You need to take what Gleb writes with a grain of salt.  Smiley

WTF! I got my news from CNN and YouTube, the latter where Flat-earthers post proofs of their belief, not to mention using the same platform utilized by others espousing a globe world, in which the Flat-earthers dissect in advancing their model.

That said, Clint is dead and nothing short of him still being alive is gonna change that.

Even if the servers are deleted if there is any way to prove it

Yes, via photoshopped screenshots and altered emails, and you're golden.

Yes.

This is so fuckin weird. I clicked to relay a dream I had the other day involving a user on this forum that may or may not have been the person I quoted above who penned the very first reply on this thread. Okay, I'll admit it. It was with Vlad. In my dream, he was this sexy lookin' dude ... not that there's anything wrong with that ...

THAT'S ALL I'M SAYIN'!

Weird-ass fuckiin dream! Don't now how it ended because my hard dick work me up telling me that I had to take a piss. At least I'm pretty sure that's what it was telling me.

Hahaha.  You sick sumbitch, I hope that's not some prophetic dream.  lol

The way this thread is going, I now believe that Vlad is dreaming and I'm in it, with my only hope of escaping is having this thread locked. Mommmmmmmmmmy!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I would also like to know, is how much money was recovered in total, and what is the amount the lawyers will get for this (at 33%)
In all of the paperwork I have not seen the total amount available.

This settlement leaves open options for going after cryptsy and vern... That makes me happy.

Is this figure of 33% going to the lawyers actually stated in the paperwork? If that is the case, is there any connection between the organisers of the class suit asking these lawyers to fight the case and their own link with the lawyers? If there is a conflict of interest then surely that in itself is plain wrong

The Cryptsy Lawsuit is Over. The Judge issued the Final Order on June 13....Next Coinbase.

It's all in here. This is the Motion Approved by the Judge on June 13, 2017 :

http://cryptsyreceivership.com/v1/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Motion-for-Final-Approval-of-Settlements.pdf

Yes, the Lawyers get 33%. I read The House will net around $800,000 after the Realtor fees and costs.

The total is around 1.5 Million, to be split amongst the Lawyers and the Approved Claimants. A little over 1,600 met the Deadline and filed Claims.

They have not stated yet how many were approved.

One note of concern, is the Receiver stated that Just One Claimant's Claim is for more the the Entire Settlements Fund so let's hope that one gets Rejected Smiley

http://cryptsyreceivership.com/v1/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Response-to-Objections-to-Settlements.pdf

Did I read that right? Since no proof exist, all ~1680 claimants will get an equal share of the available loot minus lawyers fees, equating to ~U$470? Or is the available money doled out according to percentages?

"diminished pro rata recovery"

http://cryptsyreceivership.com/v1/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Response-to-Objections-to-Settlements.pdf

Thanks, Tommy. I should've Google "Pro Rata" prior to asking, whereupon I would've easily been brought up to speed. Claimants will be rewarded (what a funny fuckin word in this context) proportionally according to their claim that according to the lawyers' docs CANNOT be verified because the server was successfully 100% erased. Ergo, any Tom, Dick or Harry willing to put in some effort could easily game the system, including the lawyers and receiver.

I remember not too far back when Decred was conducting their airdrop campaign. I came along and demonstrated how their airdrop model could easily be gamed. I was met with discontent and assured that NO WAY IN FUCKIN HELL would gamers bypass their defense mechanisms. I said "Really!" Then I proceeded to create 10 user accounts so to game their system which they said couldn't be gamed. Success! All ten accounts where funded during the airdrop, whereupon I quickly sold off the amassed tokens because ... wait for it ... I knew in my heart that no way in hell they would be worth anything because I'm such a fuckin genius.  Grin Today: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/decred/  Cry Cry Cry

Believe me Bruno, I know the Feeling Sad  I had 110,000 XRP on Cryptsy. Today worth 13.1285 BTC.

The way the Settlement was Done, My Claim goes back to November 1, 2015 (The Official Date set by the Lawyers), when BTC was around $330.00 and my account Value was around 1 BTC Sad

I have no Idea how People proved their claims as of that Date (Nov. 1, 2015), as most, including myself, only started taking screenshots, when it was brought up in this Forum at a much later date. I was Trading right up until the End around January 17, 2016

My Problem, as others have mentioned,  is how do/would the Lawyers know that a Claimant with a high BTC Balance didn't get out with their money AFTER November 1, 2015 Huh

Tommy, I don't know what's crazier - you investing ~U$500 in Ripple at one time in hopes of it going to the moon or that once the smoke clears and the lawyers are paid, you'll receive ~U$7.14 as compensation for your initial ~U$500 lost on Cryptsy, of which you would've received, perhaps, close to U$8.00 if there weren't so many bogus claims made due to lawyers letting everybody know that the servers were erased, thus impossible to verify claims.

Who would've thunk that there'll been an ~U$35K spread on an ~U$500 investment as depicted above made less than two years ago?
2405  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: June 20, 2017, 08:42:21 PM
The word conscious and Paul Vernon don't belong in the same sentence or paragraph regardless the context.

True... it remains a sad situation which can be resolved so easily IF the biggest protagonist (Paul Vernon) stepped out of the shadow and apologised to everyone and then paid back the BTC because even after all he spent the value of BTC has rocketed. Whatever he has left can easily pay back everyone he scammed but the man has no concious as you so aptly commented.

EXCELLENT POINT!

Even though it's probably too late, technically it's NOT too late to do the right thing & make thousands of traders whole again.

PERV VERN needs a CONSCIENCE, although being "CONSCIOUS" would help too.

Oh, that would be so jolly good, JollyGood. Hey, maybe Mark Karpeles will also come around and return the over half billion dollars worth of crypto he stole. Or maybe Joshua Zipkin of AMT will turn a new leaf and return the millions he stole. Or maybe Josh Zerlan will return the moneys he indirectly stole from users. Or maybe Josh Garza will return the millions he stole.

Or maybe I'm just joshing you because it makes me feel jolly good.  Tongue Tongue Tongue

I think it would be karma if Paul Vernon was stung by his Chinese girlfriend and dumped after she took him to the cleaners just like he took us to the cleaners via Cryptsy. I would be so jolly at receiving the good news Smiley

I have no idea about these names you mentioned above because I only came back on the crypto forums a few weeks ago after a hiatus. I do feel sorry for all those who were scammed by the people you mentioned.

Yeah, I'm sure that the name Josh Zerlan wouldn't have crossed your radar given that he was only involved in a small-time operation that barely received any news, and most likely that fiasco - if one could refer to it as such - occurred during your hiatus, 2012-present I assume.

Oh, and that Mark Karpeles dude is even lesser known than Josh Zerlan, thus there's no way you could've possibly heard about him or of the woman who committed suicide in Singapore days prior to the collapse of Mark's little company.

I did not register in time for the class action. I wish I could still get my money back but cannot recall specifically how much I had in their wallets.

Did you trace the Cryptsy XRP wallet to see where the XRP have been forwarded to?

HAHAHAHAHA !!  Grin

Well spotted....

But seriously, I hope Paul Vernon has a heart and I hope he has a conscience and I very much hope is concious too Smiley

When he scammed everyone what was the value of BTC? Now the value is floating around the $2700 mark. He can easily pay everyone back AND still have a good life with his Chinese female counterpart.

Firstly, "brains" is singular, not plural in that context, albeit thanks for the complement.

It is good to see that some people are getting benefits  of this thread.  In addition right now Gainbtc is going through the rough phase like their wallet which shows daily payouts is straight forward lie and never allows withdrawals. Many investors crying as they are not able to get their refund. Some have called even when they received amount they invested in Rupees  that is person invested 1000 Rupees when bitcoin was 40000. So far he has received payout amounting 1000 rs whereas btc values is 189000 (if person has just kept that bitcoin, it would have 4times what he invested).
As far as Asian Guy is concerned you wont be able to find anything about him. Most possibly it is made up identity.

Hmmm....although GB is not thrustworthy, made up a lot of shady stories and changed rules of the contract with their clients solely, it seems people have different experiences, or people are haunting GB.
I'm the last person who will defend GB, but what you're stating is not my experience...at this moment, because with GB this can change like the weather so it seems.

For the last weeks i'm receiving payouts again(not what it should be, first they started with about 30% of what should be paid and now it's about 60%) on their wallet, and i can withdraw and send to my preferable destination. It's definitly not flawless, takes always very long, and for example now no withdrawals can be made because of updates  Roll Eyes...for more then 24 hours...

In a few months i'm at the end of my contract, and happy that i can forget all this, but for now every piece of BTC which arrives is welcome.

I have seen many sites like this one. Most of them proved to be a pure scam. Firstly they increase your balance like they promised and when you try to withdraw your funds they  will show minimum requirement to withdraw you balance. Beware of those sites. Better try trading and buy some shitcoins.

Gainbitcoin is no different, they are a scam!

I was there myself too, luckily i have my investment back and due to the increase of bitcoin price i am ok.

Now they claim to have " big problems"  due to heavy congestion with payout, but offcourse this is a lie. They implemented some sort of congestion meter on their website which states that as long as the congetions is 100% it's impossible to payout.  They only play mindgames to keep low-profile about this, but their intention is to avoid withdrawals.
A few weeks ago, they also stopped replying support requests and now they have made it impossible to raise one.  I will not even try to withdraw, or raise tickets anymore, i know enough.

All the signs are there, the ship is going down.

The problem is, it looks like they have made the system difficult for users to get their payouts. They says there is Blockchain congestion which was there some time ago but not always and not there currently, because other transactions are happening smoothly in minutes. They says there is very much load on their servers and that is why that 100% graph is not coming down and hence people are not able to raise withdrawal requests. They are making fool of people, it is simple if you have BTC's and you want to give payout to people you can simply put more servers to process more requests to manage laod.

Apart from that they are also stealing from payout as transaction fee, the said payout is lesser than what it suppose to be. Payout transaction fee is low like hell that their transactions are taking 3-4 days to confirm. This is their another source of income.

By that manual process they already stopped people who invested .5 and .1 BTC contracts to get their payouts because the withdrawal request can't be made lesser than .05 BTC. Its all about that they don't want to pay the people. Server load can be managed by adding more servers but if they don't want to pay then they will come up more of these kind of hassle full options.

You already described the situation accurately.

I have been patiently about this so far, but after some weeks of " congestion" and " heavy payout load" lies i don't believe their bullshit anymore.  Their support is suddenly vanished too, and now they made it even impossible to raise a support ticket! They play hide and seek already.
All the signs are there....the ship is going down!  Roll Eyes

Luckily i had my investment back and due to the increase of BTC price i'm good.

Gainbitcoin, Coinbank, Amit Bhardwaj and whoever were involved....go f@ck yourself!

Since obviously you're a useless fuck to society, may I suggest you exit the gene pool by blowin' your motherfuckin brains out? We all here thank you in advance.

Any new news? Why is the website still up? Is it that easy? SCAM SCAM SCAM

Rumor has it that those keen enough to buy U$20M worth of FoxMiners have been making big money and are too busy spending it, thus don't have time to report back to this thread to post a positive review. GOD BLESS THEM!

That's odd! Josh claimed he didn't have access to the wallet depicted above (nor any other BFL wallets), yet he paid me 10 BTC directly from one of them wallets to satisfy a bet, where a year later BFL sent me a 1099 for them 10 BTC.

I hate to say it, but I'm leaning heavily toward Josh Zerlan being a lyin' piece of shit. I reserve the right to retract that statement in some future life (or in two weeks, whichever comes first) if definitively proven that I was in error in my assessment in this life.
