Its pretty safe wallet but the only problem is ,its a website wallet, means very prone to phishing. If you are not vigilant enough to check the website before login then you may easily login to a phishing site and all your assets inside will gone. So, to make it safer, add the MEW website to your bookmark in the browser. Another very important is do not click any links in your email from scammers pretending that they are from MEW team asked you to click the link for the update or else all your coins inside, dont believe that because , ever-since, the MEW support team never ever send a message in email with the link of the MEW website.

But I think, bitcoin will hit an another ATH after this bloodbath, like what happened last year. This situation always repeated in the bitcoin market. I think it will start bullish again after chinese new year or in march.
Many are predicting that after the big dip there would be a bull run. And it seems to be happening right now as we heading towards the end of February. Albeit slow, Bitcoin is now heading upwards and maybe or hopefully it can reach the $15,000 level before the end of the first quarter 2018. Right now, we are hearing less FUDs and fake news so this can be a contributing factor for the rise. We just have to continue on having faith on Bitcoin and we are supposed to be the disruptor and not the disrupted whenever it is not going up. I'm not so sure I would call it a bull run if anything this is a snail walk, since it is very slow, but at least the price is recovering and we are not losing any more money, now 15k by the end of the first quarter will be great and it is looking like a likely possibility but I do not know how long this recovery will last since it is clear to me bitcoin will keep being attacked for a long time by investors wanting to reduce its price so they can get in for an even cheaper price. You're right. The situation always repeated in the bitcoin market as we can see the movement of the graph. The only difference are bloodbath period and the recovering period of the price. But today the bitcoin price is recovering slower than previous.

Personally I don't join Twitter bounties if: 1) there are too few followers on twitter page 2) there are too few tweets on twitter page 3) The bounty thread page is not made "good looking"... Then I check every week if everything is ok... otherwise I leave...
Copy that sir. I will follow your advice, I think through this we can determine wether the project is legitimate or not. Also we need to check their website if it looks very professional in terms of the english grammar, graphics and the lists of the devs.

I think it is very difficult to avoid this. We must take risks when participating in bounty hunting campaigns. They stole our efforts.
Indeed. Its very difficult to avoid. In my own opinion , the only way to avoid it is to stick to those bounty managers who has a good track here and of course research every project before we enter the bounty campaign.

Why the spreadsheet in the site is not updated? Hope you will update it so that we can know how much stakes we earned. I participated this bounty campaign for 5 weeks but no update in the spreadsheet until now.

Hi every one. I just wanna ask if , is there any ways to prevent or minimize the nonpaying bounty campaigns?
I joined a lots of bounty campaigns here on btt recently but I have encountered many bounty campaigns never paid the bounty hunters at the end of the campaign period. Not to mention these projects but some of them are now scam, but many of them are now very successful after the campaign, and they forgot their advertisers at the end bounty campaign to pay. As a bounty hunter like me , its very important. Its really pain when you are advertising an ICO for month/months but in the end you got nothing. As of now, I only joined a bounty campaign which handled by bounty manager with good record here.
Dont join any bounty to avoid those not paying you! Well bounty is a risk too, you are not spending any amount and just to invest time and effort, after those we are not sure if the ICO will pay us (hunters) as long as their payment not on our wallet we are always not 100% sure about them paying us. You are good to stick with those bounty managers who have good records, i am doing the same too. I think this is the only way to avoid scam bounty campaigns. Joining a bounty campaign is like investing the ICO but we only invest with effort. I felt the same like scammed when I cant receive any payment after the bounty period from them lol .

One more thing, It depends on how much income you gained tru bitcoin. In case you gained huge profit then you can diversify physical assets or invest new non crypto related business then you can easily quit your job and become a boss on your new business !
|
|
|
I think it depends if you already gained more income or your just started in bitcoin. If you are just started in bitcoin then, you need that job for today for you to sustain your daily needs while investing in bitcoin and keeping it grow. Once your investments you think can be sustainable for your daily needs or family needs and can afford to buy your wants and needs, then, that will be the time to quit your job. It depends on your motivation in life.

Buy in dip and hodl for long term. For now , 8K$ is the ideal value to buy, and hodl until december this year , and expect 50K$ value . Its also up to you , when the value reach 20K$ then you can sell it and buy when dip again. THat is the cycle of bitcoin in the market.
