252  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happened to bitcoins after one died? on: March 15, 2018, 11:16:47 PM
Very simple: if you don't let somewhere your data access, your bitcoin will be lost forever.
(it seem that about 20% of bitcoin are unavailable, due to private key lost and death)

It should  be  someone not somewhere I think.
We have to choose carefully the best people to entrust our bitcoin. It is similar to all seen and concrete assets we have here on earth while living that has to have last will and testament so there is legal manner in passing over an asset or wealth. With this, the password and all other information required to continuously use bitcoin has to be transferred.
253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading actually worth it? on: March 15, 2018, 05:49:32 PM
So yeah i'm just wondering whether can you make serious money with trading or is it more than not just gambling?

Are "pro traders" making millions, or are they barely getting by and need to sell their signals and such?

Not in a bull market anymore so i'm looking at trading as a way to make money, but not sure whether it actually works. Note i'm not complete newbie, but i was never really trading.

I think trading is very profitable for those who can understand the market conditions and can already find the right buy and sell point because if the trading can not master the science it will be difficult to profit from trading.

Agree. If we don't understand how trading works, even if we have lots of things or coins to trade off, everything will fall into loss.
The benefit of being a trader is that, it is one of the main source of income of a family. This trade wouldn't exist in this thread if it is not worthy to receive that.
254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you encourage friends and family to invest in crypto? on: March 15, 2018, 05:38:57 PM
Of course I do, it is one way to help them out from our previous lifestyle.
We are accountable to the safety and success of the members of our family as well as our friends. If we know they deserve to be learned about crypto investment, then they should also have to initiative to learn.
255  Economy / Economics / Re: Weak Hands lose money, strong hands makes profits in this game! on: March 15, 2018, 05:07:17 PM
I would have to compare the hands into the personality of a person. If we have weak personality, it is not impossible to lose money. For sure, with the weak personality we have, we will be shy and timid to grab opportunities that surrounds us. While if we are strong in personality, we are sure to have more profit. More opportunities to earn and gain. Because having strong personality is one way to have power and have impact.
256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: March 09, 2018, 01:44:25 AM
It is very difficult to handle loss but we are living in reality and we can never escape those kind of scenarios in trading. Bitcoin is so volatile that we can not control. Sometimes, it happens that we have losses. In this case, we have to be emotionally strong. We are talking about loss either big loss or small loss. As long as it is loss. Just learn to be patient and be positive always.
Learn from our previous mistakes.
257  Economy / Economics / Re: do you really like crypto coin? on: March 09, 2018, 01:17:46 AM
Of course I do! I will not waste my time reading about cryptocurrencies, studying about it and doing such things to learn about it if I don't. Most especially, I will never invest money for it if I dont like it. I dont know what made you ask if we really like crypto because it is quite ridiculous.
If we love or like what we are doing, we will never get bothered or what. We will enjoy trading and everything that is necessary to do for it. We will have patience for it.
258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Have Any Fear Bitcoin Might Crash Someday. on: March 09, 2018, 01:06:33 AM
I have no fear in that may happened to Bitcoin. What I really see and read about the bitcoin, its very powerful and stable and no other could stop it.

Yes bitcoin is powerful but somehow it is not stable. There is no cryptocurrency that will be stable ever. Even the cash inflates its value.  For now, we just have to enjoy what bitcoin offers to us, traders. But we can never deny the fact that it is very possible to crash someday and we have to prepare for it! Let us be prepared for it.
259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: March 09, 2018, 12:26:55 AM
Of course newbies have to!
They will never get out from the title of being a newbie unless they try to trade real time. More experience will bring them to another level as bitcoin holder. If they dont try, they will remain as newbie for the rest of the time. Just trade little by little. Don't trade with big amount already.Be wise enough while trading.
260  Economy / Speculation / Re: do you think bitcoin will go back to 6000? should i sell now? on: March 08, 2018, 11:57:24 PM
Your question can't be answered with simple yes or no. There is always possibility for Bitcoin price to dump, even to 6000$ but no one can't tell for sure whether this will happen or when.
I suggest not to sell, especialy if you have bought the coins. You don't have to face the loss if you wait long enough. Patience is one of the most important characteristics of Bitcoin users.

I agree with what has been said.
We can never tell the next price of bitcoin and it is risky to either sell it now or wait for more. Well in this case, you have to know first if you will earn if you will are really decided to sell at 6k. But I believe that bitcoin is yet to arise and I am more excited to sell later when that happens.
