If you're trying to mine on your main computer, (computer you need to use for other things) yea it's probably not worth it anymore. I have a server with an AMD regor dual core, SSD, and a cheap video card. For whatever reason, it has found me 8 blocks since primecoin release. I was mining on my main computer, which has a phenom x6 1055t (@ 3.9ghz), and I only got 1 block over the same period. I have since ceased mining on it because I need it for other things.
The Regor computer is hooked up to my router via ethernet cable, my phenom via wireless. I'm wondering if ping has something to do with it.
Anyways, at this stage the hordes of rented cloud computing instances are probably vacuuming up all the blocks. This doesn't mean you won't find a block, it's just less likely. The latest block I found was with my server, about 2 hours ago. So it's still possible.

The hashing power tripled in the space of a few seconds about 5 minutes ago. If that's one person/operation, are we looking at a fork?
its 0.06 now thats more then emerald atm i think
Not a good baseline to measure by.
Might also add that the network hashing power just tripled in a few seconds...
diff will rise. so no problem
Yes, the difficulty always rises when hashing power increases, but it should have been set higher to begin with.
Orphaned Chocobos found = 27 Gil found = 0
Read op. Block reward is 0, until block 1000 Aye, the block reward is 0, but it will likely be an orphanfest well past 1000 when the rewards start because the difficulty was set too low.
Not surprisingly, with the difficulty set so low this is a massive orphan fest. I mean, don't get me wrong, I really didn't expect much else from the get-go. Just stating facts.

What are the features of the coin? If it's just another scrypt clone I don't see the point.

[...] Finally, if anyone has constructive criticism, creative ideas or other ways to benefit CGB (or crypto-currencies in general), [...]
Some simple advices that really would benefit to your coin : - Remove the crap about cryogenic storage. If the idea is to go undercover / low diff for some time, no problem ... but don't use a name that will make you feel sorry and will make it difficult to finally bring the coin back to lite. Gemcoin did a much better job at that (but still went to exchange much too soon) ^^ - Give the damn full specs ! The target block time, the interest rate for PoS and the various threshold for the PoS are a bare minimal among the lacking one ! (don't say "the same as NVC" or it would be interpreted as "he just copied the code and don't even know what he copied") You can tip me for those useful advices at 5hzVJ62MCnp4CvE5pLdg1f6WgDwEoxQHht :p What ever happened to free advice?

not trying to offend, so please don't take it that way, but these are going for around $30-50 on ebay.

Also, the withdraw PXC button doesn't work. There's no place to input a PXC withdraw address.
goto settings... Thanks.
