Qora on Coinmarketcap looks like a manual input, im not complaining but ideally it would move with the market. I guess it needs to be on decent exchange to show real time data.

Everyone is talking about betting sport but this cannot be decentralized. why not? it's basically an exchange with prices that determine the odds. house edge could be easily implemented, hardcoding of the results shouldn't be extremely difficult. or am i missing something? from where do you get 100% reliable and 100% true results without any trust issues. How does the software post the bets? How could this ever be automated? Take bets from a centralised site? Can be manipulated. I am 99% sure that sportsbetting can't be added.. Casino games on the other hand. Easy |

It seems Bitfinex has again worsened the P2P lending from lenders point of view. Now it does not matter if you specify e.g. 30 days lending period. If the borrower wants it for two days, he can just take it. Previously he at least had to cancel it. In this new system, for a lender the only chance to find a 30-day borrower, is to hit a 30-day bid. In that case, the lender loses at least the spread, often more.
An orderbook with different periods mixed is not a good solution. There should at least be a filtering feature. It would help borrowers and lenders alike.
Incorrect, it has always been this way. Maybe you have just been lucky and had loans taken out for the full time, but it's been like this for almost a year. yes. And not only that, but the days mean: For lenders: Maximum days the money can be lent. For borrowers: Minimum days the money must be lent. |

determined with this coin? Basically, how does the decentralised gambling actually work?
from a non-technical point of view it's actually very simple: people make a bet, putting in their desired stake and winning probability, the system determines if the gambler won or lost via new york lottery drawing and he or she gets his coins or loses them. if he wins new coins are created, if he loses his stake is destroyed, which levels out on a long-term time scale. So people are betting only on ny lottery drawings? Just wondering what some examples look like. I'm curious about this too. the lottery drawings are just an input for randomness. example: i choose 50% probability and i bet 100 cha. i win, i get 200 cha. (disregarding house edge). it's really not that complicated to understand (as a concept at least, i guess technically it's a very challenging thing to develop) can somebody elaborate on this? profit should be negative, right? or is this the house edge profit? It is from the viewpoint of the house. If you bet any amount the house stands to win the house edge on average. The house won more than expected currently |

No access, no update from Zip, I could not withdraw Qora, and apparently there was a huge dump on Sharecoin.  I think it's time to panic. That is exactly the reason why I don't trust not-established exchanges, and why I tought it was a mistake to launch qora there. |
