And last comment for a while: Considering 2% pool fee at slush's pool, looking into Peta dividends received and the pool stats https://blockchain.info/address/1PETAmNrgdzx3FwzJPNuhx18JVKdGtwWt6https://beta.mining.bitcoin.cz/stats/blocks/?page=1it's visible PETA has only 9-9.5% of pool hashrate share (income from block at about 2.3-2.4BTC instead of ca 2.6-2.7)which is currently at 10.5PH. Seems that PETA is in reality mining at about 100THs lower level than it should. That would point to user user_960703 in pool stats - mining at about 1.03 PHs. That would explain current dividend 'problems'. I am unfamiliar with p2pool, but is it possible to see individual statistics unlike on Cex? that would also explain why they didn't switch, as it would have been apparent that each share was not 1 gh/s after all.

So either ghash is having terrible luck, not paying out correctly or cryptx is not pointing all its hashrate at the pool. So I checked its stats, and WTF ? http://www.petamine.co/stats/I guess they are moving to another pool and didnt feel the need to tell anyone? Either way, until yesterday the chart does still show the full ~1150TH at ghash, so for now Im gonna blame either ghash or bad luck at ghash and assume thats why cryptx is moving to another pool. But it would be wise to follow this up and ask him to comment. Ooops, so my idea of analyzing ghash.io blocks will be useless if he left the pool... Apparently they have left ghash.io in favor of Slush ( ) CryptX announcement from today on havelockinvestments: December 11th, 2014 - Dear unit holders, We switched pools from ghash.io to Slush pool as we have slightly improved performance there and the pool also has a better historical variance compared to ghash.io (although this is no guarantee for future variance). The switch hasn't caused any mining downtime and we have already received the first payouts. Payouts occur after 100 confirmations of finding a block. We are still working on the stats page as we need to alter our code to match the API of Slush pool. Team CryptX Slightly improved performance? Each share represents 1 GH/s, and they should be at 1150 GH/s no matter the pool, any improved performance of units are going straight into their pockets, or is the contract changing and they are paying more out to people than 1 GH/s? its not a fixed 1GH like AMhash is setup, on unlucky days you get lower payments on lucky days you should get more then 1GH would normally mine although it still doesnt add on on cryptxs side No it isn't a fixed 1 GH/s, but if they were mining with 1150 GH/s like they are supposed to be on Cex.io and so is AmHash, then the payouts should be rather similar, minus the maintenance fees difference. 1 GH/s on the pool will mine what 1 GH/s mines each day at the same pool, doesn't matter which company that 1 GH/s is for. So, they should be mining with 1150 GH/s, it shouldn't matter about any "improved efficiency" as you should still be seeing 1 GH/s worth of mining each day. I guess they need to better explain what they mean by, "improved efficiency". Because it certainly shouldn't/couldn't mean that the rigs are running faster, as the only reason for the switch then would be to line their pockets even more.

I don't mind this, just pointing out that it's a zero sum game and new JD owners are making a quick buck.
Dooglus (the owner) has >5,000 BTC. I doubt he is up for days on end trading CLAM He is nice enough to give the BTC community (LTC and DOGE.) A place they can come fuck off, chat (sharing ideas is very powerful) and maybe even help their coin out. When CLAM price goes up.. it goes up for everyone. Not just a select group... LOL, imagine if amazon, ebay, and paypal started accepting bitcoin and people were complaining that it was making bitcoin too valuable.

There have been several fiascos on this site with people paying for subscriptions - I've seen people lose a lot while being "promised" by the person making the picks they would be positive ev at the end of the week. I've seen people just get shafted when they stop making picks too after they get a few subs or they start losing bets.
In other words guys, if you paid this guy for picks, it's not going to end well...I promise.
In terms of getting shafted, that will not happen. I'm not a scammer, lol. In terms of winning or losing, I can't promise winning but I am fairly confident I will win. A lot of paid services lose after the vig, and I'm probably going to be winning after the vig. We'll see. Stay tuned bud. If there are issues or questions about anything, I would be willing to stand in as an escrow for membership fees between xiaoxiao and the customer. If Xiaoxiao also would like, I can help track his bets for him on a google shared spreadsheet, please refer to Stayeduptolate's thread where I do this service for him to see a sample of what the spreadsheet would look like. My payment would come in the form of free sports picks as long as they are put out. Please let me know if your interested xiaoxiao.

I think you are confusing 70 PH/s "dropping off" with variance. No one can accurately tell just how many PH/s are currently hashing, and instead, those graphs use their best guess based on the number of blocks mined in a given period of time and the difficulty. So what happened was, for a short period of time, there were more blocks mined than on average, which made it seem like there was more hashpower on the network, now we are seeing less blocks mined in the same amount of time, because it all averages out in the end, and it is looking like a bunch of workers dropped off. Also, the difficulty dropped by less than a percent, and the next difficulty so far doesn't look like it will be more than a couple percent in either direction. If 70 PH/s all of a sudden dropped off of the network, you would see a difficulty decline of over 25%. Also, BFL had a rather large farm (a few PH/s) but no where near 70, they were not competent enough to maintain something that large. I doubt a corporate farm would shut off tens of millions of dollars worth of equipment when they are still making money, and if your large enough to have 70 PH/s you will have backup power for this kind of situation. There is no new coins, most newly launched coins are crap, everyone knows it, and they die rather quickly. If something was profitable, it would be very quickly mined into non profitability.

I would be happy to help you out over Western Union at Bistamp +7%. Please let me know if your interested. I can pick up in about an hour and a half or roughly the same time tomorrow and then get you your bitcoin.
can't we do PayPal, it will be over in seconds and I don't need to go anywhere I'v dealt with trades over 2 BTC, why would I chargeback for 70$.. I am sorry, but I am not interested in trading Paypal. If interested I am happy to help, but not with Paypal, can also do cash in mail or in person depending on where you are. I would also possibly be willing to buy the deal for you and have it shipped to you, provided you pay bitcoin first and on the website. Please note, it has nothing to do with you. For all I know you could be just a nice guy trying to get some bitcoin and an honest person, but I have lost tens of thousands of dollars to scams, and my personal rules are set up for a reason learning from those instances. If your not interested in any of the above options, I understand, no hard feelings either way I hope, was just trying to help you out if you needed it, and I wish you good luck in getting the money from someone.

He has PM'd me to buy $20 worth of bitcoins over Western Union and we are waiting for the money to clear his bank account. I will update and leave trust once the trade is over and I have sent the bitcoin. Still recommend using escrow and not using paypal for any transactions, not because he may or not be a scammer, but because it is smart to protect yourself no matter who your dealing with.

Dogie, please look at BlackArrow's thread started by Theymos. There is now evidence that they have been mining on customer equipment with GPK's recent post. Please add to original thread once reviewed.
I had a look what you posted and there is absolutely zero evidence of what you're claiming. How so? GPK has a board that he claims he never plugged in, but it has burn marks on the board? How could those have gotten there without being run?

That sure looks like there was a fire on that board, and the fact that you never plugged it in can only lead to one believing that they were being run at BA's facilities. Add in the fact that they said that they are no longer testing customer machines and it looks like the lie that they have never run customer equipment has been overturned. Perhaps that is an LED that doesn't need any power and is black and that is why the board looks burned...? EDIT: It would probably be a good idea for everyone to check their boards for obvious failures such as the above prior to plugging them in at all, that would probably have burned down GPK's house had he not checked the board and just plugged it in.

Not interested in using Paypal, but if your looking for bitcoin I would be happy to sell with Western Union. Obviously I have a very high reputation so you shouldn't worry about going first (although I am happy to use escrow if you pay fees and we agree on escrower). I will also need bitstamp + 7% for this to work and you have to pay Western Union fees. Please let me know if your interested...

There should be no limit on the amount you can withdraw, and to be honest, 24 hours seems like a pretty large time frame for a cashout, but thats just me.
I would advise to stop playing at the casino, and post the casino's name so that others will know not to play there and can withdraw funds that they may have. I agree that if it was within a 24 hour time window then a 5 btc limit may be more appropriate (for security reasons and what not), but it is also really fishy that you are unable to withdraw YOUR MONEY.
That is simply the advice of someone who has been taken for tens of thousands of dollars worth of bitcoin over the last 3+ years and knows the signs of a scam/dying website.

When I am on my tablet and go to the sports section, everything works fine, just like from my desktop, but when I click on casino, I go to the mobile version of the casino. Is there a way to switch from the mobile to desktop casino, since the desktop casino has more games available and I cannot use my bonus credits on the mobile site.
Also, when using my bonus credits, why after I play a game does the game not show up anymore on the games list? If I were to play say Heist, and when I am done I close it and come back later, the Heist game is no longer offered to be able to play for Bonus?
