We should ask our self, are we really ready to hold for long term? Are we aware of the consequence of holding in long run, do we have enough fund for some of our expenses. Be ready emotionally and of course financially and remember that long term doesn't mean, months, it is a year or more, so we must really be careful and know what we are doing.

I agree with you but these days anything can be found on the internet. There are already many websites which explains bitcoin, it's functionality, it's use cases, possible scams etc..
It's just a matter of minutes and all the information is in front of you. But there are many who do not bother to research before investing their money on anything.
People only lose their money if they don't pay attention to what they are doing.

Ethereum is no doubt the best altcoin and second best cryptocurrency after Bitcoin. There is a saying that "never put all your eggs in one basket". There are few other good altcoin also (litecoin, monero etc) try to invest in them also and have a diverse portfolio rather then having a portfolio of just one altcoin.
For the top 2 cryptocurrencies, they are both deserving and worth it to be invest at as they do have the potential among others, so I won't disagree with the OP, for a couple of years, they were my favorites and will be my favorite of all time, so we should not worry about it as these upcoming years, for sure that their name will continue to develop and grow. to get profits by investing, the top crypto does have the potential to be profitable but it still needs research so that the investments made really give good results, when holding and also selling it. and I personally believe in investing in top crypto because they have better potential |

I think the next wave of good bounty campaigns will come when security tokens are already allowed and regulated by most major crypto countries. The time of the ICO is over because it is such a gray area for funding to begin with.

This is happening throughout the last two years, without any sign of improvement. Just be patient and wait of ETH 2.0 update, because as for me it is the only hope for altcoins to raise from ashes and to decrease BTC dominance for a bit.

Have you tried mining any coin these days..? Its not that easy to make profit these days. Also, if you are trying to mine altcoins then the market fluctuations will make it worse. Staking is also hard as there are lots of things to consider and manage. But easier than mining a coin.
