Calm down guys ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Come on, it's Friday ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Yes, the orders from the site are officially open. I've opened another thread with this, but it was 3 am last night and i have't had time to copy the news here too. Anyway, here it is: >>---------------------------------------->> Hello everyone, I'm creating this thread to announce the GoLive of my website, www.AlphaHPC.com. The site was created in an effort to make ordering Avalon Chips and Klondike / Avalon miners easy. Also, it's a good way to keep everyone updated though the newsletter (don't forget to sign up). I've already finished a batch of 10k Avalon chips and have opened anpother one. I'm using John K.'s escrow service to hold the funds for the Avalon chips. SO! What do we have now? --> - Website working - Payment gateway working - Ordering / notifications / customer communication working - Automatic status change based on payment (after n confirmations) - Newsletter for major updates - Blog for minor updates - Hope you like the visuals About the Hardware: - Klondike16 prototype, barebone PCB ordered (lead time is about 2 weeks) - A good, firm price offer from the factory for 100 pieces of K16. Tomorrow i'll ask for a price on 1000 pieces. I bet we can shrink the miner prices that way. - Place and manpower to setup the hosting service for the persons interested in this. The hosting fee will be 10% and will cover everything, meaning no additional fees above that. What we don't have: some clarification on the main Avalon reference boards. Some parts don't have parameters. Help is on it's way, so we need a few more days to sort the bill of materials out and then we can ask for a quotation on the main Avalon boards also. That being said, i'm opening the order window for the Klondike boards. Go to www.AlphaHPC.com, create an account and configure yourself a miner. - The Avalon chips ordered from the site will be part of the Group-Buy already open here. Hopefully it will fill up faster. - The Klondike boards and all necessary parts will be ordered after we (and BkkCoins) have successfully tested a prototype Klondike miner with the sample chips from Avalon. If there is demand for 1000 Klondike boards, i will have a stunning street price for them, if not, the price for each board will stay at around 0.7 - 0.85 BTC. For everything else i have forgotten in this topic, please ask. My main contact e-mail address is contact@alphahpc.com. www.AlphaHPC.com>>---------------------------------------->>

BFL don't make chips as far as i know. So what are you looking to buy from them? Hm.. i see post now. interesting to start selling chips before selling complete products on wait since june last year. i wouldnt trust them for a dime.
They do make devices and they have shipped too. Unfortunately they move with the speed of a snail on NOS. Noone trusts them and hell i wouldn't trust them even to hold my beer for a sec. I have thrown out $800 already and now waiting for a device to be shipped on the "40th of April"... Anyway, good luck with the GB. If anything moves, maybe i'll jump in, but not now.

looks good but the price for GH/s is same as Jalapeno. Will hardly make Roi in late september...
Yeah but how is he going to get the chips any faster? these where ordered from Avalon a few weeks back so it's going to be August for the chips and assembly then shipping in September, pretty cheap if you ask me compared to other asic manufacturers. That said anything coming in September will struggle to make a good ROI. True. Thanks for that th3joker. Also, i would rather struggle with Avalon chips and ROI than open a group-buy for BFL chips or make PCB for them.. Ask yourself this: is it too good to be true (avalon chips + pcb @ ~2.1 BTC)?? No. Is BFL too good to be true? Hell Yes! When is my March order going to be delivered BFL? Only God knows when.. Have i thrown out $814 on the window? Hell Yes! That's about it..

Very interested. Need to do a little more research, but John K escrow seals the deal really. I'll order some either tonight or the weekend.
Bit worried about not hitting the order target though :-/
STOP WORRYING, PEOPLE ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) START ATTRACTING GOOD THINGS BY THINKING POSITIVE. If you worry and are afraid, shit WILL happen, because you attract it. General Law of Attraction.

My order will be: 1.Number of chips: 160 x .083 = 13.28 BTC 2.Fully assembled, tested, ready for use Klondike16, 16 chip miner: 10 x 85 = 850 Eur Is this OK ?
Questions: 1.Approximate date of delivery 2.Date to pay for miners 3.Since I'm from Serbia could I personally take the product to eliminate the problems with customs (in which town in Romania).
P.S. I want to buy only fully assembled, tested and ready for use units
Hi, Yes, your calculations are ok, but consider sending only BTC, no fiat money. A PCB costs 0.85 BTC (quantities in 50 and 100 have reduced costs - more offers coming in the separate thread) 1. Approximate date of delivery is the beginning of September (+- 1 week) 2. Date to pay for miners: you can do it now. At least for the chips, you can pay in the escrow address given in the first post. For the miners, you can send payment to the cold address 1FhKsXT3M1kyhfiUg3iXnf4VGubt13awPx. Please find the address, if you wish. I already have some (17) BTC in the address, because someone already ordered PCBs from me. 3. Yes, you could personally pick-up the miners. I'm from Cluj Napoca. I'll give you exact address and phone number via PM a bit later. Best regards, Steve

Ok, F*** this. I should've kept my price. Now i give up my incentive AGAIN and lower the chip costs at 0.081 BTC. All buyers will be refunded the extra amount paid for the chips. I have a nice little excel, so i will accurately calculate each person's refund amount. Also, the funds for the Klondike boards are OPEN! I'll make another thread about it, specifying exact details what-how-when-etc.

yeah i really thought we would manage a second batch already
Yes.. unfortunately i can lower the price to 0.081 but it wouldn't solve much. All i can do is get my little proto PCBs ready in 2-3 weeks, so i'll have living proof that i make boards. Who's good with schematic design and debugging stuff? I need a bit of help with the Avalon components and managing to fill some missing parameters, like resistor specs. PM me, please. Thanks

Doesn't look like we will be hitting that 10k mark before the 4 day counter expires ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif) Well... i wish i could do more. I'm launching my website, that would help a bit more (hopefully) Regards, Steve Do we know what Plan-B is? FFMG Plan B is to ask around for people owning other GBs, if they would like to have the rest of the chips until the 10k limit.

Your place is only worth something if you have already paid. The order you'll get your unit is determined by when you send them money - so... if you have not paid, then a number from a contact form doesn't have much value. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Hi, Actually this is NOT true We will open up the order books soon and give everyone a chance to pay for their preorder (7 days), We will then ship them based on the preorder registration number, not when the order was paid for as long as the order is paid for within the 7 days we will honor the queue placement. if you pay on day 8 you will simply enter the queue from the back I hope this helps if you do sell your order number all I will need is an email from both parties and I will do the rest, they will get your queue placement. it can’t however be for more than your registered amount of boxes and we will not split preorders into multiplies Sam@kncminer.comSo if somebody that preordered a few units but never intends to buy your merchandise will be able to sell his preorders. And a actual customer who who is willing to pay and has the money will have to wait in line. Great way to do business , even better than BFL. I was enthusiastic about KnCminer products, but you are doing your best to piss us off. First VAT not this , whats next ? We will be able to pickup orders only from the Moon ? Lol ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) )) bine zis, Zubilica ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ) i like the Moon idea here.. First, i Do Not defend KnC in any way! BUT: i know for sure, that you need preorder money to make things happen. Of course, you should see progress, real transparency and results within 2 months after paying (unlike with these BFL guys). I will be making the Klondike16 boards and the Avalon 80 chip boards (clones) here in romania and i Know For Sure that nobody is going to do jack for you without at least half of the costs paid upfront. In my case, this will easily turn into quite a few thousand euros, just to start moving things around the factory.. So i think preorder is good for business, but you don't ever play with people's money!

Looking good, i will have to agree with your aquafresh comment on the logo though ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . I see how to order Chips only and Chips and boards, but how do you order boards for chips that have already been ordered through the group buy? You can order boards by selecting the other products. Find the "1 x Klondike16 Board + Assembly (4.5 GH/s) (Beta testing only)" for example. Regards, Steve

I like the fact that all the miners on your beta website are marked down to "free" :-) I'll take a few hundred K16s, then! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Funny :-D That's for testing purposes. You can test it end-to-end this way. Feel free to order ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ...and pay the 0 btc ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Multumesc.
Fiecare placa are portul lui usb
