2401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: July 22, 2015, 12:05:05 PM
A good opportunity is also buying some new coins that are in the market, but is a high risk if their price fall down after their get popular
Every new coin is not good opportunity I done this mistake and pay heavy price before investment we need to check some stats about them

It is better to stay with bitcoin rather than experimenting with some new coins that are entering into the market. I think we should have patience and should give some time to bitcoin for the stability and as we have faith in bitcoin it would surely be more attractive and more valuable in future as the adoption level goes high.

Yes i think that a bitcoin is a good pillar, it is like a main cryptocurrency available at the moment.
All other coins are depended by bitcoin price, check the price of the other coins and you will see it's like they are synchronized with the bitcoin price. If bitcoin go up they go up, if bitcoin price goes down their price goes down too.
2402  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 22, 2015, 12:02:51 PM
ofcourse i chose gold

why ?
because bitcoin will bankrupt / smthing

and gold u can keep it until u die xD
no one investment is safe, not gold, bitcoin, property or etc. every investment have a risk and gold in this year drop -40%

No investment guarantees you the success. It is better to diversify the investments in different products. But for me I choose Gold over bitcoin as Gold have many satisfied customers who have invested in the past and have earned good profits too. So I would choose to invest in Gold rather then bitcoins.

To invest you must risk, we can see in history how often people lose by their investment or didnt get all the invest at the end

Risk will always follow when it comes to invetment. No investment is sure shot success. The luck factor is also important when it comes to an investment. And I think real estate is one field which is better then bitcoin or gold as the value keeps on increasing day by day and after 5 to 10 years your investment is almost doubled.

I have invested in many platforms what were cloud mining, i got some proffit at the beginning but at then end i was scammed.
So must be always careful when we choose to invest somewhere

I know that not every coin will be successful at their start, but try to experiment with them as much as you can.

Quoted, but try to make a signed message, this will prove more that this is your address, and ffor future references will be easier

Is there an actual benefit to signing a message as opposed to just posting your address? I don't see why someone would throw an address they don't own.

Well, if you cant sign a message in future then you will be get in trouble, maybe you cant sign that message?
So to be better is to sign a message as soon as possible

I mean, if you have a lot of capital, the amount of existential press diminishes, right? So you are fully entitled to sit in a meadow and meditate though the rest of your life. What else would you want to do?

I would open a spiritual newage healing clinic if I wanted to do something more.

There is a term in economics called the law of diminishing returns which is applicable to this situation.

The more money you have, the less you appreciate money. This is why one needs to find a way to always stay hungry.
Personally, I m the happiest when I move from point A to point B. Once I reach B, I must immediately set a new goal for myself.

Thanks, I can identify with this approach.

When you reach B then it is a next goal the point C. The human often is not happy with that what he reach/has
2407  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN BUYING AN ACCOUNT on: July 22, 2015, 11:55:10 AM
But what happen if the seller take back his account by proving the ownership of old address after sell the account to someone? Is it still possible right?

Please respond, I'm curious about this one.

No need to worry if the buyer have signed message from the seller when buying accounts, that would serve as proof of account transfer and he cant claim it back

Well when you buy an account you ask the seller to sign a message that that account is sold to you, and you must keep this message for future, so you are protected. - my opinion

its not just your opinion, i agree with it as well. by stating in the signed message that the account will be sold to you, the seller can no longer claim the account back as theirs using a signed message.

Quick question about signed messages: Now, from what I understand, for a signed message to be valid, it must have been fron an address associated to the account from a post or something at some point. If a person were to purchase an account, and then decide to resell it for whatever reason, how could he legitimately prove ownership without having access to an address that has been associated with the account for an extended period of time?

The buyer can't proof that he is the legitimate buyer except he got a signature from seller that says that the previous owner sold the account to him. The new owner should have posted a bitcoin address so that he can proof, with another signature, that he held the account since then.

When selling an account then the message should contain the date of sale, the account to be sold and the buyer who bought it.

I agree with you, a date should be included in the signed message, i dont know if we can verify when has been signed the message can we?

if a date is included in the signed message, that should be sufficient proof the message was signed on that day if the message can be verified as valid; the signature for the message wouldnt be valid if any part of the message or signature were to be changed.

Yes i know that, but i was wondering if we can verify when was that message signed if there is no date in the message.

I think blockchain is the most Popular wallet for newcomers and for old trendy guys , even i use blockchain wallet , the things is that its much easy to get one wallet and it even works on 25Kb/s internet speed.
I think blockchain wallet will be enchanced in future to beat new ones ,  Legends are Legends !

Personally i use coinbase, but since i have a good interenet connection i havent tested it yet in a slow connection if it is fine.
But would like the blockchain itself to be updated soon.
2409  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: July 22, 2015, 11:52:07 AM
Just join any signature campaign, you can earn a lot. My target is to get 0.4 BTC this week from mine signature. Hope I will find time for posting.

I have 0.2 BTC now. I think I can do it. If you want to stalk my earnings check here and enter my UID: 266213
Wish me luck Cool

How many posts for you need to reach 0.4 bitcoin?  Sounds like tons of work

I got this for 2 days of posting in my pool ( Grin ) so no work for me. My rate is 0.0013.. it's about 320 posts ( Just got this from my head, better use a calculator if you want it correctly ). I try to post constructive and quality posts so I can get higher rate, but it's really hard for me because I'm lazy.

Well you and everyone else who want to make some money should not be lazy. Get up and work Smiley - feeling motivated

It's hard for me because I'm not lazy to do constructive posts, or even 100 posts per day. But it's really hard to do long and still constructive posts. I hate and love my life at once. Thanks for motivating me! Cheesy

// So it's 307,69230769230769 posts for 0.4 BTC. Not that hard.

you're going to get banned trust me, your posts are too short, marco will not approve it, does not matter if they are still on topic, also he don't like member that spam too much, I was taken several times from but in the end he left me because my post aren't few word like your

also there are users that don't tolerate such thing they will report to mod

( We talked through PMs, so this is not for you. I'm just quoting last post to keep it clean, you don't need to answer me )

Check my post history, do you think it's constructive and long enough? I rushed first 0.25 BTC in the campaign and now I started posting serious long and ( I think ) helpful posts. What do you think about it? I got some people offering me 0.5 BTC / month for my signature space, so I can go and be with profit even when I'm banned, but I don't want to be banned, so.. Smiley

At the moment that i am writing you have 4 days and avg 60 posts per day. Which is pretty high but since it is high quality then it is good i think

This is pretty low. I thought it's higher, but it's just my start and I will do better. If you check my history now, you can see that posts are really good. Experienced member of the community ( Not Amph ) told me it's good enough to get higher rate if I continue to prefer quality rather than quantity. It's actually not that hard to post long and still constructive posts, just write what you have in your head and then edit the post if there's some shitty stuff. It takes more time but it's better for you. Good morning by the way Tongue

My opinion is as far as they are top quality (good and high quality posts) then you should be good,
i think it is better for the campaigns managers/owners to have such a good poster which promotes great their service/campaign

(forget gold supply is unlimited)

I have seen/read an article about bitcoin price and 62% of People Say Bitcoin Will End 2015 Below $500
Take a look at coindesk

Maybe it is not a lot but i have seen that i sold 100 XRA for 0.0001 btc which is pretty good but not much profit

WOW! How did you do it? XRA wasn't on 0.0001 BTC but on 0.000001 BTC, maybe someone bought by a mistake?
Or more likely you meant 0.000001 BTC. I hold high amount of XRA and I will sell at 200 satoshi ( Probably PUMP ).
It will be enough for me because it's already 2.5x profit. I bought really high amount of XRA, close to 1 million. But unfortunately, that's still nothing compared to other users with few millions of these coins. I hope you will be successful in trading.
I just check XRA not listed in cryptsy can you give me information about this which exchanges have this coin XRA listed I want to try this right now

I traded 100 XRA in YoBit, a new exchange i think, it has it's own signature here too. Take a look at services sector

Yes you are right i mistake when i typed lol. the total was 0.0001 BTC and for each XRA it was 0.000001 BTC
2413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: July 22, 2015, 11:45:21 AM
I tried telling how bitcoin works to some of my friends and family members. They seem to be amazed at how things work for bitcoin
Yeah good job, but they though that they will used it or not? i think its better if they used it, its another income and you don't need a big effort because you just need an internet connection.

At least to you people have "got" what they wanted by the first time, it's hard to understand the bitcoin for the first time you hear about it
Yes thats right, me too when i am newbie and i don't have any idea about bitcoin, its hard for me to understand if bitcoin is true or not, then i try it and use it . Then now i prove to my self that bitcoin is true and now its help me a lot.
I think the bitcoin itself does not need any help from us, we need the bitcoin, to trade to sell and buying it Wink
2414  Economy / Speculation / Re: Woooooo!!!! 308$ atm!!! on: July 21, 2015, 08:22:46 PM

I think it will reach again back to the days when bitcoin price was 200$.
Current price is dropping fast: $275

It won't reach $200 but will stop at $250 for 2-3 weeks. It's not crashing but don't know what's the reason of this drastic fall. I dint find a single website which explains the reason why bitcoin prices rise and fall.

Well i am curious too what is that that makes bitcoin price rise and fall. I just speculated that so it can happen maybe

Bitcoin market cap is small enough that whales can easily swing the prices up and down like yo-yo. They just need good excuses like Greece and China. They play on your fears and reap profit. Don't believe anyone who say that natural market forces are at work. If the natural market forces are responsible for the natural waves in bitcoin prices, how do you account for the past 18-months slide in spite of many good news and mainstream adoption? Whales love shorting bitcoins. It's a natural fit for them. For you, the small shrimps, you're nothing but food for them.

Of course whales can play with the price because the marketcap is tiny, the point is, if you aren't buying BTC this cheap you are insane in the membrane, insane in the brain. If you are here for the long term, then who fucking cares if you buy at 50, 100 or 300. If you are here for 10+ years as you should if you aren't a huge idiot, you'll see your massive gains and your hard work paying off at the end. Only a clueless moron that doesn't understand what Bitcoin means to the world would argue otherwise

Uh 10+ years without trading and just holding would be ridiculously stupid, take a look when the bitcoin price was 1200, you would be stupid not to sell then and it went from 1200 to 200 in basically a year, who knows what would happen in 10 years. Bitcoin is not even sustained by anything to ensure it will still be alive after such long time

it's very easy to talk after the thing happened, but you would have really sold, at that peak(1200)? i doubt it, many would have thought that the price was still rising above that amount, only internal manipulators would have sold there because they know about the top

Only if a billionaire invest so much money in bitcoin maybe he can change the price of it up to 1200$ as you say, but i really doubt it.
It is unreachable for me at least for this year.

Even if you are a billionaire you would still have to invest a lot of time to be able to make the price up to 1200$, probably not possible at the moment.

As for amph question, no i wouldnt sell and i didnt sell when it was at 1200 but i did sell some coins when it went down to 1000~ because it went down fast and everyone knew it would explode sooner or later.

Yes it requires a lot of times to make these huge changes, around + 330% from the current price. Good that you sold at 1k

Yeah, thats what Monero fanboys (or some of them) seem to not get. Monero will never be as big (let alone bigger, lol) than Bitcoin. Why? its simple, its super anonymous-only features give no chances at being transparent. This kills a large base of users and uses. Plus Bitcoin is king in all that matters: network strenght, adoption, network effect in general... which is all that matters, even more than who has got the best-ever technology.
Also, what people do not realize that if Bitcoin was completely anonymous it would have never been legalized. I'm pretty sure that even if Monero grows, it is going on the black list pretty quick (unfortunately).
I'm not saying that this will kill Monero, but it is definitely going to prevent it from taking a grasp at a larger user base.
However, Bitcoin seems to be in the middle of everything. It is partially anonymous, not too fast, not too slow; with a few upgrades here and there it could be considered almost perfect (for our time).

Well bitcoin is not completely anonymous, you are right, i see many websites require lots of information if you want to buy some bitcoins

It can't be physically stolen I guess, maybe that's a good thing. So less thieves in the world. But hackers don't count.

It cant be physically stolen you say?

What about when you transfer to a cold storage like a paper wallet? And they have the paper wallets pin and all the stuff lol.

Thats physical last time i checked.

Yes that is an option for paper wallets, must be very carefully where do we store them, multi sig would increase the security
