241  Economy / Economics / Re: Ok. Number of Bitcoin transaction increased double. Expect price increasing? on: January 16, 2020, 07:07:23 AM
Likely these are people that don't have a large stockpile hoarded yet and trying to get more in before the halving. Or who knows, maybe whales are slowly driving up the price now to magnify the effect of any increased demand close to halving.

Whichever the reason, just stick to a plan and you wouldn't be disappointed.
May be? I agree with this man, considering the idea that halving is just there close enough that is why people are buying now to have some stock plus the market is close to support level, or may be it is from the tension between two countries (which I supposed, not really the cause). Either way there are more factors to be considered, but these are just imo could be possible factors.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we overcome our gambling addiction! on: January 16, 2020, 03:24:09 AM
I am not certain if this is effective to other but it seems working totally fine in me. When I feel that I am turning into a mess I used to switch phase by reading a book. Well it was my hobby first, and it sounds weird though anyway I love reading books that is why I try to do my hobby to overcome such potential addiction. I am not saying that they need to read books as well, what I mean to say is that they might be needing to switch phase to where they find things enjoying such as their hobby or whatever it is.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin over Bluetooth? on: January 15, 2020, 03:07:16 PM
Do you think something like this is possible these days? If so, how can I do this with my mobile device? Any recommendations or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance Smiley

Possible I think, and it may be a little thing for those honorable persons to develop it. The thing is that bluetooth doesn't have a wide range span of accessibility thus, it would be good for around of people that bluetooth can reach. However, transactions usually happened across the globe so, may be developing bluetooth features isn't as much as necessary, imo for now.
244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: January 15, 2020, 01:57:53 PM
I had a bitcoin but withdrew like a month and half ago on coinbase to pay some college loans especially since the value kept dropping.  Obviously not the case now, I have $4,000 in the bank, what can I do now to make the best of bitcoin or can you give me strategies as it starts rising again?

Man, it is not a good choice investing now comparing it from the previous price that bitcoin had last week. I couldn't even say yet that bitcoin might go increase for the next days. However if you had that 4k USD left as a spare money, may be you could deal with a half of it for investing the thing is choosing the right time. If you could still wait, then you may 'cause we ain't when will it go down and go up either.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote Bitcoin..... It is for "us" on: January 15, 2020, 09:17:14 AM
It was totally devastating knowing that the thing you spend thinking that at such time it isn't worth beyond your thinking then later on it would be even cost a brand new house. Well, such act by that man was purely sincerity of promoting bitcoin to another level. So as much as I want to feel sorry for him I didn't instead the sense of being proud overcome the regret. So, we don't need to let this opportunity be just for us, let.
246  Economy / Speculation / Re: OMG, BitCoin is spiking !!! What is causing this ??? on: January 15, 2020, 05:37:52 AM
A big change in price can usually be traced to some event,
I was thinking same thing in past. I learned that its not.
You can't predict event that will and when affect the price and how much it could affect it.
I mean even halvening you can't clearly say when and how and thats most known 99% sure knowledge about price/value of bitcoin increase.

Just relax, in years you won't be excited so much about minor price movements, even bigger ones won't affect you that much Smiley.

I agree. Though seems unreal for such circumstances to trigger but those significant changes doesn't always imply by particular events. Because I don't see anything either, halvening is yet to come. Potential war was few days ago and the tension seems lessening. So, take the idea of this man. Chill 'cause sooner there are more bigger changes than this.
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin touch 9k USD next month? on: January 15, 2020, 03:30:31 AM
As I predicted bitcoin going to touch 10k soon by this year.
many suggested it can't be,
many suggested it will go down again.
but recently bitcoin has grown up from 7k to today 8.6k.
Now I am prediciting bitcoin price by next month or end of this month will touch 9k.
whats you guys say?

Man, we got increased by +8.83% in the last 1 week. We might be able to touch 9k sooner though it is uncertain yet it is that close. Just a few pumps and then we will be there, may be we don't even have to wait for the next month 'cause by anytime it could somewhere else in 9k. Let us just hope for such positivity then.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 14, 2020, 03:58:08 PM
Do you think the situation has changed in the year 2020?  Huh
It is almost impossible to oppose manipulation in the current market conditions. We need a little more development in terms of value and regulation. Recently the main problems are related to the increase of fraudsters, the failure of new projects and the altcoin season.
Yes, sometimes manipulation needs to be there especially in times of uncertainty. One example is you, losing the interest over time, so might as well show you some a bit of pump to restore your interest in altcoins. However, problems like frauds ain't going to easily eradicate thus, regulations exist, beside from the fact that the government don't wanna let crypto to take over something else.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End to the Craig Wright FUD in less than a month - 3rd Feb 2020 on: January 14, 2020, 03:20:28 PM
No more Craigh Wright topic after February 3? May be, no. He is full of himself he ain't going to admit he is no Satoshi once proven he's not. He will be making another bunch of claims after that, insisting he's the real one. I feel it. And besides we ain't going to stop from pulling him down either. We better look forward and move on away with this man.
250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: US-Iran conflict is the answer on: January 14, 2020, 01:19:41 PM
A conflict could not be always the result of demand. And could not always be told that the demand was the result. It may be such, but the demand and the recant pump looks like just any other manipulation in the market. Iranians aren't buying Bitcoin, their internet is censored, and its just another FOMO scheme pumping the price up, but we have no idea when it's gonna go to a reversal.

It just tend to be a coincidence when the price change. Besides we don't have to wait for some events that no one even wants to happen for the market to change. There are various factors we should be considering not only this major event just because it is the most obvious one. Because it might be a manipulation like the man stated above just did the same time as the tension happens.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: free advertising for btc? on: January 13, 2020, 07:16:11 PM
Trump has tweeted something regarding Bitcoin already and that is free advertising already even though it's impact is negative, at least some of his followers have an idea of what Bitcoin is. Anyway, broadcasting it on a national TV is considered good since many are watching every day. More and more people will be curious about it and try to do some research on it.

This is a good advertisement of Bitcoin but I hope that it will be a successful one.

But let us just hope that must not take the information for granted. It is already a big opportunity though waiting for them to pick up.

-snip-
-snip-

I generally like it when bitcoin gets coverage because it's in a bull market, as in 2013 and 2017 and not because it can be used for criminal activities.  That's a bit unfair IMO, since fiat gets used way more for the same stuff and yet a lot of people don't think too hard about what they're hearing on the news.  Not all media reporting on bitcoin is good, and I wouldn't consider every mention of it to be "free advertising" by any means.
Talking about criminal activities, I just remembered back then when I first encountered the term Bitcoin. I was browsing facebook, scrolling down my feed and then have read about Deep Web stuff having this kind of unlawful activities, and would be paid using only Bitcoin as their medium.

As for being non-crypto enthusiast back then, I just got a bad impression to bitcoin, I was afraid to take an initiation when a friend of mine introduced to crypto space 'cause of having bad impression to Bitcoin itself. So it just proves that when bitcoin be advertised in not a good way will leave bad impression to audiences that will lead to an avoidance.
252  Economy / Economics / Re: Iran/US tension's effect on crypto and economy ? on: January 13, 2020, 06:04:43 PM
The recent Iran-US war like situation has already pumped up the oil prices and it has shown an postive effect for crypto and bitcoin as of now but how will this affect the national economy of other countries if a war breaks out?  Who will suffer most and where will this lead our economy as wars always leads to inflation.

Third world countries who might be entering this potential war. If war were still going to break out, and price at significant producer were going to spike it up countries who are barely make to buy are the ones who are going to suffer more especially those who are in a heavy loans. In addition to this, crypto currency will surely be skyrocketting especially in their local exchange as the tension goes on. And it alreay happened at Iran, right?
253  Economy / Economics / Re: Investments with Compound interest. on: January 13, 2020, 03:54:17 PM
Though investment with compound interest is a great thing, unfortunately it doesn't work that way here in crypto currency. You may be a new one but you have to deal with this risk if you wanna gain big though the income here ain't sure, and time taking but once the price spike up surely the profit you'll get here won't just be x2 but more than from it. Or in addition mate, try to minimize your investment, invest in crypto while finding a system with compound interest.
254  Economy / Economics / Re: World Economy and war situation and crypto on: January 13, 2020, 03:07:48 PM
Well it seems war isn't going to what we think it would be. Both sides are calming down. Economy especially in Iran since they aren't as powerful as US in terms of economic growth that is why people are in a bit of panic unlike the American, and I don't even know if they really care at all. So if this thing might still started it would have a bit of an effect in crypto currency market especially to those crypto enthusiast in particular countries, might a hook up in price but anything else like shutting this space down won't be happening.
255  Economy / Economics / Re: What is safe asset? And If USA dollar weakining what is Next Fiat? on: January 12, 2020, 03:42:36 PM
snip
I believe it is Chinese Yuan the next currency to use when USD gets weakening. Even now with war and other problems the economy of USA is greatly affected. In recent statistics it is China which is gonna take the position of USA soon. If such scenario takes place there'll be war, and by then everything that is digitally invested will gain importance.

Man, am I getting old already? I am used to USD and I am used to look at US as a most dominant and powerful country but now I must say I need re-evaluate such thoughts. China has been growing a lot lately. That is why I agree with you, it may came later that CNY must be the next currency to use.
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ before a big rise ? on: January 12, 2020, 01:46:03 PM
Why are many online price forecasts saying BTC will dip to $5k before the halving?
Do you predict the same too?
I'm not a pro trader, just asking out of curiosity

Then what's their basis? Or may be that is totally a pure opinionated claim though. Nothing to get about it, besides btc is still holding strong at 8k, and I do belive that this will last long like what it did at 7k mark from the past few weeks. Anyway, still a long way to go before the halving we aren't sure and no one knows where the market will fall before halving.
257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin have a price increase before the halving like we saw in 2016? on: January 12, 2020, 09:19:17 AM
In 2016 the halving was early July.  Depending on the exchange, the price was as follows:

May 1, 2016 $453
June 1, 2016 $536
July 1, 2016 just before the halving $677

The price increased about 50% from May 1 to July 1 just before the halving event.

Should we expect something similar this time?

Quite tough to consider especially when there's no reason behind for such price increase to happen. Besides such huge increase in the time span of 3 months was big however with bitcoin price right now I don't think it would happen the same way as the price of btc right now were farther away than 2016's. We could expect similar but not the same ratio it increased.
258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will Bitcoin cost this year? on: January 12, 2020, 07:48:45 AM
Last year, the price of bitcoin had dropped drastically. If the price of Bitcoin rises to 20,000 by the end of this year, the price of Altcoin will rise as well. In countries where crypto currencies are banned, the price of bitcoin may still be very high if the currency goes down this year.

They already answered, no one knows where the price will land at the end of this year. The thing that is sure is that in the incoming halving it would have a significant effect however we ain't certain yet if it would be hooking up the market or would drag down. I am not quite sure in such countries where bitcoin is banned, but I do think they will got the same market price.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it worth analyzing Bitcoin price chart? Well... Bitcoin will increase on: January 10, 2020, 06:37:52 PM

Yeah. As i said in the subject, is it really worth it?

I mean is it really worth learning how to read its chart?

Having no clue at all is the worst thing you could do. Decisions made with just an assumption without any form of analysis will lead you to the unfortunate cases. You have to be at least aware of chart prior to dealing up with a certain decisions, so yes, it matters it may sound so tiring, and complicated but it plays a vital role to avoid further loss.
260  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now that we touched $8,000, what's next? on: January 10, 2020, 05:43:53 PM
Bitcoin is having a small run, we just touched at $8000 as per Binance record, its 24 hours high is $8000.

https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT

What do you guys think that will happen next? is this the bull run we are long waiting?

Isn't it too early? Well, we cannot yet declared when bullrun would happened but isn't it yet too early for it to start? I mean we ain't yet reaching halving stage, and we don't have any major news out there besides the battle between Iran and America. Well, this might be an indirect effect of such controversy or what else might be, may be a manipulation of Whales.
